Jenny’s attitude has, after 23 years, turned me away from their business and has pushed me to become a customer elsewhere knowing that I will be treated with kindness and respect. Tony and Henry have always been very polite and kind to me whenever I would go there and I am very sad that after 23 years I will no longer see them.I called to make an appointment for a pedicure this Saturday with Henry and a filling with Jenny, which I was looking forward to. Henry has always done great work, is very kind, and treats me like a good friend. I then received a call two days later from Jenny saying that Henry is on vacation until Monday, so he is unable to do the pedicure. I asked Jenny if she would be able to do my pedicure in addition to the filling. She was EXTREMELY rude to me and stated that she would not take me, she is booked up and that there is NOTHING that I can do for you and then abruptly hung up the phone. I was very disturbed by this and called back to see why she did that. I asked, very calmly “Why do you talk to me like this? Are you trying to get rid of me?” to which she shouted “YES” and then hung up the phone again. I was very saddened by this and tried calling back later just to clear the air. She will not pick up my phone calls or respond to my texts, so I will not be going there ever again.Tony, if you are reading this, I will miss going to your shop to see you and Henry, but Jenny left me no choice but to leave as she told me flat out that she doesn’t make any money from me. Is that really how you treat your customers after 23 years? I once considered Jenny a friend and hoped that she would understand that I take care of my grandchildren now, so I don’t have as much time to come as often as before. Again, nothing against you Tony. You are a very kind person. Thank you for all that you have done over the past 23 years.

I asked the lady to apply the ombre technique on my nails. I showed her a picture! My nails are natural so I didnt need tips, except in just one nail. I just wanted the acrylic on top of my nails. She said yes, but that in that specific technique, it cost $ 50. I said ok. the result was awful. She had no idea how to do the technique! You guys can say you dont know how to do it and is ok, and theres no problem! Don’t pretend to pleased everyone. And for the ladys or ppl who are reading the reviews before go this place please. Do your OMBRÉ NAILS in another place!

Before I walked in the salon. There was a nice man sitting outside and said please put your mask on before you walk in I said sure no problem. When I walked in there was a piece of paper with a pen for signing in but I got yelled at! She yelled and said go wash your hands. I’m not a pass I wash my hands. But she kept yelling at me. I walked out! I told a nice man outside that his employees need to learn to talk to people. She yelled at me to wash my hands before she even said hello may I help you!

They do amazing work here! If your looking for perfection and technicians who concentrate on the work then, this is the place for you. Look no farther! I had the works done here from my head to my toes. First appointment was with Tony he did my nails which look so beautiful he takes his time and make sure your nails are perfectly done . You can tell hes a perfectionist !!! Afterwards I went to Nance she did my pedicure which was just as great. My toe nails she cut down to my comfort and liking. She also gave my legs an awesome massage. Finally I had Jenny who waxed my eyebrows. They look so good, She knows how to shape them to make you look your best. I felt like a new women after I was all done. What a wonderful experience. I must say this nail salon is much more quite and peaceful . If your looking for some quite time & relaxation then do not pass this salon up.

I have been coming to US Nails for years! I bring my kids and even my boyfriend to get services. Jenny and her husband Tony run a very honest business! they are very accommodating to my schedule and will correct anything you ask for. I appreciate the precise work they do on my nails and I never feel like a number or am ever rushed. Highly recommend them!

I’m addressing the recent review that was made, because I was the client that Jenny took care of. I had a scheduled appointment at the time Lisa S. was getting her nails done. I want to make it clear that I was not a walk in. Since the shop closes at 8pm Jenny realized that she would not have enough time to do marble nails on Lisa, and offered to accommodate her by making an appointment for the following day. I’m always more than satisfied with the service, and I didn’t want one misunderstanding to take credit away from Jenny.

My only nail shop in the world:)Best nail salon in the area. super clean and sterile. They use liners in the bowls for pedis as well as new files and tools for each client. Anything that isnt new comes out of a sterile autoclave bag. On top of that, their nail art and polish selection cant be beat. Never had a bad experience here. Highly recommend.

Honestly knowing about nails and being to different places, a nail tech in my time highly surprised by this pace had my nails done by Tony.. Wow! This is a hidden gem. He took his time to get the shape right the best part he didnt file my nail bed to the skin like other shops he did only the needed to make sure they stayed! The set is beautiful! Look natural too!! My pedi Amazing again they took their time to give you only the best highly recommend!

Tony the owner did my nails, he is a true gentleman & did an amazing job on a full set, he has been at the same location 23yrs. But unfortunately the front desk lady is rude and extremely arrogant, which makes going in there a difficult task😔 I just have to make sure I have an appointment set with Tony before going in.

US Nails is a hidden gem in Des Plaines!! My no-chip manicure by Jenny came out perfect! I felt so welcomed and will definitely be coming back! ☺

Jenny is the BEST! For 20 years, shes the only one I let touch my nails!

I started coming here since August. Jenny explained to me how wonderful gel nails are so I went for it. Since then Ive been coming back every 3 weeks to get gel refills. Jenny and her family has been charging me for gel and they have been giving me acrylic instead. My fault that I dont know the difference right? When I went to confront her about their dishonesty she yelled and accused me of lying even though I showed her my bank statements with the price of gel instead of acrylic. They obviously like to cheat their customers. Id give them a big fat ZERO if I could.

Never coming here again. I came in for a no chip change on my hands and feet and asked to get the marble polish. The owner didn’t have a problem with doing it but while my nail tech started to take my nail polish off in walks another customer and the owner decide she’s not going to be able to do my marble nail design and tells me I should pick another color. Ummm excuse me if I’m spending my money I want to get what I asked for! So I end up having to pay $10 just for my nail tech to take off the polish at this point I’m upset. What bothered me was the fact of her being able to do the design on minute and then changed her mind bc someone else walked in and suddenly she didn’t have time... If you knew you didn’t have time to do it in the first place why didn’t you just say so! I use to love coming here but nope never again!
