After 40 years of trying different yoga classes I found Kara Lough. As a teacher of yoga none match her expertise and caring. Even got my husband to come! No one is ever intimidated in her classes and she has such a grasp of body mechanics --and can communicate it--even I can follow!
Ive called, texted, emailed, and even used fb to try to reach someone at this studio. Its been weeks and still no one has contacted me back...
Atmosphere.Low lighting, use of essential oils, warmth, Karas voice.And the length. The 75 minute class allows for a much needed savasana at the end. It did not feel rushed. I left feeling both energized and relaxed. ☺️
Very accommodating! I forgot my mat and they were very gracious in lending me a sanitized one! 🙏
If you go here take a Sha BAM Class from Hannah!!!!! 10/10 best thing I ever did! Then i took her body pump class and got my membership! 100% convinced! She makes classes fun, and there’s never judgement ever! I have knee issues sometimes and she gives different solutions with out making you feel left out. She creates a wonderful environment sometimes she uses fun lights to make it even more fun! The only issues I’ve had are with emailing.... they aren’t very responsive to emails but if you email a few times it works out! ❤️
I attended a livestream class this morning and it was one of the best I’ve tried so far!The instructor had great energy and was engaging (pretty hard for most at 6:45AM) ! The audio and visual quality was excellent and I got a great at home work out in before my toddler woke up. I feel ready to take on my week. I will definitely be taking advantage of their virtual membership!
Absolutely love coming to PAI Yoga & Fitness. TRX with Ulli & Rich and Yoga with Kara are my favorite classes. Such an amazing gym with owners who truly care about their members. They have been so flexible and accommodating during the pandemic and I so appreciate the Virtual & Live Stream class options! Thank you for all you do!
First time, fairly in shape, first spin class & I loved it! I took Spin Core w/Haleigh; she patiently set me up on the bike before class. She was high energy the whole time! It was easy to tailor her routine to my fitness level & her song choices kept things interesting. The core exercises are the perfect end to the class. You won’t be disappointed!

Ive been going to PAI for a while now and every class I go to is challenging, the instructors are welcoming and demonstrate high expertise, and its just fun! The management team (Amy in particular) are extremely kind and I really appreciate this company as a whole. I love Karas yoga classes especially - she goes above and beyond to create such a serene and peaceful environment and always makes me look at the world in a new way. Kara at PAI is an inspiration and makes me feel confident and at ease in my practice. For years I avoided yoga because I was embarrassed at my lack of flexibility. Kara reminds me that it isnt about perfection -- its about the journey. The yoga and meditation class has been extremely helpful for me in my daily life, and Im grateful to be able to take this time out of my busy week to focus on the connection between my body and mind.

We were greeted promptly at the door by an employee who welcomed us warmly, signed us in and introduced us to the instructor Julie, who was also very welcoming and warm. She instructed the activities exceptionally, making it a very enjoyable first experience. It was very enjoyable, transformative and therapeutic. My only constructive criticism is that the cost of membership may be beyond what my wife and I can afford and I wish there was a more cost-effective solution
The space was calming and felt brand new (not to mention the studio is conveniently located off of sawmill by Trader Joe’s). The instructor was very kind and explained each move and provided some great info on yin but we also had plenty of silence to hold our poses! I will definitely be back again for a relaxing mid week yin class and highly recommend others go to recharge.
When I walked in the door I wasn’t sure what to do or where to go (and i was a little nervous as I think most people are going somewhere new by themselves) but I just simply asked the other girls in there and they jumped up to help me instantly! I can’t remember her name but one woman walked me right over to the spin room and introduced me to the spin instructor (which I appreciated much more than someone just pointing and saying “over there”). Erin was a WONDERFUL spin instructor. It was my first time in a spin class and she got me all set up, explained the general layout of the next hour and assured me it’s okay to be a little slower or even faster - however I’m comfortable. The class was fantastic. I had such a great workout! Then after the class Erin stayed and made sure I got signed up and even spoke with me regarding other classes offered and explaining how those go. I’m excited to come back and try out more classes. The whole atmosphere feels very welcoming and not competitive with those around you which is exactly what I’m looking for!
I love all of the classes--My favorite instructor is Olga. Shes so sincere and really wants to help. I started going there in late December of 2018 and feel like I have learned so much and am less stressed. Olga is amazing!I really like Colleen, Sara and Hollys classes too. You are all so great!I like that classes are offered at all sorts of times.
Yess......love you. To be honest, Kara is my favorite instructor. She knows the importance of true traditional regular yoga, deep breathing, and connecting the mind, body, and spirit. I love all the instructors though. You guys are amazing. Also, power yoga is another one of my favorites.
I came to Pai Yoga 2 months ago after going through 6 months of cancer treatment and 3 surgeries. The experience at Pai has been transformational for me both physically and mentally - surpassing limits I never thought I could. The teachers are absolutely phenomenal and I cannot recommend Pai enough to family and friends.
My dad loves this studio, and I went with him for a free trial class when I was home. The instructor Katie was very welcoming and constructive, and I also loved how she encouraged us to do whatever we wanted/needed while still providing guidance. Would definitely recommend!

