I can always count on honesty here which is refreshing. A little harder to get in since the pandemic but if you get in early that helps. Great group of folks that greet you with a smile and do great work. The specials they have from time to time are helpful too.

Evans Tires is the best. Prompt service with people who care. After living along Jamacha/Second for the past 15 years Ive never left dissatisfied. I recommend it highly.

I will not return to this location. Good prices, terrible service. The manager made fun of my classic car for having rust on it after I waited 3 hours for tires after they couldnt align my car because they didnt have anyone to put the numbers in the computer.I suggest going to a place with real mechanics instead of computer programmers if you have an older car.

The lady at the desk was very kind and helpful. Although the tires I ordered arrived later than expected, I got the tires and had them put on for a very good price. Ordered yesterday, put on today, pick my car up before closing. Now my car is ready to drive across the states. Thanks a ton to this great tire team.

Typically go to Discount Tires but they were closed and we had a dire situation that couldn’t wait. Evan’s in Rancho San Diego was open and I was very pleased. The gal that helped us was very helpful and clear about all of our options. She went the extra mile and reassured us when they didn’t have our tires in stock. When we picked up the car it was done well and they even cleaned and shined our tires and rims. Excellent service and competitive prices! Very happy and satisfied with their service.

These guys rock! I took my car to the Evan’s Tire on Jackson Dr in la Mesa, and they literally put my tires on the car and that was it. Brought my car here to have it checked and they confirmed that all they did was put the tires on my car. This store is amazing and their workers actually care about satisfying their customers! I will forever return this store and never ever visit Jackson again.

The service was excellent! My tire went flat a couple of blocks away from them and they were able to help me right away. Shari was so polite and her customer service is amazing. I ordered the 37” tires for my truck through Dave. Once the tires arrived at Evans, I dropped my truck off in the morning. When I arrived to pick it up, it had 35’s on it. I told them I ordered 37’s. The lady behind the counter called Dave (the sales man) and handed me the phone. Dave argued with me and said I ordered 35’s because I wanted a smaller tire. He was extremely rude and more or less called me a liar (I had a friend standing next to me when I ordered the tires and he confirmed we never spoke about 35’s) He was matching 4 wheel Parts price for the 37’s but ordered me 35’s ($40 less per tire than 37’s) at the 37 price. He told me he would listen to the recorded conversation and get back to me (because I ordered 35’s according to him). He never got back to me. They had my truck for 3 days and eventually got some 37’s (different brand than what I ordered) and made me pay more than the original agreed upon price……..

WOAH!!!!! thought they did a great job but then turns out a few weeks later one of the nuts for the sway bar was almost off. Yikes. I specifically asked that they torque all the nuts as well.The only way to make this right would be to pay for another alignment at a different location at the very least, not sure I can trust the work anymore. Very dangerous.I specifically took the car In to tighten the bolts and get an alignment checked per the directions on a Rallitek spring lift kit. Tough to make this right - whenever Im around a professional I would expect that the work they do is in accordance with industry standard at the very least and that it definitely does not cause potential for an accident.Not an opinion at all frankly.

I made a 7:30am appointment. I was there at 7:25 at the front door. The Tech got took my car into the shop at 9:45am to do the front end Alignment and was done at 10:05am. My appointment took 2 hours and 35 minutes for a 20 minute job with an appointment. You tell me, would you be happy?The lady at the counter was nice.

Annie was knowledgeable and very helpful. She explained everything to me clearly and I wil be returning to this location for my future service needs. My truck was completed on time and as quoted.

Rancho SD is the best. We take all our cars there for tires and oil changes. Customer service is best.

Came in for an oil change, came out with tire issues. Day after getting my car I drove about 12 miles before my tire pressure warning light came on which seemed odd, especially after getting an oil change at a tire place. Car produced a lot of noise over 40 mph, took it back and they denied there was cabin noise, but said I may have some worn tires. Took it into a dealership 2 weeks later and one of the first things they mentioned was the loud noise, and with the age of my car they said I should not be having tire problems. Seems a bit too coincidental that I started having tire issues a day after taking my car in to evans, and after trusting evans for years with installing tires on my last car, I would not take it back for any service. Dont know why they messed with my tires in the first place when I came in for an oil change.

I have been taking my two daughter’s car’s to Evans Tire Center from the time they started driving, I trust Evans Tires will keep them both safe on the road. This visit we had both girls cars in for tires and service work, we could not be more satisfied with the working relationship we have made with JJ and his staff. Highly recommend this Evens Tire Store in El Cajon, Calif.

I love the place but it was probably less expensive to just buy 2 then put the deL on it buy one get one they should have been honest.

Awful customer service. Unrealistic wait time for tire replacement, oil change, and rotation. Took them almost 11 hours to do complete and didn’t even bother giving me a courtesy call to let me know they were running late. Dropped off my car a 7:30am and they said it would be ready before 5pm. 4:30pm came around and no phone call, so I contacted them and was told they had not even taken my car in for service, then have the nerve to cop an attitude at me for getting upset. It got to the point I told them to forget doing the service I’m going somewhere else. Do not do anything to my car. I went to go pick it up and after I told them not I saw my car on the lift. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!! Manager is rude and so are the workers.

Excellent customer service. Called to confirm my tire size was in stock to get the 2 for 2 deal in the last day it was available. Learned my tire size is not a normal size in stock. So, the gentleman I spoke with ordered them for me and gave me the deal even though I couldn’t get the installed until the tires were received the following day! On day of install, I dropped off my car and everything went well, to include notifying me of a severe alignment issue that they fixed for me. Great place every time I go! Very rude lady at the front desk. When the mechanic was test driving my car for the issue he spun the tires and was driving like crazy I caught it on my dash cam. Aftet all this they werent able to fix my issue with the car which is covered under warranty. Avoid this place at all costs.Update: I have sent customer service emails but they dont answer. They only did this for show.

