My vote for 5 star review would be Personal Trainer/Group Instructor/Spin Instructor/Holistic Nutritionist, Alma!She finds the way to motivate and push you during every strenuous session I’ve experienced with her. She’s a trainer that truly cares for her clients and wants the gains just as much. Always a professional and is an instructor who can dish it out herself and still have some fun with movements to get you out of your comfort zone.I’m convinced she’s a, Top Notch World Class Fitness Trainer!

The only reason I keep going to Golds Gym is because of Alma Espinoza. The knowledge and dedication she offers to this facility is without a doubt the best I’ve seen. I’ve gone to different gyms that have never had anyone like her. She’s willing to feed you knowledge without hesitation. Even if she isn’t your personal trainer. Then there’s her classes! Man if you’ve never done one you’re missing out! Her spin class is my favorite, when your done, you feel a cleanse as if you’ve just gone to church and asked for forgiveness! She truly is amazing!!!

I love this gym because of the daycare! I don’t think Claudia gets enough appreciation for the amazing work she does. My son cried so much when I first started dropping him off and I always felt so bad leaving him but she was so patient with him. She always communicates with me on how he was during the time in her care and now he loves going and I feel confident in leaving him there with her. I definitely think she should have at least one other person there to assist her but overall she’s amazing and she’s the reason we love Golds gym!

This review here is for one of the most respectful people I have met and it is Val from the front desk! She’s always greeting me and helping me out with my membership and she’s always punctual and provides really great customer service. If you want to be treated with great customer service, Val is your girl. I love coming to this gym, it is always clean and good hospitality. Golds is the best gym in ep!!!

I started going to this gym when it opened its great, big, spacious, and clean. The daycare here is awesome. Claudia the women in charge takes real good care of my son. Therefore, I can get a good workout in knowing my son is in good hands thank you !

It gets pretty crowded but surprisingly clean. Price is reasonable for all the amenities and equipements they have. Staffs are really nice too. I also subscribed for their day care. The caregiver is an angel, shes so sweet and my son who has special needs loves her. I havent considered joining classes because of the schedule but Ive seem them and I think theyre fun too.

Dianas Body Combat class at 5.15 AM on Mondays and Fridays is awesome!! She is always ready to get your day going. Great amount of energy considering its so early in the morning. She does a great job of motivating, and providing detailed instruction by example.

Valerie is always super nice and friendly! Shes always greeting me when I come in and asks me how am I doing. She always makes my day when I go there and has helped me out from the start. 10/10 recommend this place!

I have to give huge credit to Body Pump instructor Annette. Ive been a member of Golds in El Paso long before the Tierra Este location even opened, Ive taken many different classes (for a few years, two a day, five days a week) from many different instructors, and Annette stands out! She cares about her students, she brings energy and fun and solid instruction to all of her classes, she asks for feedback so that she can use the tracks her students most enjoy. Ive made more friends in her classes than in any other class I ever attended. Love her as an instructor, love her as a person; try out her class for yourself!

Victor at the front desk is so Welcoming even at 4:30 a.m.Also Alma the personal trainer/Spin instructor. Her Spin class is top notch. Ive been to Spin class in Los Angeles, New York city. Those places cant even compare to Almas class. She truly gives an Amazing Class. Im so Happy shes here at Golds gym.

Excellent facilities and very friendly and great instructors for the classes!Today I enjoyed the Bodyflow class with miss Thalia! Very kind, fit, strong patient and flexible young lady! I like that she encourages modifications and make the class easy for all adults!

Love Claudia at the daycare. She has grown so fb my boys and I’m confident my babies will be taken care of.The leg press has been out of service for a while and a good amount of the equipment need to fixed and need maintenance as they are beginning to cut my legs and elbows

Valerie is the only one that does her job right. She is always at the front desk doing whats shes suppose to be doing. She is ALWAYS helpful and friendly. One thing that I love that she always welcomes ingoing and outgoing customers.

