Had an accident. Memphis police had my aunts car towed by them. My childs brand new car seat along with several other items I had just purchased. Word of advice. Go get your car as quickly as possible. I think that Memphis police department should be held liable for having cars towed by thieves. I read the other reviews and I am not the only person this has happened to. Someone needs to be held liable. Especially when you are paying. Youre paying them and they are stealing from you. And they dont care, you either give them money or they will be more than happy to keep and cheat you out of your car!

This woman in this photo is the most unprofessional person Ive ever met in my whole life. My car was totaled and they towed it from the scene of the accident. I had to wait until the next day to get my belongings it of the car and only after I paid a fee of $125 and turned the title over. She told me to shed meet me the next day at 3pm only to arrive at 430pm saying shed fallen asleep because she ate to much Chinese food. Who says something like that to a customer? If I wasnt a kind person I wouldve probably said some bad words. When I was allowed to get my belongings I had to walk through an inch of mud and oil several times until I recovered it all. NEVER CALL THEM TO HELP YOU. THEY WILL ONLY CAUSE FURTHER PAIN ON TOP OF THE SUFFERING YOU ALREADY FEEL DUE TO YOUR VEHICULAR PROBLEMS.

I absolutely love this company I will use them for every tow need from now on! The dispatcher was amazing and got someone to me in a timely manner and the driver was great he got my truck home and parked where i needed it and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with his tow job! Great service and great experience!

After paying a tow ticket completely out n retreving my vehicle DTS towing turned around n literally came back n stole my vehichle back n towed it from frayser to st memphis n hid my car til d MPD got involved n advised dim to return it or day would loose ther contract wit d city towing vehicles they released it again to me for 32 more dollars just because day had it n i didnt true storyFile with City Permits if u have had n experience like dis wit dim day r CROOKS

If I could give this place NO STARS I absolutely would. They are LIARS!!! They are so unprofessional. They verbally harassed me when trying to get my license plate off. They made smart comments about me trying to take my license plate off because I was a woman. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I have never felt more mistreated in customer service in my life, and I am a waitress at a 5 star restaurant. Don’t waste your money.

This company is horrible I would not recommend anyone to use this company the customer service is horrible at the most high they don’t care about inconveniencing anyone, was the agent was 47 mins late arriving to the office kept trying to make comments about her health process not caring how she inconvenience everyone also told me that I have to wait for whoever to go to the second lot which my car was at to finish what they were doing to get my belongings again another inconvenience because she didn’t care how long we had to wait but it was the worse experience and being that they are privately own the office person is RUDE if you are experiencing any type of situation and need a TOW or have an accident this would be the last company to call of you only had one last breathe to take they would definitely be the company to kill your soul. I have never dealt with a company with such negative customer service and she is just disrespectful at the max capacity.

Been doing business with these guys for 10 years and always had a lot of success and good pricing but today they charged me $350 for a 2 mile tow of my F350 after telling me it would only be $200

Absolutely horrible experience with lack of professionalism. They towed our car and gave us the wrong location to pick it up, then got an attitude with me. They said after the hr it is more than the 125 which is why I think they did that

My daughter and I waiting over two hours to open a gated lot to retrieve items in my daughter’s totaled vehicle. Originally had been stated it would be no more than 20-30 mins. My daughter called four times to the office and all they kept stating was that the person to unlock the gate was “ on the way “. Lot is also terrible. Vehicles are squished together, practically on top of each other. Very very frustrated to say the least..

Very helpful with telling me exactly what I needed to do get my car from one spot to the next and what to tell my insurance exactly word for word.

