It was time to replace my 20-year old system (furnace, ac, coil). I had used Qualtech (Daniel) before for repair I so called him, and because its a big ticket job I got quotes from other 5-star shops. Anyway, Daniel came in significantly lower for a Trane system that had better specs and brand name than what the other shops were offering. Its incredible how much of a price difference there can be. When it comes to honesty and fairness Daniel is the real deal.Anthony and Leandro did a fantasic job with the install. We do not have a spacious mechanical room and the AC had to be hauled down a hillside in the rain. They did it - and worked for 10 hours until the job was done. They also installed a Clean Effects electronic air filter which means my air is cleaner and I never have to buy disposable air filters again.Quality work at a fair price. Highly recommend.

The technician came to our house 30 minutes before the scheduled time. My wife attended to it because I was on a call from work. Once I was done with my call I came to see what was done 15 minutes later. I noticed the technician had already left. Upon reviewing the bill ---my wife being ignorant of what they did-- approved, I was in shock and called Qualtech for an explanation of what I paid for. None was given to me.Dark business practices charging people without disclosing what you pay for -- parts and labor. Paid $425 (see the attached invoice) for 10-15 mins of the technicians time and a $25 capacitor that got blown from a power outage. There was nothing wrong with my A/C at all.The lady who answers the phone is very nice to take your requests and $$$, but very rude if you call with a customer concern. I asked for a break down of what I paid (parts and labor), and she almost yelling said We dont share that, we only charge a fee. Very rude and careless.Stay away from these people, and ask for a breakdown of what you pay for. Now that were in a dry and hot season in California, they are taking advantage of people.

Called them for a/c repair around 7:30 am. They showed up around 9:30 pm and fixed the problem quickly. The unit was 20 years old and I thought they would try to sell me a new unit - like most other repair places - but they said they could fix it for a nominal amount. They did and it works great. He had the part to replace the offending part in his truck so it only took 20 minutes to repair.

Great service. Arrived on time for appointment, and gave me a fair price for the repairs needed. Technician did not push to replace heater or unnecessary items. Just honest repairs. Great local company, they deserve more than 5 stars. I’m glad I now have someone reliable to call when needed.

I did my research before hiring a local company to replace my ancient heater and air conditioner. Qualtech was hands-down the absolute best I found. I believe in supporting local, family-owned businesses. And they did not disappoint. Priced between $400-1500 less than the other 3 estimates I received. Office staff was incredible, very detail oriented, and able to answer all my questions quickly. Edgar and Omar, the gentlemen who handled the installation were 100% professionals; very polite and helpful. They explained the new thermostat functions and programming, without rushing through it. I received a call and an email a few days following the installation, just to check in, ensuring that everything was operating smoothly and to answer any questions that may have come up after using the new equipment for few days. A very professional group, if I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would. I will gladly refer anyone needing any kind of heating or AC repairs or installations to Qualtech without hesitation.

GREAT EXPERIENCE start to finish! I recently had to have my entire furnace, air conditioner and ducts replaced. I had two other local companies out for estimates before Qualtech, one of which rescheduled a few times before actually making it out--not a good sign. The rep for Qualtech was on time, was very thorough with his information, and provided a very competitive quote. Work was started just a few days later. The entire project was completely quickly and flawlessly. They were meticulous about cleanup. The entire staff is amazingly polite, friendly and informative. Im so happy with the new system, it works great and is much quieter than my old units. Will absolutely recommend them.

My husband and I decided to update our heating/cooling system since it was original to our 1970s home. We contacted 3 separate contractors and based on time/cost/ and professionalism, we decided to go with Qualtech. We were given a time frame and on the start day, right at 8:00 a.m., they were at the door. Work began immediately and the entire crew worked endlessly and professionally. We were given a 3 day time to complete and at the end of the second day, work was completed. Daniel showed me the ins and outs of the furnace and thoroughly showed me how to set the new thermostat. We were very happy with the work that was done by Qualtech. Two days later, a major rainstorm came through the bay area and through no fault of Qualtech, our roof developed a leak. I called Daniel to see if he knew a roofer we could call that could take care of the problem. He called a roofer he knew but he was on his way to another roofing emergency so Daniel braved the rains and drove to our house to do what he could. Major emergency diverted. We would definitely use them again if there was ever a need and would recommend Qualtech to anyone who has a need for heating and/or cooling.

I recent have my central heater and AC installed by Qualtech. They did any awesome job. They addressed all my concerns throughout the job. Daniel, Jennifer, Jesus and his crews was great. They are very easy to work with. I would recommend anyone who need their heater or AC work on. I also want to mention that Daniel give me a very competitive quote compare to all other companies in San Ramon and Concord. I went with Qualtech cause Daniel was very personal and very knowledge. I just want to thank everyone at Qualtech helping me with our system. Once again, thank you great company!!!

Daniel and crew did a great job on our installation. Ours was an under house installation in a 4 foot crawl space with AC. We needed to relocate the heater and replace all of the duct work. We were told the installation would take 2 days and it did. The crew was on time, professional and courteous. We needed to make a slight adjustment about 1/2 way in and the crew immediately responded. Later we discovered a minor issue and they were right out to remedy. Great to have a contractor do exactly what they promised. Thanks Daniel!

Everything went smoothly. We have 2 separate systems and the one upstairs never seemed to be adequate. Daniel proposed a couple of changes as well as a larger unit at a very good price. Everything was explained up front and the install was on time. Thanks again!

Use this company ONLY if you want to be over charged and lied to. They claimed to have a office in Brentwood,( Mariam ) a lie. Five minutes onsite estimate cost $95.00 and turns out that it’s $2,500.00 more than what a HONEST contractor charges. BEWARE!!!

I was in desperate need of an AC system and I called around a few places. Qualtec was the best of them all. I got an instant quote, i had a member come to my house for fee and give me the step by step on the installation and the materials and I had great customer service. I will recommend them to anyone in need of AC or heating services.

I agreed to pay the $85 to have a person come to my house because my AC did not work. Someone came out and said my outside unit wasnt getting 240volts. He checked the main service and said the breaker was getting power but no power to the box at the compressor. He said I needed an electrical issue and left in about 15 minutes. That night a friend tested for power at the box and said there was power so I called DANVILLE Qualtech back and the same person came out and tested for power and said the way my friend tested was not true 240 volts but could not explain what it was. Testing at the main service he noticed the breaker next to the breaker labeled AC was tripped and then left my home. After I investigated that breakers function I realized it was mislabeled and indeed it turned out to be the AC, if the tech person had spent a few more minutes he could have easily discovered that power was available to the AC by resetting both breakers then he could have at least tell me what was needed to fix my AC in this 100 degree weather. I called Qualtech on Friday and explained the circumstances and was told the manager would call me back but no one called back. I called again on Monday and was told the same thing but no one called back. That was a week ago. I think they rather get my $85 service call than really fixing my AC or giving service to their customers. They certainly dont care if a senior is exposed to 100+ degree tempatures in the middle of summer.

I finally found an AC Repair company I can trust! Very professional, clean, prompt, competent and friendly. They repaired a number of things for me (including cleaning up the mess of another AC Repair company), and left us in working order.

Very Bad Experience and No Star For Qualtech of Danville- The tuneup offered by them appears to be more of a conn than anything else. I paid +$160 for two units and one day after the service one unit stopped working. I call Qualtech back and they told me the starter need to be changed and that will be $180 to begin with. Doesnt this sound familiar!! By the way, I called my home warranty and their technician fixed my unit and the issue was not with the starter.
