What a super nice family business! Lilli (the mother) really took her time and did an awesome job on my pedicure. She was polite and attentive and the price was great! The other customers in the shop were obviously repeat customers, as they were all very friendly and knew each others names. Love that! Great place. They are trying (in their spare time) to do a bit of remodeling, but they stay so busy so its been a challenge to finish. Highly recommend this sweet little family run business.

Just got back from my first time at Happy Nails and I will most definitely return. The salon was quite and clean and proper Covid protocol was in place.The staff were all wearing masks and stations were well distanced. The prices were reasonable and the the result was great. I would recommend Happy Nails

Absolutely horrible selection of polish to choose from. Weird colors and the better colors had been obviously thinned.The owner did my manicure and she was good, I used clear on my fingers. The older man who did my pedicure was rude, pulled my foot around in an angry fashion. He did a poor job all around and dropped a tool on the floor and didn’t clean it. The color was so bad I immediately came home and changed it.

He was fast but didnt actually do much. Painted my nails. You couldnt even tell that I got a .pedicure. Will not return or recommend. Waste of time and money

Just what we were looking for. Unassuming, uncomplicated, quick, and professional. VIP Nails was overbooked and a bit pretentious, so we gave Happy Nails a go. 👍👍

I have gone here on and off as I am local, but after this experience…. Never again. The gentleman acted like he was in a hurry, did not use clean tools and used small scissors to clean under my nails and of course it hurt!! He cracked a couple of my nails in the process and repaired them very poorly. Then wanted me to pay cash, and got annoyed when I said I needed to pay with a card. Very disappointed in this experience and they lost a customer.

Sad to report that Happy Nails was not abiding by current state law that requires customers to wear masks. There were three 20-somethings all clustered around one nail chair without masks, and the business wanted me to sit in the next chair. I declined to do so until the three left. HN said they could not ask their customers to wear masks; they MUST do so and are in violation of state law by not doing so. Another 50+ year-old woman at a nail station was also not wearing a mask, but at least she was about 10 from me. The employees were wearing masks but my gal only had one finger covered on each hand in what looked like an old finger of a glove. There were no indications on capacity inside (were currently supposed to be at 50% capacity), and no indication of any increased ventilation. Ive been going there for several years but will not be returning. They seem to be nice people and they do a decent job, but I do NOT feel safe there.

Dirty place, but good nails!

I came in and got a full set of acrylics with matte black polish. After they finished, the polish kind of bubbled. I called back later that day and explained it and they got me in the next day. They re-did my polish for free and the lady thanked me for letting her know and coming in. I had a great experience and I will totally come again

Amazing staff! I had an appointment elsewhere the day before my wedding to have my nails done and the owner/workers of the other salon never showed up! Happy nails was able to get me in last minute as well as 4 other women who were with me - and they did an amazing job. So grateful to them! A true life (nail) saver!

I just went there to get a full set of acrylic.. and wow!! Lin did the most AMAZING job on my nails! In fact these are the best nails I’ve ever gotten done in the 14 years of me getting my nails done!! She pampered me I felt so so good in her hands!! Beautiful clean shop! Her and her daughter gave incredible service!! I’m used to paying an outrageous amount for poorly done nails but she was amazing, best prices & the best nails!! My hands finally look the pictures I take in to show what I want!! I’m going back tomorrow for a pedicure! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOU WANT TO BE BLOWN AWAY!!!

So dropped my lady off here to get a mani and pedi, a hour later I return to pay for it and it’s pretty crowded. 8 customers, and 3 employees. 5 of the 8 weren’t wearing masks and the lady started screaming at me that I needed a mask. I pointed at the other customers and asked her, what about them? Then she charged me 100 for a mani pedi for the work. I didn’t see a sign with pricing so Im assuming they make up their own prices...idk.

The most horrible experience I’ve had at a nail salon. I got a fill because VIP was booked ! Never again will I go back here . There were holes and bubbles and the fill didn’t even cover my nail . I went in on a Saturday . The woman rushed through my nails and I was rushed out the door. Monday morning for my work interview they were so bad and it was just horrible ! I went to show the owner who was horribly rude. I gave her a chance to fix the issue and she said it was normal ! If you want a bad nail job with rude customer service then this is your place . Honestly wish I could post pictures because it is beyond frustrating. Now I’m going to pay for another fill a day later to correct the mistake !! Single mom with three kids ! Thanks for the rip off you whack jobs !!

