Went in for tire pressure issues, as it was the nearest place I could stop. They were able to assist with checking and filling all tires to manufacturers recommended pressures. They are also pretty friendly and quick.

ATTENTION LADIES: this is THE most professional car-related service i have EVER received. It was my first time getting my car inspected without a male present with me and I was SO apprehensive - I didn’t have much money on me and was worried that a simple state inspection would turn into hundreds of dollars worth in mandatory fixes that were beyond my knowledge. Jacob and Dustin and Rob (plus every other man there) were not only so genuinely kind and patient with me, but they walked me through the areas that could be improved on my car BUT put no pressure whatsoever on seeking immediate fixing. The lobby was nice and has a big TV and I was in and out in 10 minutes tops. I typically don’t write reviews, but this was the most high quality service have received in dealing with my car, including dealerships. I believe they are under new management, so if you haven’t been recently, I would HIGHLY recommend visiting! TLDR; Reasonable prices, high quality service, and respectful to women. Couldn’t be more grateful :)

They were honest about my car, said it had an electrical problem and they didn’t charge me for the diagnosis since they could not fix it. VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL!

Had a long checklist of services that they performed, but did none of them. Didn’t vacuum, didn’t clean windows, didn’t check air pressure, didn’t check filters, and the guy who checked me out had to fill the oil because the guys changing my oil just left the car. I just hope that they replaced the filter with a new one. I will not be back. New ownership isn’t an excuse for bad service. They all seemed to be ignoring customers and were too busy trying to get the wind shield wiper count correct. The Kirk Kar I went by earlier said they were under new ownership and didn’t have any oil. That’s pathetic customer service and like I stated. I will never go to Kirk Kar again. It was a ridiculous experience.

My sister & I came to check on something that was dragging on the bottom of her car. One the guys (a black guy with glasses) was sitting on his phone. Didn’t even look up to help. One of the other guys (white dude with glasses) looked out the window like a deer in headlights. He didn’t even come outside to greet us. My sister had to go inside the place. He told her he couldn’t help us & we had to go back to the other place. Very rude. Don’t bring your car to get serviced here because it’s OBVIOUS they’re lazy.

Called ahead for an inspection and told to come in anytime. Arrived and waited for an hour with no one even pulling my car around. Left without any service and will not be back.

Got ripped off almost a 100.00 to get my oil changed in a 1995 jeep really just a oil change and filter I topped off all my fluids the night before so yeah they rip people off they got me Never again people stay away from that store stay away you were warned

Pulled in to try to fix my ac a car pulled next to me, I told them I needed my AC fixed. They told me the car next to me was before. I was ok with but told me I had to wait 1 half. I take it cuz I am hispanic the guy next to me was white. Smh

If I could give this place a zero star review I would, whoever the guy was that was working today gave me horrible customer service and I had a Groupon and he was trying to make me pay extra and I was trying to understand why but he would not explain and I went on Groupon and it did not say anywhere on there about the extra costs . He started yelling at me and threatened to call the police on me and Ive never had that before this was just very poor customer service as I work with people everyday and that is not how you treat someone when youre working for a company I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE SPECIFICALLY IT IS HORRIBLE !UPDATE: whoever the “manager” is refused to let me speak to the owner and said that that “was not going to happen”. I do not recommend coming here. I went in for an oil change. Dude was trying to get me to get an engine flush lol. I told him no just an oil change. Guy said I had slug in my oil and really need an engine flush. I told him no and to give me my car back. Came to Take5 instead coast more but better service. Asked the take5 guys if my oil had slug in it and should I get an engine flush, oh no it looks good a little low but I wouldnt recommend it.

Employees where so unprofessional, the manager so rude, I’m a woman I was alone and they treated me very badly, also over charging me 1 oil changed double the Prize, because they thought I didn’t know better. & said my car needed so many things, when my car is a 2019 & has always been taken good care of by my dad & the family’s mechanic. Also, I took it to Take 5 oil change, and they told me otherwise, my car was in perfect condition only needed the oil change.... & the prices was fair, they do a great job.!

