Hours to get through gate, ask for a requisition number that they need but the paperwork isnt enough holding things up even longer. Come here with plenty of time.

This place sucks they have had my trailer since Wednesday its Friday and still waiting for unload.

Be care for owner operators this guys here hold your trailer wherever time they want. Mine have 4 days already and still loaded. No respect at all for you.

Working these dedicated accounts is a love hate relationship. Very disorganized and will hose you at the first chance they get. They have no problem using your driver services but when you work late the previous shift and cannot return to your early morning start they charge you with coming in late. Good paychecks but very unreliable and untrustworthy management. Find yourself a better option, Ill never work for them again!

Supervisors, Managers and leads are the best. Constantly on top of things and constantly shifting gears. SWUIIISSSHHH! Tired just thinking about it.

This is for The NFI lowes dc at 501 w. Daineldale, Desoto TexasI wouldnt recommend working here as a forklift tech. If youre a lift technician take this advice seriously Ive been around the industry for nearly 20 years.

Dont really know too much about this company but as far as I know you guys sont give people chances, and your hiring people doe only 3 to 4 weeks when your company needs to tell the people you hire are temporary !!!!!

The gate people are nice and friendly but once on-site dont expect anyone to be polite or care. I was scheduled to be there at 10am CST. I arrived on time. Checked in at gate approximately at 1002am CST. Was directed to check in at door 61. I get in there and sign in at 1020am CST. Employees at window took paperwork signed off on gate pass and told me to wait they had no docks available. Lmao. I passed at least a dozen docks open when I came in. Smh. After 20mins a guy tells me to go wait in my truck and come check back in with him in 10 mins. I do that and was given door 70 which not only has a trailer in it but a driver blocking it so the yarddog cannot move it. All said and done I finally got in this dock at 1110am CST. And didnt get empty until after 1pm CST. Slow, rude, and no respect for drivers!

Im s truck driver was in and out quick friendly people and my empty trailer was clean A+ if its your first time entrance is not on danieldale its on old hickory trail its in the back corner of the building

Worst company for unloading

This is the second time I pick up here. I thought perhaps they were have a bad night the first time, but again the same thing. Lack of organization and bad communication between broker and warehouse and guard shack. No one knows what they are doing they simply let you figure it out on your own.

Me and my wife make a living by driving a truck together we work for Mesa Valley Transportation and this is one of their customers so far everyone that Ive met at this place is very respectful always asking if we need help or any directions the security guard at the front means that this Distributing Company protects their product probably so they can pass the savings on to you the customer thank you and if i distributors for helping put food on our table

Be aware truckers ..they do not allow animals or passengers you must bored you pet at the clinic and drop you non cdl/employees off somewhere in the town like Wal-Mart and if you are real drivers they make the co-driver get out of sleeper birth and get out of the truck which is against the law but they dont care security gets in trucks to make sure no one or nothing is in the sleeper, they took 6 hours to load us so me as co-driver lost 6 hours of sleeper time

Loads are never ready on time

Currently:NFI Desoto is a WarZone. The management is horribly considered. Imagine your enemy leading you to victory. The Human Resources department push their own agenda and the morality of the people is overlooked. This is not a company I would refer anyone with a plan to consider. If and when you see something wrong, and report it to HR, you then become a target. Human Resources does not uphold discretion, it’s a messy environment. Leadership does not follow any rules, and they do not uphold the Mission Statement of the company. Why you may ask? Because there are children giving positions to revenge themselves. Grown ups come to work for the mission of the company and their personal drive to succeed. Children come to work to play, to mate and to cause confusion. Well that is the atmosphere of NFI Desoto. I came in with a five year plan with the company and that plan was rearranged due to the environment. There is fraudulent activity taking place inside of NFI, Im sure the books will reflect most of the damage. There are millions of dollars leaving the building unsecured. There are good people being let go to cover up the mess, then the people that are suppose to be the source of the company turn the blind eye. Position hoping to secure their wrong. In my personal opinion they want last long.What would have made it worthwhile is if you were not overlooked for the work you do. I received a raise and the management on that shift just gave me what he wanted me to have. I set up a meeting to express my concern about him not knowing my job title, or the details of the knowledge I consumed with little training. I was training others. During this meeting with two form of leadership. I then inform them of what I do, how I do it, and then ask them how can you just grade me off your knowledge of what you assume. He states that it is what it is and there is no changing that. I then explained in further detail about how can you judge a person that you don’t even know, I’ve been in the building for two years now, and I’m well informed on the work I supply to the company. What did it, is when he stated “you just want people to know you can read and write very well”, wow yes I said and I comprehend that you do understand common sense, I swallowed my pride, and that insult.Managers and supervisors do and say what they want to employees. They do not respect others and look down upon the employees. Most of the Managers and most of the supervisors are all in this click of friends. They promote who they can control. Nothing at NFI Desoto is Equal or Fair for the employees.

Very impolite people, for loads the expect that you know everything about that, they don’t explain the process you spend your time waiting for noting until you realize that something is wrong, and what happened is that the guard did not tell you instructions to check in just gave me a door number to drop trailer and that’s it, and then I did not get the load cuz I have to go to another door to do check in again, people not helpful at all you have to guess what you have to do on yard

Nfi as a company has great opportunities for anyone that wants employment but the Desoto branch is the worst of all Nfi Facilities. There management team is below avarge an they don’t care for there employees. They will not put the rite people in the rite positions due to the fact that they can’t control you. If your not willing to be a puppet or a yes man/ woman they will not recommend you for an higher up position. I don’t see this branch being up an running for long. There’s no loyalty. If your considering being apart of the Nfi team please do not apply for the Desoto Nfi you will not enjoy your time there!