I purchased 4 new tires April 2019. September 2019, my front end caused me to lose control of vehicle I hit curve and blew out tire. Then I discovered a knot in one of the other tired. Yes I have a warranty. I took tires to company. It is almost April 2020 and I still dont have tires. I have paid over $809 for a product I only have 2 tires. U had to go to Firestone for new tires and got a good deal on front end alignment. Oh yeah, the gentleman at this company told me after that fact I needed an alignment not before he out new tires on my vehicle. I dont recommend this company to nobody. This actually gets 9 stars bustt not an option

I’ll tell you that if you want some who is experienced and courteous then reach out to DTS and make sure you ask for Curtis! He is the absolute BEST! I’ve never ever met a nice tow truck driver. And he TRULY KNOWS what he’s doing. You’ll be happy you reached out to them!

My mom was in an accident and dts towed her car they were fast and treated her with respect.

I was involved in an accident in Memphis and the city called DTS to tow the vehicle. This company and the employees have been extremely unprofessional and downright difficult. First, they wouldnt allow me to get my belongings from the vehicle unless I paid them around $300 to release the vehicle (which I found out they had to allow me to get my possessions regardless). Second, on trying to get some of my money back, Im selling the car to U-pull-it but DTS wont allow them to come get the vehicle without them using a certain type of tow truck with a city sticker (whatever that has to do with anything) This company cares nothing about me and has done everything they possibly can to try to make this an impossible situation. All they care about is money and they have treated me with disrespect throughout this entire process. I dont recommend them to anyone. Just so everyone knows... they have to let you get your possessions from your vehicle, whether you can pay or not, it is the law!

My car was towed here after an accident. After I paid, I had to wait because my car was blocked in, but the staff was entertaining.

This was the second time I’ve had to call for a tow (usually my partner at the time would handle that if needed) so I was a bit nervous. The dispatch, Melissa was such a pleasure to deal with, she even answered some silly questions I had since I was nervous. The driver showed up, was friendly & very polite did the inspection around the car, I signed off, paid some money (reasonable price) & my car got loaded and was gone. I would definitely use them in the future if I need a tow

Called DTS when I was broke down on side of 240 talked to a person told me price and time they would arrive. Arrived on time and priced as was quoted on phone. As always not the best of times when you are broke down. DTS made day work out and got me home. Thanks

THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST TOWING PLACE AND PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH PERIOD. THE OWNER ATTITUDE IS HORRIBLE ESPECIALLY WHEN DEALING WITH A WRECKED VEHICLE. IF YOU CAN DEAL WITH ANY OTHER PLACE I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO DEAL WITH DTS TOWING PERIOD.

I dont know why the city of Memphis is allowing this company to pull for them. The people are rude and they have a F rating with the Better Business Bureau they have numerous negative complaints on Facebook until they removed their page. They will damage your vehicle and will assume no responsibility for it. They allow their driver toget away with stealing and mishandling the people of Memphis property. I WILL be filing a complaint with City and contractor department about their contracted vendor that not servicing the community. I do not recommend this company at all.

Towed my tractor for 1150 then they came back and towed my trailer for another 1150.(2300 after storage and fees) The problem is why did they separate my truck from trailer which where connected. The city permits office is working it out with their attorney right now. Every tow company I called qouted me at no higher than 800 bucks. They also tried to make pay a driver,then he leaves, then sit and wait for another driver to release my truck noooo siiir.. con artist. I got my money back😂

Needed a tow and wanted $600 and would only take cash because he said he was doing this off the books. Who carries that much cash on them. He said f*** you and said good luck finding a company that will take credit card and left. I called elite towing and they came out and towed me for 150 and he took my credit card. NEVER USE this company.

Sad towing company

AAA promised a tow that never showed. After 5 hours stranded on the freeway, Steven from DTS put wheel dollies under our broken rear axle and got us safely to a shop. Steven did an excellent job and we are so grateful for the rescue of our Mustang.

They wrecked my drive shaft on my AWD car and then dodged responsibility. This company is dishonest and crooked! Do not use them!!!

