Longhorn Towing grabbed my wifes car from a visitor parking spot in Traid Wind app. 7 minutes after I arrived to my friends apartment.My friend and I rode behind the record truck and watched the driver sling her car from lane to lane and I watched him drive up to 8mph.The guy passed over the railroad tracks by blue Bell ice cream company on Syene. Laughing at me when I was yelling out of the car at him to stop. Today Im not currently financially stable, but if I was ild take them to court.The front end of my wifes car is messed up from the abused Longhorn Towing service caused.

I got a call from my fiance at 5 am stating that his car got towed. Keep in mind we signed the lease at the same time and got out sticker at the same time. For some reason his car got towed saying his sticker expired two months ago. Which is very insane because mines didnt. And she said it our fault. As I proceed to ask a question she says if you would stop and listen blah blah I said Wait lets hold on because you are not going to be rude and talk over me. GUYS DO NOT BE AFRAID to correct these people. I literally called back after being confused and frustrated. I simply and sternly called back and said it is 5 am and I asked you a simple question and there was no reason for you to talk to someone like that who just has a question. Where the heck is your kindness. I hope she gets a better attitude.

I have a reserved parking, from which I pay 50 dollars a month, because where I live theres no enough parking for the residents. I just came from work at 1am and found somebody in my reserved parking, I tried to find parking somewhere else but there was none than other reserves, so I tried to call like 10 times this towing service I let it ring for as long as it let me, and by the 8 or ten time a woman picked up, she was soooo up beat and customer service like, I dont have to say Im being sarcastic, right? She was like speaking through her noise, and I explained to her what happened, she asked me the apt name and I blanked out for few seconds, I told her give me a second because I dont remember and she just hang up on me!!! So rude! I called back with more insistence knowing that there was somebody on this so called 24/7 towing service, but I dont know if she saw my number right away and didnt want to pick up or maybe she died. I just had the luck (after one hour of searching) that I found another parking. This is the worst towing service I have ever seen!! Dont say you are 24/7 because obviously you guys are not, and find people to pick up the damn phone!!!!

Such a hassle trying to get my car back. First, their card machine want working and had no ATM there. They specifically demanded the exact amount to the penny. They dont care for explanations or why you may have been parked at a certain spot. I had just moved to these new apartment and didnt have a sticker yet. I didnt know I had to register my car online as a visitor. I parked to go get my cellphone and when I came back out, no more than 5min later, my car was gone. Its like theyre lurking around just waiting for sometime to make a mistake.

This company is criminal. We were at a airbnb and they towed my husbands car even though there was a parking pass on it. When we got out of impound there was obvious damage to the door of someone using a slim jim to pry the door open and the parking pass was missing. We plan to file a police report and join the effort in shutting down this scamming company. We also will seek payment of damages made to our car.

Worst towing service in Dallas. They will tow illegally, wont help you with finding out if your car is at their lot after they have towed it. The company will not answer phone calls. When you go to pick up your car they are very rude and they will not make change I was told to go get correct change if I wanted to and come back the lot is not near anything!! They will take the extra money though no problem. Its no wonder they are behind bulletproof one way glass.

My grandson car was tow away n when we went to pick up the car some items he had inside the car were stolen. Some money he had in a bag. His car charger n a handicap sticker he had on his windshield. So if anybody needs a tow truck I suggest u dont call Longhorn Towing cause some of your belongings will disappear.

The most low life people on earth, they saw me stop my car and get groceries out, i WASN’T even gone for a full 2 MINUTES and the car was gone, i can understand if it was 10-15 min but not even 2 minutes to drop off groceries or else i would of had to carry it from across the street about a football field away, when i called they said theres no way they can know how long the car was there but they can definitely wait 5 minutes . VERY SHADY HOW FAST THEY HOOK UP THE CARS AND LEAVE WITH THEM 2 minutes is just too fast YOU GUYS ARE CROOKS

Quick to tow visitor vehicles but almost impossible to get ahold of them to report a vehicle parked in your paid spot. Bizarre and slimy but given the location of this place I wouldn’t be surprised with these people.

