We have been stuck on the road since 2.40pm waiting on this company to come tow our truck,they took our credit card information and charged us 475$ which is okay.but as I speak it is 4.56pm local time in Dallas Tx and no tow truck in sight,no communication from them.Do not give them your business!Not worth it at all!

I live in Oklahoma and my daughter had wrecked her car in Dallas! These guys worked with me by phone and made my life much easier transporting the car go a shop.

They called a tow driver who ended up ripping us off. They quoted $130, plus $4 a mile after 10 miles, plus $60-90 service charge. I was okay with that. They ended up charging an additional $75 dollars for special equipment and Special labor. I called them to tell the tow driver what they quoted me, and they said they could not do anything about it. Bad business. If you quote something, stick to it.

Very dishonest. Will give you ranges and then you get charged a lot of of extra for non-sense, items. Quoted me 10 miles free and the driver insisted in charging for mileage and other items, way outside of the higher end of the range provided. Be careful, specially if they use Christopher’s Tow.

Great on time service I couldn’t get the lugs off my spare and I lost the lock key Captain Towing were able to get the lock off and got me back on the road in time for me to make it to my friends birthday party I would high recommend them.

That was my first time that i had to use a tow service in my life, I broke down on the side of the HWY, I was really mad, I thought I am going to spend hours on that, I called this guys within 25 min there technician was on site, after another 15 min the car was loaded and within 30 min i was at home eating dinner, they guy was really professional and kind, seems like he knew what he was doing. The price was fair, I hope I wont need to use this kind of services again but if ill need, ill definitely use them again.

My car I s really low profile and I had 2 flats. The first company that showed up could not tow it because they didnt have the equipment needed. I called these guys and they did a fantastic job, they came prepared with skates and my car was finally towed! Not cheap but you get what you pay for, thanks guys

I had a transmission issue with my car and needed to have it towed to the shop. I made an appointment and the driver showed up on time, as promised, in a freezing rain storm. He smiled and was friendly the entire time, even though he had to get completely wet (my car was sitting in a huge puddle). After dropping off the car at the shop, he called me to tell me he had noticed a screw in one of my tires, and he wanted to make sure I had it taken care of. Very good experience, and will definitely be using their services again.

Dispatcher lied about price, timeline. He lied and said the vehicle was on route, when it wasn’t, lied to the Subcontractor & said we were okay with the wait. Took 2+ hours when their website said “within 30 minutes”

These guys were good. They were able to get into an older parking garage in downtown, which is a big problem for many other companies.They were very professional and I knew my car would be ok on the short trip to the dealership.

After calling several companies in the middle of rush hour, while other companies were giving me a 2-3hours wait time, I kept calling found this company. The person who answered the phone when i called was really friendly... Theyre Very on time... Fast and efficient... Reasonable price; they were very careful with my car. Will call them again just in-case I need their service. :)) which I hope I wont, but if I do they are the guys to go with.

Called them when my husbands car stalled. Randall spoke so fast, I had to have him repeat everything. Now, when a person is having car issues, they are thinking about a lot of other things at the same time, trying to tow their vehicle. Randall went through the whole process them blurted out numbers. To actually get a price, I asked him AGAIN how much was the tow. Very fast, he said after the maintenance call fee (which is $59, no numbers, just the words maintenance fee. I didnt hear that part until I had the driver let me listen to the recording, Ill explain further why) then it will be $35 - $75 (actual numbers being quoted) then a few dollars per mile after that. I repeated to him $35-$75? He said yes. I said ok lets do it. You have to give your credit/debit card over the phone, before they dispatch a wrecker. Randall then stated that the card would NOT be charged till after the tow. Within minutes after hanging up, I received a call from the tow guy. Speedy service, I will say. He met us at the car, then told is it would be $140!! Thats when it went south. I called Captain Towing and spoke to Randall and got nothing but attitude, then was told my card had already been charged the $59, told they were going to impound my car and when I said I would call the police, he stated good, it will make it easier on us. I asked to hear my recorded phone call, he said he would only send it to the driver. I finally gave up and just paid the $59. The driver was very courteous and understanding. He is the reason for the 1 star. But if you are looking to use this company, know that there are HIDDEN fees that the person answering the phone tries to rush through and that even you decide not to use the service, they will still charge you.

I called them to Installed a battery I couldnt do it because I had a kidney transplant. So the guy on the phone said it would be around 60 to 90 dollars a service fee of 59.00 to pick up a battery plus the price of the battery which was 150.00 for a cheap Duralast battery from Auto zone it was not even there better Duralast battery. Well when the so called battery installer showed up he didnt even know where the battery went I had to show him what to take off and how to install it. Then he couldnt put the bracket back on to hold down the battery. So after all that it took less than an hour to install I get charged 325.00 dollars for a battery installed which 25.00 dollars I dont know what that charge was the battery installer couldnt tell me. I dont recommend them at all. They are also called Dallas Towing they are crooks. I guess the owner needs the money more. Usually a battery installed cost to come to your place with a way better battery would be right around 250.00. Thats ok Im in the Automotive business I can recommend shops not to use Dallas Towing - Captain Towing. There is better people that do towing.

A $59 service fee, plus a $65-$95 quote for in town towning turned into a $284 OVERCHARGE. No special equipment was used, they pulled up, threw chains under my car, and drove my vehicle less than 5 miles down the road to the local tire shop and dropped it off. AFTER I WAITED 3 FULL HOURS OF The tow truck driver will be there in 30 minutes REPEATEDLY. They require a credit card up front so its not even like you can call another company after they give you the run around for 3 hours straight because they are going to charge the $59 service fee whether your vehicle is there or not they said. They double charged me the $59 service fee, so I have a $59 fee on my credit card, as well as a $225 fee, which includes the SECOND $59 fee! It was NEVER communicated that it would be over the $65-$95 dollars that I was quoted. There is no way I would have authorized a $284 dollar tow charge to go 5 miles down the road for a flat tire!!! I would have preferred to ruin my rim and driven it to the tire shop for $300 bucks instead of waiting for 3 hours to get over charged! AVOID AT ALL COST IF YOU DO NOT WANT UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES ON YOU CREDIT CARD THAT YOU NEVER ONCE APPROVED!!!
