Its a good place for a good workout, just wish they had more free weights, other than that, the fees are really good, the staff is friendly, you dont have anyone looking over your shoulder, trying to tell you how to do your workout. I enjoy my workout time in there.

This particular locations manager took 1.5 hours to show me everything I needed, and to answer all my questions prior to sign up. Never once did she seem annoyed, or rushed the process.

I like Planet Fitness so much, because of the clean and safe place, besides the great employees in the reception. Also the people of the Planet Fitness are so friendly and so humble.I wish all the best for the team if Planet Fitness all around USA.

Clean gym, decent equipment, seemed busier than the app showed, most people where sitting on equipment more than working out on them.

People there are nice but the crowd meter on the app is way off. Also although the gym looks new, some benches and machines are broken and need repair. Also many people screwing around on their phone, taking up space on the machines instead of exercising Not worth the $10 a month to me

The place is way over pact at all times of the day. They are understaffed and causes the employees to be a bit rude when asking for stuff. The trainers are disgusting and groupe women. I wont ever be back. you may have a crowd meter but it is always wrong. You as the owner should maybe look at the crowd meter and then go in and see if its accurate for yourself its always wrong!

I understand there are guidelines upon reopening for the Gyms but why not go above those guidelines for the health of your patrons. For instance, the guidelines not to congregate should be adhered. People on a regular are less than 6 ft apart especially in the weight area. Also, why not have the staff take the temps or even ask the health questions at the door? Or even have the sign with list of symptoms posted in a place where people of all sizes can read it, like right above the door handle in BOLD. People are working out and breathing hard in the facility which leave droplets in the air and the machines why wouldnt the questions and the temp taking be recommended. Also, having Staff several times a day do a mandatory wipe down of all the equipment would be great. Especially when there are 3 staff members on duty one could wipe down each machine. Or maybe every hour or couple of hours have the gym closed for 30 min to do a wipe down and possibly spray Lysol or another air disinfectant in the gym and to let the gym circulate some of the air out. I understand it is the responsibility of the patrons to wipe the machines down but unfortunately it isnt always done even prior to the pandemic. Another thing I noticed, why arent the paper towel dispensers in use? There are several places where the paper towels placed on the trash can. If the idea to have people touch less areas why arent there automated dispenser or even a dispenser being used instead of the trash can. The health and welfare of the patrons should be top priority and with the guidelines becoming more relaxed the chances of spread are becoming greater anything that your staff is willing to do to protect everyone especially the elderly would be appreciated by myself and I am sure many others.

Planet Fitness is absolutely lackluster. I highly suggest you take a tour of it before you commit to any membership and get swindled by advertising like I did. Not a single squat rack in site. ONE piece of equipment to do pull-ups on... You want to bench press? Good luck. Every single barbell in that gym is locked into a smith machine. Aside from the dumbbells, it seems free weight lifting is completely discouraged. C’mon Planet Fitness, step your game up.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. However it is in a very cramped space and no lounge area for black card members.

Had bad experience at this location. The individual at the front counter is rude and the supervisor totally didnt even care about my complaint. Other locations are better. Avoid this one.

Fitness place with several different exercise equipment, free weights, tanning eds, and massage chairs/beds. Just dont go after work because the place gets jam packed.

Its always hot and muggy in this place, I havent even started working out and Im sweaty. Its very uncomfortable and hard to breath while on the treadmill. You can feel all the sweat in the air.

This gym is smaller than the other ones I have been to. They aren’t open during business hours. I did not receive any notification of them being closed. I came at 7am then back at 11am and the business was not open. I called multiple locations around El Paso and nobody answered. From my recollection, the state of Texas is not shut down; so businesses should still be opened to the public.

I just wanna know if this location is closed down or not. I have literally called several times. Also if it is closed why havent I received any emails regarding the close? I dont think its fair honestly to continue to pay for something I cannot use. I am a new member that just joined this month, and if this is how things are ran Im not sure if my membership is worth keeping. L.A fitness is sounding kinda nice right now🤔.

