I rarely leave poor reviews, but this place was more than underwhelming especially for the price. I usually go to Avalon nails which shout out to Tran- is one of the best manicurists in town, but they are moving so needed a stop gap. The manicure I got was rushed and sloppy, with almost every finger having polish on the skin surrounding my nails. I will never go back to this salon.

Im on a mission to find a salon to go to regularly. Just stopped here for a pedicure. The place is good and staff friendly. The actual pedicure was underwhelming. He didnt scrub my feet well, barely at all. He used a drop of lotion and mostly rubbed my skin dry with gloves on. It was painful I flinched. My skin is more dry after then when i got there. He did the bare minimum in trimming the nails.I dont think this is good value. The search continues

Ive been going to Bliss for a few years now for manicure and pedicures. Lan is absolutely wonderful. It is the only place I can truly relax. The staff is friendly. It is very clean and inviting. I highly recommend.

We go to Bliss on a regular basis. We’ve tried almost every other salon in the area over time. But Bliss has proven the best. They take great care in cleanliness, they are very nice and make sure you are happy everytime you walk out the door. I love all the pedicure options, worth every penny!

I went to bliss to get a regular pedicure and manicure. The place is absolutely gorgeous and smells delightful. The pricing is average but I loved that everything was super clean and the customer service was great. What made then lose a star for me was the performance. I get my nails done every two weeks at several different places and the lady that helped me today was just not good at doing a maní pedí. She was extremely sweet but couldnt even properly cut my nails the way I wanted it to be done. Overall, I will probably try this place again but with someone else.

I went after COVID 19 lockdown and the place is amazing kept everything cleaned and sanitize. Every station has nice shield and sanatize bottles. Loved my nails.

This is my favorite nail salon Ive been to (though Ill admit I havent been to many). The pedicure area is kind of in this alcove with dim lights which is really relaxing. They always fit us in even when we have a larger group. They do a really nice job and everyone is very friendly. They also have beverages, chips, and chocolate available for free!

My daughter had a great experience here. After being made to feel that she was a bother and rough handling at another EC nail salon, Bliss was a breath of fresh air. Her technician was gentle and listened to her and really took her time to alleviate any concerns. We will definitely be back!

Best nail spa in Columbia! All the technicians are excellent. My review is especially for Long. I went to the spa to get one of my natural nails repaired so it didnt break off at the base. He swiftly repaired my nail --- at no cost! Superb customer service from the front desk to the chair.

Bliss Nails & Spa of Ellicott City is no question the best nail salon in Maryland! Very talented nail technicians and they offer a wide range and selection of different services. The design and decor of the place is really top notch and creative, you would think a professional interior designer owns it (maybe one does Im not sure). So many new amenities as well, such as brand new upscale pedicure chairs and a whole new line of dip powder and gel colors. They are the most sanitary salon I have ever been to, and even more so now that we are mid-COVID 19 (for reference it is currently July 2020). They really went all out to make sure clients feel comfortable while we are still dealing with all of the virus stuff, by wearing facial coverings, installing plexiglass guards, sanitizing everything, keeping clients six feet apart, it is impressive. There is nothing to be concerned about coming here for a service right now, and this is coming from someone who is uncomfortable going to the grocery store or getting carryout right now. I had a small issue with my dip powder manicure and they offered to fix it which was really great since I had no expectations for them to redo it. I (and my mother) have been coming here for several years now. Anyone going to another salon is really doing themselves a disservice and I would recommend switching to Bliss Nails, especially considering I feel that the prices are comparable to any salon (Ive been getting my nails done for about 15 years and used to live in northern Maryland). I had my bachelorette nail party here before my wedding in March and they went all out with little favors and flowers. I havent written many reviews before but I feel like they have such a great service and I want to support local businesses especially after the virus shutdown. Go treat your self and schedule an appointment!

It was my first time and Long was amazing. Facilities are clean. Seems the staff is knowledgeable and can achieve whatever vision you have for your nails. Waxing was also professional, clean and comfortable well done. Will be back.

My pedicure felt so rushed like everyone was trying to close for the day. It lasted less than 30 minutes and one of my toenails was only half painted, which I didnt notice until I had already left.

I have been going there since they opened. I really like Maria. She is a very good technician. The reason I am giving them a low review is because recently I have had to wait 15-30 minutes each time I come for my scheduled appointment. They seem to be running behind lately. My most recent visit had to be rescheduled because she was so far behind and then had to leave. What is the point in making an appointment? They need to figure out their scheduling issues and fix them or they will lose business.

I travel all the way from Westminster (Carroll county, about 45 minutes away) to this place! It is EXTREMELY clean and the staff are very friendly and great at their jobs. They have a great selection of polishes as well as the biggest selection of scrubs I have ever seen for pedicures! The atmosphere is the best as well, the first one I have ever been to that has great hospitality- snacks and drinks while you wait! Very nice place

Not friendly for people with disabilities. I took a friend who is fighting Parkinsons disease and needs a transport chair because she has difficulty walking. The staff refused to accommodate her getting a pedicure even after I explained that I would assist her into the chair. They said the chairs were too narrow (shes petite...???) and that they could not take the risk. Again I explained I would be there the whole time. Again they refused, offering a manicure but not a pedicure. Needless to say we left and I took her to my favorite place up Rte 40, though not as fancy, the staff there was more than accommodating and were very kind. It looks like a nice place but if you are physically challenged or maybe accompanying a PC or elderly person I would NOT recommend.

