BEWARE of this location very unprofessional staff is inexperienced and rude and brings up every excuse possible as to why they didn’t complete the cancellation process. I rather pay 300$/ a month than to have to deal with them again. SCAMMERS.

Been going for over three years. Well worth ten dollars a month and once a year $39. Clean well maintained machines, friendly staff.

I have been a member of Planet Fitness for over 2 years and I cant say enough about their gym in the West Erie Plaza. Staff always greet you with a smile and answer any questions or concerns you have. I especially want to express my appreciation for Karmen! She provides excellent and professional advice on working out, the right way! I have referred several people to this gym, including family!!

This is a nice, clean gym. Im usually able to use all the exercise machines I want without waiting for anyone else to finish.

It actually appears PF is cleaner post pandemic which is just awesome!Cleaning staff routinely and thoroughly wiping everything down. Everyone is respectable about space as well.

I love my early morning workout. Very few people, so it is easier to move around.

Clean facilities and great staff. Friendly clientele. Parking is convenient. Somewhat different layout than other locations. An enjoyable experience overall, until the billing issue. After relocating to the area I needed to change my bank, I tired to change my billing information online but kept getting an error message the read I had to pick a date 5 days from the current date, which I checked multiple times, just to be sure it wasnt something I was doing wrong. I never was able to update my billing information. Where they really annoyed me was that there was no way to send a message to them online, so I guess I will have to call them and talk to someone who most likely has no way to solve my issue. I believe a contact us button is kind of a no brainers and the fact that the phone number of the club is not even on the website also speaks volumes about their competency.

Great place to workout. Plenty of space to keep it pretty safe right now too. Amenities for black card members are nice- massage chairs, tanning, hydrotherapy massage, etc. Prices extremely reasonable

First time working out at planet fitness. Employees were super friendly and helpful. Super clean. Felt really comfortable working out. Didnt feel intimidated at all. Everyone wiped machines down when finished. Not 1 negative thing to say.

This is the tanning beds. Talked to staff multiple times ... Was told to clean them myself or if I have a problem with it not to tan here ..

During Covid this place is great. Properly spaced machines and equipment...everyone has been masked, no unmasked patrons to my experience, and dedicated sanitizing stations. The gym closes every night for cleaning and sanitizing and then re opens after. PF is really doing their part to keep things moving well for ppl...but its dependent on ppl to make some intelligent decisions also. Overall theyre doing an exceptional job to be the best for everyone.

The worst management I have EVER came across. BEWARE if you join this location. NEVER have I delete with unprofessional people as the management here.

Its a great gym, and its opened 24 hours. It is fun to go there at night because there is not a lot of people. There are lots of equipment.

Assistant manager Josh at PF West Erie is fantastic. Personable, knowledgeable, and, after members are taken care of at the front desk, is constantly cleaning. The guy never sits still! Cant say enough good things about him.

Nice location but feels a little smaller than what Im used to at the old Peach Street location. Very clean, friendly staff, and the equipment is in great condition. Just wish there was a little more elbow room.

Clean and new facility. Expect to wait for some equipment on weekdays after work. It’s gotten much busier since the peach street PF closed, hopefully it gets less busy when the Millcreek mall location opens.

The gym has all the amenities, an even have machines I didnt have in other PF, yay! But I find it a bit hard to keep distance around weight lifting, its a bit of a small gym. But what is weird is theres always 3 staff, Ive never seen them use the floor cleaner, or cleaning lockers, one very visible spill stayed 4 days!! Ive only seen night shift clean. But the most annoying, is there treadmills card reader wont stop trying to read my book, an beeps every 1sec, plus when I couldnt figure the treadmill out. All 3 staff didnt know how to use the treadmills, WHAT!? So not cleaning, an not trained?? P.S There is a few staff members that are great, an work hard, helpful, an clean. Check your cameras.

This location is one of the best! Extremely clean with nice people at the desk. For only $10 a month theres no better option for a gym. Can get crowded during late hours so definitely go at a good time. I go in the mornings and its literally just me. Couldnt ask for a better gym.

Newer than the other locations in town— if you have a black card you can use the hydro massage chairs which feels like water jets all over your body but with a chair barrier (charrier?) so you don’t get wet. Other than that it’s a standard PF gym, clean with lots of equipment and friendly staff.

Local fire fighter asked to use the stair master in full turnout gear to honor those who have fallen for 9/11 and was told they were not allowed. I’ll be calling to cancel my membership soon.

I’ve been coming here for about a year now, all good and I like it. But lately there’s a lot of nasty people that don’t wipe down the equipment after they use, especially people from India. This should be made mandatory that you have to clean up after yourself.

Great place

I loved planet fitness, but I left it for a better deal. They did not have the amount of free weights I wanted. They also do not have enough benches in their locker rooms. They do have a lot of cardio equipment which is nice because you always get the machine you want. They just dont have any squat racks or benches for a barbell chest press.

Clean, friendly place. Love the fact that I can watch Netflix right at my machine and I forget that I am even running! Love the massage chairs and Total Body Enhancement room too.

