A&E Factory Service is the worst company I’ve had the displeasure of working with. They were selected by LG to carry out repairs on our practically new washing machine. First, the repairman caused more damage to the machine than we had in the first place. He must not have tested his work very much, because soon after he left we found water leaking in the floor (that hadn’t happened prior to him working on it). You would assume that we could call and have him come back that day given the severity of the problem. Absolutely not. The call center refused to put us through to him or help in any way. They made us wait for when the next part was scheduled to be installed (which had nothing to do with what he’d broken). He seemed like a nice guy and I feel like he would have helped us if we could have gotten in touch with him directly. From that point on it was just one frustration after another, resulting in weeks of an unusable washer leaking in the floor. The call center was impossible to deal with. Their English is moderate at best, and they either don’t understand the problem or aren’t willing to go to any length to help you. We kept receiving promises that people would not follow through on, and was bounced back and forth between them and LG. After hours on hold we were left with a leaking washer they never fixed. Do yourself a favor and avoid working with this company.

Kenmore 3 years old double door freezer on the bottom, the bottom of the right hand door collapsed so the door wont close. 3 years old! THIS WHY SEARS IS OUT OF BUSINESS. THE REPAIR MAN WAS PAID $119 TO DO NOTHING EXCEPT FOR TELLING ME IT WILL COST $850 TO REPLACE THE DOOR.

I was supremely satisfied with my washer repair from Sears Home Services. The technician arrived a little early, diagnosed the problem in almost no time, and then proceeded to fix and clean my washer. Ill do a little follow-up cleaning with white vinegar that he recommended. It was so easy to schedule an appointment on-line. Highly recommended!

Every thing went very well. The Mechanic did a good job in repairing my riding mover. I thought the cost was way too much but the mower works fine now. The Mechanic went out of his way to explain and show me the problem. He was outstanding and most professional as well as friendly.

After the birth of my third child, and my second child coming down with strep and vomiting all over everything...our washer broke. We went through the at home diagnostics provided by LG and by our estimate, the drain pump had failed. As the pile of really awful laundry piled up, I went on Sears website, filled out a very brief service request and was given an appointment time for the next day. The repairman texted me and gave me a pretty close estimate of what time hed arrive and when he got there, he listened to my description of what wed done up to that point and agreed that it was likely the pump. The part was on the truck, in an hour and half, we were signing paperwork and paying him. The washer was fixed within 48 hours of it breaking (because everything breaks on the weekends) and weve been able to get our laundry pile back to a manageable size. Would definitely call them again for appliance fixes.

Technician was great...very friendly, polite, and knowledgeable about repairing my range. I would give him 5+ stars. The scheduling system, however, is a joke. Was told between 8-5 and to call morning of appt. for more exact time. Did that and was told 9:30-11:30. When no one had called by 11:30, I called back and was told between 11:30-1:30. When no one called by 1:30, called again and was told 1:30-3:30. The technician finally came about 4:30! What is the purpose of being given a time frame, if it is going to be changed multiple times. Really need to come up with a better scheduling system!

Service was originally scheduled for 6/29/17. When the needed part that had been shipped by Sears didnt arrive in time, Sears refused to reschedule us until 7/11/17. It didnt matter to the scheduler that we had a 3-day old we had just brought home from the hospital and needed our washing machine to function! If you use Sears repair service, be extra sure that they will actually mail you the part you need in time for it to be installed or you will have to wait another 2 weeks! I will say that the technician who did both our estimate and work was excellent- very friendly and knowledgeable and apologetic.

After 2 (1 missed for ???? reason as I was here waiting) appointments, the technician arrived and stated that the temperature which affects the operation of the ice maker was set too low for it to operate as it should. He reset the temperature, and removed frost on the bottom of the unit, and said that would correct the problem. To date, 5/17/16, the ice maker has produced 5 ice cubes. The operation of the ice maker has not been completely satisfactory since the installation of the Samsung Refrigerator, and is of no use at all as of this date. How about we try this again and this time leave the band-aids at home and repair this thing as it should have been to start with......;

Wish I could give no stars. Save your money and call someone else. First of all they tell you they will be there anywhere from 8 in the morning to 5 in the evening. Come on thats 9 hours and like the rest of us dont have to work. So the guy shows up and my wife asks if he would please take off his shoes because we just put in new carpet and the guys gives her a go to hell look and says nothing. Then we tell him what code our washer keeps giving us and he proceeds to tell us our house is cheep and we might have to add more support under our house. Umm we have lived here 16 years and never had a problem with a washer. Then the guy cant find the code and says he leveled the washer and if it keeps spitting out the code to call them back. Here is the $109.00 bill. Yea I dont think so bud.Sears this is bad business and if this is how you are going to make your money then you wont last long.

