Our heat went out and He was here the next day early. Diagnosed the problem, got it working partially while the part was ordered, and was back the next day to install it. Price was very fair. I had thought it was going to be very expensive, but, as always, every time we have used Wilsons over the last 15 years, they have always been fair, and honest. Even noticed something on our new system (installed before we bought our new house) was missing, it was a dust cover that they used tape over, Art and his son in law replaced it without question. They did not leave until they completely checked everything out, and that was a fast process also
$150.00 weekend/after hours charge - understandable.. $365.00 capacitor part charge - I dont know; the one replaced cost $16.95 at various supply houses.
Have used Wilson twice now and had a great experience both times. The office staff is very friendly and their installers are the best. We got our last unit for a few hundred less than what another local company quoted and it is still running like a champ! Highly recommended for anyone needing air conditioning in Frisco. My heater wasnt working and its 30 degrees outside. They gave me an appointment time for 3:30, so I made sure I was home by 3:15. An hour later I called their office since no one had arrived. They said someone had come by my house around 2:30 and no one was home. They offered to have someone else come out, but would be charged an emergency rate, or wait until Tuesday since Monday is a holiday. I have used them for 7 years, but never again.
Wilson installed a new heating and cooling system last summer. The old a/c went out one day and Wilson had us up and running the next day! Prompt, affordable service. Their service contract is very reasonable and response to issues is immediate. Id recommend them to anyone.
In trying to cut down the noise on our AC, my husband noticed that when they replaced our unit 7 years ago they covered up our other air return with a metal plate, which probably has contributed to our lack of cooling in the front part of our house. I called to find out what exactly they had done and decided to request an AC check.Jimmy C came out timely, performed an AC check, saw the metal plate, but would not agree that it was Wilson that put it there or why it had been put there. We are not AC professionals and would not have known to put it there. Since the only ones to have worked on that AC or installed it, it would stand to reason who put it there. Why, is a mystery to me. He removed it and took it back with him. He did his AC check and washed the coils outside on the unit. The next day or so, my husband just happens to go out back and notice that he took a panel off the unit but did not replace it. Thankfully the screws were still there, but it makes no sense why he wouldnt replace something he took off.Needless to say, very disappointed with their service and overall experience with Wilson. Will not be using them again!!
We have used Wilson since they started many years ago. They handle all of our plumbing, air conditioning and heating work. We had our A/C and heating units replaced about three years ago with the inside units moved into the attic. All their work has been done in a very timely and professional manner. We would highly recommend this company to anyone. Their service personnel, telephone contact (office) people and top management are very knowledgeable of our needs. We appreciate the manner in which they have always handled our A/C and plumbing needs.

We have used Wilson for years -- primarily for heating and air. Then I called Wilson for a plumbing problem and found that they had to redo the work of another plumber in order to fix my problem. So now they are our primary plumbers, too. Price is always reasonable, the response time is very fast, and the technicians always inspire trust. Highly recommended -- in fact I have recommend Wilson to friends who have also had good experiences. I never expect to hire anyone to redo Wilsons work.
Had a leak under my sink. The service person was so courteous and knowledgable about the Issue. Fixed it fast with a smile. I would recommend this service person to everyone.
Wilson installed a new system for 2 floors in past 2 years. Spent major bucks. Now I have what appears to be black mold covering the ceiling outlets both upstairs and down. Their technician came out and after several minutes advised he needed a second opinion. Hes never called back. Meanwhile, I scheduled a plumber to come and repair a faucet outside. I waited all day- he never called or showed. Mr. Wilson advised that his wife had forgotten to write down the appointment. They never called to apologize. Ive had it!
I have used Wilson for heating, AC and Plumbing since 2008. I have always been pleased with the service they provide. Today my upstairs thermostat went bad and Jimmy Collazo replaced it with no charge to me. I like Wilson for many reasons: they always come to fix a problem very promptly- many times the same day! They send service men who are friendly, knowledgeable, and clean cut and they stand behind their products- like they did today.I recommend Wilson for your heating, air conditioning, and plumbing needs.
