I am writing this review to express the extreme professionalism and integrity of Glen and his team at West Valley Detailing. I called West Valley Detailing after receiving a $3100 quote from a local dealership for replacing my entire interior carpet & pad after I discovered a water leak coming into the passenger side of my car. I was also informed by the dealership that I would need to dry out the car & replace the carpet before they could even diagnose my water leak (not included in price quote). Searching for alternative options I spoke with Glen at West Valley Detailing and he was very kind, and reassuring, and he told me that there were many different options to remedy the water damage, and that needing to completely replace the carpet was a last resort. He also told me that he could probably diagnose the water leak very quickly and that if it wasn’t in his mechanical expertise to repair he would refer me to someone who could fix it, and that there was no reason I should need to pay for the dealership’s “rain test.” Upon working on my car Glen noticed that the leak was coming from my front windshield and that it wasn’t sealed correctly, he noticed it wasn’t an original windshield so he asked if I had recently had the windshield replaced. I told him that it had been replaced a few months prior as a part of an insurance claim, he then told me that I should work through my insurance agent but that I would be needing a new windshield and that was how all the water had come into my car. The auto glass company that replaced the windshield confirmed Glen’s findings, covered the replacement windshield and covered the restoration bill. If I had not brought my car to West Valley Detailing I may never have learned that it was in fact from a faulty windshield installation and I would have just assumed bad luck and paid thousands for new carpet, or possibly just sold my car altogether. This day in age, especially with car stuff it can be hard to find honest people. From the first time I spoke with Glen on the phone he had my best interests in mind, his communication with me and the other outside parties during the restoration was thorough and timely, and his attention to detail is exceptional. When I got my car back it looked amazing. I think it actually is cleaner than it was the day I purchased it. My dog is probably the only disappointed one in this story, I don’t know that I’ll be letting her ride in it again any time soon. I will always give my highest recommendations to West Valley Detailing, fantastic work and genuine people!
