I had my tires replaced here, it was good service. I just spent time in the mall so I wasnt concerned about time, which was reasonable anyways. A little local trivia: did you know this location used to be a JCPenney Auto Center?
I will always do business with Firestone now. They told me everything I needed to know. Kept me up to time and what they were doing. Awesome people.
Not bad. Got a brake inspection and tire alignment. They saw the underside of my car and wouldnt tell me how my car looked since it was rusted from the north and they wanted to charge me for a complete inspection. They know what they are doing, there are better shops to go to for customer service and honor.
We had a popped tire on Sunday. Mark, the owner, who is usually closed on Sundays, we Called the number, he picked up, came up to the shop on his DAY OFF and hooked us up with a tire. Super friendly, super nice. Will enjoy doing business with him again. Im going to recommend this guy to everyone I know.
This location was very good and fast. They got me in and out. No issues or worries about time frames. Called at the last minute. Took me in and got me back on the road.
Needed a truck tire due to a road hazard cut in tire,They were very knowledgeable about the tire I needed.Had the tire in stock and replaced it while I waited. The other area shops did not carry the truck tire.
I remember I use to always bring my Suzuki Forenza at this location all the time to get an oil change. Then I ended up getting a lot of expensive things fixed that they recommended. I remember I asked them to replace both of my rear brakes so they charged me for both. The next day I heard the same brake noises and they told me that it was my left rear brake. I got annoyed and told them I thought they said they fixed both rear brakes and they made an excuse about the parts. I decided to give them another chance and simply told them that I needed new bulbs in my brake lights. When they were finished the guy had a shirt filled with old bulbs and told me that he changed all the bulbs in my car out. I later learned that night that my center brake lights went out and I asked them how did my Center brake lights go out after you guys told me you changed all the bulbs in my car. They kept trying to switch the original story up so I ended up leaving and never going back.
Here on vacation and had a low tire problem with my rental car. Went to this location Firestone in Daytona because my rental through Hertz was no help. Stopped in to see Micheal and the GM Doug. The team went out of their way to help get the tire fixed. Definitely helped to get us back on our way. Much help and greatly appreciated .
So thorough, kind, and honest. Great team. They earned my trust and respect.
Very, very expensive oil change and even with an reservation, it took an hour and half to get my car back. will never go back!
Poor experience! Made an appointment for 9am and I’ve waited until 12 to get my car just for alignment, they said it takes less than 1 hour. Lol
There so call mechanic the most rude people i ever met in state of Florida that company needs to teach there employees customer service and have a better attitude towards the public
I called a day before. I asked before I made an appointment the prices. This location at this store was honestly the best for brake prices in town. I called around. I made an appointment after the women told me everything. I then was told me appointment time was noon. I told her I wanted to walk the mall. She told me good bc it don’t open till 11am. I walked in Chris welcomed me with a wave and a smile through the mask. Lol. I then said my name and he said my car ect. I then had my miles and car info ready to go. He told me ahead of time that my wait time was 2-3 hrs. I was expecting about that. I asked for a brake inspection and total car inspection. They called about 30-40 mins to let me know I needed a clean and that they had an emergency walk in. I told them even better I’ll go to lunch with my husband. (No judgment bc we are a gay wand family) we then got a call that it was ready. We then paid and Chris gave me in an email my receipt and estimate for what I asked for I’ll be back very soon. Chris did an amazing job at customer service. The mechanic did an amazing job with our car! Fells like I am driving a new car!!!!
Best investment ever made was at Firestone...For $220.00 I purchased the life time wheel alignment.... have used it 4 times and I leave happy every time!!!Hey Jeep people....I have a 4Runner....if youre rugged and always in need of a wheel alignment... Firestone is the place!
Customer service have you just standing around as if you have nothing better to do with your time for almost 3hours. Dont communicate well with customers☹ quite disappointing for sure.