This stupid wrecker service towed my new car cause they claim my apartment permit sticker expired. Well it expires the end of Aug and the Aug is right below the Feb so the punch looked more like Feb than Aug they said. First off, Ive had that same sticker for over a year so its funny how they never towed it before, second they towed it at 5:15 this morning. I leave for work at 6! So I called the 30 damn times on both #s before they even answered their 24 hours open location, and then once I told her I was on my way and did they accept credit cards she said yes. I get there and they are nowhere to be found. Waited another 20 damn minutes for someone to come to the window. Then find out they only take visa and mc but not discover or American express. So to the geniuses here, please let people know when they call you and ask you do you take credit cards that you only accept visa and MC!! Also when I finally got the gal on the phone and told her I was on my way, why when I get there it took another 20 plus minutes before the lady actually came to the window after I called another 20 times and they didnt pick up. You dont want the bad rep that tow truck companies have, first learn some good customer service, then dont come towing people at 5 in the damn morning. You people are the scum of the earth and I cant wait til karma comes back and bites you in the ass. Get a real job that takes a brain and an education.

This is a horrible company they towed our car due to the fact that the apt complex gave my fiance an expired parking sticker, 300 dollars later we get our SUV back but not without them completely tearing up the differential on our SUV. $1500 dollars in damages.They will not accept ownership or pick up the phone. My only option is to take them to court.

Towed my car even though it was registered to be parked in the apartments. When I called to see why she kept giving me the run around. When asked to speak to a supervisor they don’t have one. They towed my car from my own space at hours that they are not supposed to even be there. When I called to make sure my car was there they kept haning up on me. When the lady finally decided to answer the phone she was rude and gave me attitude so I gave her attitude back. When I got there she said they only accepted cash when there is a huuuuuge sign that says they accept cards. Wonder if they are all stealing some if not all of the money from the company.

Lies and breaks Texas state law to steal cars. If you or I did what they do outside of their tow trucks, we would be in state jail. This company has made a business out of it. Damages cars while towing them including alignment and suspension components. Document everything. Record everything. Take videos and pictures of everything. File complaints for every violation with TDLR. Read Texas towing law statutes and tow hearings database from SOAH about the latest rulings to fight these crooked companies and get your tow fees back in a tow hearing. Yes sue them. An attorney told me they regularly commit civil conversion when they improperly tow which is basically theft. Report towing violations to Dallas police. Many are misdemeanor offenses and ARRESTABLE. If they get enough they may start a towing compliance unit like Austin and Houston and start assigning detectives to start arresting these crooked towing companies.

As if realizing you parked in the wrong spot and your car has been towed isnt frustrating enough, and despite them having a sign right above the window that says they accept visa and MasterCard... Their machine is down and can only accept cash, and their ATM doesnt work either. And miss ding bat in the office is rude as hell and has no sense of urgency whatsoever. I really hate the the Fire Fly Apts uses this company. I have record of how many times I have called and how many times they have not showed up. Then if you call to check the status of the driver they NEVER answer. Lets see how it goes this morning, Im taking further action this time if the same thing happens. I am a veteran who proudly displays his service to his country with a OIF hat on the corner on my dashboard. My car was towed on Veterans day because I didnt have the appropriate sticker for my complex.Funny how that works....I tell my apartment manager I will get the sticker on that following day, then my car gets randomly towed.I went to the tow lot and was EXTORTED for $165 dollars by an unknown female before being allowed to walk their lot and find my car.After retrieving my STOLEN property and driving safely off the lot, I shouted back just exactly how I felt about the whole experience.

Just last night I was sitting in my SUV with the windows down at about 11 pm smoking listening to music, these SO Bs tried to back the tow truck and tow me while I was in it in my own apartments.They are very crooked unprofessional people and should not be in business!

Terrible business practices. One of my drivers commercial vehicle was towed. Naturally I had to pay to get it out. Whatever. They do not accept card however on a commercial vehicle and said cash only. This makes absolutely no sense and the law states with a notarized VSF form I am able to remove the vehicle as if it were mine. She said take your credit card and go withdraw cash. Obviously a corporate credit card doesnt have that ability. There was just no reasoning or working with them. Owner clearly doesnt care. I obviously didnt chose to do business with them and hope to never again, but they should be shut down for their unethical business practices.

I was a visitor at a friends apartment. I parked my car at 10:37pm I walked upstairs registered my car & at 10:48pm it had been towed. My friend & I called to see how much it was to get the car released or to see if we even had to pay to get it released since it was an unfair reason for the car being towed and the lady stated $155. We got to the place & the lady at the desk was VERY RUDE & had a HORRIBLE attitude & told me my car could get towed in a second if it needs to be. She stated that the price would be $165. I told her she had already said $155 on the phone. She still had an attitude so I began to get an attitude as well. As I walked to the back to get my registration out of the car she stated to her friend “Make her walk.” My ending total was $164. I was told two different prices and got neither. My car was registered in the visitors spot and still was towed. On my drivers side my left tire was a little low. Says they take cash, visa, or credit/debit cards, but they only expect cash. They just so happen to have an ATM machine at the window. Something isn’t right with this company & I will be REPORTING them, along with disputing the unnecessary tow fee.