Wilson replaced RUUD AC 5 years ago. Stopped cooling in May. Came out and put stop leak in it as said RUUD coils leak. We were not told this when we let them replace the unit 5 years ago OR we would have bought another brand.Just talked to Melissa.. she said will have tech out this afternoon for $99 and tech would tell us how much more to fix the RUUD AC as they do not honor Wilsons warranty. Tech in May said Steve Wilson is still in company.Declined...
Wilson SVC Air Conditioning service is incredible. We had a new unit installed in May of 2012. Very professional installation and very honest guys to work with. We sold our home in August of 2012 and needed service to our other AC unit. Eric Wilson answered my call personally at 8pm and had one of his guys at my house at 9am the next morning and serviced our AC and got it back up to speed with some basic cleaning. The service technician performed this service to us at no charge. A complete courtesy service to thank us for our business just two months earlier. That is unheard of! I would strongly recommend this company for all of you AC needs, they will treat you right and take care of any problems you may have.
Our household has been using Wilson Heating & Air Conditioning for years now and I cant imagine going to anyone else to make sure that we are kept cool in the Summer and toasty in the Winter!!! Our hot water tank broke and we were in need of a new one fast! We called Wilson and we were able to get same day service which was very nice! The guy who replaced our tank was very clean, very nice and had us taking a hot shower again in no time! Thank you.
I took off work for an 8am to noon arrival block. Called three times and was told each time that Plummer would be at house in 45 minutes. Finally cancelled at 2:30pm.I then called Baker Brothers and received a very quick arrival (30 min) and great service.Wilson has horrible response times and wasnt courteous enough to even call. I do not recommend them.
Home was built in 1952. Used Wilson to replace sewage system under house. To access part of the plumbing would normally require cutting into original tile or paneling.When we discussed my concern about tearing out the tile the plumber worked on finding a better solution. They ended up accessing the plumbing through my furnaces air return.No only was the crew courteous and professional. They were on time, every time. Best of all, even with the extra work my bill was still exactly the estimated amount.Ive used many plumbers in my day. Wilson is by far the best! I also found the price quite reasonable.
Wilson Heating & Air Conditioning has been servicing our household for at least a decade and Ive come to trust them to do an excellent job in the least amount of time required at reasonable prices. The technicians are always professional and dont mind answering any questions I have. The owner takes time to connect personally with his regular customers and the staff are always courteous and knowledgeable. Their location in East Dallas is very convenient and they dont mind at all if you stop in for a friendly hello while youre out and about. They have gone above and beyond for me and my family regarding service requests and have provided me with good choices when it comes to replacing equipment. I would highly recommend them residentially. Great company all around!

What happened to your company, Mr. Wilson? I wouldnt say that theyre fast... maybe more like half-fast. 0 Stars would be more appropriate for the way this company handled their business. I wish I had told my parents to check out Yelp reviews for Wilson before they chose a plumber. It is sad to see so many unhappy customers posting recently when in the past it appears you were providing great service. The older reviews are positive, but unfortunately this is not one of those reviews.Just send them your money and be done with it because they will do poor quality work then fix it by making the problem worse. My elderly parents had Wilson out to fix a leaking toilet ring and the tech succeeded at making the toilet swivel and wobble. The leak was not fixed the first time, however he managed to make the toilet swivel and wobble like its part of an obstacle course. They eventually fixed the leak but left the toilet wobbling all over when you sit on it. Oh and they permanently damaged the floor by spilling glue on it.This would be funny if I didnt spend close to 700 dollars for the screwing. Check out their Yelp reviews if you dont believe me.
Organization installed A/C coil incorrectly and may have caused premature failure. They did not register extended warranty as they indicated they did. The owner will not talk to women and refused to come back after service attempt failed to make proper repairs. Buyer Beware of this company. Better Business Bureau has also been notified.