I absolutely love PAI! They have a great selection of classes and times and every teacher I have been to is amazing! I love PAI yoga. Kara is my favorite, but I have never been disappointed with a sub. I appreciate and enjoy the variety. I am just starting shabam and like that too!
I am still new to PAI but have had an incredible experience with them. I did a drop in class and loved it so I began a monthly unlimited membership (which is given at a SUPER discounted price for the first month). The first week I was to start I came down with the flu and had to cancel any classes I signed up for. The people at PAI were incredibly understanding and lovely. They changed my membership start date just so I could take full advantage of their deal. I may not have much experience with them yet, but you can guess that I am definitely not going anywhere else!!
This is THE yoga studio to practice your yoga. Since the first time I stepped foot into the studio, I felt peace. The teachers are so wonderful, well-trained and warm. PAI offers TRX and spinning but yoga is my passion. The owner, Chan and her staff truly appreciate the members. We have gatherings, parties and discussions. Very friendly staff and nice facility. The instructor was well informed and so pleasant. Loved the blankets, blocks and straps that you had on hand. The overall experience was wonderful!
Just moved to Columbus from Nashville and this is the BEST yoga studio I have ever been to! They do a fantastic job of making it a spiritual practice and you will leave feeling uplifted for your day. They also do a wonderful job of encouraging you to stay safe, but also experiment and push yourself to try harder poses. It is worth every penny!

I like the quality and professionalism of the yoga instructors, and in particular I appreciate how they integrate mind-body-spirit in their yoga teaching. I have also taken some terrific workshops, including one on learning how to meditate and one on Thai yoga massage. In fact, I would be VERY interested in follow-up classes or continuing ed for the yoga massage!
I love Pai yoga.The instructors are ALL great--- highly qualified and make you feel comfortable and welcome. The studio is clean and beautiful.There are morning, mid-day, afternoon and evening classes.I am happy to have found a new yoga home!
The ease of scheduling and customer service is great! The sign in process, security of your personal items and welcome by staff members is all fantastic too. I highly recommend the slow flow and power yoga classes!

As a beginning yoga student, it is sometimes difficult to find classes specifically for beginners. Or if a studio offers a fundamental class, its not at a convenient time.I appreciate that Pai offers the Basics flow classes at times that fit my schedule. I also wanted to say what a great teacher Kara is.

I have gone to PAI for years. The energy in the yoga studio is wonderful. There are so many classes, all with great, caring instructors. Its a special community place to connect, learn and be healthy.

Ive been attending classes at PAI with my girlfriend for nearly one year now, normally Friday mornings at 5:30 and Tuesday evenings at 6:00. The classes are wonderful and the instructors are friendly and approachable. I would definitely recommend PAI to anyone looking for a wholesome yoga experience.
Ive practiced yoga at several different yoga studios throughout Columbus, but I had never joined a studio until finding PAI about one year ago. PAI is unique in that it offers a variety of classes from yoga to spinning to TRX to Barre. PAI has created a warm and welcoming environment which is supportive to people of all ages, novice and experienced yogis. The instructors are knowledgeable and helpful.
I emailed the studio with specific questions as to if I could take a trial class and what beginner class they would recommend. The response i received was to view the classes online with no specific direction. I gave details as to my situation and they were non chalant and would not give me any information in writing. DO NOT TRUST THIS ORGANIZATION!
Holly’s slow burn class this morning was intensely relaxing and stretched my hamstrings to a new place. She incorporated the heart chakra bowl vibration into the savasana which cleared my mind from everything. This kind of class is why I started practicing 20 years ago.