This place is something special. My apartment complex uses them. I have a valid resident sticker, and I come out one morning and my car is gone. They claim it didnt have a sticker. After threatening to come down there and take my stolen property back by force, they brought my car back to me at no charge. It was completely covered in dirt. They forced the driver side door open with what was possibly a crowbar. Mind you I have a new car (2 years old) that was in perfect shape, and now the door is mangled. Of course the police cant do anything... you cant prove they did it. When I got my car back, there was the resident sticker, still on it. Imagine that. An excellent try, I give them an A for effort.A new resident at the complex reported that they caught the driver breaking into his truck and actually REMOVING the resident parking sticker. Word on the grapevine is that yet another resident started shooting at the wrecker about a month ago due to similar problems. Its a shame they didnt hit that bastard driving the tow truck. I wouldnt be calling 911 for him.

You towed my car illegally. I was parked outside of the property and not in the complex. Im filing a report for tax evasion. How can a business this big claim the credit card machine is not functional for months? If you read through the reviews you will notice everyone is being forced to pay cash. That is very suspect and very much against the law.You have a sign outside that states you will accept cash, visa and Mastercard.Usually people complain and move on. I will not give you the pleasure I will follow through on this case to the end. I encourage everyone to report this company so we get them out of business.

This company is thirsty for money.They basically get to pick and choose what cars they want to tow.I believe my car was broken into being that my car had oil hand prints on my dash .But let the company tell it they dont go inside cars. I need this video went to visit my friend @ 4:42 pm was in her home 1 hour max, called 911 thought my car and friends was stolen, dispatcher informed me our cars where towed, called and called Longhorn and so did she to find out the location and price no answer!!! Got to facility and the rude and uncooperative lady tells us her phone lines where down and we need to go get money from bank because she cannot except credit card REALLY!!!. She then tells us you can use our ATM which cost us $6 to use. Not only did we have to take out $180 to pay $175 tow, which the receipt showed $164.30 and a miscellaneous receipt stapled to the original which I did not notice was for $10 additional totalling $174.30.she gave us both back $5. After all of that she tells me since you have a Oklahoma City tag you must show your insurance verification after I supplied her with all of my information to pull up my car in her system. This is not going to be the last they hear from me.

The only reason they get 4 stars is because the customer service was descent. Usually people at tow yards are rude but this lady was really nice.

This company towed our car on Christmas Eve when the car was parked up the proper sign. The company should be shut down.

My vehicle has DV (disabled veteran) license plates and was towed in the middle of the night by Longhorn Wrecker. When we finally got a hold of them they said not everybody knows what that means. Longhorn refused to bring the vehicle back to where they towed it from. They said I can come get the truck. Not sure if I will have to pay or not.My thought is if you do this for a living, you should know basic traffic enforcement laws. If you run a business and you make a mistake, do the right thing and fix the problem.

Took someone here to collect the car that was towed. I mean, honestly speaking we all dislike towing companies, I mean its a lame feeling to have your car towed. Nevertheless at least, collecting your car here dont seem hard. Just have your Title or Car Insurance. The lady was nice. Really good service. A 3 for me, because its really, I mean really dusty! My car got towed on October 31st 2017. I went to pick my car up that same night from the facility, while I was going to pay I realized that my credit card was in my car. So I got permission to go in and not move my car and I said sure. Went in and my front bumper is detached from my car, another piece of my car is on the floor. I asked the lady if they will fix my car, she said to fill out a claims form I did this then she said return with 3 estimates, I also did this. She said the owner will contact me within a week. I said okay Miss what will I drive because my dashboard lights are all on. It has been over 2 weeks and I can not hear from Management every time I call she says call back at this and that time! I am forced to take legal measures now in order to get my car repaired!I understand it is their job to tow your car, but come on if you damaged someones property while doing so have the courtesy to call than person and fix the issue. I have been taking uber for 2 weeks now!

