I called Towing Riders because my 70 yr old mother was stranded during rush hour and needed an emergency tow. Although this company took the job, they didnt show nor call. My mother called them (1.5 hrs later) and they said the driver was stuck in traffic, which was understandable given the time (although at that point it was 7pm+). Still a no show (30 mins later), when she called back the story was the tow truck had broken down. This company is not represented as some small one truck outfit, but yet they left my mother on the side of the highway with zero communication. Ironically, it was a single truck outfit that saved the day at half the price of this company. Unfortunately they were not trustworthy in this case. I will never call them again.

I was stuck on the highway with a flat tire and I was lucky that I had Towing Riders Dallas on speed dial. The dispatcher responded quickly and was able to dispatch a tow truck to my location. I was back on the road within a matter of minutes.

Called and requested to have 3 scissor lifts moved. I was told over the phone that it would be a $69 deposit, and $40 for each lift to be moved.The move was less than a mile away.This ended up getting subbed out Chavez towing who charged me $450.Ive tried calling multiple times and left messages no one will call me back.Theyll sub it out to someone else, and let them rip you off.

Ran out of gas on north central expressway and mockingbird, no traffic at all and they took two hours to show up, the whole time telling me the driver is 10 minutes out.

Find a different towing company!! My BMW 335i broke down on the side of the highway in Dallas. I called and told the guy that I was shopping around and was interested in a quote. He quickly gave me the numbers and immediately proceeded to ask for my debit/credit card info. I asked him to slow down and break down the charges multiple times just to be clear. He tells me that the charges would include a hookup fee of $59 dollars, $65-95 depending on the difficulty of the tow, and then $4 a mile. I said ok and gave him my information. I got the tow and my car was taken to a local BMW shop without any issues. When we get there, the tech gives me a completely different price than what i was quoted. I asked for a breakdown of the charges and he said $59 for hookup, $95 for the difficult tow (max amount even though we were just on the shoulder of the highway), $4/mile for 14 miles, and THEN mentions a new highway fee of $35. I explain to him that I was NEVER told about this fee even after asking the towing representative for a detailed breakdown of the charges. The tech then tells me to call them back and deal with them so I did all while sitting there in this guys tow truck. The customer representative tells me that hed send our call recording to the driver. So were in the tow truck listening through this techs car speakers to the actual recording of the call. NEVER did he once mention a $35 highway fee. The tech then changes his story and argues with me anyway, saying that he risked his life trying to tow my car and that tows dont come cheaper than this. He keeps on and tells me that anyone else wouldnt have gotten to me as fast as he did. I told him that I was okay with all of the prices that I was given and quoted (EVEN for the difficult $95 tow fee that was supposed to be between a range of $65-95). The one thing i was not okay with was the random $35 highway fee. TBH, i dont care about the $35 but its the principle of it all. My car is still hooked up on the tow trailer and I was given a new price. It was like my car was being held for ransom. Pay this or you dont get your car back. Really? I try to refrain from leaving bad reviews, but I would hate for anyone to go through this situation especially someone with incoming expenses for car repairs like me in this situation. AWFUL!! FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO TOW YOUR CAR!!

To future customers, they were not pacific about the price and I let them know where I was located. I was 7 miles from home and I was asked for a debit or credit card and Im thinking Im ready to wait for a tow truck, just before the truck came, they called me back and said I need cash for the tow truck once my car is on the flat bed truck. I was pleased to see the flat bed truck. Have cash available people in need of a tow, you can not get your car off the truck with out it. I have called for Two weeks for a receipt, they tell we will send it to you on my phone, never received it and they are not trust worthy to me and thats not how you do business in The United States you have a right to a receipt for payment of product and service. I will report them to the IRS l have to pay my taxes every year and need my receipt, so I can give them their money and keep mine. Not good for business.

I rarely leave a review but had such exceptional service today, Jimmy picked up my car very quickly, was very professional, and before he hooked up my car, did a diagnosis on it! Very knowledgeable and courteous. I was about a mile from my destination and was going to walk, but he gave me a ride (which saved me from walking through a very seedy part of town).He then headed off to take my 4Runner to the shop, and as he did, I realized I had left my coffee in the cab of the truck. I wrote it off and went inside, not knowing he had circled around to bring it to me! He called a few times and left a message that he had left it on my friends truck bed, where I found it a few minutes later. Jimmy made a bad situation much easier to deal with. Thank you Jimmy. I appreciate the extra mile you went to help me out today, literally. :)

Called to request services, and as any client would do they want to know what they are paying for. I spoke to one very rude gentleman who was rushing me and wasn’t keen to explain what it is that was covered in the first initial $59 they were to charge me, asked him to explain better to were I can understand what the fees and extra they will charge once driver is dispatched, he clearly said I’m not going to repeat myself and hung up. What a way to serve your clients. Don’t even waste your time. Customer service is everything

Total scam. Was told a tow was $89 - which was exactly what my auto club quoted - but these guys could come in 30 mins, not 90. When they came and towed my car, I was handed a bill for $322! Breakdown:$89 - “service call” (which was to drive to me?)$45 - mileage - tow to dealership$120 - tow charge (so the service call got me nothing)$29 - special equipment - which was two pieces of 2x4 lumber - 2 feet long each, and re-used$39 - drop off fee - to get my car off the truck!!This is simply theft, IMO. I was only told “$89 for a tow.”