They literally scam you into not being able to cancel your membership.

I called to cancel membership 6 months ago and they never cancelled. Three months later I called because I noticed they were still deducting me. The manager confirmed he cancelled the membership. Three months after that I still see deductions and they said oh yeah we see notes on your call but you never cancelled. The only reason I called was to cancel. The Planet fitness rep said that she could not help me and refused to provide me information to contact customer service or upper management. This place is very shady.

This particular planet fitness is amazing. Its incredibly clean, well organized, and the staff is helpful and friendly as it gets. Im so happy my husband and I joined !

Small fitness center, not really a gym, crowded, wish there was a bench. Its a PF, but even as a PF not as big as others.

Judgement free only if you are not an employee, but if you are an employee at this location you are allowed to judge and criticize the customers. If you want to feel targeted and uncomfortable then choose this location, otherwise avoid. Reporting the criticism will get you nowhere and will make you feel as is you are a rule breaker. SMH. Not recommended. Drive a little further for a more comfortable environment. The Northeast location is wack.

Came here today (Saturday) at 2:14pm where they advertise they’re open from 7am to 7pm, doors are closed shut, no lights on, just the lame music they play! Poor service, horrible communication, I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

Massage machines were very nice. Friendly staff & clean lockerrooms were a plus.

Great place, but I sometimes have to tell the front desk, there some teenagers, talking, with out a mask, and not social distancing.

Wrost place ever the North East location They will single you out and attack you over the smallest things. Then you will report it to the superiors amd it all gets swept under the rug. Over all just avoid this location.

Amazing atmosphere

Well, really like 4.5 stars. Handy location, VERY CLEAN, helpful staff. I wish PF franchise owners would plan the equipment quantities better, but I experience that at all 3 of the locations I use - a sea of treadmills and elliptical that are moderately used but only two of each leg machine and always a wait to use them.

The girl at the front desk, Avery, was so rude to me for wanting to use the restroom at my own gym. When I asked why, she only said they dont sos personal belongings but the other 5 gyms in El Paso let me change in the restrooms even though the locker rooms are closed. Never have I ever been made to feel inadequate in my own gym.

Its the only planet fitness in the northeast. If you want to go after work, I would hold off, thats when everyone goes.Update:Been going here for about a month or so. Even though there is a dress code, its not really enforced. Female Lunks everywhere, like the commercial lol

I am new member to this facility with about 3 months as an active patron. Before becoming a member here I was with Anytime Fitness and will be returning after this month. There are no cycle bikes to do spin training, weekend hours are not conducive for those who do work M-F, and the staff are not helpful, energetic, enthusiastic, or exude the characteristics of staff at other gyms I have been a part of; Just another job mentality. I hope others are having a better experience.

Its a pretty decent gym. I will always hate they PF doesnt have squat racks or bench presses, and wastes lots of space with Smith machines instead. More mats would be great too, they only have four, so theres usually no space for doing core work or push ups. They are better than most gyms about have sufficient amounts of smaller weights.

We need another gym in the NE because this one gets packed. Its slowing down finally after the new year. Its always clean and the equipment is always in working order. I wish they had more trainers but thats just me.

I should’ve edited my review three weeks after my first review. Management took charge and most equipment is working and upholstery is being changed as needed. I love it. The place remains clean and it’s a peaceful environment to work out.

Great place

Nice area. Plenty of parking. Doesnt have as much as equipments to other planet fitnesses I had been to. Gets super packed after 6pm till 10. But I never had an issue finding an available equipment as I follow my routine. However, some equipments I noticed are out for maintenance and takes few days to fix. Also today I waited 10 minutes at the front desk to ask for assistance and no body was there and no one came to help. Then I did my work out and after that I went to the front desk to ask for assistance with using the massage bed but same. No body was there for 10 minutes and another person was there waiting. No staff to be seen around the gym.