This company is trash, they are very crooked & shady, was told by another competitor how corrupt they are. They illegally tow people’s cars, knowing they don’t have a contract with the apartment complex. Then try to fight you on it, the lady on the phone and at the window is rude, thank god one can see how ugly she truly is. My apartment manager called them, to let them know they had no legal authority to tow my car. I got it back for $0 after waiting two hours because they like to BS you. At least I’m not the one who works in a dumpy ass tow lot. I recommend filing a complaint with the state which is what I will be doing.

I have to just say that I am a Marine Corps Veteran with some pretty thick skin but the ladies that are behind the other end of the phone are the most evil women on the planet, the most rude and vile people Ive ever met. Yes, people do get upset when there car/truck gets towed but when I called them to find out where they were located I was very respectful and showed no aggressiveness towards them. My first question to them was where are yall located ? And the response I got was Did you not read the damn sign? Like, really youre asking for it with a smartass response like that. However, as my blood began to boil I remained calm and told her that I wasnt even aware of a sign and if there was one Id still call and ask where yall are located and to make sure my vehicle is at that location. Is it wrong to ask for a little customer service from these people instead of being rude and vile right off the bat. Never in my life have I known of a tow companys lot EVER talk to people this way especially when the victim is being respectful. So at first I was going to pay my fines and get done with it but no because they were so rude yall need to know what to do to win a case against them. First, you do is file a complaint with Texas licensing and regulation authority which you can do online. Second get your car out and keep every receipt that is given to you as well and ask for hand written receipt on undocumented fees which the will do to you. Third find your local JP court and file a tow hearing with them, DO NOT file a tow hearing from the Longhorn people they will not follow through and will not give you your money back. I won my court case because they didnt even show up...and they now have 30 days to pay my money back and court fees. They have eight days left and if they dont pay then file another complaint with TLR and they will pursuit them and get your money back and even for a few more money back you can file another small claims case for grievance and they will have to pay that plus court cost. If that all fails call NBC news.

My boyfriends car was towed twice after they told him he was on the no tow list. No corporate office to complain to. No managers ever on site. These people are awful and so unprofessional. This place illegal tow cars, make sure you save your receipts and screenshot once you register your vehicle, and take pictures of your park so you will have evidence. Also start fighting back, if your car is illegal towed WE HAVE RIGHTS. It’s time as consumers WE FIGHT BACK against these money hungry tow companies. Keep filing complaints and take them to justice of the peace court but make sure you have proof, so take pictures if there’s no sign in the entrance and exits gates or buildings, take screenshots of confirmation if you have to register your vehicle to park and make sure where you park it says VISITORS ON THE GROUND. LeTs work together to keep these tow companies for taking advantage. Please just take the time to fight back so these companies can stop winning over us. They only keep illegally towing because not enough people fight back.

I hope every scumbag that works here never fills their life with any sort of joy or happiness because they dont deserve it. I hate this business with every fiber of my being.

They towed my car and told be it was covered parking when it was clearly not. Not only that but I suspect they got into my car and stole my wallet. I never lose it I left it in there also with my emergency break on and it just so happens my e brake was off and my wallet was gone. Very bad I understand the towing sometimes but not the stealing and getting into peoples vehicles.

I think this place is running a scam think they tow very quickly so they can get the money. Very bad experience woman behind counter all she could do was complain about how her relief didnt show up and she had to call everyone on her cell phone and tell them that. Also after we paid no Direction given on where were supposed to go or where our car was. It was late night and we had to wander around the lock to find a car

I bought a new car and before I could get my parking sticker, I was towed from my own parking spot. I month later two of my guests were towed. No bueno!!

Terrible towing they towed my friends car out of a visitors spot even though he was in towing saying he needed a sticker even though hes in a visitors spot. They made a huge mistake and now wont own up to it which should be illegal and need to release his car. The lady working right now is rude as hell and I didnt appreciate her tone so I wasnt going to be friendly to an incompetent rude worker. Hoping we can sue them for their idiot mistake. But they havent towed any other cars and we took pictures for proof they should pay the money to get the car out.

I am a business owner that has to deal with tow companies everyday owning a collision repair center. The owner of this company does not keep his word upon damaging property, they damaged our fence and did not even tell us,we found out by looking at our surveillance cameras and did not pay for damages even after we showed him the surveillance video., he had agreed to pay to fix the fence after shaking hands, I guess the days of shaking hands man to man does not have the value it should, at least not to the owner of this company. Stay away from using there services!

