Having a washing machine in my apartment is the best. Laundry mats can be so gross. O like having my own much better.

One of thee best things about this place is that they have a place for packages to go if you arent home. I dont have to worry about things being stolen. Is also close to Park 88 for work.

I am happy with my experience living in the Eco Park Apartments. The office staff were friendly and helpful. The maintenance staff were prompt in their response to my requests. I would recommend them.

We are moving from California to DeKalb and Britney seriously made this the easiest process ever. She was immediately so warm and welcoming and so informative. She had even offered to connect me with her old English professors at NIU as Im considering studying there for my MA. Seriously the nicest and most helpful person ever. I cannot express just how excited we are to live at Eco Park apartments and how freaking amazing Britney is. Thank you so much, Britney !

Great place to live, definitely one of the better apartments to live in the Dekalb area. Two beds, two baths and a washer and dryer can’t beat that. Also the property Manager Britney is really helpful when it comes to having your questions answered! She’s a great person to contact with any questions about your apartment at Eco Park!

Really like living here. most of my friends here too now in other apartments. Its awesome they give you rent credits for that. really helps. been a good place for us.

Ive liked living at Eco Park. The 2 bedroom is good for me and my daughter & I like that I have my own bathroom. No more tripping g on bath toys :) wish there was a park or something closer though.

Eco park is one of the BEST apartments to live in. It is clean, up to date, maintenance is always on time and answers request urgently. They are very affordable and they make your living experience very easy and homey! I would definitely recommend living here. It is also close to campus and main attractions. Eco park is a 10 out of 10! I LOVE living here. Jessica and Brittany are amazing property managers!

This has been a great place for me in the past 3 years. Yes, theyre college apartments and the apartments themselves are pretty basic, but I was here to study & its been a great place for that. The office has always been on top of any noise issue that I had ( like 2) & enforcing the property rules, which I appreciate.Having a computer lab here made my life so much easier too. I didnt have to run to campus all the time. Everyone has always been helpful and made my time here so less stressed than prepping for grad school could have been.

A best place to experience your school life! The management is very prompt and helpful. Never faced any issue while staying there. No security issues either. The house is clean and free of bugs. Highly recommended.

Hi, just wanted to share this positive review. Early this month I was going out of state to visit friends and family for the holiday. Just the day before I moved from one apartment in Eco Park to another. I was rushing trying to get done moving the morning I was to leave for my trip out of state. Well, turns out I may have forgotten to lock my door in the mad rush. I called Jessica when I was already 2 hours into my road trip and explained the situation. She was very understanding and personally went to my apartment to lock the door. This was really going above the call of duty and I appreciated it!

I moved in in August this year and have not had any issues. The staff are nice and they take care of the place. I would recommend.

I have no complaints. Jessica has been very nice and helpful with any questions we may have. Maintenance is very quick with an issue, our college students feel safe and secure and thats what matters the most. The apartment was clean upon move in and havent had any issues.

Maintenance has really been on top of the snow removal. This was a HUGE problem at my last place, days you couldnt even get out the door, so I appreciate them coming in early and on weekends to keep up with this.

My apartment here is nice. They are exactly what I expected when moving in. They are not luxury apartments, but great for a student like me. It is convenient to have the washer and dryers in the apartment. I have had a couple things break in the apartment which is annoying, but the guys that fix stuff came to fix. I like to walk to class and I can do it from here so that is good. If you don’t like to walk in the bus goes thru the lot too. Overall it’s a cool place.

Pretty good place. I enjoy living here. Apartments are a little dated, but better than most of DeKalb and everything is solid. Maintenance does the job right the first time.

Renter beware of applying. They charge a 300 dollar holding deposit on top of their application fee when you apply, but neglect to say that it becomes non refundable once you are approved. I would also advise checking their reviews on yelp; those reviews arent nearly as positive and seem more honest based on my experience.

Maintenance was good, not a huge fan of my neighbors though. Only reason I put 4 stars instead of 5.

My boyfriend and I happily lived at Eco Park for three years. As a grad student, the location was excellent for getting to campus quickly - either by walking or taking the bus (which was literally right outside our front door). The apartments are clean, well-maintained and sizable. All the appliances worked great and if there was ever an issue, it was taken care of promptly. Maintenance guys Brian and Jeff are aces!! If anything was ever wrong, they took care of it promptly and efficiently - not to mention they are the nicest guys!!Jessica and Kevin in the managing office have been nothing but accommodating. Jessica is super knowledgeable, thorough and a complete professional. When Kevin says hell get back to you - he does so in a timely manner.Yes, this is college housing. Yes, there are drawbacks. But for the convenience and overall positive experience, I was happy to call Eco Park my home for three years. We were sad to say goodbye.

I have lived in Ecopark apartments for three years, and I have had no qualms whatsoever. Every time I had a maintenance issue, it was promptly addressed at, the mails all get delivered accurately, and the staff are quite friendly. Would recommend it 5/5!

I moved in a few months ago and have had a great experience.

