Everyone at Studio One is very welcome and professional. I go to Studio One for facials. Hannah G is amazing! She tailors facials to my skin issues each time I go and recommends products for me to take home. Shes is very knowledgeable and answers any question I have. I always leave there feeling so relaxed and pampered. Thank you Hannah!

I’ve been going to Studio One for almost ten years now and I have to say that I’ve had a wonderful experience. The staff is very loving and friendly and do their best to work around your schedule. I’ve gotten almost every service from my hair cut and colored to makeup for a wedding, waxing, facials, messages you name it and the experience has always been very satisfying and relaxing. I’ve been to many massage places. For the $90 dollars they charge for a Swedish massage, it was the shortest one ever. It was only 30-35 minutes of the actual massage. I felt like Catherine was not trying throughout the massage at all. Your better off going to one of those stands in the mall. They do the best work from my experience.

I got a lash lift for the first time months ago and my lashes literally are kinky and bald in the middle of each upper lash line STILL. The treatment barely curled them initially and I left with red eyes and the “esthetician” stated that next time we could leave the solution on longer to get more curl. I can’t even imagine that. I would likely have no lashes left at this point. This has been extremely embarrassing and the worst decision I’ve made cosmetically for myself. I would definitely not recommend this treatment.

I had my hair cut and highlights done last week by Ana Schopp. I absolutely LOVE my hair, she did a great job! She is very sweet and I really enjoyed my experience.

Very friendly and accommodating staff! Went in for a pedicure, scheduled last minute this morning, and had Mackenzie. She was great! My nails look amazing and she was very detailed but quick which is exactly what I was looking for today. Will definitely be going back!

Im giving this Salon 4 stars ONLY for its SPA. The Hair Salon is not worth the money. Dolce Vita Hair Salon is significantly better! Dont waste your money here for your hair. Seriously I could show you pictures on how they butchered my dye job but I wont be that petty. I did demand a refund so I could go have my hair fixed properly and they complied.BUT...the SPA is absolutely amazing! If you really want the spa experience, want to be pampered, get amazing spa treatments etc. this is for sure the place to go. I see Hannah for facials and I would highly recommend her. She takes great care with your skin, works up to the minute (I have been places where massage therapists stop early, you dont get a full hour) she does an amazing job on brows as well!

I got a facial done by Felicia. And omg my skin has improved greatly. Especially my acne and I did not do the acne facial. Everyone was very kind and professional. Highly recommend - will definitely be returning for future services!

Ill give the 1 star because you cant put less.The 1 star is because women who waxed and tinted my eyebrows was great. Id give more stars just for her, but my experience got destroyed by Sarah. The worst haircut and color job Ive EVER had! Haircut looks nothing like what I asked for and she seems to know exactly what I wanted which wasnt hard... And I showed a pic and she even pointed out the lenght I was asking for before cutting. But it ended up 8 inches shorter for some reason. Even after me saying a few times.... that seems a bit short!?Then the color. I get an all over color, nothing fancy, and there are plenty sports all over that she somehow missed. My hair is very light brown, I get all over flat black, how do you miss spots?I left after spending Way to much $. Shaking and about to cry.I called and sent an email to talk to someone in charge about it with no reply.Would never go there again. Its stinks because eyebrow lady was great but I dont want anything to do with Studio One and will let others know to be aware.I could of cut and colored my hair better myself alone in the dark. Horrible experience and now it will take a year of a stupid haircut to grow out to maybe be where I wanted it to be.

Ive been to many salons around the DeKalb/Sycamore, Chicago land area and Studio One is my favorite. Each stylist, aesthetician, massage therapist and desk attendant is professional and courteous. Every question is answered and stylists are up-to-date on the latest looks.

Overpaid for too long at this small salon in Dekalb. Never saw an itemized bill until until my last visit. No way is this salon worth what they are charging and their stylist are way over rated. This salon is very OLD fashioned. Went there for the one service I could not find near by -Hairdreams.Was not going to Yelp them until I received a message from the owner professing their greatness.I am not interested in her opinion...According to her staff shes what makes the ancient.

Polite, but pushy. If you just want a haircut without the expensive blow dry, go elsewhere. They treat well only customers willing to spend a lot of money, the others are a waste of time to them. Ok Studio One, if you dont like earning $30, I guess next time $0 will look better.

Kenzie was my stylist and she did a phenomenal job. I wanted a short feminine pixie cut, showed her a picture and she delivered. Ive tried less expensive places with ok results. Sometimes having to touch up things later. No need here. Its a bit pricey for me but I was long overdue for a good haircut. I went in not ready to commit to a spa that costs a bit more than I want to spend every month or so but she may have ruined my inexpensive plans. Thanks a lot Kenzie :]I had been to Studio One for a massage on occasion. Leah is awesome by the way! I hesitated at first to get a haircut there because of some old online reviews and Im sorry I waited.