As bad as I hate to do this.... These people are my cousins that own this place. After my dad passed away in October of 2016, I was offered a family discount on 3 new tires. I went and had them put on, and paid $250, so definitely no discount, and they put them on BACKWARDS!! They are directional tires!! I didnt notice them saying INSIDE on the OUTSIDE of the tires for about 9 months, until they started getting really loud and my car was shaking. I called my cousin and told him the problem.. He said bring them in Ill replace them. I took my car to the shop the next morning, he looked at the tires and said he would call me in about an hour, he had to go pick the tires up. Never received a call, so I called him back. Got the exact same thing, that hed call me back. Hadnt heard anything the next morning so I called once again. He had his secretary answer the phone for him and of course she knew nothing about it. Its a damn shame that these people can screw people over the way they do, especially family!! If theyll do their own family this way, is hate to see what they do to strangers!! Dont go here, whatever you do!!

Bad service never came

They tow my car, the door was broken, my things were stolen out of my car, so no never call this place.

Horrible and sad. They were called to tow my car by MPD because someone was in an accident. I was notified and my car key was giving to the driver in the officers presence on 10.31.18. I went to impound lot to pick up my car and no key..WTH. Inquiry lead me to them and they were the rudest people I have ever spoken too. The phone was hung up in my face twice after asking how to file a complaint. I called back and was told to get a form from the lot showing no key was inventoried and I did. To date still no one has reached out about my key. Okay! I will contact everyone involved to make sure actions are taken.

A driver just passed me on the interstate doing every bit of 80. Jumping in and out of traffic, pulling over in front of people. I called the office, and whomever answer had an attitude claiming the driver had his flashers on and was headed to MPD emergency. He did not have on flashers, & hes going to hurt someone. I know I will never recommend this company to anyone. Especially after this & reading the other comments.

Now the first time I came here, the guy put air in my tire and was pretty nice. 2nd and 3rd time I went, I was disgusted at service. Can you say Rude? I pulled up on the lot and this guy just walked past me and acted like he didnt see me. Correct me if I am wrong but when a customer pulls in to do business, you ask How may I help you? I dont know what kind of problem these guys have but the attitudes are bad. Then when he finally asked me what I needed, it was not a pleasant welcome. I only come here because its right by my job. They need to improve their attitudes towards customers.

This place is likely conducting tax fraud. Only accepts cash, quoted me a different quote on the phone and then charged me much more in person. Also, saw a moron sawing off a muffler of some other vehicle. This place needs to be shut down

USE ANOTHER TOW SERVICE!!! In retrospect I likely would have been better manually pushing my car to a lot miles away compared to using DTS. This place is the ABSOLUTE WORST. My car was towed after an accident and they treated me like I parked illegally or something. They made it next to impossible to acquire my belongings from me vehichial, so much so that I basically had to STEAL back some of my belongings from me vehicle due to there lack of presence during listed business hours. Not to mention one of there lots is literally all dirt, so good luck re-obtaining your belongings if it has recently rained, because youll be ankles deep in mud. Youve been warned

Cop writes bogus ticket at accident...only DTS and other companies like them can tow your car..the government issues them their SPECIAL certification....you pay CRIMINAL DTS 125.00 cash to release your car...But..oh WAIT! ONLY SPECIAL CERTIFIED PLACES CAN TAKE YOUR CAR FROM THEIR NASTY LOT. They are thieves. They only take cash!!! Extortion. Hey! Thats what a corrupt institution does. Right?!

This place stole all of my personal stuff from my vehicle, including award pins from work that are irreplaceable. They stole my laundry detergent and laundry basket from my trunk and even tossed all the clean laundry into the trunk. They will not take accountability that their drivers or staff removed stuff from the vehicle away from cameras views. I intend to file an incident report with MPD about this incident. Im really appalled now that I see another customer on another review complaining about stolen belongings.

Poor customer service.. My vehicle was involved in a wreck their was no damage to the rear or passenger side of the vehicle when I got to there lot to get car their was damage on the rear bumper and a big scratch on the passenger door.. they were very disrespectful and rude..
