I’ve been a patient of Gabharts for over 2 years now and they have been nothing but amazing to me. The staff is always so sweet and friendly. I’ve had a tooth extraction, fillings, a crown and cleanings and every time has been a 5 star experience. Would recommend to any friend or family needing dental care.

This practice has the most amazing father/daughter dental team, and I know because both have done work on my mouth. Extremely pleasant atmosphere and always professional. You wont go wrong with using them as your dentist!!

Last year I came here as a refuge from Hurricane Zeta and this year Im here from Hurricane Ida. Even 1,000 miles away, I will never go to another dentist. Im 62 years old and will continue coming here. Best dentist ever.

I’ve seen Dr. Jay since I can remember. He’s always been very knowledgeable, welcoming and FUNNY!! Today was my first time seeing Dr. Jessica (who is awesome!) but I was glad that he still stuck his head in just to say hi. Both of the docs make you feel like family here and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else!

The staff here is wonderful and great with my children. The kids come in and sit right down in the chair because they have always made them feel safe and comfortable. Dr Gabhart is knowledgeable and also personable. Always a short wait time in office and they get us in quickly if we have an issue.

The most friendly staff of any medical office I know. Before being a patient of Dr Gabhart, I went to the same dentist for 22 years. After moving to this area, I began seeing Dr Gabhart and realized how much different ‘the experience’ of visiting a dentist could be. I honestly can’t imagine visiting a different dentist now.

I’ve been going to Gabhart since I was a child and they have always been nice and accommodating. They are very polite, easy to schedule with, and I will always trust them with my teeth.

Extremely rude and incompetent office staff. In one incident, someone in their office filed my claim to the insurance incorrectly, sent me a bill claiming the insurance wouldn’t pay, and then when I discovered their mistake (wrong name on claim), they refused to refile it, insisting that I pay the full price immediately. I had to get my insurance to call them and remind them of their obligation as in-network providers to file the claim.In an encounter before that one, they allowed us to sign a payment agreement on a service that was going to be expensive for us and then called later that same day and insisted that I pay the bill in full immediately because they weren’t allowing payment plans any longer.In both situations they were rude and very unprofessional. They were very angry that I would dare to ask them to honor their agreement they and I had both signed just about 30 minutes before their phone call.Both of these situations were all in the face of their dentist taking care of my husband’s very specific and delicate needs because of cancer . So there was zero compassion from the office staff, even knowing our situation. Disgraceful.On another note, I had previously posted this review and it’s magically gone, so I’m not sure how they managed to accomplish that. There were other bad reviews with similar comments as mine I’d read at the same time I posted mine that are also missing from this page. 🤔

Love Dr J and his professional staff - have been a patient for many years! Hygienist are very gentle when doing the cleaning. They get you in on time and out quickly.

I live in Florida but am from Etown and in town several times a year visiting family and friends. Gabhart Family Dentistry was highly recommended for dental implants by my significant other. First I have to how accommodating they were getting me scheduled for appointments within a limited timeframe. They have the most updated, modern equipment imaginable; the x-ray machine is awesome, like something from Star Wars! Dr. J and Dr. Jessica were so good at explaining my options, their recommendations and why. They also arranged the process of having 2 dental implants inserted working with both their schedules and mine. I can’t say enough about the friendliness and skill of the entire staff. More review to come after the implants are in and I’m chewing with them!

I was a patient of Dr. J Gabhart before I left Elizabethtown and moved to Florida almost 8 years ago. I hated having to switch dentist but I did and I like my Florida dentist. However, I still miss Gabhart Family Dentistry and trust them for good care. I’ve only seen Dr. J. Dr. Jessica was not there but if she’s like her dad or mom, she’s awesome! Not only does Dr. J do excellent dental work, he is friendly and his patient interaction is outstanding. Since I have family in Etown (who also see him for dental care) I visit several times a year. On a few visits I’ve needed dental care while visiting. I’ve always either been seen the day I called or the following day. Once Dr. J even met me at the office on a day they were closed because I had chipped a tooth and I was in town for a wedding. I just recently met Melanie Keesee, office manager, via texts and email. I appreciate her effort arranging appointments for me to get 2 crowns completely done in my limited time-frame visit coming up. She also arranged for my significant other who will be a new patient to see Dr. Gabhart in the same time frame. I can’t say enough good things about the entire Gabhart team. They are awesome!!!

I would give more than 5 stars if I could! The entire team at Gabhart Family Dentistry is truly wonderful. I came in as a completely new patient because they offered sedation during procedures. As someone with a lot of anxiety when it comes to dental work, this sedation possibility emboldened me to get work done that I’d been putting off and I am so glad I did! They were thorough in reviewing the treatment plan, scheduling the necessary appointments and explaining what I’d need to do prior to the procedure. The day of, I didn’t feel a thing and barely remember anything from that appointment.They also offer scheduling via text, which is super helpful.Dr. J and Dr. Jessica are fantastic, as are every single hygienist and assistant I encountered.This is the best place to go if you have anxiety associated with any kind of dental work. HIGHLY recommend.
