Went in for a brake job. Got in before they opened at 7:30 am and was 2nd in line. Was told it would take 1 hour for an inspection. I asked before leaving my vehicle there if I could see prices for brakes and was told they would have to inspect before showing prices (strange how they arent upfront with set prices for vehicles). After 1 hr 45 min I get a call with a quote of over $460 for my front axle only to replace pads, rotors needed replaced and they said I needed to flush my brake fluid (I have a 2016 vehicle, I know the brake fluid doesnt need to be flushed till maybe 10 years) I informed them I can not afford that and to have my vehicle ready for pick up. I arrived at their location 30 minutes after we spoke on the phone to find my vehicle still up on the lift with all 4 of my tires laying on the ground and no employee near my vehicle putting my tires back on. I was told that theyll have it out when someone gets to it. I told them it has been 30 minutes since we spoke and no one is near my vehicle. I was told they have other vehicles to tend to. 10 minutes later I received my vehicle to a total of 40 minutes since I informed them I will not proceed with their services (SMH).In my opinion they are price gouging and making customers wait for no good reason is their specialty. Take your chances if youre a gambler on what type of service you will receive. Good luck and gob bless!

Definitely nicer and more modern to wait for ur vehicle than the older Pep Boys 😉....almost didnt really mind waiting the 1.5+ hours for them to tell me couldnt do my alignment 🙄

Appointment at 9 and I arrived at 8:30 to say theres a 1 hour and a half, decided to leave my car for an oil change n noise coming from the tires then had to call them 3 hours later for update! They cant find the noise so just oil change it is, just too arrive an hour later n mechanic left for lunch n didnt get it done!

I have been taking my car to Brake Masters since I moved to the Northeast side of El Paso. I find that they are honest & stand behind their warranties. Rudy & Josh, along with all other employees, bend over backwards to ensure the work is done proper & within the estimates they give. I would highly recommend this place of business to anyone!

First time at this location usually go to the one on the west side, but had great service, checked my car and gave me their opinion on a couple of things, would definitely go back, very close to home.

Couldnt go to my regular mechanic so I went here. They didnt find the leak but said there had to be one. They listed a bunch of different things that needed replacing to the total of about $1500! I finally got it into my regular mechanic and he said the only thing he found was a clogged radiator. By the way, that wasnt on Brake Masters list! STAY AWAY!

I am so impressed by their customer service! I received a phone call and an offer to reschedule when they had an issue with staffing. Most businesses would have just had me come in anyway. Their honesty saved me HOURS. When I went in for the rescheduled appointment, they worked quickly and efficiently to help me get out in time to pick up my daughter. The gentleman at the front desk - I believe he was the manager - was amazingly patient about answering a few questions I had. Ill definitely be using them from now on!

Went for oil change special. No appointment can get you next Tuesday. Ad says quick oil change. Never going there again.

I wish I could give a zero start. The worst place ever! The mechanics dont know what they are doing. Went in there because my car was making a small thunk noise when I went over bumps and left with my cars engine violently shaking every single time start it and the thunk noise is still there. Went back and told the manager, for which they did offer free labor as long as I bought a part for the suspension. When I picked up my car.... Noise was worse! Manager kicked my husband out of the store because we told them that they did nothing to fix the problem we came in there with. They only made our car worse! They refuse to acknowledge their errors and fix what they broke. Now our car is messed up all thanks to their incompetence. Worst of all, corporate wont respond or do anything about how one of their shops messed up our vehicle. Never go here!!! They will destroy your car!

I was told by Firestone my brakes were shot and needed to be repaired immediately for almost 500 dollars and it was only the front. So I went to brake master for a second opinion they said they do not charge for a diagnostic they check out the brakes and the whole system and found nothing wrong my brakes and all the other parts that could cause a problem with my brakes were good. Thank You Brake Masters you saved me

Have taken my car there a few times and they never seem to fix the problem on the first try. Seem to always have to take it back a second time before problem is fixed. Will not be taking my car back again

If I could give you zero stars, I would. Went to you the first time and you messed up. Went to you a second time and you blew off the problem. Third try I demanded a test drive and you guys actually acknowledge the problem since I was there. You worked on it (free of charge thankfully) and you guys did not fix the problem. What a waste

Rudy and his staff are good workers and have personal integrity, Its difficult to find reputable businesses that allow quality work and reasonable prices. I find it hard to trust anyone but theres a certain level of trust that can be attained with this location. Fast, reliable, convenient, and amiable.

Had my breaks done years ago n i mention im driving from El Paso tx to California. On the way back my passenger front tire almost flew out.

