It was horrible, theyre ridiculous. I dont suggest anybody have anything to do with Sears anymore.
Victor, the technician was very knowledgeable in identifying the problem and readily fixing it . He also gave great advice on how to care better for my appliances. The service was extremely great!
Fast service. Had to wait a week so they could order parts. You have to pay for initial visit. Kind of pricey but very good work. Im satisfied and happy I can use my washer.
The tech who performed the work would have been rated five stars, but the customer service chat rep who scheduled the call brought down the rating. I specifically indicated during the chat that I needed mulching blades and to make sure the tech knew. Even though he stated he would make a note, he did not and the tech showed up without the blades. This resulted in my tractor being down a week before the tech could return with the blades and install them. The text of the chat that was sent to me is attached.
Two visits, two technicians, both excellent. I was kept advised of schedule. Very careful of site and quickly working.Repair was quite expensive, both parts and labor. Cost versus technician time was very expensive.
They were professional, and fixed the refrigerator, which was still under warranty. Very satisfied with their service.
The repair person NEVER got back to me - He said, he was going to talk to Sears then get back to me-NEVER HAS- I AM STILL WAITING.
The repair person was very on time, pleasant and courteous. But, in the past a thorough inspection and electronic testing were done on all appliances. None of that was done this time. While I think $84.99 value for each of 5 appliances in the past was quite high, I would never had paid that bill for the maintenance service I received.
Technician was not there at the time given by appointment center 1-5pm. Serviced the washer promptly, explained what he was doing and let us know about the product. Very knowledgeable person.
The repairman who came to our home was very polite and very knowledgeable. He got the job done very efficiently and was able to answer all my questions to my satisfaction. Thank you for taking the time to hire this very nice and hard working man. Im old school and am tired of having to deal with know-it-alls who have never been taught to respect their elders.
I could not be more unhappy. Our guaranteed repair failed and flooded our house with a couple hundred gallons of water, a second time! When we scheduled a second repair online, we included reference to the original repair date. But they are charging us for a first repair again because we used a different phone contact number. They said we needed to have talked to a person to schedule this repair, but the entire system is set up with computer voice menus that dont allow you to speak to a person. The guarantee is worth nothing. The customer service is no good at problem solving a simple issue on the spot. At every interaction they will try to upsell you a warranty, too. Every way to take your money at every turn. We have paid about $425 to have a small internal tube reconnected twice. The second visit was supposed to be covered by the first $250 which was 60 days prior. We could probably have a new washer for the total cost but were squeezed twice.
I would rate my experience with this Sears Appliance Repair a 0! The repairman was here on Oct 20 and after finding out why the power would not turn on, I was informed he did not have the part on his truck. The part was ordered and sent to my home for a second 8:00 to 5:00 visit a week later to install the part. I received a call the morning of Oct 28 that I would be the first call on his list and he would be here no later than 10:00 am. He arrived at 10:45 (hardly the first call!) The part was installed, he ran it through a rinse/spin cycle and said it was fixed. My total bill so far was $311.91, which I paid. Two days later, I used my washer and found three buttons on the right side of the control panel did not work. The control panel wiring is what was replaced on my front loader washer. The buttons that had not been hooked up were the pre-wash, second rinse, and cycle signal buttons. I again called Sears Home Service to schedule a third visit to fix my washer and was given 8:00 to 5:00 on Nov 3, which was today. After staying home a third day for this repair, I kept getting emails (at least 3) extending the arrival time until at the end of the day, I got a message that the appointment had been rescheduled for Nov 5, you guessed it, between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm! I then called Sears Home Repair and told them this was completely unacceptable as Nov 5 was completely busy and I had no intention of cancelling a fourth day for the repair person. I have requested a refund (fat chance, I know) so I can get someone else to fix my washer. I have been a Sears customer for as long as I can remember, not only New Mexico but in several other states as well. However, never again!!!
