We had an exceptional experience with Axium. Our inspector, Thanh, was incredibly thorough and truly went above and beyond. It was very clear that he cared deeply about our experience and took great pride in his work. He generated the report very quickly which was helpful to us as we only had a few days to decide whether or not we would move forward on the house. Even after finishing the inspection, he went back through all his photos the next day to make sure every last detail was included in the report. Finally, what really really set Thanh apart was his willingness to teach us. As first-time home buyers, we were so grateful for all the time that Thanh took to explain every detail of his findings. He stayed for far longer than the time we had scheduled (on his Friday night too) to make sure we were well informed on the house. From now on, Thanh will be the first person I call for inspection needs and would recommend him to anyone!

After looking at the reviews, I thought that this would be a good company to choose for a home inspection. I realize my condo was smaller, but literally the inspection took 30-45 minutes. Looking back months later, the inspector missed a number of important issues and told me things that actually werent wrong with the property. In this market, youre lucky if you even get a home inspection on a property. I feel like this company is on the side of the Realtors and sellers, not the buyers!

ASBESTOS CEILINGThe home we are selling was inspected by Tim Krapfl. This inspector said the ceilings were Asbestos. This ceiling is an acoustic textured ceiling.Thanks to his wording, we had to spend a lot of extra time and money getting it tested, AND IT CAME BACK NEGATIVE for asbestos. If the deal falls apart, we will be taking further action!

I really liked the overall inspection other than the termite inspection. Thats why one less star. It may be that there are no termites int he area, but I was still expecting more of tests there. Radon inspection was good, but nothing was explained to a ly-man like me. I couldnt understand what it meant, other than overall it is fine

Our inspector Ron was great. He was on time, very professional and very detailed. He found major structural defects in the property that we didn’t see when touring the property. The first time I bought a home we used Axium because they are unparalleled in professionalism, price, and experience. When it was time to purchase our next home, Axium was available within 3 days to book a full inspection, sewer scope, and radon test. Our inspector was so nice and answered all of our questions, it was apparent that he wasn’t trying to rush us, which is a huge benefit when making such an important decision! I would highly recommend Axium, and as an added bonus, they are a family owned company as opposed to a big corporation!

I arrived 10 minutes prior to scheduled appointment and inspector was already performing inspection. In the past I and or my buyers had tagged along with the inspection. Our inspector preferred to do it, make notes, and take pictures then go over the entire inspection and answer questions, which worked well. While the inspection was going on the buyers took more time to look at the property, measured rooms for flooring, and created questions. It worked well and probably was a better use of time.

I would give our inspector Thanh a 10 out of 5 stars, as he was extremely personable and walked us through his findings with very helpful recommendations. As a first-time homebuyer, I greatly appreciated his attention to detail and honest assessment throughout the inspection.Id give the scheduling process a 0/10 though - I input all my information online, and then someone called me and asked for all the same information over the phone. Then another person called me and said the appointment didnt go through, so I had to provide my info a third time. Then I got called back again to confirm the day before my inspection, and then I got called again *during my inspection* to confirm that I wanted an inspection. Fix your website/call center.

Jim and Rick are great!We worked with Jim on two occasions. When going to inspect the first house, Jim provided us with a high level of detail pertaining to the items he was inspecting. We ended up pulling our offer due to his findings and feel grateful that he was able to safeguard us against serious health hazards. We, of course, asked for Jim again when we needed to inspect another house. Similar to our first experience with Jim, the level of details that he provided was unparalleled. Lee was very thorough and professional. He took the time to check everything and verify everything was working. Although the home was practically new he didn’t rush knowing it was recently built and might not have many issues. He found an issue I would have never checked for during an inspection which was bathroom water temperature. One of the bathrooms didn’t get very warm at all compared to others and now we are able to get that addressed before we moved in and not mid cold shower. Quick schedule and reports along with a quality inspection, would recommend to anyone needing a home inspector.

Two inspectors showed up on time and proceeded to perform a very thorough 3-hour pre-listing inspection of my single family home. Had issues with getting gas turned on to house from Xcel and builder. David Montano from Axium came back twice after the initial inspection to make sure we got everything looked at - and on short notice! Inspection was extremely well detailed and useful for communication with seller!

They did radon testing at my home over a 48-hour period. They communicated with me a lot before and after the test. They were on time and knowledgeable. I would recommend them for radon testing. We have not decided if we will put in a mitigation system yet.

I had a very negative experience with this company. I am now out several hundred dollars due cracked and rusted exhaust pipes on my furnace that were not documented in my inspection report. I was not provided the quality inspection that I believed I would receive. I strongly recommend that you READ THE SERVICE AGREEMENT. NOTE -inspections are completed under InterNACHI standards. Basically, I paid someone to look at and note under these guidelines barring any additional health and safety as I specifically requested prior to payment. I requested at minimum a refund based on the above and denied. DO YOUR RESEARCH.3/3/21 In response to your reply:I let your CR rep know I was at work at the time of the call, and that we can schedule a call for another time or communicate via email. Shortly thereafter, I received an email denying my refund request.From the report:Exhaust Flue: Inspected - PictureThe gas-fired heating system exhaust flue had proper connections, slope and clearance from combustibles.Day one of moving in Xcel Energy actually came out for an external gas leak outside my home and turned off my gas and flagged my furnace due to a clearance violation regarding combustibles. That was the first day I moved in. Yay, no heat first day in home in January. Thankfully I paid an HVAC tech to correct this along with the rusted and cracked piping.The first two photos are those from the report. The next three were taken by the HVAC tech.I dont think it takes an expert...the report photos clearly do not show center piping where the rust and cracks were.I do not need you to explain the report to me. I can read and the images are clear. I want you to explain why you think it is acceptable to deny my simple refund request and not take accountability for the sub-par inspection.*Note this is not the only issue, just the most hazardous.

Especially compared to the far inferior inspection report done by another company that inspect the house Im selling which was shared with me. I NEVER write reviews but for this one I felt i had to. I have lived in Denver for 27 years and have bought or sold seven homes. I will admit the inspection was thorough BUT the grief it caused to both the buyer and seller was ridiculous. The fixes they proposed were preposterous. Spots on the carpet deemed replacement!! And I’m not talking anything significant. Scratches in the hardwood floors deemed replacement. Fortunately the buyer realized this and of the 52 significant “observations” that needed either replacement or significant work only 13 were identified as objectionable. Of those 4 were flat out wrong by licensed contractors. I had to negotiate all of them which took hours. When I do end up selling anything else in Denver I will refuse to have this company inspect my home or the deal is off. Both buyer and seller beware. Glad you guys have a good reputation but my experience has been negative 5 stars sorry