Made an appointment last week for an oil change at 12:00. We sat there waiting and finally were called up at 1:58 saying we were done. Not very quick if you ask me! Will not go back here. I could have taken my car to the Nissan place instead.

Amazing service. Thought I had to pay over 1000 for something and they did their job and figured out the problem and it ended up costing 300$! Super pleased.

Will take advantage of people whom they dont believe are educated on brake systems in vehicles. It will only cost you $550 for 2 brand new REAR rotors on a 3 year old truck with minimal mileage.

After the experiencing the lack of respect and carelessness of my vehicle, I would NOT recommend visiting this establishment. After having work performed there we noticed scratches on the exterior of the vehicle that were not there before. There was also some type of greasy compound left on the inside door panel that faded the leather. I am certain the mechanic did not bother wiping or washing his hands prior to enter/exit the vehicle. Brake fluid was left in the engine bay which could eat away the paint and battery. I also witnessed them rest the tire on the brake rotor. The store manager did nothing to resolve these issues. The district manager attempted if you could call it that, to remove the scratches with something that he called a compound at first then later called it something else. It was obviously some type of wax that did not remove the scratches. Unless you like your car scratched up and grease left on your door and a complete disregard of your vehicle, I would recommend you stay away from here. They are very disrespectful of other peoples property.

We have used this shop for routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes, tire rotation, etc.) and we have been very satisfied. Today, Jerry and his crew went above and beyond. I tried to start my car this morning and the battery was dead. After getting a jump start, I headed straight to brake masters. I had to make it to UTEP for class, and they got me in and out in about 30 minutes. A battery change isnt a big deal, but their concern for me as a customer really made my day--great job!!! After this morning, I know that I can count on them :)

BEWARE!! Do not go to this business. These people scratched my sons car and left a greasy compound all.over the inside of the car door. They refused to take responsibility for their actions. They acted.like they did not care and basically said take it up with management. the manager and assistant district manager were dismissive and disrespectful about my issue which they created. they decided to try and rub some sort of compound on the scratch which did nothing then told him to talk to an attorney since I was not happy they absolutely do not care about customer satisfaction or an interest in providing quality service.they do not care how they do a job they just want ur money.

Back around January of this year I was having some problems with my vehicle. Lot of things are going on I was broke didnt really have very much money. I had to stop a break masters and get my vehicle checked. Now keep in mind that in time I go to a mechanic they usually just want to make money And no matter how simple the problem is most of these mechanics here In El Paso will take you for a ride And light you about what the problem under vehicle is and take you for how ever much they can take you for. The guys here on dire at the break masters looked At my vehicle and saw that it was a simple fix and took care of me and my Suv. I had already been told by other places that it was a huge problem and it turned out to be something very simple and very very inexpensive. This guys save me a ton of money that I really couldnt afford to spend and they were professional courteous kind and very quick with the service. Like I said if you other places had already given me different and different diagnosis on what the problem was. Thats why I keep going to different mechanics because Every time I went to a Different mechanic they were telling me it was a different problem and they were trying to charge me a lot of money. When I went to break masters the guys looked at my truck told me it was a simple problem and a got fix right then and there and I havent had trouble with my truck since. I want to thank those guys At break masters on Dyer street.

Took my brakes to get done ended up needing rotors. Everything was done but they broke a stud off my driver side tire and claimed they didnt do it.

Im here getting my brakes serviced. While waiting in the lobby, I overheard another customer talking to the representative behind the counter. The rep didnt charge the customer because they couldnt service the customers vehicle properly. Instead, the rep gave the customer instructions on where to take his vehicle so that it would be properly taken care of. Thats real customer service and caring about customers. Ill come back just for service like that.

I brought in my 07 Pontiac Grand Prix, my rear brakes needed to be changed. I was worried because Ive never had them replaced and was nervous about being overly charged. Jerry the Asst Mgr was great and was detailed in all that had to be done and what It would cost. Safe to say i was not overly charged and the service was great. The mechanics were professional and I didnt have to wait long. I will be returning soon to replace my front breaks. I went for alignment for my lifted truck it came out bad my tires started rubbing took it back to them only for them to say i need smaller tires for tires that never rubbed or had issues before they touched it..... took it to people who know their job and got it fixed i demand a refund my invoice number is 35411

