They worked on my condenser it needed to be replace, they did an awesome job A/C blows very cold now, job was done in a couple of hours only, I definitely would recommend this place 100%

I took my car in to have my manual transmission fluid drained and refilled. I also ended up getting my inspection done as well. I had a wonderful experience. Rick was professional and did not talk down to me, which happens often in this city since I am female. I will be using them for any future services that I will need.

Rick at the Alameda location is a true professional and always pleasant to interact with. The inspection they do at their shop, along with the link to their site that includes pictures and the details of your vehicle, saved me a lot of time when I later had to file a claim through my insurance.

I waited a couple days before i left this review. Just to see how the car panned out. Im very happy with the work jays did. They replaced the ground wire that has solved all if the electrucal problems. Along with a cracked radiator. Very happy. Would definitely recommend them

My last visit to Jays was for a variety of services (state inspection, belt replacement, radiator flush and a problem with my heater blowing cold air). My vehicle has over 100,000 miles on it. I travel a lot for work, so I try to keep up with the maintenance to make sure my car is running properly and safe. I took my car to Jays because they had great reviews and their customer service was great! They provided me with an Uber ride back home after I dropped off my car. Then I received a text, with a link to a site showing me the status of my car after their inspection (with photos). I was initially told that they might need to keep my car overnight while they waited to get the needed replacement parts. However, I received another text, same day, 40 minutes before closing, that my car was ready! I had to arrange for a ride to go pick up my car, so I called the shop and spoke to Rick, who assured me that he would wait for me. I am happy with the work they did and would gladly recommend Jays Automotive!!

Great shop - friendly service, extremely professional. You receive a full report of your vehicle on the internet before services are performed. The report includes photos of the exterior of your car - so you know they are making sure nothing happens, and photos of any issue that you have. Then you call and let them know which services you would like completed on this visit.

They send you a link with the results from their inspection and from there you can see what they checked and even see a few pictures from things they flagged. After seeing the link, you can decide what youd like for them to work on. Love it!

The service was awesome! I had been looking for a place to change my car s spark plugs. In the dealership they were going to charge me $369 plus the oil change. It was such a ridiculous amount. So, I looked on google for places and reviews. Jays automotive has really good reviews and I took the risk. They obviously did not charge me what the dealership was going to charge me. I got a good deal and very good service, in all the levels. They provided me a courtesy oil change and I was able to do the vehicle inspection there, too. What is better than being able to do all of your car services in one go? Also, they gave me feedback on what is next to do in my car. They do not pressure you at all! They just tell you, we will be here when you are ready. I could not be more satisfied with the service and kindness I received the day of service. You will not regret going to Jays automotive!

I love how professional and honest they are. I found them on Yelp and used them because they had good reviews. The technology they use to estimate my next appointment is very useful and accurate. They help me understand how important it is to keep on top of my maintenance for my car and I feel like Im more educated on what needs to be taken care of and when.

Super awesome service - I mean... amaze-balls!!!I dont often go on these things to review places, but with these guys, I just have to. First off, Johnny was super nice and friendly and offered me coffee, water, or soda & I accepted a diet coke.A little while later, I asked if I could use their restroom and Johnny gave me a key attached to this big wooden block and said that it was outside around the corner. I immediately thought, Ugh! One of those... But... when I got in there it was quite clean, with plenty of soap, tissue & paper towels. And... it didnt smell like an auto shop bathroom either. It actually smelled kind of nice in there.Shortly after, Johnny had to go to lunch, so he introduced me to his son (Michael) who is a firefighter but helps out at the shop when hes not saving the community from fires, and all that. Anyway, he said that Michael would take care of me from there. Michael was super duper nice too.The office area was a very pleasant atmosphere. It was clean, with comfortable seating & relatively fresh-looking paint, etc. I thought it was a little odd that there was an artificial Christmas tree in the corner decorated in red, white & blue, but... Although it was odd, it was kind of nice & endearing too.The TV was playing lots of different things. One of which, I learned a little about where one lives affects which type of battery you need and winter coldness demands one with more crank power, etc.Now... 6 days later, I found out that the inspection form I gave them to fill out for me was the wrong form. So I called back, spoke with Rick and he said to email the correct form, so I did along with the original form.Within a half our, I received an email response from Rick with the correct form filled out. Its so hard to find people in the service industry in this area with this wonderful type of work ethic and customer service.What a pleasant experience!!!!! I highly recommend these guys.

However, I talked to the manager and they were nice enough to wait until I got there and still did my inspection after their regular business hours. Honestly they did right by me.I was in town visiting and had to be gone Monday. I brought in my car Friday for an oil change and they found that my CV was completely cracked and gone. They didnt pull any of that You car is up on the lift, we need to act now garbage. They had it off the lift, clean, and ready to go when they told me. They even showed me the issue.They said they could do it Monday but I needed it earlier. The mechanic came in early on a Saturday to finish my car so I could go leave town. It was fantastic. and done at an excellent price.This isnt the lowest price provider, but they certainly dont charge more than they are worth. You get a trained mechanic at an excellent price.

Stopped by for a quick state vehicle inspection. I was greeted immediately by someone (Jay I think?) and was helped right away. Very professional and polite.

I was a regular customer until today. I went in to have work done, price was somewhat high ($130.00) but like I mentioned before, I was a previous customer (Oil changes - tune ups - inspection stickers, etc).They lost my business/loyalty because they wouldnt offer a labor warranty on replacement of Power Brake Booster and Master Cylinder.They explained that because they were not providing the parts, they couldnt offer me a labor warranty, even thou, the replacement parts were brand new from OReillys Auto Parts. Not even a week of labor warranty!Since the brake job is a serious matter (for driving security), I needed an assurance the the job was going to be done correctly. Im taking my business elsewhere, where I can get a labor warranty assurance!