The technician was rude. Not overtly but he was dismissive of my concerns, condecending and curt. He moved my washer/dryer out of its place and removed my drying rack which was on top of it and didnt put anything back. Lastly, after telling me how wrong I was about the problem and how I should leave diagnostics to the experts, he didnt fix the problem! After complaining to Sears, they sent out a Master Technician who - I kid you not! - looked at my LG all in one washer/dryer and said It looks like a washer! and after I explained to him what it was he said Hmmm Ive never seen one before. and got online to look up the product. Then he was unable to find my machine on the internet so he left with a promise of a call back.I have been patient and they have failed to provide the services for which I paid. Not ONE of their technicians was competent.
My only complaint is the amount of time it took to fix my washer. It took two trips and two parts to get it done. First diagnosis and part was not the problem so another part was ordered and another week to get it installed. Two weeks total time.
Really good service and staff
The repair man was very knowledgeable, efficient and thorough. He checked everything on my machine. He listened to my concerns and helped me understand my machine better. I was extremely pleased with the service I received.
The technician did a great job and fortunately was very tenacious in pushing Sears to get the part which Sears said did not exist but it turned out that the part did exist. Good job E2!
The repairman was late but he came. The ordered part was incorrect. Apparently the first repairman misread one of the digits in the part number. The repairman had a replacement part and was able to complete the repair. The dishwasher is working very well.My only recommendation is to tighten the notification system so that the customer knows that the repairman will arrive, although late. Had I left, the time invested in waiting would have been lost.
Our refrigerator broke down on July 13 but a repairman could not come out until 7/25. We had to wait even longer for the parts to become available and then wait until Sept. 5th for the repairman to install them. We paid for the repair but the refrigerator still does not work. Another repairman is scheduled to come to our house on Sept. 12th. By then, we will have been without a refrigerator for almost 2 months. Three separate repairmen have examined the problem and all three have told us that these refrigerators are defective. I am beginning to think that the refrigerator cannot be fixed. The repairmen have been wonderful but the product (refrigerator) may be too defective to fix. We bought the refrigerator because we thought it was a Kenmore. It turns out it is an LG. I cant believe Sears is still selling this refrigerator at their stores.
I bought the service plan for all my appliances. Best choice I made.
It went really well and he got my ice maker fixed. The repair manwas knowledgeable and friendly.
Very professional service. Punctual and timely. Machine works perfectly now.
I love and depend on SEARS for its reliable and fast service. It is a huge reason why I prefer to purchase all my appliances at Sears.
Repairman was very efficient and changed out the broken motor to my refrigerator in a timely manner. He got to my location a little early and was done by the original appointment time! Great customer service.
Really needing a 4.5 right now.. only dissatisfaction was the length of time between making the appt & the actual appt. BUT it is also the very busy holiday season so it is understandable. Guys were friendly enough despite user error, myself & other family members. We even teased them saying that if we knew about all these special tricks than we wouldnt have invested in the washer & dryer that we did. In the end, its truly my fault for not sitting down & having 4 or 5 cups of tea while reading the manual. HA! Thank you guys! Our family is more than happy to have our washer working smoothly again!
Victor the technitian was so great, on time, very profesional, knew what he was doing and explained to us everything He did. We had to change time for the same day, He was very kind to accept our new time, and showed up on time. Kind. Clean, Profesional.
I GOT SAME DAY SERVICE AND ROBERT HAD THE PART TO REPAIR MY DRYER. I WAS VERY HAPPY. THANK YOU ROBERT!
Received great service once repairman got to our house; the only problem is getting through to service people. Sears insists on getting computers to solve problem beforehand; need to speak to a person to explain problems; waste too much time trying to explain to computers what the problem with the appliance is.
Technician was very direct and wasted no time in repairing the dishwasher. Nice to have qualified workers when you need help. Will use them again with no hesitation.
Friendly and fast. Prompt and professional. Took the time to explain everything he did.
Repairman arrived on time and parts were installed in a timely fashion - everything went smoothly.