They charged me $250 to have a regular car that was loaded on bed in 5 minutes and towed only 10 miles. Maybe because it was an Audi he figured why not. I requested a better deal but he refused. I should have had him unload it and said no.

The tow company was fast and responsive. The tow driver was friendly, courteous, and very nice. I didn’t get his name unfortunately, but kudos to the driver. I would recommend to anyone needing a tow. Thanks for all your help on Christmas!

Probably one of the worst experiences dealing with any company. I was told the initial fee was $59.99 and the first 5 miles are free. We drove 1.7 miles and the bill ended up being $134. When we called to complain we were given the run around and then ultimately hung up on. Whatever you do, please do not use this company.

My experience with towing riders was great oracio the tow truck driver was on time and very professional. They set the standard for towing recommend them to everyone.

The driver was very friendly however I was told that he would give me a call 10 minutes after I called tow riders which he did not. I called them 30 minutes after my initial call to check on the driver at which point the phone operator was able to get in touch with him. I was told that it would take 30 min for the tow driver to arrive, however it took an hour after my initial phone call which was a little disappointing. I thought the phone operator was very professional and had offered excellent customer service. They explained to me that the service call would be $55 dollars and the tow would cost $35- $65 dollars depending on the difficulty of the tow. I was told and ask them to verify to me that I would pay a max of $120.The overall service from the initial call to the entire towing experience in my opinion was excellent, however I ultimately felt very dissatisfied by the pricing. My car was parked in my apartment complex and the battery died so it would not start. I was towing it half a mile to the auto shop because I couldnt get the battery out to change it myself. The driver put the car in neutral and rolled it out of the spot to put it on the flatbed(which took less than a minute). When I got the bill the driver had charged me $65 dollars plus an additional $20 dollars for labor. Altogether I paid $140 dollars to have my ford focus towed half a mile. I felt completely taken advantage of. I dont see why my tow would have warranted the $65 dollars tow fee(as opposed to $35) plus an additional $20 dollars for the little push he gave it.

Call around folks. Go with someone that gives you a firm quote.. not a convoluted it depends, but probably the lower cost answer. These guys are at least $50 more than the other tow companies. I will not work with them again.

My friends got a flat tire when they were trying to drive back to a different state and needed a quick tire change. We talked to Randall and he lied about how long it would take to get to us and charged us $100. Do not let them scam you and save yourself the hassle, DONT USE THEM.

Called to get my car towed. The guy on the ohine took some information about me and where my cars was located, said he had a driver in the area and they would charge me $59 to $35 and some kind of additional charges for out of city then immediately asked for my card number. Do not use them! I did not trust that so I hung up. The reviews are true they will scam you!!

I had a flat tire on 635. The guy on the phone was very helpful and nice. Although we had to wait a while for our service, the guy who arrived to help us, named Micheal, provided great service and worked quickly. Overall, they were very helpful.

Never experienced anything as unprofessional as this towing service. Was driving alone when my alternator gave out. Called triple A and these guys came and said they were with them and that I had to pay $200 before I could get towed anywhere. Turns out they were 100% NOT associated with Triple A and just targeted me because I was a young lady who was stranded. They took advantage of me. To make matters worse they were extremely rude and shouted at me when I questioned their affiliation with Triple A. Dont give them any business. Taking this case to the Better Business Bureau next.

My sister blew a tire on the highway on her way back to Oklahoma, she called these people and they told her they were associated with AAA and would be there in 20 minutes. They never showed and when AAA arrived they said they are NOT associated with this company. To make matters worse they charged my daughter $100 even though they never showed up and didn’t call to say they weren’t gonna come. SHAME ON YOU for taking advantage of a stranded 19 year old!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Towing Riders was very fast and very nice. The driver handled everything. I had an overall 5 star experience.

No complaints about the driver. But felt like I got scammed. Thought I was paying $130 total, ended up being $260. $130 was just the service call charge. There was an $85 charge for the actual tow, and a $45 charge because the car was on a highway. Exactly what the service call charge includes if not the actual tow beats me.

