Crystal was absolutely wonderful! She was so understanding and willing to accommodate my child who has a hard time with haircuts. His cut was perfect and exactly what I wanted . I’m so thankful to have found her. 5 stars isn’t nearly enough.

Recently moved to the area and very happy I found Barbery, I will only be getting my haircut here as long as their doors stay open!It’s nice to get a haircut and not feel like just another person in the chair. The little extra time they put into every haircut goes a long way.

Ive been using this place for years. For every bad review theres 500 amazing ones for a reason..Perhaps its the people leaving the review and no the barbers. Ive had my haircut by every stylist here and all of them go above and beyond. Wouldnt recommend any other place for a haircut. 10 stars if I could. Keep up the good work!

This barber shop is great. Professional, on time, happy staff, and my barber did a great job, at a reasonable cost. I will become a regular customer. You can make same day appointments or 1 day before appointments. My cut only took 15 minutes. I love small local business success.

Mens hair cut. Ryan gave an outstanding, professional old school haircut. His style is reminiscent of the type of hair cuts I grew up getting and during my 35 years of military service as a paratrooper and Special Forces soldier/operator. Clean, not too short, tappered and professional.

I moved to the Destin area around September of 2018 and needed somewhere friendly and consistent. Barbery coast is the best! Crystal always cuts my hair perfectly and greets me with a friendly smile and a hug. Kelly is also extremely polite and professional and both girls are fantastic with people. If you want consistency and friendly service, than this is your place, but book in advance and don’t walk in because they are extremely popular and often fully booked! (1/2) worst haircut experience Ive ever had. If the older lady is anywhere near the chair youre supposed to sit it RUN OUT THE DOOR. She wont hesitate to tell you its your fault she cannot care, much less produce a nice haircut. And then she wont hesitate to charge you $22 a cut and expect a tip when you were clearly AND audibly unhappy with EVERY piece of the haircut. Please make sure the older lady does not get anywhere near your head if you care about yourself.(2/2) after PAYING for the butchery on top of my head, I asked the younger lady if she had a chance to try to fix the atrocity atop of my head. She did her best, producing something a 2 year old would be very happy with. The damage had already been done. 5 stars for the younger lady.If you expect A nice haircut for the nice haircut price you pay, you are mistaken, cancel your appt.Highly recommended for everyone who loves wearing a hat every day

Love this place. So glad we found it. Been using them for about 2 years now. Not only do Kelly and Crystal always seem to be able to get my son in with his busy band and high school schedule but they always listen and accommodate a 15 year old boy with his choice of hair style each time. Never a disappointment.

Great location. Cozy shop with cool, down to earth staff. Called in and they accommodated me without any issues. I called ahead for a next day appointment. Arrived early and they were already expecting me and took me on right then and there. I’m fairly picky with my haircuts, especially when it comes to a fade. Crystal is the nice and talented barber who gave me a stellar fade. She was precise, efficient and clearly skilled at her craft. Can’t fail to mention friendly and outgoing. Price is on point. Kelly and Crystal do an outstanding job. Call for an appointment, be flexible, and be on time - theres a lot of men who get their hair cut here and if youre late, Kelly doesnt hold up all the rest of the clients. Like most places, if you are late your appointment gets moved to later in the day (looking at you, Mr. One-star reviewer who thinks that the rest of us should have to wait on your inconsiderate butt because you cant find your way to a place of business that is literally on Main Street smack-dab in the middle of Destin, smh). This barbershop is popular for a reason. They are open on Saturdays, too. Great place, great haircuts, reasonable prices.

THE best in the business! Locals taking care of business in Destin for a while...great legacy....great shop(look around at the cool items they have) and I would recommend any one there to do the job. I looked for a good barbershop shortly after moving to Destin seven years ago and I am so glad I made my first appointment at Barbery Coast. Kelly is my preferred barber and we like to catch up every 2-3 weeks as she cuts my hair. I always call ahead for an appointment to ensure I can get in and out in the shortest amount of time. After taking over ownership Kelly spruced up the shop and now offers coffee and bottled water while you wait. The shop is always clean and well air-conditioned. I have always been happy with my cut and with their outgoing pleasant atmosphere. You wont go wrong by calling and making an appointment with Barbery Coast.

The best place Ive gotten a haircut and beard trim ever. My local barber isnt as good as these ladies. I travel all the time and have gotten many haircuts on the road. The Barbery Coast is my number on choice for haircuts. Kelly and the ladies are friendly and talented barbers. They maintain efficiency while providing consistently great cuts everytime. Great cuts for a good price and they give military and first responder discounts.

In the past, I tried all the coupon/chain barbershops in Destin. Now, I wont go anywhere but Barbary Coast. Kelly and the staff consistently give great haircuts in a laid back local atmosphere with easy access and parking. If you havent tried Barbary Coast, youre missing out.

Kelly and her staff are great, they have that old time Barbershop feel but more modern. Kelly has cut my hair for more than 10 years and Ive gone to other places thinking anyone can cut hair just twice and had to come back to have Kelly fix the mess that the other person made on my hair with my tail between the legs. As long as she is running Barbery Coast in Destin she has a client for life.

My husband and my son have always had their haircuts in this shop and weve been always satisfied with service but recently had an AWFUL EXPERIENCE. THE LADY WHO I HAVE NEVER SEEN THERE BEFORE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE WITH ME AND MY 2 YEAR OLD SON. I WISH I KNEW HER NAME. WE WALKED OUT WITHOUT HAIRCUT AND WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT PLACE AGAIN. Excellent barber shop! Wish I could take this place home with me to Memphis! I took my nephew with me to get our hair cut before having family photos made. We told the ladies what we wanted, and they knew exactly how to do it. Had my beard trimmed too. I cant recommend this place enough.

By far the best and most authentic barbershop in Destin. After getting my hair butchered right before my wedding at Sports Clips Kelly was able to fix it for my big day. Luckily at this shop every girl is great so don’t hesitate to try anyone. The shop also has great parking and super clean with that vintage barbershop feel. We’re very lucky to have this gem in Destin!

HORRIBLE - Stay away - Set appt for two at 10:15am. GPS said we would be 6 mins late. Called to give Kelly the heads up. She was extremely rude and told me it would have to be 11:30 now. I said “I have to wait an hour because I’m running few mins behind?” She said yes then hung up. I would never ever suggest giving them a penny of my money.

My wife noticed the barber pole hanging off the end unit of the small strip of offices. I remembered she said something so I decided I would get my cut there. Its near the house and it is local. I am SO happy I made that decision to stop there! What a great experience! Everyone was unbelievably nice, felt very welcome. I dont require much for a hair cut just some clippers and shave it off, but she took her time cleaned it up very nicely. Had nice conversation with all of the barbers, best experience of customer service in a LONG TIME especially in Destin! I highly recommend Barbery Coast for your next hair cut!!