The staff is very friendly, the trainer is awesome, the machines are carried, overall, a great gym. There are both machine weights and free weights. O love working out here. And the massage chairs, hydro beds, hydro lines and taking booths are awesome!

Amazing place during the week. Not so much on the weekend. The girl who opens up on sundays doesn’t actually open the door on time. There has been a line out the door at 0730 waiting for her to open the door. The expectation of knowing you are working and should be there on time is apparently not a thing. The excuses change every week but either way it happens way too often. And now after awaiting around for over half an hour we are being told that it won’t open for a long while. She states she shares a key. I understand the purpose of keeping things secure, but if making one extra key is a going to be a “problem” I feel like your priorities for customer service are wrong. I only have issues with this one staff member. The whole reason I joined this gym was because it’s close. Now I’m being told to go to a different planet fitness. I think the manager needs to reevaluate their staff. Even if she did have a key, she was still late getting to the building.

I have been a long time customer of Planet Fitness. Actually since this location opened. I had never had a problem with them until the other day when I went to cancel my membership. They informed me that I had to play $60 to cancel. I thought they didnt have contracts? She very rudely explained that didnt apply to me because I dont have a black card. I guess thats how they get you. Now I have to continue paying for a membership I dont have time to use (I have a toddler and a very busy husband).Everything else about this location is okay but because of this, I will never be back.

Waaaaaay too crowded. They’ve obviously sold too many memberships for this location. If u can only go during peak times... good luck getting the workout in that you wanted. During super slow hours it’s a good gym tho.

Overall not a bad gym, especially considering its only $10ish a month. Depending on the times it can be packed or empty. My two complaints are that they have a female clean the male bathroom even though they have male employees, I wont go into how every time I see her she is either on her phone or working out. Second, with so many employees how is it that paper towels are always either missing or empty from the cleaning stations; theres only about ten how hard is it to keep up with restocking. The staff is very friendly though. As stated, overall not bad at all; one of the better ones Ive used, and I have been to nearly 20 different locations.

Hard to beat what you get for the money. The facility is kept clean and in good repair. I have been a member since they opened and 2 years ago and have seen first hand that equipment is repaired or replaced. The only complaint I have is there tanning booths are not very accommodating to taller patrons. But it’s kept clean and functional.

I highly recommend this fitness center, all the employees I have dealt with have been professional and easy to approach. This is the first time I have ever had a gym membership, and the fitness trainer took time to help me build my program and showed me the proper way to use each machine. The facility is very clean and organized, I would have given 5 stars if they had a steam or sauna room and a Jacuzzi. I absolutely love it and absolutely can not beat the value.

Great place for anyone to start on their exercise goals. The staff has always been friendly and willing to help with any gym related questions. Plenty of gym equipment to choose from, which is constantly maintained, and cool member perks like hydro massage and hair cuts! Definitely a gym to try out.👍

The staff makes it so inviting with friendly demeanor. This has to be one of the most cleanest fitness centers Ive ever been in. Everybody cleans the equipment after theyre done the staff walks around and checks on people theyre just friendly and courteous. Its a very nice gym, friendly staff. Theres a good variety of exercise machines and equipment. TV screens everywhere so you can stay entertained while you exercise. They have lockers for your personal belongings, just bring your own lock. They have water and other beverages for sale to help you keep hydrated.

I went here as a guest. I like it but when we went it was too crowded. We always were waiting for the good weight machines. Membership is cheap which helps!

Love the workers here they are tolerant and dont judge the big guys working out. I forgot my card so much but they always help me out. I recommend going here low monthly payments u get a massage bed and chair or haircut.

Its a nice place. Clean and spacious. Staff is very informative and helpful. I just started going last week. And I already can tell Ill be there for a while. Avoid pizza on Mondays. Its a trick. Nah. Its cool. I avoid it But some of the young, skinny people go to town.

