Horrific experience here that ended with me leaving with globs of wax stuck in my hair and on my skin. This was my first time trying sugaring so I was unsure of what to expect and the esthetician, Kiley, assured me that even though I had coarser, thicker hair that I was still an appropriate candidate for the sugaring hair removal. She also told me that sugaring was supposed to be less painful than a traditional wax and the results were supposed to last longer.Id scheduled originally for a sugar Brazilian but Kiley decided to switch to a hard wax mid-way through because the sugaring became less effective in certain areas. I was asked to clean the remaining sugar off of myself (which was painful, and I saw and felt my hair breaking off in the process) before she continued with the hard wax .However, the hard wax never cooled enough (Kiley said the room was too hot because the AC hadnt fully kicked in and I was too nervous and in too much pain which made the room/my body hotter???) for the strip to be pulled so it was yanked off bit by bit until she gave up and attempted to use oil and scissors to get the wax off of me! Despite saying she only had a total of two more strips before we were done, Kiley applied copious amounts of more wax to me and made me endure the same treatment for countless more minutes. After nearly an hour of incredibly uncomfortable silence and pain, she finally gave up and told me to clean the rest off at home because my skin was to angry and irritated to continue. I asked if I could use some of her oil to at least loosen some of the wax and while I was doing that she told me she would comp the service and offered me a free facial which I declined.I will absolutely not be returning to this esthetician for any service and urge anyone interested in sugaring to avoid this place at all cost!
