I requested a quote to compare my current rate with a 1800 company and was surprised to realize I missed the personal touch of a local agency. I do not agree with the policy this state farm had to offer me and my family. Almost 2 years ago my sister got into a car accident in our dad’s car and ever since then the insurance has been on top of us constantly asking if my sister was driving any of the cars. Of course she had not been driving ever since the accident and recently almost a year ago we bought a new car and the insurance would not stop asking if it was my sister who was driving that car. And now because of the accident my sister got into 2 YEARS AGO they are kicking ALL OF US OFF THE INSURANCE. My suggestion to everyone is if you’re going to get an insurance policy here you better not ever get into a car accident.. It is outrages that we are getting kicked out of this insurance.. I thought insurance was for protection over driving your vehicle put I guess not. It just doesn’t make since to me at all, everything was just fine until that ACCIDENT happened. Take your business elsewhere.

I have had State Farm auto insurance since I started driving, and when my homeowners insurance went up by 50% because the other company had a lot of weather related claims, I called up my State Farm agent’s office. Karla helped me to get a quote and bundle it with my already good auto rate. The quote came back lower than last year’s rate, plus the auto rate was lowered as well. I will save close to $1800 this year. Karla was super helpful and quickly got me squared away with my new policy, escrow and cancellation of the other policy. I am very thankful!

Ive had state farm for a total of 4 years, and they have recently sent me a letter stating that because i was involved in 2 accidents underwriting was reviewing my policy and is terminating coverage of my policy. They told me that, they could STILL COVER ME BUT! they were going to cover me with some other state farm policy and it was going to be at a small fee of $500. They told me i am at risk for future accidents thats why we would have to resort to this secondary state farm policy. Do not waste your time with this insurance, because the perfect candidate for this would be somebody that can drop a dime on them and not go out of their house so they do not get any accidents.Requirements for having state farm: excellence driving record, NO ACCIDENTS, excellent payment history, and creditoh and did i mention no accidents

I recently purchased a new vehicle, and my previous insurance decided to raise my rates to the roof with no alternate solution. My rates had quadrupled, and they were higher than the car payment on my new vehicle! I decided to shop around, and put in a quote for State Farm. Jonie M. called me the same day with a quote that was COMPLETELY reasonable, and one that was very affordable. She also helped me add renters insurance, and explained the importance of having that as well. The rate was a fraction of the rate my old insurance provider gave me, and I had better insurance with State Farm than I did with the old one! Jonie was very helpful though this stressful situation and eased my anxieties quickly. Unfortunately my old insurance wasnt done messing with us just yet. They tacked on a random fee even though we had canceled before the date that the new insurance started. Jonie send them multiple letters on my behalf to have them drop the charges since I had changed insurances. They still wouldnt have it! They sent the bill to collections! Jonie was there for us again. She faxed the collections agency for us, since we didnt have access, and took care of our worries. She has been wonderful throughout the entire experience, and we are so glad we made the switch. Jonie made a huge impression on us, and we are very happy that she was there to help us through the mess. Thank you Jonie, and thank you State Farm.

I asked for a quote for home owners insurance (For my new house-brand new construction house) and they denied to give a quote cause of a Hail damage claim i had on my previous house, which i was with Nationwide insurance at that time and they paid for it (different house in a different city than the new house i am asking coverage for). I mean How can an insurance company deny giving coverage based on the a different house you had before. a weather related claim is not Owners fault. Its irony how insurance companies love taking your money when they are 100% sure they wont have to pay a penny back. Allstate insurance happily gave me a quote, without giving any shady excuses. I am kind of glad i am not with State farm. I will not recommend this insurance company to anybody.PS. I didnt have any problems with staff at this agency. My comments are entirely related to State Farm in general.