Please dont get scammed by this place. They will try to tell you need more work done just make the repair bill higher. I witnessed it serveral times while I was there one employee walked out while I was there. I would give it a zero if I could.

This place is a joke, just went to get an inspection and the “dude” there said my tint was too dark. I bought my car brand new 5 years ago and have never had an issue with it being too dark. I highly doubt that the Honda dealership tinted my windows too dark and 5 years later he notices it. They obviously don’t need any money. Oh also he greeted me without a mask.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. The mechanics overfilled my car with oil during an oil change. My car only takes 4.5qt and they over-filled it with about 10qt. Which caused my car to stall on the road soon after. I gave the store manager an opportunity to resolve it and he sent me away and also hung up on me twice.Im currently pursuing a lawsuit for exponential damages caused by the oil change. I have to pay for an engine AND system cleanup caused my excessive oil during my service with Kwik Kar. The certified dealership also provided me a video recording of the visible damages and I reached out to a customer below whose car engine blew after they received a oil change. Wish it didnt come to this and wish I had read the reviews below.

Straight theives! After i did the diagnostic, short chubby mechanic came up with such an over praced estimates, that even the rich grandmas that come here would drop jaws. For example, 600$ for one bearing on 15 year old subaru. After that, i knew what time it is, and the guy was lying with a straigh face. I would not reccomend these crooks to anyone.

Your lack of customer service is appalling. I called to ask if I could get a tune up on a 2013 Ford Escape. Had that information been provided i would have asked for a few more maintenance things I need. However you were too busy with your irrelevant statements. My money and I will go else where.

Came in to have my a/c fixed and paid around 300 for it. I ended up having to come back multiple times bc each time they “fixed it” days later my ac would stop working again. And now recently I found out someone reported an incorrect odometer reading to carfax on my vehicle of 73,000 miles when my car only has 22,000. Not sure where they got that number from but now my car fax is wrong and it looked bad when I tried to trade it in. Only good thing really was that the guys there are pretty cool, other than that not really much positive. My ac still doesn’t work very well.

None of them are wearing masks. Getting in and out of cars potentially infecting people. Tried to sell brakes when not needed. Vehicle actually needed a different part. Not the best at all.

I popped in because my check engine light came on. I wish I caught the gentleman’s name, but he quickly assessed the situation, told me what the issue was and how much it would cost for repairs, and sent me on my merry way without charging me a dime. It was so fast and easy, it just felt like a friend doing me a favor. I’m not from this neck of the woods, but if I’m in need and in the area, I’d definitely take my vehicle here.

Good people here .. a friend loaned us their car for our honeymoon and we wanted to get the oil changed for them. So we took it here and they took care of it quickly and safely. These are tough times but its nice to know that the people who are still out here working that care.

I went to this place to have a service performed .The white guy thats a mechanic that wears a hat and has a beard that’s always there lied to me. He told his boss that he didn’t know how to work on my type of vehicle and then worked on it anyway . He then returned my vehicle and charged me half the price because he only did half the work . He only did the work he knew how to do. The problem is he did not tell me this. He only handed me a paper and when I asked if everything was ok, he just nodded yes. The paper showed he did not perform the full service I asked for . I will update when I get the guys name .

Today, I took my car to the Kwik Kar on 5020 Lemmon Ave. - one of several times I’ve used their services during the past several years. On this occasion, like every other time, I received excellent service at a very reasonable price. Chris and Gary helped me today.It’s a great feeling to have confidence and trust in someone who performs various services on your car!

Some clown working there tried to tell me my power steering pump was broken and it had to be fixed before it could pass inspection. Spoiler, it works fine. Unless you are into being ripped off, I would avoid this place.

I went this place for oil change in February, and my drain plug was damaged. They made an offer to charge me $400 for their screwing up my oil pan, which I turned down. Then I have to replace a whole oil pan for their bad oil change, and I do not know what they did to my car.