I have a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL. Took it to them for an alignment. My wife took it the first time. I drove it later that day when I got off of work and it pulled to the right. It pulled harder to the right after their alignment than before we took it in. So I took it in 2 days later on my day off. Told them the issue and the mechanic tried to act like that was normal. The mechanic even drove the vehicle and tried to act like it was fine. I physicallly had to grab the wheel from him while he was driving, straightening the steering wheel and it pulled hard to the right. Then he said he would fix it. About an hour went by and they got the jeep back to me. I drove off and it started pulling to the Left now. I even drove it on the gateway road to find the flatest road I could and make sure it was pulling. And yep it was pulling the the left now. I took it back immediately and asked to speak to the manager. The tech came back right away I told them both it was pulling to the left now. I was frustrated and let them know. They took the jeep again. And I had to wait another couple hours because a truck was getting an alignment in front of me. I get the jeep back. They told me it was taken care of and that they drove it. Then the manager I spoke to earlier tried to blame it on the tires. He said it was driving like that because of the tires. Now he only said that because there were other waiting customers in the waiting room and he wanted them to hear that. So I told him It drove straighter with a straight steering wheel than before brake masters touched it. And it took them 3 times to fix it. What an idiot manager... the tires made it pull to the left, then the tires made it pull to right, yeah the tires did that all by themselves... How stupid... And as soon as I got home the service front axle locker light came on. And it comes on everyday now. It has never come on in the 60000 miles Ive owned that jeep. But after 3 of their alignments it turned on right away. Im never going back to Brake Masters.

DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE. Mechanic did not treat my car with the care everyone deserves. The mechanics and store manager were not professional and were rude and dismissive.

DO NOT use brake masters on Dyer! We went and spent close to $2k and our brakes still squeaked. And they “aligned” our car yet it still pulled to the right. I took it back three times and they said “that’s just the El Paso roads making it pull to the right. We take our time and make sure it’s perfect”. Finally they fixed the alignment “but it was good enough to begin with”. The fourth time I took it to brake masters by At Home and they replaced the brakes because they didn’t fit!!! They asked where I got them done and I told them and they apologized and said that was such an embarrassment to their company. Thank God the other brake masters repaired our breaks because this location was just going to let me drive around with messed up brakes because they refused to admit they messed up.

Had an appointment for an oil change, took them almost 2 hours to do it with no one in there. I get up and ask why it’s taking so long and he goes “ it’s done”. So after all this time. I get called up to pay, I pay and go to my car outside. Walk up to it and there basically detailing my engine, yet again nothing has been said to me yet. Finally after all of this someone comes up to me to tell me what happed. Oil all over the windshield, the side of my car. You think they would have done something about the price or even offered a car wash or something to makes things right. However I will they did go above and beyond the clean the engine and the windshield. I’m never going back to this place for anything, not even air for my tires.

This place is the best place to go to if you need to get your vehicles checked because the service here is really wonderful and they actually take the time out of their day to make sure that you get the care that you need (for your vehicle of course). I also wanted to give a shout-out to Tony, because hell go out of his way to help you out and he wont false diagnose your vehicle like most places does.

Every time before my family and I go out of town I take my vehicle here. I am pleased to say that I have always gotten great customer service. David, Roger and Tony have been very helpful and made me feel like my vehicle is well serviced so my family is safe on the road. I will keep returning and recommend this location to others.

Went in for an oil change, tire rotation, alignment, cabin filter, air filter, wiper blades check, etc etc. I explained that we were all going on a last minute vacation and I simply didnt have the time to do it all. Fernando De La Peña, said no problem. Give him a couple hours and he would have it done. A man of his word. Less than a couple hours later and it was in the front lot. Thanks Fernie. Now I can be at peace knowing it was done.

I had needed to get my rotor turned and it was REALLY busy so they said it would be about an hour. I had no problem with that considering how busy it was so I walked out to my truck. The man at tr he counter came put and said that they could go ahead and take care of it right then! I was very happy about that. The workers there are very nice and very knowledgeable in their jobs. So thank you Brake Masters #222. If and when I need my brakes worked on, I will definitely return there.

Drove from Cruces just to get my car serviced here!!!! I came for an alignment and cam bolt changes. Martin tire on Transmountain was quoting me WRONG by hundreds of dollars 3x. Came with jerry he helped me out so much, explained what was wrong with my car and made me feel good about paying for my car being service since I am a girl and most people take advantage of the lack of knowledge!!

I came in today at 8am for a quick oil change and its now 10:27 and i am still waiting for my car. For being so quick it sure did take forever. Not real satisfied with how long it took for a fast oil change. People who came in after me even got serviced and left before me.

Slow workers, eating burritos at 11am, chatting with coworkers, when it is time to work and get customers out, not act like a chop shop and chill and laugh instead of working. I am a strong believer in working hard for your money and earning it. These guys need some discipline. David the boss just walks with a clip board acting like he is pushing workers when he is doing the opposite.