It is definitely my favorite location in the Daytona Beach area. The employees are not looking to rip you off, just educate you on the state of your vehicle. They will make recommendations according to manufacturers specifications but they will not pressure you if something is actually not necessary to keep your car in good running order. I trust them with both of our vehicles.
Nasty place...,Mike, you are the rudest and most conceited person I have ever seen. NOT RECOMENDED!!!.
Always transparent and efficient for me
Good service. Went there for an alignment. Prices are high, but to be expected nowadays. Theyre quick, but they dont top off fluids for free. A half quart of oil low, and windshield fluid a smidgen low, and they didnt offer to top them off unless I paid for a full oil change. $126 for a single inner tie rod end, when they cost $30 from Detroit Axle for both. Thats price gauging in my book. I could understand maybe $60 or something, but $126 for ONE without labor, which was another $100 is crazy expensive.
Dont go there. They are lazy and do a poor job. I went to repair a brake caliper and hose for a total of 450$ and I have a rattle in the front since then. I found out that they didnt even screw the hose mount back when they did the job. Now I live in canada 1500 miles from there and have to pay to get it fixed. Go somewhere else. See picture for details
Every part takes an hour + to put on. Doesn’t know much about diesel or manuals. Had my families business for years and I am not coming back. Always get quotes for a decent amount then it doubles when you have to pick it up. Heck, went to go start my car and it was still in drive! I have 3 gas’s and a diesel and I’m going to be using local from now on.
I couldn’t trust them because they said my battery was going bad when it was a 4 month old battery. Be careful. They will try to add on all this extra stuff.
Got a tire rotation here yesterday and was told that my oil was low. Was told that they were doing a $10 inspection special which could tell me whether or not I had an oil leak. I took them up on the deal, they gave me an appointment for this morning. My car received a clean bill of health. I was in and out in about an hour. Im very pleased with the price of the service and the speed of service.
Ended up with a flat tire on my way into Daytona tonight & luckily ended up right by this location. I pulled in right as they were locking the doors & hoped they could help me at least make it home so I could get the tire replaced in the morning. I didn’t want them to have to stay after closing time. But Michael & Gregg were awesome and took great care of me, putting a new tire on quickly and sending me on my way! Super thankful for your help & great customer service!
They were very polite very nice took the time checked out my brakes and gave my car a good look over and then I had my oil changed I did have trouble with one break on the way home something must have Jarred I took it back and they corrected the situation no problem again super nice polite talk to me explained everything thoroughly
No matter what, they will call you for extra services. Just find another local mechanic. This is no good.
Went in for a 12 oclock appointment to have my tires balanced and rotated. I was the only one sitting in the waiting area and there were only 2 other cars in the bay. Sat there for 30 minutes before finally asking about how long it would be before they were finished. Was told another 45 minutes. Went to grab some lunch with my husband and came back to check an hour later. They still werent finished and my car was just sitting up on the lift with the tires in a pile on the side. Sat there another 40 minutes waiting. The guy at the counter then told me it was because I have large custom rims and they were heavy so thats why it took longer. Well thats funny, because I normally go to the Firestone in Port Orange and they never have any issues and Im usually in and out in less than an hour. Definitely wont be coming to this location again.
Traveling out of town and not being able to see familiar faces can be tough, however when I was looking for a place to take my care in need of work in a pinch I ran across this firestone, I was Greeted and dealt with two people, Michael (Store Manager) and Garrett Thomas ( Client Advisor) I have never felt more at ease at a mechanic facility except my home town shop. Couldnt be happier with this visit, glad to say although I wont be there regularly, the family I came to visit will be becoming regular customers. Thanks Again.
Prompt and friendly service.
I would have to give this place 5 stars. On our way back from NC we got a bulge in our tire that made the whole car vibrate and shake. Pulled off next exit and checked it out at the gas station. Pulled up tire places and this was the closest one. We didn’t have a spare so we drove straight there. The tire deflated as soon as I got it into the parking spot by the garage. It was 12am so we did our best to sleep until it opened at 7am. We spoke to the manager on his way into the building and he opened the door early for us. He (luckily)happened to have our size tire in stock and we were out the door and on our way home finally about 25 minutes later. Thanks again guys!