This place is trying to rob people, over charge people and rude for the customer the person I talk to him was drunk I clear smell the liquor while I talk to him. Went for the oil change few months ago and after a month i didn’t seen any oil in the car I clearly fell the difference with my car running in low oil i stopped by and trying to explain what going on they are not listening to me and asking straight forward question like you want to change oil or no . Saying they don’t see the inspection the car oil . So I took to the other store they took the time and explained what going on . They suggest to fill some oil and I went to Walmart and filled the oil. Overall I didn’t care about poor service. As a customer I need some respect and attention which they don’t care . May be they have lot of customer they are trying to reduce customer with such behavior

Even though I told them what happen, they still try to convince me pay $1200 to change the whole system. I called this morning and spoke with Dylan, he was very helpful. I got there about about 9:30 am, he took care of me right away. I was only in for an oil change but he noticed some things that need to be taken care of. He was very thorough with what needed to be done. I am very pleased with the service and this will be y forever mechanic shop.

I went in for an oil change and it was an amazing experience. Its a family owned business and they told me things about my car that other lube places didnt and wanted me in and out. They took me out to the bay and showed me everything. Work was done quickly and at a very reasonable price. Fully equipped and well staffed.

This place is ok... I wouldn’t say it’s the worse but I did go in for a oil change and some how end up paying 30 extra dollars for taxes. But the worse part was of course they try to up sell you like every other mechanic doing a oil change, but the funny thing is the guy came back with a air filter that wasn’t even mines saying I need to replace it. Not knowing I just replaced it a few months prior. His reply was you must be driving down some dirty roads. They got the job done but definitely will not be going back. I’ll just drive across town to my original mechanic.

Roy - the new owner of this Kwik Kar location - was absolutely the most helpful person! I had a mechanical issue with my ancient 94 Chevy S10 Blazer, and he and his people jumped right on it, fixed it, and then explained in detail how to deal with it in the future.I had been a customer of this location under the previous owner, but my last several visits since Roy took over, I can tell you there is quite a noticeably better vibe to the working environment now. The people working there are very much friendlier; much more helpful; and they are happy to show everyone that they are eager to give great and efficient service. This is my second visit at the shop, I’m typically seceptical about mechanic shops but the service was so good on my first visit I had to come back. I recently got a car alignment and I needed a new oil pressure sensor. They found my part for a great deal and fixed everything for a great price. The customer service is even better. The staff is friendly and very helpful. If I could I would give this location 10 stars. The new owner Roy have taken this shop to a new level!!If your like me and your hate to get ripped off try this place. They are very honest.I will definitely be back.

I had an excellent experience here. I brought my car in for a state inspection, was out within half an hour. The next day, I brought it back to have the brake pads replaced, and again was out within an hour, despite there being other cars getting worked on too. Prices are very good, and the staff is wonderful.

Roy was super helpful! I needed a number of things done including one that required parts to be ordered, but they managed to get it all done quickly. Throughout the whole process I was kept updated and they were very friendly. I will definitely be bringing my car back here.

I went here to get an inspection. My starter in my car had been acting up and my car died right there! The employees were very helpful in diagnosing the problem. The manager was very friendly and said they could fix it. He gave me a reasonably quote and I left my car there. They had it fixed the very next morning and at the exact price I was quoted. No hidden fees or tricks. I was very impressed. Thanks, Guys!!!

Service was great. Came in at 3pm for an oil change without an appointment and was out around 3:30pm. They filled my tires with air as well. I have to mention that their Groupon is very misleading since they will charge you ridiculous “taxes and fees” on top of the Groupon. I paid $42 for a synthetic oil change via Groupon and was hit with $33 in “taxes and fees” bringing my total up to $75 for an oil change. I won’t be coming back but at the same time I can’t complain about the quality of service I received.

After getting a quote from the dealership, I called Kwik Kar and they were able to do the repair for less than half the price! Everyone there is really friendly and helpful. The only thing they could improve is communication. I dropped my car off Friday and they told me they’d call with a quote. Saturday morning, I ended up calling them, and they told me the quote. Then I asked how long it would take and they said a 90 mins to 2 hours. I called a couple hours later to check in, and they said it would still be a couple more hours and they would call me. I called right as they were closing on Saturday, and they said that it was done and waiting for me. I wish I hadn’t had to be the one doing all the calling.