I LOVE this gym, BUT.. this new “only 1 ONE person per sauna” rule, to be honest, is RIDICULOUS. I’m paying $64 a month membership and to be held back my time because of this rule is uncalled for. There is NO need to have just 1 ONE person in a huge sauna and to have others wait for one person to be done. I believe this new management rule needs to be removed to satisfy our members and make everyone happy again to know they can sauna when needed and not wait on one person.

Valerie has great customer service, best public relations, and has a very positive attitude. Shes always helping me out with anything I need. I always look forward to coming in the mornings to see her at the front desk.

The gym is great and all but members pay for a good clean gym we don’t pay 10 nor it’s free all you see are this bugs outside and inside the gym moving around or dead. It’s disgusting and very uncomfortable.

When my husband and I made our membership they offered childcare also on Saturdays, now they changed the hours and they don’t offer childcare on weekends :( I think a lot of parents would appreciate to workout also on Saturdays again.I have to give Claudia a 5 star, she is amazing at the daycare and it seems that kids love to be there.Daniel at the reception is also amazing, he welcomes you always with a smile and it makes you feel welcome.On the other hand there is Valerie, who seems to hate her job, very unfriendly and disrespectful, not a nice person to see at the reception.In general, this gym is a nice place.

Signed up a few months ago with Angela and was very helpful with giving a tour and giving us information. Gym is always clean including sauna and restrooms. Highly recommend.

I came to tour this facility 3/16/21. First of all, It’s a beautiful gym/facility and super clean. I wanted to love it because I really need a gym that offers childcare. I have to say that the “Kids Corner” was a huge let down for multiple reasons. When my husband went to check it out to see what the process was for drop-off the lady working the childcare had zero designation that she worked for Gold’s- no shirt, badge... nothing. Secondly, she spoke NO ENGLISH. Which let me preface this by saying this is nothing personal to her. But this is a huge legal and SAFETY ISSUE.This is problematic for multiple reasons- when I asked how the drop off/sign-in worked... she could not tell me. If my child needed to communicate to her or was experiencing some need or distress, she would not be able to know what was needed. If something occurred with my child while I was gone she would not be able to tell me. I am not sure why you would not have someone who is bilingual working this position so that they would be able to communicate needs with parents? I also want to say that signing a clip board is not sufficient for leaving your child in a room. Can anyone come in a claim to be my child’s parent? Or pick up and walk out with my child? There’s no matching armband or any designator for you to know that I am my child’s actual guardian or parent- especially when there is a communication barrier to begin with. Like I said, I was impressed with the facility. Not impressed with childcare or the front desk staff who appeared lost as to prices, processes, tours, and selling this gym to potential customers. I would love to be able to join but I also need to feel like it would be safe to leave my child while I work out.

I’m a huge fan of Annette, Nidia/Nivia, Diana, Leonor, and David’s instructor-led classes at Tierra Este location. They are exceptional and great motivators. I always look forward to their classes of RPM, Body Pump, Cycling, Body Combat, and GRIT. Victor is a friendly face to see every morning at the front desk. I miss Isabel’s GRIT classes!!

I want to thank Annette Telles who leads Body Pump. She makes the class personal, encourages us and is professional. I feel like I am a part of a family.I have often asked management to please add Zumba classes to no avail. I have even considered going to a competitor who offers great Zumba classes, BUT I cannot leave Body Pump with Annette.Thank you Annette.