Michael was knowledgeable and not overbearing or trying 2 sale tires. Straight forward and not snobbish.
Every time i go always great service and friendly, and they always get me what i need when i need it and its very affordable
I was on vacation ( a couple years ago) and the wheel on my car cracked. They went out of there way to help me. A new rim was going to be $800.00 they called around and found a good used one for $250.00. being out of town and on vacation this was a tremendous help. These guys are great !!!! Thanks from Kentucky !!!!!
I got played out of almost $600 and my husband and i have 7 children i feel like we were played and they were very deceitful and i will never go back to gt my car or anyones car fixed
The store in Daytona Beach FL at the mall is great. The mgr Michael will take care of you have no worries, I had a problem caused by the Firestone store in Port Orange and Michael solved it no problem.avoid the store in Port Orange FL at the pavilion they suck. But as long as Michael is at this store this is the only place my wife and I will be going for tires and service.
Absolute crooks. I dont often write hyperbolic reviews, but my wife hit a curb and went in for a tire replacement. Somehow she walks out with a bill for $650. They sold her on the standard air filter rip-off, a fuel flush and tried to get her to spend $450 more on other things she didnt need that she thankfully turned down.Gregg is an absolute con-man that took advantage of my wifes ignorance and sold her a ton of things she didnt need.He even left a voicemail on my phone, then talked to my wife and said Ive already discussed these things with your husband when Ive never talked to this man in my life. He is an outright liar and cannot be trusted.Do not do business with these people.
Went in to get two tires replaced on my car. After waiting for almost two hours, I asked the manager what was taking so long and he said that it was because I had an odd tire size on my car and that it was taking a while to mount them correctly. The tires were 215/50/R17 and they were being mounted on 17x7 wheels, which is a common size among modern cars, despite the manager saying otherwise. When I finally got the car back, the manager told me I had a bad tierod, a leaking radiator and a leaking axle seal. He then tried to get me to fix all the problems on the spot ($600-700 total).I declined since I already knew they were trying to rip me off, since I knew 100% that my radiator was not leaking (had done a coolant flush eight months earlier and hadnt lost any fluid in that time). Instead I went to an ACTUAL mechanic the next day and told them to see if all this was true. As I suspected, none of what the manager at Firestone had told me was true. My car was in perfect working order. Dont trust these guys for a minute, even with your tires. Because to top it all off, they curbed the absolute hell out of the two wheels on which they switched the tires. If you need new tires, I would highly recommend Discount Tire on Beville. For any other service, I would highly recommend Theresas Garage, as they do an excellent job at reasonable prices.
I needed to have the battery replaced in my old car. They said it would take about one hour. After waiting 2 and a half hours, I enquirer as to what was happening. They said they were still waiting for the battery! I asked them to cancel, I was leaving. Miraculously within 5 minutes the new battery arrived and was installed, in 2 minutes. After driving away the the car was vibrating and a noise coming out of the engine. Took the car back next morning, to find out the battery was not properly secured. The tool that was supposed to hold the battery in place was missing - so they tied it with a zip tie....but the old battery was firmly in place when I dropped the car off! The corrosion package I paid for was not done, and deducted from the bill. CANNOT recommend this place - shoddy work, and lies from beginning to end - at top dollar!
Incompetent staff and techs at this location beware. I had purchased 4 firehawk Indy 500s at this location and had vibration issues out the door. They claimed everything they could to either make more money or not fix the issue. The problem is the fact that this location is too lazy to proper force match mount your tires with the nice expensive road force balancer they have. I had to go to discount tire in Ormond who had 2 week old techs who correctly remounted two tires to match the low and high spots in assembly. Avoid firestone and the racket they present and youll be happier trust me.