Worst attitude ever met!!! ONLY Care about making money !!!This afternoon I asked to do the regular level of engine protection, the guy said some Mazda model may need the “best” level most expensive one. I replied if it turns to be the most expensive option I may change my mind. Then the guy answered quickly, now I told you it needs the “best” one which THE PRICE IS SAME AS WHAT DID WITH THE DEALER PLUS TIRE ROTATION.

They’re quick and effficient. They do exactly what I need for my car. The pricing is fair. I’ve recently moved to the area and it’s great to find a car repair shop that will do what you need and be fair!

This place is fantastic, above and beyond customer service! I was driving my 2011 Mercedes C63 AMG and I noticed a lot of vibrations and had to pull over. So I called Park Place Mercedes on Lemmon ave and they said it would take a couple hours to send someone out because they were really busy. Then I called this place after reading the reviews. They sent someone out right away! The mechanic checked out the car and said it would have to be towed, so they brought out a tow truck and even dropped me home about 5 miles away! When the car was ready they came back and picked me up, and I paid for the service and it’s running better than ever! I don’t think I’ve ever had an automotive shop work so hard to make their customers happy!I recommend if you haven’t tried the place you should definitely give it a try. I’ll definitely be back all my cars.

Yesterday, I was leaving work in Addison when I get in my car and turned the ignition to hear that dreaded clicking noise of a dead battery. To my relief my co-worker had jumper cables and assisted me in getting my car started and on the way back to Dallas. Knowing that I was going to need to get the car checked out I drove to the Honda Dealership on Lemmon Ave. to get the car looked at. When I showed up at the dealership they advised me to go over to their quick service department to get my car diagnosed. When I attempted to start the car again it was (you guessed it) dead, which told me it was the alternator and battery that had gone bad. So the dealership advised me to leave the car there and they would take a look at the vehicle the next day to determine what repairs were necessary. I received a call late morning from the Honda Dealership telling me that I needed a new battery and alternator for my 07 Honda Civic, which would cost me around 4 figures.Upon hearing this news I began looking for alternative locations to get my car fixed as the quote from the dealership was, lets just say mind boggling. So I looked around and called Roy at Kwik Kar Lube and Tune to get an estimate on my car. Within 10 minutes he had called me back and told me what the cost would be to get my car fixed. Even with this new estimate I was cringing, so he offered to look up the cost of cheaper after-market parts. He then called me back with a quote that was extremely reasonable for parts and labor. He also offered to go to the dealership to jump my car and drive it to his location at no extra charge.The Kwik Kar Lube and Tune team got my car fixed in only a couple of hours while texting me updates as to their progress and sending me photos of the broken/damaged parts. I went to pick up my car and Roy could not have been nicer as he explained to me all the work his team had done. Then on my way home I received a text message from Roy, even though they were extremely busy, informing me that I had left my credit card back at the shop.From my first phone call to my last interaction (being my fault) Roy and his team at Kwik Kar Lube and Tune were professional, helpful, and provided top-notch customer service. I will be bringing my vehicles back to this location anytime I need service!

Went to get an oil change on Saturday, and they didnt replace my oil. Check engine light came on, took my car to a mechanic, and they recommended that I get a lawyer, sue Kwik Kar and have them replace my motor. They also took 30-45 minutes to replace a simple air filter. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Went in for an oil change, and these crooks told me I need my power steering fluid flushed and replaced, about $70. Not a big deal, but I decided to wait. Took my car to a mechanic nearby with really good reviews which specializes in Toyotas (like my car), and they said there is absolutely nothing wrong with my power steering. Why would the other mechanics say that if it wasnt true?? They only stand to lose money by telling me this.No more Kwik Kar for me. Ever.

Very unprofessional crew. First visit they farted in my car n left such a terrible smell. Returned to get battery assistance, basically did not want to help at all said shirt handed with 3 guys on the only car in the garage.
