We have our wedding at Mirage Banquet Hall and Danashekar Subbiah has been great help from beginning March to meet with us until day of our wedding. He provided us tour of the hall at our time and we were please with the location. We felt like family and he made sure all the request were meet as far as table, chairs, stages, and silverware. We had selected that date for our wedding and Danashekar had called us and checked up on us to make sure if we need anything additional as our wedding date was coming closer. I would definitely all my family friend to book the Mirage Banquet hall for their weddings, parties, and special events. The hall is very spacious for large parties and decoration was beautifully done also.Thank Mirage Banquet hall for everything.

My step parents hosted our wedding reception there, food was really good, decors, sound system, venue, everything was really great.I would suggest that the management makes sure there is always someone at the coat check, nothing would have prevented someone to come and steal all the wallets ...

Attended a wedding here in May 2021. Almost everything was 5 stars. The hall was beautiful and clean. The food was fantastic. The service was prompt.The only reason Im giving 2 stars is because the ladies bathroom was closed for the entire event. This alone ruined the entire experience. Mirage serves Halal food--they know their clients are Muslims who practice hijab and separation of genders. Redirecting women to the mens room (which the men were activily using!) is simply UNACCEPTABLE for any Muslim and non-muslim events!!! I couldnt use the restroom, my mom couldnt, several other ladies couldnt because of the presence of men. We didnt even have a place to freshen up in privacy. A working womens restroom is such a basic necessity, so I do not recommend this venue to any future patrons.

Ive had multiple events here now - baby showers, sweet 16s, birthday parties, and its been a blast. the management is great to work with and the space is large so can host a really solid amount of people. Food is also great! Will continue to use

We hosted our wedding reception at Mirage and all I can say is that the team did an outstanding job! Subhash was incredible from the point I met him until the end of the night. He helped us create our menu which was delicious, meticulously went through every point of detail I had asked for, made sure on the night that me and my husband had all the food and enough of it. He also ensured that everything was collected and put away at the end of the night. He did so much more but I am sure you can see how impressed we were. He went above and beyond to make this very special for us and our guests had such a great time.

Mirage Banquet Hall did an absolutely amazing job for my engagement party! The set-up was flawless and their attention for detail was very appreciated. The food was AMAZING. I can not thank the managers and staff enough for all their efforts in ensuring this was a very special night for me and an amazing party for my guests.

It was good. The catering arrangements were done properly to avoid queues. Few dishes like pasta and mix veg could have been better.

This is a Banquet Hall. I have been there several times to attend dinner meetings. The guests are generally older – around 70. They have no place to sit during cocktail hour at the lobby, outside the Hall. Since they do not have enough space, they should open the Banquet Hall from the beginning.Food and drinks are good, but service could be better, and they have tendency to start food late. Plenty of parking.

We visited here for a year end bash. Was extremely cramped and the food wasnt very fresh. The ambience was okay. Children didnt have much to do. Dont think Ill be recommending this place in a hurry.

Good place for get-together upto 250 people. Food could had been better.

They oversold tickets for new year party, over crowded, ignorant bar attendants, bad food arrangements, and to top it all very rude security guard who man handled me without any reason. I could smell alcohol in his breath. Place was so overcrowded that it was impossible to walk. Probably they violated fire dept and township rules. Township should investigate. Overall very badly managed event at exorbitant price. Will never visit again.

My daughters rice ceremony was held last week and I cannot say enough of the great service provided by Susan and Sekhar. Everything - starting from the table covers, decorations and individual requirements of food were handled carefully and professionally. I am so glad we chose to have our function at the mirage and without a doubt recommend it to any friends. Great job Susan and Sekhar!

We hosted our 25th Wedding Anniversary at Mirage Banquet Hall in March 2014. I normally don’t write reviews but I felt that this place deserves one. We worked mainly with the General Manager of Mirage, Mr Shekhar, and he was very professional and thorough. At the party, everything was done in a professional manner; food quality, quantity, service, all other arrangements were excellent. The staff took good care of every little detail; they made sure that everything was taken care of. Our guests got personal attention from the staff. All our guests (there were around 100 of them) had lots of fun and they provided lot of positive feedback about the place, food and arrangement.The only thing that disappointed us a little was their winding down process towards the end; our time was from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm but the staff started to close down around 3:30 – 3:45 which was little disappointing. Overall, we would definitely recommend this place to friends/family.

Hello, this is one of the rare reviews i write for anything. i thought this person needs some advertising and be more known to the world.After relentless search for a venue for my sons first birthday, we happen to run into Shekhar, whole and sole manager for Mirage banquet hall, what a find!i checked him and the place online, i found 3 reviews all positive. After we met him in person and many times following that, he proved more promising than the reviews.he was compassionate about his job, very professional, courteous each time we met him, he is the kind of people we need in hospitality business!Mirage is considerably more expensive than few other options around that area, but, there is NO comparison in the food or service. The place was elegant, top notch, and food was excellent. I heard from each one of over 100 guests we had what a great party it was. You want to throw a good memorable party or some party. I highly Recommend to consider and check out Mirage/Mogul and Sekhar if you are planning a party in Edison, NJ area.Thank you Shekhar, keep up the good work.

Came to this party hoping for some fun but had the worst time of my life in New Year party hosted by Dj Majic Mike, occupancy more than permitted and bouncer was very dominant, wouldnt even let you dance.

Worst experience of my life, I think the bookings exceeded the legally allowed occupancy and this bouncer made life hell for us on the new year party. It was sheer dictatorship, please dont waste your money in this party.

The nightmare was waiting to happen with these people at Mirage banquet. I was celebrating the first birthday of my daughter in September 2021. As a host I was there at 5:30pm for an event to start at 6:30As soon as I entered I felt the uneasiness and upon asking I found out from the manager that AC was not working as one phase was down The washroom lights were not working too and there were small candles in it. 45 mins later manager came through again and said nothing has improved so far. At almost 7 they started placing pedestral fans in the hall. It looked like I was in a village and all the decoration I had paid almost 750 dollars for looked like in vain. In 2 hours from then the lights went out all of a sudden.. Like all of them ans it was dark.. Thank god the cake cutting was done already. All the guests were drenching in sweat and DJ could only be played for 15 mins before that went off too.At 9:45 the guests quickly had to take the dinner which was served cold. It was all dark by the way so everyone was just helping themselves.All in all it was the worst event that I ever hosted and thanks to Mirage banquet for this unforgettable memoryWho so ever is reading this post here comes the cherry on top. The management after ruining the whole show asked for the payment which was settled at 50%I honestly thought they should have paid me back as an acknowledgement of their apology for ruining the day where I had imagined to have much more fun and create memories with family and friends.A note for the Owner - Who so ever he or she isYou should have had some courtesy to call me or at least dropping an email with an apology which you clearly owed me and my family.Will never recommend the unprofessional people like you to anyone. You should be sued in the court of lawAll the people out there save your money and never ever plan to have your event here.