Reposting: Gave this store a one star after an unfortunate situation with them but I have decided to bump them back up to a 3 simply because the store manager Michael was really sincere in apologizing for the inconvenience. He explained the situation to me and was willing to take the cost down. Turns out they actually did order the correct part but was sent the wrong parts by the dealership. Will give this store another shot because of the way Manager Michael handled the situation.“Had my check engine light on and some engine roughness so I went to firestone to have it checked out. It was kind of late and they were closing so they had me scheduled for an appointment in the next morning. My car was running fine the next morning and somehow the check engine light was no longer there. But I decided to have it checked out anyways for safety reasons. So I took my car there, left it with them for hours until they called me and told me they had to replace some parts and they can only get those parts the next morning. They can’t put the old parts back and my car was not drivable so I had to leave it there overnight. They obviously didn’t know the work very well because they didn’t know that they won’t be able to put the pieces back in and my car will be undrivable. They basically called me to inform me that I have no choice but to leave my car there because they screwed up.More inconveniences continue - the next morning, they called me again and told me they ordered the wrong parts and the correct ones won’t arrive until next week Monday (3 days from today). It’s like they don’t even know what they are doing! Very unprofessional.I sent my car there (still drivable and no longer had any warnings or cautions), and now my car is not drivable and I have to go without a car for 3-4 days. I sent my car to the shop for them to look at it and fix it if there is any issues. But it’s like they are only making it worse and worse, it was drivable and now it’s not even drivable. I have to commute everyday and I don’t even have a car now. would never go back to this shop again for maintenance issues. Caused me a ton of inconveniences, no reimbursement and very unprofessional.”
When is an appointment not an appointment? When you make one with Firestone! Called an made an appointment, showed up on time an was told yes I saw your appointment but we dont made them that late. What? Rukm? No come back tomorrow. I drove 25 miles for nothing! BS!
Took my vehicle in for the $20 advertised oil change, had a good experience. Had my father go down for the same, and they found a stripped plug in his oil pan. Its really tough to say whether it was the old oil change place or this one, but it gets better. He was pretty much stuck dealing with them at that point. $500 later the technician was slamming the underside of the car with a 3lb sledge trying to get the oil pan either in or out. My dad finally got management involved and they corrected the fellow, but the damage was done, and the cost.Beware the $20 enticement. It will cost you in the end. Unless you get lucky on who is working on it.
They tried to over charge a break job that should cost about 650. But told me 1700 for it.
I was traveling to Daytona with my fiancé for a vacation, and while there, the car started to overheat. I don’t know much about cars, but knew to check the coolant. We went to the nearest Walmart and bought some coolant, put it in the empty container, and then watched it pour out the side. We drove the small bit back to the hotel for the night and went to this Firestone the next morning. They checked it over, and Gregg said that it was missing a piece that they did not have, (it was apparently a connector for around 5 hoses) and would need to be ordered from the Ford dealership the next day. He said we needed our thermostat replaced and the labor would be $300. The piece price was unknown, but the labor for that would also be $300. He said the total price would be around $800. It wasn’t my car, so we called my fiancé’s granddad and asked. He said her uncle would come up and fix it. The next day they got there, bought a $5 part from auto zone, and had it fixed within 30 minutes. THEY WILL CHEAT YOU OUT OF MONEY. We are young and apparently to them that means niave. There was NO hoses not connected, everything was fine, it was literally just missing a plug. My father wanted to talk to him to understand the situation and he “gladly” did. Then when my fiancé’s granddad wanted to, it was HIS car, he repeatedly said he wasn’t dealing with that, was tired of having to talk to our parents, walked off and started complaining to coworkers about having to talk to them. Unprofessional, rude, treated us like idiots and tried to scare us into leaving the car there. Said coolant was spraying out the top even though we watched it pour out the side. Her uncle fixed the car in 30 minutes for $5 and I was able to drive 150 miles home with no issues 20 minutes later. Find ANYWHERE ELSE BUT THIS SHOP.