Worst experience I’ve ever had at planet fitness! I used to be a member in Dallas. So far El Paso clubs have let me down, customer service is lacking tremendously. I had an appointment for the make your own program and the trainer was late sat with me for ten minutes told me I had to come back cause he had other clients and then just walked around the gym with no other client in sight and a lunk head personality.

In town for a few days and thanks to the black card I can use the facility with no problems. Nice and clean place. However, there were a few stations that were out of towels to wipe down machines. I had to search for a station that still had towels. Oh and the first planet fitness that I have been in with a barbershop inside.

They need to add more free weights, I know its not a gym but they need to add them, its always packed.

It is a great gym. It would be nice if staff would interact with gym members on how to properly use the equipment. They should have more trainers in each section of the gym . Encouragement of new gym members should be helpfull.

Its pretty busy in the early mornings but plenty of equipment to handle the traffic. The staff is always super friendly and making sure equipment is clean and working. 💪❤

Very upsetting the amount of FEES!!! Dont forget you are on a contract!

At first when we first signed up we were excited to be there. One of the staff members in particularly was extremely nice but I guess to get the membership. When I used the tanning bed they put me in a tanning bed number 2 and while in my season I seen it had 6 broken bulbs. After my tanning session I went to tell the young lady at the front and she responded, oh yeah were aware of that . The manager has already been informed and I dont know when its going to be fixed. Question I have is, if you knew it was broken why would you put me in that one when there was and is another one? Needs to stop worrying about getting people there and then stopping that professional attitude once they get them signed.

Good place overall to work out and the music on Saturday and Sunday is great, the only complaint i have is that some people dont bother wiping down their machine after using it, so staff needs to keep an eye out for that.

Great price with plenty of space and amenities. I workout late at night so it being 24hrs is a plus. Also having the hair stylists on site is great! Would recommend!

First off! I’d like to say for those complaining about the “rules” and other nonsense issues. Find another gym if you are so unhappy! Maybe read up on the facility before enrolling into a membership. There are specific reasons why gallon waters, certain clothing and the lunk alarm exists. It’s not suppose to be like any other gym and if you are looking for that type of place then this is not it! This place is a great and nonjudgmental place.My brother took me here couple months ago and I loved it! I’ve been to various gyms and I’ve never felt judged and no one bothers me when I work out!!! I can actually get a full decent work out unbothered.Planet fitness keep doing your thing! F the haters!

Was with them for over a year. The gym itself is nice. My wife and I liked it a lot. Although, the customer service is terrible. When I Pcs’d from El Paso to Germany I gave them my orders to cancel my membership back in June of 2017. It is now January 2018 and I am still being charged a membership fee of 24.69 every month. I just got off the phone with the manager and she told me they lost my orders and cannot cancel my membership unless I send them my orders again or mail them a letter of account closure. They will not refund my money they have taken from me. So now, I’m still awaiting the general managers call. (It has been over 4 hours) this gym does not care about people. They only care about money. I definitely suggest going to another gym. I wish there was a choice of 0 stars.

I love this gym, especially because its so close to my house. You know what i hate, everyone using the weights, just sit there and on there phones. Also, sooo many people cannot clean the machines. This week i had to clean some, because my OCD got the better of me. Please people, clean after yr self.

The staff should be more consistent at their job instead of picking and choosing what and when they want to enforce rules. Not only did I get stopped at the front desk for having a gallon of water I was told that I was not allowed to have my gym bag on the floor during my routine. Ive been in this gym for two and a halve hours just today and have counted twenty people with either a gym bag or a gallon jug of water. Chelsea, Alehandra, and Carlos where the staff on duty 1 May 2018. Ive been going to this gym for 3 months and have never had an issue like today.

Management staff needs to work on customer service skills. When dealing with an issue on my account they were dismissive, spoke to each other about the issue but never to me. Then when they finally decided to let me know what was going on, they didn’t even speak to ME the ast.mngr and gen.mngr both spoke directly past me to my male GUEST as if I wasn’t there and we werent speaking about MY account. Having worked in customer service for years this entire experience was totally unacceptable.
