I would highly recommend Tri City! I ran over a few nails and it can be really challenging to find time to get car work done with my busy work/life schedule. Id been going to Tri-City for routine maintenance and was happy with the service, but the other day when my car broke down unexpectedly is when their excellent customer service really shined through! Jennifer had an immediate plan to get my car to the shop, me in a nice loaner so I was only an hour late to work, and a diagnosis before lunch. She kept me updated every step of the way to help relieve my anxiety. Likewise, Tom was professional and emmpathetic to what was a unexpected expense at an inopportune time. No high pressure, just honest answers and detailed choices. I honestly felt like it was my extended family helping me out (my extended family does own a repair shop out of state) and it was very reassuring to know I could put my full trust into this team of experts. Broke down on the highway on our way home from a trip at night. Got it towed here and they called right away in the am to let me know what was wrong and some options to fix it. It was the alternator and they gave me a fair price, had it fixed well before noon! Even gave us 3 coupons to use if we ever needed another tow, gas brought to us or anything! $100 off each. Never got anything like that from anywhere else before! Thank you!

I have been using tri city auto for the past few years. Just recently they also did the inspection on my Ford f 250. The service has always been outstanding. I am confident that everytime I bring my vehicle in for service I will receive an honest, good faith estimate and diagnosis of my vehicles issues. We all hate surprises when we take our cars in for service...but sometimes they happen. You think an issue is gonna cost a couple hundred bucks and it turns out being something more and costing triple. The last thing you want to feel is that you are being taken advantage of, overcharged, or having needless repairs being done. Tri City has always treated me well and been honest about necessary repairs and service. I know this because I barely see them...when something goes wrong they fix it right...no coming back, no missed diagnosis, no mistakes. I highly recommend them!

I am a repeat customer. When I discovered a nail in a tire, I called made an appointment. I was promptly seen and the work completed on time. I felt confident leaving on my road trip there next day.The staff wore masks, the check-in and payment stations had plastic shields in place. I am giving 4 stars, rather than 5, because I saw two clients enter the store without masks.I will use them again.

I have been a Tri-City customer for over 10 years and have always had excellent service. By chance a problem is not fixed, they will continue to work to resolve the issue. I have always felt that they provide an honest evaluation of my car issues and recommend what must be repaired versus what would be nice to correct but does not affect the functioning of my older vehicle. It is especially nice to have access to a loaner vehicle (or shuttle service) since I am a one-vehicle household and need transportation. Also, knowing they are a Christian business makes me know that all dealings are honest, and they are trustworthy.

Helped me out by finding a creative solution to my problem. I didnt need the problem to be 100% fixed, I just needed the car to be safe and functional again and they were able to accommodate that at a low price. Really appreciate their flexibility, and the car is now running great!

Just bought a set of tires from Tire City Auto on 5/5/20. Ryan Zweck was very professional in providing me a quote and then following up with me throughout the process. The tires I ordered were delayed by a day and they provided me a loaner vehicle to use for 1-2 days until the tires came in and were installed. Also, they were very attentive to the cleanliness of my vehicle as well as the loaner vehicle they provided me by following wipe down procedures for my safety. Great job and I highly recommend Tri-City Auto.

Outstanding....sons truck broke down on the way back to Michigan and had it towed to TriCity on recommendation of Lees Towing. They worked hard over several days to find and fix the issue and kept me well advised of the progress. Being from out of town was concerned they had me as I could not shop price however they were extremely fair. Wish all businesses operated with such fair transparency. Would highly recommend anyone in the area to check this place out for tires or repairs.....I am positive you will be satisfied

I had 95k services for my 2011 Prius at one of the Toyota dealers in RTP. The service guy told me the timing chain tensioner needed to be replaced with a quote of $3059 ($125 for part and $2681 for labor). Glad I came to the Tri-City Auto Care for a second opinion (I found them through repairpal). Everyone at the Tri-City Auto was so friendly and professional. Jennifer and the guy at the front desk (sorry I forgot his name) are awesome. Ken, the owner, even took the time to take me to the garage and showed me where the problems were. It turned out not only the timing chain tensioner was defective and the crank sensor needed to be replaced. I ended up pay $600 to get everything fixed, which was one fifth of the cost of a Toyota dealer. I know where I would go for future services!

Smack in the middle of the Covid-19 crisis, my car inspection was due. Tri City got me in fast, was throrough and respectful, and made suggestions without being pushy when I declined. Because I already knew some things needed to be done for routine maintenance, I appreciate that nothing unnecessary was suggested and have since scheduled to get my regular maintenance there next week.

If you dont need a loaner car, they can take you where you need to be dropped off at until repairs are done, saved one uber ride here. I have been with Tri-City for a year and have been very pleased with their service and prices. I had an appointment today and due to them being short staffed for the day, my car hadn’t been looked at when I arrived to pick it up. The owner personally called me, apologized profusely, and offered to do the work I needed for free at my convenience. Mistakes happen and things don’t go as planned, but they really care about their customers and if something is wrong, they will make it right.

I have been using Tri-City Auto Care for almost 5 years -- on three different cars. They were highly recommended to us when we moved to Durham, and the recommendation was spot on. In 53 years of driving and maintaining cars, Tri-City is one of the two best auto services I have had -- and they just nose out the other to be #1 in my book. Why? First, exceptional staff, from the owner (Ken) to the Service Manager (Tony), to the mechanics they are top notch. They dont push unnecessary services -- they explain clearly what is needed but also separate out safety and mandatory servicing from elective maintenance. They do great work, are reliable, and stand behind their work -- fixing it without charge or fuss if necessary (a rare event). Bottom line -- this is a wonderful place to have service done on your cars. Highly recommended!

Tri-City was highly recommended to me by a coworker who lives in Durham. I live in Raleigh so Tri-City was not convenient. However Tri-City gave me a loaner car which was not expected which made TriCity convenient. I didnt need Uber or a ride from anyone. That was a huge plus! My car have AC issues blowing hot air. I told them upfront that Fred Anderson diagnosed the same problem by charging the system and telling me I need a AC compressor. TriCity gave me the impression they could locate and repair the leak. I was told the compressor is good so I thought great! The AC cooled for about a week. I took the car back and they needed to diagnose the car again. They told me the AC system is not leaking but that I needed an compressor and HV inverter, $4200 with a waived 2nd diagnostic fee. I opted to pay the 2nd diagnostic fee and not fix the car.Tri-City was more expensive than Fred Anderson dealership in diagnostic fees and the estimate was more expensive for TriCity to repair the AC system. $3500 at Fred AndersonThe people behind the counter were friendly and pleasant. The loaner cars was a great unexpected bonus. The downside was the two diagnostic fees for the same problem. Secondly the repair cost estimate was greater than the dealership when historically the dealership is higher than independants.Tri-City did me no wrong, they are on the high side. Maybe the loaner car expense is factored in the repair and is not free?PK