My two daughters and I went here for the first time. They were amazing! You can tell they take prison their work and take their time to ensure your nails are the best. We have been searching for a good place to go and this is it. Highly recommended!

The eyebrow person though she didnt ask what I wanted just cleaned it barely and when I said I didnt like it I want more of an arts she just said well that has to be thin I said OK but I would like an arch doesnt do it and when I tell her I still dont like this use is what you want me to get someone else I said no whats the point and she got mad wont get my eyebrows done here again or anything else not worth It

My tech was Cindy and my nails looked worse after the manicure than they did before I got them done. When I voiced my opinion, the tech and another tech began shouting at me. Never have I ever had such a horrible experience before.

I went with my daughter yesterday August 25 for my birthday gift from my daughter for upgraded pedicure and manicure. We had the worst experience. The person who did my pedicure was constantly chatting loudly non- step, she was very unfriendly and did not do any massage at all although the upgrade comes with it.Worst is that she removed callous from my feet and also the one who was doing my daughters pedicure dumped all the callous dirt in the water tub and put our feet in it and this was lost horrible thing.They did not clean nail polish and nails off the dirt.These issues need to be fixed ASAP. I have itching in my feet since yesterday and Inthink it is due to the all the callous dirt soaked water that they put our feet in and washed their instruments in the same water.The most horrible experience. First, your services are top-notch, which is why I expect courtesy and respect every time I visit.While my nails were perfect, I was treated rudely because 1. I arrived 30 minutes early for my fill and pedicure. 2. I did not want gel polish only regular nail polish.I did not mind waiting for my regular person and didnt ask for you to have someone else proceed with my pedicure. Also, if you were listening to me instead of insisting I get gel polish, you would have heard I was having major surgery and did not need a polish I could not remove myself.I do not appreciate you shoving my hand back when u were done with each step of my fill.Still deciding if I want to return to this salon since it was the manager who was rude to me. Insult to injury.... I always tip you well!So disappointed. Sigh...

I like this place better than others nearby. Very clean and relaxing. No television.. I find television stressful. This place has nice music.

I came once and the service was great. This time everything felt rushed. I let that pass because they were busy. When I got home and looked at my toes I realized that my toenails were not completely polished. I called and spoke to someone who was extremely rude . I will never patronize this place again . Had my first deluxe pedicure here today and it was clean—they used a bin liner—and the nail tech was professional. My toes look great! I even got a decent brow wax. Only reason it’s not five stars is that the massage chair was broken and it took 15 minutes for me to realize that it wasn’t really moving from my lower back. I asked about it and the answer was, “yeah, sorry.” Don’t use the chair if you know it’s broken! Outside of that, this is an efficient place, with a few frills like free snack and drinks.

Horrible pedicure! I was so disappointed. The ratings for this places were good and I was excited to try a new place. Worst decision ever. My pedicure was 25 mins max. Their list of pedicures said it would be an hour. When he was done with the exfoliating my legs he rinses my legs off with cold water. Then he proceeded to put a mask on my legs and feet and placed hot towels on my legs. When it was done he wiped my legs off with cold dirty towels he had already used on me that he threw in the bowl. He rushed through the painting of my toes as well. Overall a horrible experience. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

A wonderful experience from start to finish! New location with relaxing, truly spa like environment. The staff were all cheerful and welcoming. They easily answered our questions and tailored their services to meet our needs. Clean place with sanitary practices, free snacks, discounts for students and seniors. Great results, our nails looked beautiful! There are many OK nail salons in Ellicott City, but they wont see me again! Give Bliss your business as you bare your toes this summer, you wont be sorry!

I’ve gone to this salon since they opened and they do a great job on acrylic nails! I have recently started doing SNS dip powder and I’ve had issues at this salon. I’ve had my nails done for less than a week and 2 of the nails have already chipped. Dip powder nails are supposed to be thick like acrylics but this salon doesn’t know how to do actually do dip powder the right way. BESIDES SNS I would definitely recommend this place! Especially for acrylics, gel, and pedicures!

I came to this nails salon everyone was raving about.. my pedicure was great loved every minute. Same lady did my nails, I am completely disappointed. I felt so rushed. She kept saying she couldn’t give me what I wanted because she didn’t have time. I asked for rhinestones which to my knowledge isn’t much to ask but apparently no one in the salon knows how to add rhinestones........ if your looking for a quick mani pedi this is the salon for you but anything out of the ordinary go someplace else.

I went for a pedi and refill. The pedicure was very quick, I felt like I am at drive through! Then the lady was not listening to what I was saying as to what my requirements were. I was disappointed as evertime I was trying to say something she would answer back saying she knows. Very disappointed!

Called December 23 right when they opened and was given apt in 30mins. Had the hot stone pedicure and gell nails. Maria did pedi and was wonderful. Very attentive and careful. Clean and relaxing atmosphere.