Shadiest towing company EVER. Towed thrice in a month. None of which were under valid towing terms. They will ask you to sign a waiver relinquinshing them of any damages before they bring the car out THAT IS ILLEGAL. DO NOT SIGN that waiver before you see your car. They knocked on my door to ask for $100 in cash to drop the car. Pocketing money while holding someones car ransom is some very serious ULLSH*T. Its called EXTORTION. THAT. IS. ILLEGAL.

They towed our car by mistake and in the midst of towing someone else’s car they dented my husbands work truck. I almost missed my nursing school exam because they towed my car.

No problem get my vehicle out at 2am.

The crusty lady who answers the phone sure let’s you know how bad this place sucks. The apartment complex i stay At is doing renovations. Until they are complete, they will allow tenants and guests to park on the fire lane as long as guests are registered, or tenants have a sticker to park. According to this rude woman, who literally sounds like she smoked her entire life, or some form of demonic possession, they are allowed to enforce the parking regulations over the property management team. I hopE they go out of business, and this woman goes back to watching the gates of hell.

They illegally towed my vehicle yesterday morning and returned it within hours after phone calls and reports to the authorities. The night shift operator was very rude. I have a sticker in my window for my apartment complex and they took it just to try and make a quick buck. This company is extremely crooked.

I hate Longhorn Towing company. They have towed my car twice from outside my apartment, where I live!!! I DO NOT understand why, we are issued with Longhorn parking stickers, ostensibly so they dont tow our (residents) cars..... but they find the least excuse to tow residents cars anyway, even when the sticker is displayed, and is current!! Why cant they leave a warning on the car, that obviously belongs to a resident? Why cant they warn that they will tow the car tomorrow, if you dont move it? Why not? ..... And they dont entertain complaints either. They are rude, inconsiderate and evil!!

Im visiting a friend at The Ava/ Vive apartments in Dallas off of Skillman in Dallas, Tx. My car was wrongfully towed and theyre still demanding $175 to release it back to me with no apology for their wrongdoing. When it was brought to their attention, all that was said over the phone was It wasnt clearly visible. This is bullcorn, and I will be coming back to speak to the manager of this apartment complex to get his money reimbursed.

Honestly the worst experience I have ever had with a business. I left my friends apartment at 11:30 to find my car had been towed from the visitors parking space where I had parked, and after 15 calls where I was put on hold indefinitely, we drove the 11 miles to their location, only to find out they were not accepting credit cards, even though their sign said they were required to. We then had to drive another 26 miles to my house and 26 miles back to get cash, and when my friend and I expressed our frustration, the woman working demanded my friend leave the property, meaning I would be alone in an unsafe area in the middle of the night, and when we refused she said we had to wait ANOTHER hour. After calling the police, I was finally allowed to get my car at 3:15am... Nearly FOUR HOURS later.Im reporting them to the department of regulations for towing when they are unable to accept credit cards, and for holding my vehicle after I had presented the cash to retrieve it.

At Oasis Spring Apartments a neighbor of mine car got towed twice, because this company did not give the office visitor tags on time, si now what? How come there is no legislation on this issue. They are sneaky, and come in the middle of the night to make a quick buck. The lady was parked in the visitor section. Somebody need to start helping the woeking class against these monsters.

Horrible, horrible! Worst customer service I’ve ever received, the receptionist was screaming at me over the phone! There was a mis-communication between my apt complex and I. My car should’ve never been towed in the first place. The towing company said they could do nothing about it, even though the apt manager admitted to the mistake. I understand towing is a difficult business but that’s no excuse to have such horrible customer service.

The human scum that operate this company will tow vehicles to meet their nightly, high quotas regardless of wether or not they are justified. They have no care in the world for what happens to your vehicle as they tow it away but be sure that if they do, you might get it back with numerous dents and scratches. The wrecking business is the closest thing to pure evil I have ever experienced.

They dont even deserve a single star but I had to add one. They tow cars illegally. This is the second time it happens to us at our apartment complex. Plus the way they answer the calls so rude. They are just a bunch of rude people that one want to get money the easy way. They need to be shut down asap!

Went to pick up my car and the lady at the desk wouldn’t allow me to get my because she claimed I needed registration, insurance and other things when all I really needed was my id so i went back home. Went the next day and just showed my ID smh WHAT A INCONVENIENCE

This is a horrible company who has towed my car illegally as their contract with the apartment complex I reside in terminated their contract with Longhorn Wrecker in Nov. of 2018. They are still holding my vehicle as we speak and each time you call, the lady who answers is extremely rude and will only provide limited information.