DO NOT have your alignment done here!I had to take my truck to Port Orange Firestone to fix what they did here, gave them two times to fix what they did, it was pulling to the right after they touched it.My truck was not pulling right before they tried to align it here.
Quick friendly service and they fixed my car’s issue. Made appt online and was in and out within an hour!
Went to get my front tires checked out for leaks and 2 hours later they talked me into buying 4 new tires not very happy with them at all!!!!!
I used to frequent this firestone years ago and always had good experiences. After this last time though I will never return. I had an oil change appointment for Saturday and called to change it to Sunday over the phone. When I arrived for my appointment on Sunday the technician stared at the computer for 5 minutes before checking me in. When I asked how long it would be, he said an hour and a half because my appointment was the day before because apparently the guy on the phone never changed it in the computer. Awesome. So an hour and 45 minutes go by and they tell me I have 2 nails in my tires and it’s going to be $30 EACH to patch them. I said no and went to Walmart where not only did they patch it for $10, but there was only one nail, not two. Also, my car alerts me when I have a nail in my tire and it didn’t do that until after I left Firestone. Im not totally convinced they didn’t put that nail in my tire.
Had appt. for 9:00 a.m. I sat in the lobby until approximately 10:06 before I realized my car hadnt even been pulled in yet. I asked why. He said it was next to come in. I told him thats not good enough that i had an appointment over an hour ago. He started to say well the appointment is really for I cut him off and told him not to run me around and informed him that I am a former store manager for the company and know how this works. The service I asked for calls for .4 hours, thats it! Thats 24 minutes. Ive now been here for 2 hours and my vehicle is not done. The process is broken at this location and nobody seems to care. Nobody has offered so much as an apology, just excuses. Embarrassing representation of Bridgestone and I challenge the area manager to come to this location and really see how the CSDS is being under utilized. I will update this review if it gets any better or worse for that matter. I am sorely disappointed at the service here. No sense of urgency what so ever .
Less than two weeks after my car was repaired at Firestone, it broke down on I-95 on a Monday morning. Firestone refused to refund my money and towing expenses. No one, especially women, should trust them with their vehicles!
I went to firestone since there was a weird noise comming from my right front tire. I paid 20$ to have the car checked out. I was then told that there are several issues and it would cost me around 700$ to have everything repaired. According to firestone, the struts were worn out, the sway bar links needed to be replaced and the front brakes need to be changed as well as the rotors.Luckily I did not agree to anything and took a look at the car with a knowledgeable friend who is a mechanic:As it turned out, the rotors were perfectly fine and the same was true for the air filter! So DO NOT TRUST THEM! As soon as they realize that you dont know very much about cars, they will try to rip you off!!! Especially the air filter does not cost anything and it takes 1min to change it - 49$ at firestone and a convenient business for them.Well, at least the sway bar links and the front brakes needed to be changed indeed. Their offer: 600$.I bought the parts for 80$ at Autozone and it took my friend 30 minutes (!!!) to replace them. Well, 520$ for 30min of work does not sound quite fair to me!
I will never do business with firestone again.and ive used them for years because there nation wide.i called them they said they send a towtruck i called next morning thet saod bring the keys i did they gave me my paperwork for work agreement i go to get ny work stuff out they didnt even have it.they were very rude and lied about my phome number and it right thete on caller id.it cosrt me a lot of money to find my truck and ger it back.beware of this place they r not right at all.baaaaaaad!
I made an appointment to get a new tire after a blow out on my Firestone tire with only 7200 miles. I was told the appointment would take 1 hour. It took more than two hours. The back seat of my car is covered in grease. The car is almost brand new where they touched the seat with their greasy hands when the put the spare tire away. When I went to pay I noticed I was being charged Road Hazard insurance. David Siegel did not ask me if I wanted it. He just added it to my account. The gentleman that check me out was delightful. His name was Tian. If not for Tian, this review would have been a negative 5.Also, I have an ECT on my new vehicle. They disabled my ECT. I had to google what an ECT was and look up how to reactivate it. If they are going to change a setting, they should change it back before turning it over to the customer.Thank you Tian for making the Road Hazard credit so simple. Your people skills will take you a long way.....