Im asking for help repairing my washing machine.Ive been waiting for my machine to be repaired for more than a month now. I pay for an extended warranty so that I can have repairs taken care of easily and quickly.I first reached out to Sears in April for assistanceAfter waiting two weeks for a repairman to arrive, he came to the house, looked at the machine and told me he had to order a part.I waited another two weeks for the part to arrive and for the repairman to come back to install it.A new repairman arrived the second time. This one diagnosed a different problem and said the first person made a mistake. This person too said he could not do the repair because it required a part to be ordered.I again waited another two weeks for the ordered part to arrive and the repairman to come back.The repairman came back with a coworker and disassembled the stacked machines leaving the dryer in my kitchen blocking the pantry. When he began to work on the washer he discovered he ordered the wrong part and could not fix the washer.He reordered the correct part and scheduled a repair for two weeks later. He left and the dryer stayed in my kitchen blocking the pantry.I called to complain about the poor service and mistakes and was sent a $20 gift card for my trouble - mind you we are a family of four and have not been able to do laundry at home for weeks now.The part arrived a week later and a different repairman showed up alone to install the part. He installed the part and because he was alone he left the dryer in the kitchen, unattached and unusable.This week I was finally able to get help putting the dryer back myself so that I could use the washing machine, which I had been told was fixed.The washing machine does not work. It will not even turn on.I am beyond frustrated with Sears and their repair staff which have proven unable to do their job at every turn.At this point I want a new machine and want this to end.

Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator, three-years-old. Water filter was not coming out when door was opened, something I had no problem with until recently. The entire housing unit had to be replaced. It was a small part, but cost $120, and labor was an additional $130+. I was told about an online coupon for 20% off, which helped. The repairmen that came out were nice and professional. The technician who installed it (technician #0678748) was very professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant, and went the extra mile to look my entire refrigerator over. He found a cracked in the water hose which has caused problems in the past and there was a cracked on the outside of the plastic covering on the part which hooked into the back of the refrigerator and fixed it at no charge. He also made sure the water was working properly and also ran a couple of gallons of water through the filter for me. Im not impressed with this refrigerator, but was very pleased with the technician.

I stood there and watched him work on my riding mower and I nearly talked him to death by asking him questions and with a smile he answered them all as he worked. When he finished he cleaned up and I was so pleased with how my lawn mower was running and the service.

This service call was number 8 for this 2012 dishwasher. It is not fixed!!! They have replaced every part in it under warranty but the way we understand it they were all refurbished parts that Sears provided. We are disgusted!!!

We had to reschedule the repair visit several times, because the parts took longer than necessary to show up. They came in more than one package over a two week period. Once they all arrived, the repair was completed, and all is well.

The first repairman didnt do any trouble shooting, just said the dishwasher had a bad pump, it didnt, it was a flow switch that left water in the dishwasher. Second guy discovered that after replacing the pump. I indicated that the seal on the door was bad, they said it was ok. After a month without a dishwasher during the holidays, and three trips to my house, the dishwasher is still unusable as the seal on the door pours water on the floor. I am canceling my maintenance agreement and will not use Sears repair again. A total fiasco that cost me over $300 without any results!

The serviceman did an expert job once we got a service date. It took over 6 weeks to get an appointment. We had one on the washing machine scheduled for a little over three weeks from the time it broke. Sears called and rescheduled for another three weeks. Can you go without washing your clothes over 6 weeks? We couldnt. We happened to have a used Maytag in the basement and so we hooked it up until Sears could finally get here.

If there was such thing as a 0 for a rating, that is what this service would be rated. This service was the fourth visit by a technician to fix our microwave. To make a long story short, this is the second time parts were ordered and not installed. Nothing was done and the microwave is still not fixed. Customer service has been AWFUL!

I have a Samsung refrigerator that I like very much.The refrig stopped working and the only repair place available was Sears to work on Samsung.The repairs was great and it works well, BUT...The repairs took too long.1 week to come look at refrig, 2 weeks to get parts are refrig repaired.Timely repairs, NOT!

This review is in reference to our riding lawnmower. Weve always maintain a great relationship with Sears Maintenance but as of 2016, our view has changed drastically. The technician was ill-prepared (he could only accept cash and then did not have change to give us). On the second service call we were not given a receipt, so it was our word against the employees and we were then bombarded with collection calls and letters about a payment that we knew was taken care of. We finally grew tired of the constant calls and mailings and paid the collection company on 9/19/16.