I absolutely LOVE my nails! Very clean, professional, and amazing customer service. I am a license cosmetologist and am key on cleanliness as I know what is expected and they met my expectations. I will be going back from now on and will recommend everyone there. Thank you for such an amazing experience.

So I came back to visit and they have completely had an overhaul and it is beautifully clean and very welcoming. I am so happy. The pedicure I got was Beautiful and the massage was amazing. Please if you have had a bad experience let them fix it now. Much better all around. I promise you wont be disappointed!!!!

I am from out of town so I rely heavily on google reviews. so when I was looking for a pedicure in Durango, I went to the google reviews. They didn’t appear too bad for Happy Nails, so I made an appointment. My nail tech, (a man), gave me the impression he would rather be anywhere on earth but doing my pedicure.He was rough doing my cuticles and I could tell he had made a cutcle bleed and his response was to immediately put my foot back in the tub of water. Not what you want. I pulled it out and showed him he had nipped it and it was only then that he put on some antiseptic spray so it would quit bleeding. Of course by then it had already been put back in the tub of water that I could only hope had been sterilized from the previous client.I would NOT recommend this place.

OMG!! I AM so happy with happy nails..I been through 4 different nail salons since relocating here 2018 and FINALLY!!LYNN took care of my pedicure and her husband my manicure...I did make an appointment and was glad they had time for me.Conversation was good with Lynn ( sorry if I am spelling name incorrectly) but she made me feel comfortable and definitely will keep my next appointment...Be sure to shedule an appointment although walk ins are welcomed...Just dont get upset if you have to wait a little longer than told...They are worth it!It is Father,Mother and daughter only...I appreciate their hard work to get to where they are .....

I’m not from Durango but I came with my husband and needed my nails done and had the worst experience! I asked for coffin shaped acrylics and they came out uneven and not did not look right and when I told her something about it she tried to blame it on my natural nails and told me “they look fine to me”. Not to mention they don’t wax! What nail salon doesn’t wax!? Seriously!!!! Worst $45 spent!!!

Im new to Durango and am very picky about my nails. After calling some of the higher star places and none of them could get me in same day, I decided to give this place a try, even though I was nervous because there was not very many good reviews.They got me in same day and did a quick and great job on my full set. Not sure of the ladies name who did mine but she was an older lady, she did great :)

I asked the lady to do a cool Fourth of July look, and she went beyond expectations, me and my sister were so impressed!

No very nice she was verry ruff with me she was poping off my nails and got mad and she almost cut my finger she went out to the back to play with her dogs and she dident tell me and then there was dog fur in my nails and there where a bunch of bubbles on my nail I found recomend this place

This is ran by a single mom and her son and daughter. They are very friendly and try hard to not keep people waiting. I got a nice gel manicure there.

Usually they do a great job but I got gel nails and they are horrible never going there again not worth the money at all. Ill be going to vip next time. Very disappointed.

Got right in on a walk in, and the place is vented nicely so the smell was perfect! Nail tech was friendly and efficient. Will come back, and woukd recommendr for sure!

My fiancee got her pedi done here. She was not satisfied with her experience there and left her sitting there with no word. Someone finally realised she was being ignored. I was paying attention on what they were charging. Everyone was being charged $30 and she got charged $25. They all got the same treatment as her. They charged her regular price while everyone else that wasnt paying attention got charged extra.

Even though they were nice, my Polish is shipped 3 days later and I gave 30, and it was supposed to be gel nails

HORRIBLE PLACE TO GO! Worst pedicure I have ever received in my life! Not only did the man clip my toe nails at a angle to get ingrown toenails on my big toes but he did the worst French manicure I have EVER seen in my life!

Absolutely the worst place to go. Dirty, unprofessional and the worst polish job imaginable! Come on people, it was POLISH and you couldnt get it right. Dont waste your money.

Nasty outdated shop. I got acrylics with white tips. White streaks all through pink part. Tips are crooked and uneven. Then he charge me 50$ for the worst manicure I have ever had.
