I called this morning to ask if the office accepted my insurance. The receptionist Andrea picked up the phone and greeted me. As I am asking her my question she just hangs up while I am speaking. I call again and I was able to get my question out this time. She says they do accept my insurance but not for new patients. That does not make any sense to me. I think she just wanted me off the phone and not deal with me. I did not give any reason to be treated rudely.

Honest, caring, knowledgeable dentists and staff. Highly recommend. The prices are fair. Great customer service. I have done crowns, fillings and dental cleaning.

Nukoa Family is such a nice place that you forget you’re at the dentist. From the secretary to the high hygienist, the dentist and the manager, every one there is so friendly, professional, kind, and nice that they make you feel good about going to the dentist. I had the best experience today with my cleaning and tooth cavity. Dr. Claudia has amazing hands she is super gentle when she put my anesthesia. I didn’t feel it. Also Dr. Ruth, did an amazing job cleaning. Sandra is super friendly, helping the Doctors. And Andrea always diligent with her customer service. AMAZING I’m happy I had found such a great place with professionals and amazing human beings.

My Experience with Dr. Hernandez has been positive. The staff along with Dr. Hernandez are polite and very professional. Short wait time, office always clean, and Dr. Hernandez listens to my concerns and answers all of my questions. I am very pleased with his practice and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Great staff. I had to have three fillings last year (after being 6 years without health insurance) and, while that experience is never going to be exactly fun or strictly painless, the team at Nukoa was efficient and good to work with and I got through it with a minimum of discomfort. We like them so much that even after we moved out of the area, we kept them as our dentists.

Keep up the good work Nukoa. I will visit anytime, the service is great and the place is clean, if not then I would not went there. I love to be in a place like the dentist and dont have to be worried that they are using the same equipment on every body else that would freak me out. So I can say, so far so good.

My experience in the office was good, but their website is extremely out of date. As such, I had trouble booking my appointment initially and I found out during my visit that they no longer offer the service I was seeking, which was advertised on their website. I was however treated very kindly and referred to a specialist for the service I need.

Their dental equipment is very clean. Their prices were very fair. The level of care you get for the price is outstanding. They stayed open past their closing time when my veneer (done somewhere else) fell off and needed immediate care. Dr. Hernandez is very professional and knowledgeable. Everyone in the office really goes above and beyond to make me feel special.

Never again. Arrived for my appointment 10 minutes early so I could fill out new patient forms. I came in for a filling and had the X-rays from my previous dentist (in Miami) sent over to Nukoa a week prior to my appointment. I left work early only to be told they did not receive the X-rays and no longer had time to see me. (Should that not have been verified prior to my appointment) The dentist came out to receive me and when she saw me on the phone with my dentist she gave me a dirty look and immediately called the next patient. The receptionist then comes over to let me know they dont have time to see me. Rude, inconsiderate, and completely unprofessional.

I made appointments with a month prior... they canceled my appointments just the day before 😡😡😡😡. I lost wages cause I requested the day off Just to be there. I happened so many times. That is very outrageous and disconsiderated from Nukoa dental. I spoke before to the lady with patients relation manager and she told that wasn’t occurred again ... but it did. They should reimbursed me for lost of time at work.!!! The worst.... they keep harassing me by phone, text messages and emails.... saying that my daughter cleaning is overdue 😠😖 the nerve of these people 🤢🤮🤮. They don’t respect my appointments cause my daughter doesn’t represent them much money since she has Medicaid.... then, they should be removed from this providers list cause they don’t care about patients... they just want to serve who represents them a lot money. Greedy Nukoa Dental.

I have to say that this is probably the best dentist office that I have ever been to. The staff is very friendly. The hygienist was very thorough, didnt feel rushed and explained everything in detail. Would recommend to family and friends.

Reposting because it didn’t publish before. This is the best place to go to have an appointment. The prices are a little high but it’s worth every penny. Location is easily accessible and great family environment. Staff is friendly and Dr. Urrego is amazing! Definitely will be going back for my treatments. And the staff speaks Spanish!