I had them tow my non-running car that was up under carport and had not been started or moved in 5yrs. Tires were flat. Required airing up all 4 tires and pushing car uphill and into alley. Driver did exactly as I asked and didnt fuss much. Did try to upsell on dollies to get entire car off ground but that was an additional $80 and I declined because I really couldnt afford it. Car had to go in a rear driveway at destination off an alley. Somewhat of a tight squeeze. Driver got it EXACTLY where I wanted it, and perfectly straight. Very happy with this company. Will use again. Price was reasonable. Not cheap but not expensive and when it was all said and done the quote they had given me over the phone was accurate! And there was no damage done to my vehicle despite low clearance front bumper. He used a jack to make sure my bumper cleared the arm on the tow truck when hooking and unhooking. He also drove carefully on the 5 mile trip which I appreciated very much. Very pleased.

Needed a tow late Saturday evening (5/18/19) & was referred to Towing Riders. The Tow Truck Driver Sam was very professional & took time to let me know what other issues my car maybe having based on his observations & he was cool enough to give me a ride home after he dropped my car off at the shop that was already closed for the day. I cannot even begin to explain how horrendous my experience was with this so called customer service establishment. I was driving to a location I had never been before and got lost unfortunately. To add insult to injury, I got a flat tire as my navigation took me down an old town road. When I called them they said they were affiliated with AAA so I thought my coverage would cover the fee. They told me it would. When I showed up, to my dismay I was made to pay the fee to get my vehicle towed and taken to a tire shop. I would not have had them come had I known they weren’t actually a AAA partner. When I expressed my frustration I was given the cold shoulder and told “there’s nothing we can do.” I could do nothing but sit there with my hat down in disappointment. Here I was across town from where I was supposed to be. They did not treat me with rockstar customer service. On top of all of this, their fees grossly exceeded the going rate for comparable services. Towing riders is a group of BONAFIDE scrubs. I’m appalled at their lack of basic customer service and disrespect. I am torn that I had to give them a star to leave this review. They deserve zero stars, in fact they deserve negative stars. If they were an NBA team, they would be the New York Knicks of towing services. Always talk a big game and leave you disappointed.

We called one company for my jeep that wouldnt crank. They said 2 hours and after 3 we called back to get a voice mail. Then I called another towing company and I could barely hear them, they were so quiet and they gave a 2 hour estimate. I called towing riders and they had a very professional answering service and were very easy to hear. They were very polite and professional. After ending the call my car was one the tow truck and driving off our property in 50 minutes. Very impressive. The driver was also polite, knowledgeable, and funny. This company is very good at what they do.

The tow man was excellent, punctual, and polite. That being said, the man on the phone said the mileage few would only be $65 max on top of the initial $55 fee if it was within city limits. He failed to mention that there was a 10k limit within the city before additional mileage cost would be added on. I had already told him my beginning location at the beginning of the call and after he explained the pricing I ask if the $65 dollar fee would be the max I would pay for the distance and he said yes. Pretty annoying for rhe bill to be $80 more than I expected.

These people are scammers. Straight up. Please do not use their services. They have scammed too many people. This instance, the scammed an innocent person who happens to be my friend.She was coming to visit, and had a tire blowout in the way. Towing riders said they were through AAA (they lied). Then charged $125 to come out. Then they said they would be there in 15 AND NEVER SHOWED UP. The actual AAA came out and confirmed they do not dispatch this company. Stuck in an horrible situation, your company took little time to understand and assist my problem. Once i called i prompt to a helpful dispatcher that for the life of me i cannot remember his name however i had no problem in communication with the sir who mad my problems obsolete. In little time the truck driver called and told me he was on his way. I appreciate all the notifications your company kept me with. Do NOT recommend. Was told it would be 30-45 minutes wait for a tire change, called after that time and they told me they were running late and would be 30-45 minutes more. Waited and after an hour and a half called again, apologized and said someone was on their way. They then called me to let me know no one could go out anymore because the only truck they had got “stuck in mud.” BS! So waited on them for 2 HOURS only for them to cancel. Absolutely terrible.

Blew my water pump. Of all the 24hr services, these guys picked up the damn phone. Driver got to me in the time promised (20 minutes) and was fast, and friendly. The whole ordeal was finished in about an hour.

These guys know what they are doing. Stuck late night on the highway with a flat tire and in less than 30 minutes did they take to arrive to my location, they offered a tow if there was an issue with my spare however tech had no dilemma in assisting me. Right tools for the right worker in the right time. Thank you guys for all the help. If I ever need help again I know who to call, faster than Jimmy Johns, no really haha thanks guys keep rocking!

Over charged from what the quoted amount was. Extra charge for additional equipment that wasnt even mentioned until I saw the receipt. In a time where someone is already freaking out, they take advantage of the situation. I wish honest and helping people still existed.