They are kind. Their customer service is the best and are not your typical tire/mechanic spot that will do whatever to take your money. They answer your questions and tell you the issues, letting you decide. Be prepared to leave your car. Sometimes they dont have a full team from what I hear, especially during the pandemic. They are not an in and out service but I wouldnt take my car anywhere else. They take care of me.

The team working the counter here really knows their business well. Theyre friendly and helpful so I will certainly go back. The only shortcoming of my experience with them was that they werent able to install tires on beadlock wheels. Still five stars though since not even the off-road shops in the area will touch beadlocks. Theyre even cheaper than discount

I always wonder if the work was actually getting done ? Today I numbered my tires before a tire rotation, the only tires that were switch were the drivers side. That tells me my breaks were not inspected. I was charged for a lug nut, but was not asked. Not what I expected after 10 years of going to this evens tires.

I would not recommend this place. I had an appointment for 1000 to get 4 tired put on my truck. They didn’t even begin to work on my truck until 1120. From there they didn’t finish my truck until 245! I was there for almost 5 hours! There was absolutely no hustle in anyone working there and it seemed like most of them were more worried about taking smoke breaks than working on people vehicles.

Very positive experience with Evans tire #30. This store worked as a team. My tires showed up a day late, but Annie kept her salesmans word and got my truck serviced as soon as I arrived.

Highly Recommended. This is me and my wife’s go to for anything related to tires, shocks, struts, all that. Service is on point and the workers are more than courteous and helpful. I always feel liked my vehicles are taken care of here.

I had a terrible experience at this tire service center I had a 8am appointment for an oil change and alignment. My car wasnt done until 4:30pm when they closed. I drove my car home and it was smoking and leaking oil everywhere. I called them back and they said they were closed and I need to have it towed in on Monday and they would fix it no charge. I had it towed back on Monday and it turned out that they didnt seal the oil filter. So, I had to use a tow and had no use of my vehicle for 3 days and had to drive there 4 times for an oil change! And on top of that, no compensation until I asked them. I understand that people make mistakes, but the blatant disregard for my time and inconvenience really made me mad!! That was my first time going to that location and I will not be back i dont recommend them.

Very clean facility. Front desk person was very helpful. She was very knowledgeable and helped me get in and out. My car runs amazing again! Tires and alignment needed. They inspected my vehicle thoroughly. Thumbs up and highly recommend you visiting them!

Art and his crew were very helpful and took great care of me and my car. They were able to install 4 tires, alignment, oil change, and 2 new wipers at the end of the day when they could have asked me to come back the next day so they could have closed shop. And this was the level of service given to a brand new customer...who will now be a repeat customer.

I came in to Evans Tires as a first time customer and I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised. I had made the mistake of doing business with Discount Tires previously and had a very bad experience when they sold me a set of the wrong size tires but they only 2 so they put on the 2 and said come back when they get the others, so I go back and they still didnt have them so I went to Evans Tires to see if they could help me. Had My Car for 5 hours and DID NOTHING, was late to get my son from school and watched as everyone smoked cigarettes in the parking lot but yet nothing was done to my car, they told me 3 hours MAX, at 10 am, called at 1 pm was told one more hour, then decided to come after 2 hours and my car was just being pulled in and nothing had been done!!!! They still insisted that I paid them for labor for switching my tires last minute, but I requested a full service rotation, alignment, oil change and all. I left with none of that done. 5 hours is plenty of time when the parking lot is empty and employees are taking smoke breaks. Unprofessional, unethical, and pathetic place of business👎🏻

I wish I could give less than one star. I arrived early for my appointment to have my tires changed. Over an hour and a half later, my car still hadnt been worked on. Apparently, I was scheduled for a time slot but the equipment needed to perform my service wasnt available for over an hour after I arrived. This location seems to have very bad time management. I would not recommend service there. I hope other locations are better at customer service.

I had the worst experience here. I dropped my car off at 9am and didn’t get it back until 8pm. The customer service here seems non existence in this location as soon as you walk in you are completely ignored by the lady at the desk as she rambles on the phone. On top of that my car battery died while it was at Evanstires some how and when I went to ask for someone to restart my battery no one came out for 20 mins, I went back in the store and asked if anyone was going to jump my car and the man Julio seemed completely bothered that he had to come out and give me a jump. As I drove off my low pressure sign came on in my car because they did not properly feel the new tires I just bought to the psi amount of 35. So now I have to take my car to another location to make sure it was handled properly. This was my first time at Evanstires Please get it together. A lot of people referred me to this company but I was extremely disappointed everything that could go wrong did.

Couldn’t have been happier with the service here. I took my Nissan GT-R to get new wheels and tires mounted and balanced and such, which normally you wouldn’t want such a high end car at one of these places, but I had a flat and they were the closest to me. The manager and the tech made me feel comfortable leaving my car there and I could trust it was in good hands. They went over the top to help me out and everything went extremely smooth! I would definitely recommend this Evans Tires location to anyone with a more expensive car that needs larger wheels and tires fitted. 20x10.5 with 285/35/20 all around and not a scratch on any wheel! The staff at the El Cajon location on Jamacha have been really great. I’ve had mixed luck with tires I’ve purchased for my Lexus SUV and have not had any other service here,-the price for an oil change was fairly expensive compared to Luxury Import or Beeline where I was last for other work as well. This week the corporation cancelled staff, Which is affecting appt and wait times so I advise checking shortly before an appt on timeliness.