Great gym! If you’re looking for a gym that’s always clean, has working new machines, and a good atmosphere, this is your gym. They also have showers, lockers, and a dry sauna(currently closed though due to covid). And the people there are always super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Kat ♥️ is awesomeness and truly amazing on every level! Her spin class is top notch and her energy and motivation guarantees an ultimate work out EVERY time! From start to finish her music pumps you up and pushes you to workout every muscle in your body. While the class is high energy, any fitness level can get a wonderful workout and see phenomenal results! At the end she still pushes you with squats, arms or wall holds. Not only does she have a beautiful spirit she’s absolutely stunning and you can tell she practices what she preaches. Must try her class!!! It’s 10/10 for sure ♥️

This Golds Gym in particular has many things that attracts me and keeps me going back religiously. However, the main reason is the Spinning Class Instructor “Kat”. She keeps the class very exciting and interesting. I love the fact that even during those days that I’m not feeling it, she finds a way to encourage and motivates me. Kat is the best!

There are many things that I don’t like about this gym including how management handles issues. However, my current personal trainer, Ishmael, is amazing! The only reason I’m giving this gym 5 stars is because of Ishmael and his commitment to the care and health of his clients.The first personal trainer I had at this gym was awful. My second personal trainer was great but was forced to leave. I was worried when I got paired with Ishmael because I didn’t want another experience like I had with my first trainer. But since day 1 Ishmael has been so helpful and listened to my goals and how I feel. He exemplifies professionalism. He pushes me to challenge myself and I always feel proud of myself when I’m finished with our workouts.I look forward to spending the next few months learning to grow and love exercise with Ishmael.

I was told by the gym staff that I would not be charged for the months that they were close. Later I find out I still got charged; I call them to see why I got charged for those months. They offer me two free months so that I will keep my membership with them. Then the month that they told me it would be free, I got charged again. I contact the manager Andrea, so I get refunded for the month that they offer for free. And because I ask for the refund for the month they offer for free, she terminated my membership, and I am still waiting for my refund... Would I recommend the gym to my colleagues? No, I will not; an ethical business would have kept their word on what they offer to their clients.

Great gym, great staff, hired a personal trainer named Ishmael. Great guy, knows how to help and work with people, very interactive with his clients. Definitely recommend him if you need a personal trainer or the gym if you need a good individual workout.

Ive been a member here for years and it used to be an amazing gym, great customer service and a amazing sauna but now they wont even open the sauna or even give us straight answers of when they will reopen them. The CDC literally gave gyms the Ok to reopen saunas!! Everytime Ive asked when they are going to reopen they always tell me that its under renovation or maintenance or they would just tell me itll open soon. If the sauna doesnt open sooner I might just start going to TRUFIT THEIR SAUNA IS OPEN!! Im going to tell my friends and family who come to Golds to Switch to TRUFIT. TRUFIT gives us straight answers without the lies like Golds Gym.

Gold’s Gym Tierra Este location has the best morning crew 💪🏼 Telissa and Victor are both awesome! Their enthusiastic, welcoming and friendly spirits are so refreshing and a great start to my mornings. Even if it is 0430 in the morning they constantly have a smile on their face and greet you with a “Good Morning”, it always makes my day!

Great gym! Great equipment and a lot of dumbbells (up to 140lbs). A lot of squat racks as well. Victoria at the front desk was great with helping me enrolling and setting up a PT consultation.

So today my first day back at Gold’s Gym to train and work on my goals. The gym is amazing but my trainee Rio is what takes it to another level for me. The energy that he brings is really motivating and make you feel like you can run through a wall. I really recommend him if you are in need of some motivation to reach any of your fitness goals.

Beware of Golds gym contract. They have a claus stating they can change policies at any point. Also, if you have a medical exemption note that Golds does not honor them. They discriminate against people with disabilities. Golds also does not give any refunds for any issue. Again, buyer beware. I wish my family was aware before we paid in full.

Trainer Ish is a great motivator and coach who will help you reach your weightlifting goals. When you have a bad day, trainer Ish will have a training regiment that will have you feeling BEAST MODE at the end of training. Never a negative experience at Golds gym, the facilities are great and staff is helpful and friendly.

Gold’s gym is second to none. Their personal trainers are top notch. I recommend Ish Espinal. He has helped me reach my potential. I’ve lost 25 lbs., put on muscle and gained strength.
