Carl was prepared from the very moment that the toddler sat down with things to keep him occupied and patience to finish the haircut properly. It was very timely and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed it! I know hair isn’t a life or death matter because it grows back and you can always eventually fix what goes wrong but this haircut turned out beautiful.

Best haircut I got in a while. People usually take tips 10 mins to cut my hair and they dont pay attention to detail but damn J hooked my head up. This is now my only barber and I recommend him if you wanna get faded up right

This shop is clean and sanitary! I can’t say that about a lot of the barbershops in the area. I like how they don’t play vulgar music and use profanity while my 3 year old son is there. This was my first time and I will return.

Been growing my beard for over a year with no real trim, went to this barbershop for a clean up. When I got in the chair, the Master Barber owner of the shop didnt even ask me what I wanted done (my mistake) I assumed that he knew what he was doing since he was being assertive, when I got out the chair he cut all my chin hair down to the point you could see the skin again, my sides were still thick like I had huge sideburns and cut most of my mustache hair off. He sprayed quarter of oil sheen on my beard, & told me I need that for my beard, keep in mind I use Scotch Porter religiously, I understand that cutting hair is a side hustle for most barbers but its starting to get embarrassing for alot of these black barbers, they take no pride anymore. Just putting money in they pocket.

Finally started to grow hair back from fighting stage 4 Cancer & O and the staff made me feel like I was normal. like I wasnt even sick. Gave me a cut to make me feel like a millionaire. Its not just a barbershop its the whole experience of life that flows throughout the shop. Old teaching the young & the young keeping us from getting old. Lol. Love this place you and family would be missing out on great haircuts and hairstyles along with that atmosphere that is fading away and thats treating people like their people period.

Would give 0 stars if I could. First, your info says youre open on Sundays until 4pm. Wrong, came to the door to get my son and I cut and some dude comes to the door and I asked if their open and he says, Nah man, im not open, I just had to come in to do an emergency cut. Amazing, what the hell is an emergency hair cut? Anyways, I tip anywhere between 25-30% on a good cut and they just lost out on $100+ in addition to a potential return customer as I am a Marine Corps veteran and get my hair cut every week and I live 4 minutes away.... Amazing. Ill keep my business at Scissorhand Design Studio.
