I enjoy the instructor led classes. The coaches are motivational, energetic and fun. I would have gone five stars, however, they recently changed the class schedules, offering the same class all day long. I was going at 7 am and again to a different class in the evening, now with the change, this effectively cut my workouts in half.I emailed the contact in the application and suggested that maybe they can offer the morning coach to teach one class and the evening to teach a different/complimenting class and still rotate both day and night so everyone can have access to all of the classes on either schedule and was told it would be considered, but I doubt it will ;).
The pricing is right up there with training. The classes are small enough to where you are getting one on one training - which is great. My only complaint is you get so used to the staff and coaches then a month or so later boom they are gone and are replaced. It has happened to numerous coaches. Everyone has been friendly, but it is very disappointing and sad when it is a constant chain of different coaches all based on the same reason. I left the gym at the end of my contract and went back to my old gym where there are familiar friendly faces.
Awesome classes coaching is very motivational .great place to get fit and have fun and learn self defense. And participate in a kickboxing infuse class.glad to be a member of the gym it has made improvements in my health and wellbeing and getting fit
Beware of this business!! We have a special needs son who’s occupational therapist recommended martial arts for him to build core strength and build on his motor skills. Tap out fitness lied to us upon signing up saying they accommodate special needs kids and even said their classes are small so they can work one on one with my son. The last class we took our son to had 22 kids in the class most way older than him. The music is so loud the kids can’t even hear the instructors. There have even been curse words in the music. The instructors do not explain why they are doing the self defense movements. The kids sit there looking confused. The instructors have no patience with the kids. We have been trying to get out of our contract for 3 months and are constantly lied to saying Coach’s brooks is in a meeting and he’ll call us back but he never does. We left a 1 star review on their FB page and a few days later we were no longer allowed to comment on their posts or see any reviews. An honest reputable company would not lie or hide. This place is a disgrace and it is beyond me how they think it is ok to treat a family of a special needs child this way. We cannot even sign our son up with a martial arts place who actually does accommodate special needs children because they are still charging us a monthly fee and saying we need to pay them almost $300 to get out of the contract they LIED TO GET US INTO!
The Ji jitsu program they offer kids is a joke. Beware!!! The instructors seem clueless and they don’t really seem to be interactive with the kids almost just going through the motions if I had to guess the instructors probably have no certification to teach. My son has asthma and is having to do double dose on his inhaler when we get home, they try to make it impossible for you to cancel so beware and read the fine print. We did a month to month contract switched apparently to term and my husband said when he switched the owner or manager said he could still cancel if it wasn’t working for our son with a 7 day notice, but that’s not what the contract says and the owner or manager doesn’t want to honor his word because he has your signature. My son has had several minor injuries that could have been prevented if the instructors were actually watching and teaching, but as I stated earlier they are just there going through the motions. I would say if you are even considering letting your child take a ji jitsu class ask to see teaching certification for the ji jitsu, make sure you read the contract and understand what you are signing. On a side note I will be shocked if they make it another year in business here in New hope Ga. They just don’t seem organized and the way it’s setup is not conducive to what they are trying to do in my opinion. Customer service goes a long way and when someone wants out of their contract you don’t try and make it impossible on them because it’s a small town people talk and eventually word gets around that the company is ridiculous.
0 stars. Month to month. My son was out of town for the summer. They charge $10.00 to freeze your account and you have to pay a full month in advance to cancel. What the hell is the point of being MONTH TO MONTH? The instructors for the childrens class at 5p.m. are like children themselves they do not know how to give instruction and explain things to the new students joining in a class that has students that are already established and know the movements and the terminology. The owner of this particular branch was the one who went over my paperwork with me upon me signing my son up and he did not even talk about all these extra/ hidden charges. Tap Out Fitness DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CONSUMERS. All they care about is taking your money. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.
Intense, exactly what your body needs.
Ive never felt so at home. Seems like a huge family. I never thought Id enjoy group fitness the way I do. I always thought I was a lonesome dove at the gym. I go in do cardio lift a little and Im out. But here I go in say hi to my new friends, sweat, laugh and have a great time getting fit!!! Ive never sweat so much in my life. #fullbodyworkout #family
Beware of this company. They tend to charge your credit card without permission. I got charged over $750 and when I confronted them they wont admit they made a mistake or are willing to give me my money back.
Small gym, but I love it. The owner and the workers are nice and they offer a lot of classes there
A good place to stay in shape and release some stress! Great inspiring coaches aswell!
Professor Williams is an expert in the subject matter with kids and adults. We always learn something at each class.
Great workout! Great people!
Thanks for a great Brazilian Yoga class!
This is a rip off. They are only about the money. Classes are way too full and instruction is not worth it.
This gym only cares about money and to deactivate my account it’s $200+. That’s not right!
Helpful staff