Had to have my AC serviced. Scheduled for the 20th of March. Around 5:30PM, I get an email saying that my rescheduled appointment is now on the 27th of March, an appointment that I DID NOT REQUEST!! Waited all day on the 27th and the serviceman did not have the right equipment for the job. He said that he would be back on the 28th. No show and no call. Received an email, I have been rescheduled 3 April, not my request!!.Waited all day, again, on the 3rd of April. The first tech did not have the license to work on my unit. (Do not these people talk to each other??) Waited the rest of the day for service. Now keep in mind that the temps have been reaching the high 80s to 90 degrees and I had no AC. Worst team ever. Are they really from Sears??? If I could, it would be a minus three Stars. The repairman looked more like Captain Jack than a professional.Kevin
Fast apt., on time, efficient, friendly, professional, had my parts, now working great. Will defenantly buy service plan again next time, from Sears.
This repair person never showed up, didnt call to say they were coming. The reason Im writing on 9/2/17, is that we left for vacation on 8/17/17 and returned on 8/31/17. This is the 2nd tie Sears has contacted us for an up coming repair appointment and the 2nd time they do not show. This is terrible service that we are getting to repair a Sony TV that under warranty, we are very dissatisfied.
Good job. Nice guy. Price was kind of expensive.
I made an appointment to have my 12-year-old Kitchenaid Superba microwave oven repaired, because the light had gone out several years ago and could only be replaced if the entire double oven was taken out of the wall cabinet, according to what information I could find on the internet. I had found the replacement bulb but couldnt figure out how to remove the unit from the wall, even after watching several videos on the internet. The Sears technician arrived right on time, even though I had been given a four-hour window for him to show up. He was very polite and professional. He was also very knowledgeable and efficient and had the unit out of the cabinet with the new bulb replaced in less than an hour and was even able to replace a screw in the door that had become stripped when I had tried to clean the glass in the microwave door. The cost was about half of what I had expected, based on comments I had read on the internet. I will definitely call Sears again when I need a kitchen major appliance repair in the future.
Helpful and knowledgeable technician. Got right down to business.
Came on time and did a good job. Unfortunately, dryer needed to be replaced, but he did a nice job giving me information.
Good csr but part not in stock.
EXCELLENT tech. Knowledgeable and professional.
I have been your customer for 35 years, they always did a great job.this year sears wanted 600 dollars to renew my service contract,I think i could bye new stuff for that much money.
The technician diagnosed the problem immediately and was able to replace the part timely. I am very satisfied with the results.
The appointment was as promised and the service was great.
Took 6 phone calls and 7mo. to get one part switch out in a microwave that only took 20 minutes and that was included in taking down from under the cabinet. Worst service ever will never buy from sears and never ever purchase a service agreement.
The tech replace the door seal of our cloth washer in a very professional manner.I am glad I called for help as I would not have been able to do the job myself. This was a very wise decision from my part!!!
No one shows up. This is the fourth scheduled appointment that I have waited/wasted the day, only to be stood up.
Our washing machine is only 3 years old; we had repairman out, the washer is still not working properly. Repair bill: $160
The repair man was prompt, well informed about our LG washer, quickly disassembled to the area he felt was the problem, in less than 10 Min. he told us what the problem was, and that he had the repair part on his truck, in a total of 18 min the washer was again functioning, his charge was fair, he was efficient and was in and out in 18 min. Thank you Sears!
Fast service and very courteous repairman
Even though my appt. left me with no heat in my house for over 5 days, the repairman was punctual and was able to do the repair in less than an hour.
After the visit of several different technicians in a month period, my whirlpool still has the same problem.
On time, quick, explained about not blocking return,
Excellent service.!!!
Good service
He showed up on time and did a good job.
The repairman showed up on time and fixed the problem.
The techs are not qualified to repair washing machines. They didnt order the right parts. The lemon GE machine we had was only 4 years old and was fixed repeatedly. Finally just went out and bought a Maytag.
The service was completed to my satisfaction,
This is for an annual inspection of an LG washer and dryer
Very happy with Sears visit
Excellent service
