The two leading agents, Robert and Luke, we’re extremely helpful in making my moving process as smooth as possible. I came from TN to CO and had many stressors from the move, but the York on City Park was not one of them. They accommodated me with the move in process every step of the way! The place is amazing as well and right on city park! My dog and I are already so pleased!!

I tried to share an honest review after 9 months of living here, but they deleted it, so Ill try again. The staff has completely changed since we moved in, and the experience went downhill fast.We had maintenance requests that went untouched our entire lease. The “luxury amenities”... we tried to use the community grills once and they were filled with rats. We swam in the hot tub twice and both got a horrible rash.Move out was a nightmare. We had to end our lease early because of work arrangements. We gave sixty days notice - this is what the lease said to do - and were still told we’d be subject to an almost $4000 fee, which is nowhere on the lease. We told them we’d like it re-leased instead of paying the fee. They listed it on their website incorrectly, so it didn’t show up when searching - I let them know of this immediately, and my SIX emails went completely unanswered. (If it never got re-leased, they’d get the 4k fee). Thankfully it did finally re-lease.We scheduled a pre-moveout inspection for the week prior to our move. No one showed. I emailed rescheduling, again no show. Someone finally showed up when we weren’t around 36 hours before our leases ended. Thankfully, there were no repairs, but had there been necessary repairs, we would have been screwed. On our move-out paperwork, they requested a mail forwarding address so that they could forward our mail via their “Updater” service. I provided it. A month into living in our new home, I haven’t gotten a scrap of forwarded mail. I reached out and they told me to deal with it via the post office. I’d have done this initially, but they explicitly told us during move out that they’d handle the mail forwarding through their service. The apartments themselves are nice, so it’s 2 stars instead of 1, but the staff is so disorganized and horrible at communicating that it honestly feels predatory sometimes. It’s an all new staff from when we first moved in, and it’s been a huge difference that’s added up to a ton of stress for us. You can get a MUCH larger / nicer apartment in the City Park West neighborhood without all the frills (which, read above, weren’t great anyway).

This has by far been the best experience Ive had with leasing and moving into an apartment. I was blown away by the amount of additional space and the monthly rent price (very affordable) compared to my downtown apartment. Lets say I lived in the apartments with Whole Foods attached and had about 480 square feet so very small. My girlfriend remarked how small my apartment was and that I couldnt put in a decent sized couch. From the tour with Karla and the application process it was smooth. I like to communicate online and email communication was answered promptly and without issue.During the move I had nothing but great support from additional team members (Im just listing the ones I interacted with): Richard, Karla, Nate, Cedric, Daniel have been nothing but welcoming and addressed all my needs. Due to a divorce Im driving a 1/2 ton truck in the city. Its a beast and I was having problems with my parking lot sticker and the garage door. Richard promptly recommended a solution and it was addressed quickly.I feel like my stay here will be great. The girlfriend already loves the place, it is roomier, has all the same amenities, very affordable and a happy and willing staff that will bend over backwards to make sure any issue you have is addressed quickly. What are you waiting for? Move maybe we will meet.By the way, my apartment has a great view of City Park from the balcony it is such A HUGE IMPROVEMENT from the downtown apartment I lived in previously and at a HUGE discount. You really get more than what you pay for living here.

Recently took a tour of a couple units. Really nice building and and love the location. The tour was great and the agent giving the tour, Richard, was very professional. Overall, the experience was great and I was impressed with the units and the amenities. Im just still in the process of assessing whether I can move or not so the timing may just not be right at this time.

Richard, Dan, Ashton, and the rest of the team here at the York is unbeatable. Everyone takes the time to get to know each of the residents. They all work hard to ensure everyone is taken care of. Thanks for being a great team!

Great location, with access to great restaurants and outdoor activities with City Park just across the street. My only knock is the build quality. It is very easy to hear the footsteps of upstairs neighbors. With that said, I applaud the management at The York. I moved out close to a year ago, and recently received a call from a gentleman informing me that I had an uncollected deposit check that theyd like to forward to me. I appreciate this courteous gesture.-Paxton

Our experience with the leasing office and Richard in particular has been outstanding. Trying to move during these stressful times is difficult at best. Everyone we’ve met in the office has been caring and professional. If we choose to live at the York your staff would certainly be a contributing factor.

Living here was nothing short of a hassle, and most of the hassle was dealing with the front desk worker Daniel. This guy may be the biggest screw up I’ve ever met, and it is entirely his fault. He pretends to be professional and care, but once you sign a lease, getting him to do anything is incredibly stressful. He screwed up my move in when I drove three days from Florida to live here, and couldn’t simply send an email saying the freight elevator is under construction once over the course of three months. 3 months. He screwed up so much the building paid me over $2000 in inconveniences and repayments. He is actually costing the York money, and they’re paying him to do it. He doesn’t care, and he genuinely is the reason I moved out of the York. Granted the rest of the staff isn’t good, nor do they seem legitimately educated, which is sad for an upscale place to live. If I’m paying almost $2000 a month in rent, I should be living happy. My rent was overcharged 6 times while I lived at the York, and was only ever credited towards the next month, and never refunded. Even when my dog died, I asked them to take my dog rent off, and they didn’t for two months. I had to go down twice and remind them that my dog passed away and to please stop charging that. They literally told me to my face “I’ll take that off right now I’m sorry for your loss” and then I got charged dog rent for the next two months. The York is clearly hiring anyone off the street to work as the staff there, and the garage was broken over half the time that I lived there, leaving my car exposed to the homeless. Gated parking is $100 a month, and the garage door was broken over half the time. Please please please, save yourself the money and trouble, find ANYWHERE ELSE, until they at least fire Daniel and the staff starts taking their jobs seriously. I’ve been living in another apartment for 1/4 the rent, and get more sq footage, and have not had a single problem. IT IS NOT WORTH IT TO LIVE TO LIVE AT THE YORK!

My fiancé and I moved in to The York in April and we LOVE it. The property managers are super helpful and Cedric on the maintenance crew is just wonderful. The common areas are kept very clean, which is notable because that has not been the case with other pet-friendly apartments Ive lived at in the past. The elevators and stairwells almost always smell like Fabuloso, which is lovely. I also want to mention that these apartments offer so much gorgeous natural light--my plants are flourishing here! The one negative is that I can occasionally hear my upstairs neighbors clomping around and that can be a tad disruptive/annoying, but overall, Id say that this is a very peaceful, quiet apartment. Finally, I just want to add that the storage space inside my apartment is legit.

My husband and I absolutely love it here. The location is outstanding. It is so nice to be able walk right across the street to City Park or down 17th to all of the amazing restaurants. We love the different amenities that the York provides such as: the pool, 24 hour fitness room, hot tub, and coffee machine downstairs. It is very dog-friendly and they organize different social events. Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough.

The move in process was easy breezy and we are loving the community so far. There are definitely minor problems to be expected (as with any brand new apartment complex), but the staff is very friendly and seems to take care of issues in a timely manner. My boyfriend and I love our one-bedroom apartment, the pool, and the gym, and have not met an unfriendly person here. Living right next to City Park and a bunch of excellent restaurants also helps!

By far the best move in and renting experiencing thus far!! Amanda is an amazing leasing agent who went far and beyond to help us find the perfect apartment. The apartment complex is beautiful, very clean, and all the neighbors are friendly! Plus what sold it to me is that it is right next to a 300+ acre park for my furry friend and only about 10 blocks away from the city!!