I enjoyed the updates via text message and allowing me to see what work was being done. Also they called and let me know what work was going to be done and the price before they did it. I researched prices online on how much parts and labor cost for the repair I needed and the price was right on with the fair deal I got on line. I’d return again for future repairs.

I have to say I am very distrusting of mechanics, but my experience with Jays automotive was top notch. The work was done in a reasonable amount of time and the car is running great. I have always done the maintenance on my daughters car. So when I helped her move to El Paso from the Pacific Northwest it was important she found a shop that not only did good work, but can also be trusted. Unfortunately, there are a lot of scammers when it comes to car repair shops. Peace of mind is what we found at Jays Automotive. Rick was very accommodating and helpful when it came to getting my daughters car repaired. His diagnosis was spot on and the repair was done at a fair price. The shop is small but very clean and welcoming. I feel very comfortable recommending Jays Automotive. It is one less thing a father needs to worry about.

BEWARE DO NOT GO HERE!!!I dropped my car off on Thursday morning, Rick took it in and then came back about two hours later and told me it was a A/C blower motor and a resistor that needed to be replaced, at this point I agreed to the job to be fixed at a total cost of 472.00, with parts costing 206, and labor cost 238.00, and taxes made up the rest. I called the shop on Thursday afternoon to see what was the status of the job so far, and the parts had just gotten to the shop at 4 pm, so OK, Rick told me that my car should be ready by Friday mid morning, OK no problem. I called Friday at 12 and turns out the resistor is not working and they had to get another one, and that it had to be overnight ed, now at this point I started to ask about courtesy rental since i have things to do and no car to do it, Rick tells me that he couldnt help us, he doesnt have one, and it clearly states that rentals are available on the pamphlet in the office. At this point Rick also tells me that my car would be ready Saturday before 3 pm at the time they close on Saturday. I am now starting to get kind of angry that such an easy A/C repair job inst getting fixed. I call on Saturday at 2 pm to find out what is going on, and now Rick tells me that my car is blowing hot air, but no cold air, and he will call me back in ten minutes, ten minutes later Rick called and he tells me that my compressor clutch inst engaging and that my compressor has to be fixed at a additional cost of 820.00 so now total of 1292.00. At this point I am so fed up, I tell Rick to put it back together the way it was when i dropped it off on Thursday. I show up at the shop at 330 pm on Saturday and get my keys and then look around under my car, and there is no way any work was ever done, as there is still dust and dirt where they should have been taking parts on and off the car, so in my honest opinion they never once looked at my car and were just jacking up the prices, absolutely ridiculous here. I also looked up the parts on the internet, the blower motor is average price of 70 dollars, the resistor is average price of 45 dollars and the compressor is average price of 140.00, this would be a total 255.00 for parts so i would think labor would be like 300 at most, so a total of 550 dollars by my estimation. This would be 742.00 less than there cost, so you be the judge I think they were just jacking up the prices, I completely blame Rick for this not the techs as I dont think they even looked at my car, I will posting this review all over the internet on every website I can, Thanks but no thanks, Slick Rick.

My car had a brand new defective battery and prior to coming to Jay’s we were told at another shop that it was probably the alternator even though the alternator test came back fine. This shop was nice and professional and took care of us right away by taking another look at the battery. We’ll be going back to Jay’s for all our future automobile needs!

I was passing threw town and needed an oil change. Jays Automotive had 4 1/2 stars with good reviews and he was close.When I walked in he took me right away.The oil change and tire rotation were done in about an hour 15 min as quoted.The only problem was. My RVs tires run 80psi in the rear and 65psi in the front. My RV was driving a little different and the sensor came on telling me to check tore pressure.He forgot to adjust the pressure when he rotated the tires. Other than that everything was good. Another * * * *, 4 1/2 stars

I took my car to Jays to get maintenance and it was fantastic. Everything was done properly and my car runs smoother. I am very happy with Jays Automotives work, this is a place i can trust, I will be returning for any future repairs and/or annual checks. Rick was very helpful went over everything about my car very respectful and professional. State inspection was only $18.95 as well. Overall i am very happy with all the work done on my car and when i picked it up they even cleaned it 😵😀😀 Higly recommended.

Moore, a Texas Ranger, discovered a man holding a concealed palm pistol standing at the El Paso Chamber of Commerce building along the procession route.[28][29] Burnham and Moore captured, disarmed, and arrested the assassin within only a few feet of Taft and Díaz.[30][31]By 1910, the overwhelming number of people in the city were Americans creating a settled environment. However, this period was short-lived as the Mexican Revolution greatly impacted the city, bringing an influx of refugees – and capital – to the bustling boom town. Spanish-language newspapers, theaters, movie houses, and schools were established, many supported by a thriving Mexican refugee middle class. Large numbers of clerics, intellectuals, and businessmen took refuge in the city, particularly between 1913 and 1915. Ultimately, the violence of the Mexican Revolution followed with the large Mexican diaspora which had fled into El Paso. In 1915 and again in 1916 and 1917 various Mexican revolutionary societies planned, staged, and launched violent attacks against both Texans and their political Mexican opponents in El Paso. This state of affairs eventually led to the vast Plan de San Diego which resulted in the murder of 21 white citizens.[32] The subsequent reprisals by local militia soon caused an escalation of violence, wherein it is estimated that approximately 300 Mexicans and Mexican-Americans lost their lives. These actions affected almost every resident of the entire lower Rio Grande Valley, resulting in millions of dollars of losses; the end result of the Plan of San Diego was long-standing enmity between the two racial groups