The good: The apartments themselves are really nice. The carpets are clean and spacious enough. The appliances are dated but they work well enough. Guest parking is free and its a short walk to campus. The people who work here are also very pleasant. Joe is nice and the maintenance guys are polite, friendly, and helpful. Jessica is not particularly nice though.The bad: Because it is close to campus, it is full of students. Its similar to a dorm in that the residents play music very loudly and through parties on the weekends. The stairs are dirty and sometimes have puke all over them. The hallways are cleaned infrequently and smell of cigarette smoke and pot even in non-smoking buildings. You have to pay extra to get a parking permit and you are required to pay a large amount to use the printing lab, even if you will never use it. It is non-refundable. The rent is also more expensive than other apartments in the area. It does include cable, internet, and water but you would save money paying for these things on your own at a cheaper apartment.

Terrible do not stay here!!!!!! Try to steal your money deposit was over 900 dollars tried to say it was only 600 and give us back 425 haha try again

Ok...tried to review this place on Yelp, but apparently they think Im a fake or something & it doesnt show up so Im putting something up here too. Ive had a great experience living here. Renewed my contract again this year. The biggest thing is that the staff are helpful and do what they say the will when they say they will do it.

This apartment has done a complete 180-degree turn around! If youre looking for something short term and you dont really care about where you live, then its completely fine. I would not suggest signing a two year lease nor living here for more than 1 year. Do you like vomit and trash left in the hallway? Lazy maintenance workers and office staff? This is the place for you! The first year was great, but Im not sure what happened. Maybe Kevin and Jessica need some extra help in the office because Im not sure if theyre entirely capable of doing it on their own.

I am moving to NIU in August for school next year. We toured a few places in town, but Eco Park was the most professional office we visited. They had answers for every questions and able to accommodate any request we had. I cant wait to move in!

My son stayed with a buddy of his in this building his 2nd and 3rd year of NIU. It was a nice, well priced apartment. He transferred to their other community, Lincolnshire West, into a 1 bedroom for his last year. Both complexes were good places to live.

Been living live since 3 months.... So far the experience is best and the working staff always there to help whenever needed.

Very accommodating staff with a friendly atmosphere, and when there was ant sort of problem maintenance was there very quickly. They do lots of give aways and activities too. Also the bus station is very close by the apartments.

I have lived at this place for 4 years. Ive been extremely happy with the service, the kind hospitality, and the overall friendliness. Definitely the best place to live in DeKalb.

I enjoy living here. Rent is cheap for roommates and me. Our AC broke and they fixed it. When we need a parcel, it is sometimes hard without ID but they give it when we have one.

Lived here Junior and senior year at NIU and really enjoyed my stay. They made the whole application and renewal process a breeze not to mention maintenance was very attentive and quick to respond to work orders.

I leased a apartment for one year, the apartment was left in impeccable condition, Kevin Bott of Eco Park charged me $70 for painting, $30 for oven cleaning and $130 for carpet cleaning! all of these items were not needed and already done in accordance with the lease agreement.

Eco staff is friendly and competent. Facilities are clean and maintenance staff is prompt.

THIS IS THE WORST COMPLEX TO LIVE IN. The whole building was infested with roaches and the property manager didnt know want to do anything about it. Maintenance only comes on their time. They are scammers when it comes to rent. The police in the area isn’t helpful at all. Overall this is not a safe environment and they could careless about your safety as well,they just want the money.

Just set my daughter up here and it is the the most professional office I saw in DeKalb. The lady in the office had answers for every question we asked and made us feel welcome even though she was running the whole place by herself. Its not like a lot of places in dekalb that we saw that just staff their offices with college students who dont care and dont know anything.

Jessica, neither lends patience to complaints about broken amenities, very loud neighbors or the surplus of trash within the lots, let alone creedence. Eco Park Apartments, located on the 1300 block of Eco park drive, also has a contract with Tri-state Towing Company, which charges exorbitant amounts- good luck enjoying time with your friends if they live in these complexes, because youll never find a spot. And, if there Isnt obvious drug activity taking place, then there is sure to be a police car (or several) perusing the lot. Eco park apartments say they are DeKalbs best value Its obvious why.

First apartment ive ever lived in so its hard to compare personally, but I think its pretty decent. Rent is pretty good considering all utilities are included besides electric, but you also pay for what you get. (Included internet is pretty rough) The apartments themselves are decent, on the smaller side, and the appliances are kinda dated. It kinda sucks because the apartments do not have anywhere for storage thats not in your own closet. However, they do their job well enough. Leasing office is very nice and always willing to help and answer questions. I would definitively recommend.

Worst experience ever. I moved here last fall & the apartment was bedbug infestated. The office is horrible and unorganized, they’re big scammers. I don’t recommend at all

Weve had some problems but they were quickly resolved and the location is really close to campus. The bus stop is right in front of our building so thats a plus.

He had a good time at Eco Park while he was a student at NIU. Someone was trying to sell me a water bill, but Jessica (the woman in the office) explained to me that we never pay the bills because they are included with the rent. She helped us a lot!