Got a membership here a few weeks ago and so far Im happy I did. The gym is new, the staff is nice and theres a lot of different equipment to choose from. The gym and locker rooms are clean and its very affordable. Best of all, its it in a much more convenient location than the Upper Peach Street Planet Fitness.

Im not so much of a big guy but some would definitely consider me a lug. Ive been going here to use their cardio equipment and the staff has been very nice and helpful. Beyond that: both the equipment and facility are very nice

Its a gym, nothing out of the ordinary, and nothing special. 20 dollars a month allows you to bring. Gym mate and 10 a month is standard gym membership. There machines and a few free weights, its nice when its not crowded, and a bear when it is, same as any other gym.

Love this place, staff is always welcoming and great,always a clean place to work out ery comfortable to go anytime of the day.

Price is right. Open 24 hours. Very clean. BUT: 100% of the time at least 30% of the stationary bikes (includes recumbent) are out of order and/or faulty. Absolutely no help from front desk. They have no idea how long before they are fixed. Repeated reports to the desk about problems go ignored, especially if it is electronic (video/audio issues).

West Erie Plaza Planet Fitness is the best, Dante signed new up and I have a fractured spine. Black card members pay under $22 per month to tan, workout (also booth you can get a workout in like a tanning booth), massage chairs, hydro massage beds. I’m alive and should not be, I can barely walk, but just one visit it two a week and it I can walk without my cane and feel great, no strenuous exercise at all, and My doctors say (I’ve got many Drs), I have zero body fat. I’m saying if it were not for a friend telling me that planet fitness had tanning booths (dr says now ok to use as its regulated and better than getting sun) and my body although I have serious medical conditions, is better than I ever had in my life at 57, I now feel and look 35-40. Nobody believes I’m 57, well 57 next Monday! Just one visit and I can go the day without a cane, I keep it close by, but I’m able to get around like I did before I had any spinal issues, and I have a lot of issues. Don’t hesitate to join planet fitness, if you travel, you can use it anywhere there is a planet fitness, it’s included in your 21.95 per month, and did I say also NO CONTRACT, cancel anytime, rejoin any time! Don’t think you can’t fell like you are 15 years old again, you can by joining a Planet Fitness! I would personally do a commercial for planet fitness with my story if going from 190 lbs March, 2019 to115 lbs just a few months later with a muscle, toned, tan healthy body, and I eat whatever I want to eat, just by spending a 1/2 hour several days a week at Planet Fitness you’ll feel and look great, and my story is one that most people would never believe!!! No painkillers, Dr was overprescribing me for 12 years and I was a mess to put it mildly and lost over 12 years of my life. Im working with the DEA, Attorney Generals office in another state. I have quite the story that needs to be told, and would not be alive if it were not for the person I love, who loves me unconditionally and the services of Planet Fitness in Erie, Pa. thanks Dante, Dan and the entire staff at the West Erie Plaza for giving me back my strength and making my journey through a horrible time, bearable, even makes me smile. Thanks again!

I love Planet Fitness! You can get in and get a great workout with no BS. This place is super clean and the staff is friendly. A++

A lead staff member there openly mocked my fiancé and in my opinion a racist manner. She is a minority woman, and when I alerted management they did nothing. Hands down to worst Planet Fitness I have been to. It’s sad to see there are still businesses who allow Racist atmospheres to continue like this one. I think that management is responsible for the atmosphere, so draw your own conclusions. One thing is for sure, this particular Planet Fitness is Not A Judgement Free Zone.

Best PF in town currently because of the elliptical/step tracking to your tag, best tanning booth area as well, also I have to give the staff here overall the edge.

As convinent and nice this gym is I think I’m more willing to drive the extra minutes to peach street. These employees are not friendly and everytime I come in for example last night there were two employees sitting on the counters as me and my friend waited to get scanned as because she is guest. I get it’s a laid back job but it’s so unprofessional.

Newest local Planet Fitness. Has newer tech within in advent of rfid black cards to help expedite signing in to various cardio machines with interactive displays and apps preloaded for you to enjoy from netflix to hulu to pandora/spotify and more.Clean facilities whenever ive been in, though for a couple weeks seated bikes were out of order/had locking issues on seats. All have been fixed since though. Has 30min workout room for guidng newcomers or those who need to be in and out, alongside a 360* training room with more intense workout stations/equipment. Has something on tvs for everyone, downside is all news outlets have a couple tvs as well which imo is a bummer.

It seems like a great place to work out but I hear that they dont let you breathe hard when youre exercising I dont know if thats true or not but I really like the idea of it

The staff is super. However, I had problems with people not cleaning the machines after they were done. Since Covid, I have decided not to return for that very reason. Maybe somewhere down the road, but certainly not now.

Great place to work out idk what m was talking about, if you have to scan in then scan in then write guest on guest list. Staff is amazing place looks brand new Everytime I walk in . Only down side I think they need a stronger internet source my phone and a few others have connection problems maybe a stronger router