Loved it...she kept it simple for my first time, yet allowed the more seasoned members do their own pace and movements. Very nice soothing voice, music, and the room was toasty on a cold night!

I have been going to PAI for a little over a year and a half. I have fallen in love with the practice of yoga simply because of this studio!!! The staff is approachable, and make you feel welcome every time (whether it is your first time, or your 100th time). PAI really is a judgement free zone!This studio is the ENTIRE package!!!!

I came across PAI through a groupon in 2010 and have never stopped coming - the TRX and Yoga classes are amazing! Both the TRX and yoga environments are challenging without being intimidating or competitive. However, what really makes the classes, and PAI, great are the incredible instructors and staff. All the instructors are amazing at motivating and challenging you to reach your health and fitness goals. I would highly recommend PAI who is looking to shake up their fitness routine.

Pai has great yoga instructors for all levels of practice. Their TRX Instructor, Quincy is top notch. I have been involved with Pai from their humble beginnings through to their expansion into two locations. Although I have heard great things about their Gahanna location, I attend the Dublin location exclusively. If you are thinking of attending yoga or TRX classes, this is by far one of the best places to go.

I have been going to PAI since it opened and absolutely love the place. I am a runner and right now I primarily use PAI for the TRX training. TRX is a great way to build total core strength and doing it weekly has definitely led me to have improved strength and core, which has in turn made me faster. When I can, I also attend Yoga and Spinning and have not found a better studio in town. The Yoga and Spinning facilities are great and the instructors are top notch. I also like how the yoga instructors provide feedback during class for beginners like me. The bikes for spinning are in great shape and the facility doesnt feel cramped (a problem I often find at other studios). Also if you want a little bit of everything, they have combo classes (TRX/Spinning, TRX/yoga).
The only problem with Pai is that it isnt two feet behind my back door so that I can walk over several times a day instead of once. :) I enjoy being a member, and am grateful for the unique approach to fitness that Pai crafts. Unlike a traditional yoga studio, Pai also offers some of the best trx and fitness classes around. But the yoga classes thankfully dont feel like fitness or gym yoga--they are as rooted in the discipline and structure of traditional yoga as any other yoga studio designed to use yoga to help in all parts of your life, not just your mat. Pai employs high quality, excellent instructors with a wide variety of strengths, so that you are able to find a type of yoga or trx class that works for you personally based on the strengths of the instructor. I am a yogi that runs, so I love both the fabulous and perfectly challenging trx classes provided by Kristen to make me a better runner and athlete, and I adore Chan and Michaels excellent yoga classes too, where I can continue my lifelong pursuit of staying on my mat every darn week. PAI is a GREAT place to Change Your Body & Your Mind.They offer a myriad of Class Types and Options from Yoga to Cycle and TRX to Combo Classes Cycle/TRX, TRX/Yoga, TRX/Kettle Bell and the list goes On!PAI also offers several Level of classes from Beginner & Intermediate with TRX to Beginner and Power Level 1/2 with the Yoga Classes. Yoga also has options for temperature from Heated to HOT depending upon the class type. I have also heard that Restorative classes may be just around the corner.To continue with Options & Variety, PAI has classes that start Before the Sun Comes up to Well after the Sun Goes Down!The price of the classes are very reasonable when you purchase a class pack if you can only come once a week, however, they offer so many classes that I would suggest the Monthly pass to come to as many classes as you can fit into your schedule. IF you are new to PAI they have a VERY reasonable First Timer option. I first found PAI thru a Groupon Class Pack and have never looked back! I moved to the Monthly come ALL the time pass. PAI offers Specials every now and again and I take advantage of those too.The Instructors as PAI are THE BEST in the city! Based on my schedule, I take classes from Chan, Kara, Charles, Lara, Bethany, and Michael. I get a Great Physical Workout and my Mind gets one too!The Studio is Clean, Offers cubes for you belongings, Restrooms/Changing Room, and supplies like bolsters, blankets, straps, and blocks.The Studio offers many items for sale like mats, towels, tops, jewelry, and books as well as a Loaner Library.Finally, PAI also offers weekend workshops on a variety of topics as well as specific areas to focus on improving your practice. PAI also offers Certification Programs.The ONLY thing that PAI does not offer.......................Showers!
