I highly recommend Superior. I called for pricing on a new heat pump and air handler. The company was very knowledgeable on the equipment. I was given multiple options and details for each option. After committing, the package was installed in a timely manner. The 3 man crew showed up on time. Very nice and professional while on site. The quality of workmanship was top notch. They made sure to inform us on the use and maintenance of the unit. When they left it was cleaner in the area that they worked in than when they arrived.

David was our service tech, on time and professional. Asked what we were experiencing, and got straight to diagnosing the problem. He figured out parts quickly and had our heat running again in less than 2 hours from showing up.

I called Superior the other day because my outside AC unit’s fan would not spin 95% of the time. Superior called and showed up as soon as the rain broke.The tech found it was the capacitor and because I had purchased through Young’s Heating and Air, was still covered under warranty.The tech was very professional and answered all of my questions.I will definitely be calling Superior for any future issues.

AC went out on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend and I called the number. About an hour later I received a call from a tech and he was able to replace my capacitor and cleaned out the coils. Took him less than an hour and I was back in business. He was super knowledgeable and helped me diagnose the problem over the phone.

I absolutely recommend staying away for this company at all costs! I called for a service call because my furnace would run constantly or rarely ever shut off. The service man came out and said the problem was I had dust on my coils and he brushed the dust off. I might add there was not a lot of dust. He told me it was normal for the fan to stay on for a while after your house reaches desired temperature to get all the heat out of the heat pump. I told him it had never done that before and stays on for hours. I was charged $90.00.Right after that the outside temperature was not too cold and I did not use my furnace much, but when it was on it still rarely shut off. We then had a cold snap and my furnace never shut off. I called Superior and told the receptionist my furnace is still doing the same thing it was before I received the service call. I asked would I still be charged for another service call for someone to come out and she said yes. I told her I work all day and if they could call me when they had a opening and I would try and get home. She told me they were really busy because of the cold weather and they would call me as soon as possible. I called back a few days later and talked to same receptionist and told her my furnace has not shut off and my heat pump fan keeps turning on and off and I am worried I am going to damage something worse if I keep the heat pump on. She told me that the heat pump should not be turning on and off and that might be a issue but the furnace not shutting off is normal since it is so cold. I told her it had never done that before and she said we will get someone out there, have a nice day is a very condescending voice!I then called Comfort Cooling Heating and Air and they got someone out the next day and the service man diagnosed the problem in 3 minutes. He told me I had leaky coils and that he had seen that a lot with the model year furnace I had. He told me I had been running on auxiliary heat and my power bill will be high, which it was. The main reason I strongly do not recommend using Superior Heating and Air Conditioning is not because of the initial mistake, everyone makes mistakes, but because of their total lack of resolve to try and correct their mistake. I payed $90.00 for a service call and got absolutely nothing in return, except a exceptionally high power bill which would not occurred if the correct diagnosis had been made to begin with, plus a rude receptionist trying to tell me there was nothing wrong with my furnace when in fact there was.