Manager Mike is so professional and kind...he is a amazing young man...Tian in the mechanical dept awesome...we have used firestone 3 other times ..Mike is wonderful each time as we often have the complication of my husband being in a wheelchair and now the service dog. They both explain things in English. I trust the work that is done...we have never had a issue ..prices are comparable to other auto shops...plus you have the Volusia Mall and books a million to roam about while your car is being worked one...although work is done quite quickly. I have peeked at the mechanics and all are working at cars..I have never seen a mechanic just sitting..they have a pleasant clean waiting area with coffee tv and free WiFi....
I would give less than 1 if I could. We got a flat tire getting off of the highway (we live in ft Lauderdale so a donut tire not working) and we tried to go to firestone for new tire. Do. Not. Go. Here!!!! They had over an hour left before they close. Guy who works there, Tean, had some paperwork and the other guy had a tire to change so he passed us up & said they could not help us!!!Calling headquarters tomorrow.
Good and honest people to take your car to.
I went in to have my brakes serviced. I ran into many issues trying to figure out what part was causing the issue. Mike worked with me to get my vehicle fixed and waived the fees of quite a bit of labor.
On Monday, August 6, 2012 one of our company vehicles went to this Firestone in Daytona Beach to have a tire repaired due to a nail in the tire. The tire was fixed, and at the same time they stated to our driver that another tire had a screw in the side wall that could not be repaired, but needed to be replaced. The driver told the person that he did not have the authority to make the purchase without authorization from the office. They told the driver they received the authorization, when in fact, they did not. Nor did they show the driver the tire with the screw in the side wall of the tire. The cost - over $200.00 to fix a flat and buy an unneeded tire.BEWARE OF THIS FIRESTONE CENTER!!!
They are always very helpful and they do good work.
Awesome mechanics and the Manager Brad is very nice guy
Very pleasant experience. This is indeed rarewhen I have any repairs done, too actually snjoy the appt. From start, to finish. Thanks to a very nice & courteous gentleman named Tian, who made me feel like I was being taken well care of throughout the whole experience great job Tian, your going places in life with that attitude.
Did a great job on my car
Droped off car for alignment and after pick up car stll going to the right. Technicians did not do alognment and didnt not provided adjustment report
Convenient but VERY EXPENSIVE!!! Staff is nice.
I own and operate an auto collision repair shop. One of my customers which happens to be a 70 year old woman was stranded 200 miles away from home in her Honda Odyssey .Her towing company towed her car to this service center. The supposedly professionals there told the woman she needed to replace anAlternator and the total repair cost would be $500. The car was towed at 4:30 PM to this center . They close at 7:00 PM. They said they could not help her until next day after they knew she would have to spend the night in her car on their parking lot. I felt bad for my customer and I found a mobile mechanic in the area. The mechanic had the car toewed to his house and repaired the car which he finished at11:30 PM. After he finished repairing the honda,The mobile mechanic called me to tell me that there was nothing wrong with the alternator.A tensioning pulley had gone bad which caused the belt not to be tensioned and therefore the alternator was not turning and not charging. The repair cost was less than $150.Whatever is the case here, be aware of this service center . They either do not know what they are doing or they deliberately ripp people off.
Excellent customer service.
They have your complete car needs there & wonderful employees to help you in all your troubled situation, so check them out.
Great service, got me in quickly
Bad place!!! They came with excuses to not do the job. Then they said that if I want they can do it tomorrow. Do not trust this place
Bad Customer service
Great service
Great service and great staff!!!
Good service
Excellent work!
Rude people, unhelpful, not honest, it shouldn’t be mechanic shop
Excellent service.
The only phrases in their vocabulary are replace this or replace that
Was not at FirestoneWas in the mall

Good service!!!!!! 👍
They helped me with the spare tire because they did not have the size I needed ... thank you very much.