They tried to sell me an air handling system that I didnt need in the Summer of 2011 that I did not need. The service tech was so lazy that he didnt even bother to put the side panels back on the outside A/C unit. Use anybody else besides this company.
I have been a Wilson AC customer for several years, the staff has always been professional, and helpful. Once I had a problem and they went out of their way to help me. I have my system tuned and serviced every year by them and have never had a problem with my unit. Living in Texas most AC units dont make 10 years, so when the time comes for a replacement, These are the folks who will be called to replace.
My step dad needed a new unit. They showed up on a HOT July Friday night and we had cool air by Saturday afternoon.
The installation of our new AC system was excellent. The explanation of the warranty agreement left a lot to be desired. Had to call the manufacturer to get the clear details of what they covered vs. what Wilsons covered. It was very convoluted and confusing.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS BAIT AND SWITCH LYING COMPANY! On August 20 their technician arrived to fix a leak in my drain pan which had caused water spots on my ceiling. He told me that the drain lines needed cleaning and I needed a new drain pan. I showed him my guarantee and he said it did not cover the repair. But the form said they were supposed to call me to schedule an ac check. They never called me but when I called they disputed this with me. In the meantime their technician said the leak was fixed and that if I wanted a new drain pan it would be $325. The next morning I awoke to a hallway full of water. It had obviously not been fixed. I called them up and Steve Wilson himself said that the same drain pan would now be $475 because I had cussed out his employee. That is a complete lie. I merely complained that his man had not fixed the leak. This is classic bait and switch by Wilson Air conditioning.
Great place - solid people and reasonable prices
This company installed the HVAC system in our home prior to our purchase and the prior owner bought a service contract which was transferrable to us. In January I had them come out to perform a service check. They sent a technician who looked barely out of high school who could not perform the check as he could not figure out how to access the unit. I asked him to report that back to the office as I did not feel we got a complete service check. I never heard back from anyone following that visit.This week I scheduled our spring AC check and specifically asked for an experienced tech due to the problems last go round. The tech that came out today was great, very professional, and indeed could access the unit. The filter was in desperate need of a change as it was not done at the last visit due to the incompetence of the tech. Now Wilson wants to charge me $70 to change the filter (which is supposed to be included in the service check - the cost of the filter). After explaining that the last tech did not check it, the company is still unwilling to change the filter unless I pay $70 for the filter. While the tech was great this go round, the customer service of Steve, the owner, is atrocious. He is willing to forego having us as a repeat customer over a $15 filter because he hires teenagers who are poorly trained an incompetent. If you do decide to use this company, ensure you get someone who knows what they are doing, because the owner will not make it right if they fail to do their job right the first time.
We enjoyed working with Wilson on a previous home (excellent work, timely, good solution to a tricky location for the system) and are planning on working with them again for a new home.
0/10 would not recommend. Wasted my time when the word insulation came up in a competitors bid and my inspection report. Wouldnt even bother to come out for other issues not related to insulation.
**BEWARE** WILSON WILL NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY AGREEMENT**We used Wilson to install our new HVAC system and 6 yrs ago and thought they were great. We even used them annually as our maintenance and check-up w/ no issues...but you really find out about a company when a actual problem comes up.Our AC stopped working Saturday night about 7pm. We called Wilsons 24/7 number more than once and got no answer - Never a call back or anything! We had to use another provider to repair our unit because it was a 100 degrees and Wilson was MIA! We called Monday to find out why we never got a call and get a refund for the out of pocket cost from the other provider, since we had a 10 yr Gold Warranty that was supposed to cover all parts, labor etc. We have met all terms and conditions. The manager Carrie was rude to my wife when she called and was rude to me when I called. They basically told me sorry we left you high and dry w/ 2 small kids in a house w/ no AC in the summer time. Thats the customer service you can expect from WilsonStay away and find somebody worth your money that will cares about their customers. Ive already filed a BBB case in hopes to resolve - civil suit to follow if they want to be crooks

Entire A/C Heat System would not turn on. Wilson Heat and Air tech came out and spent 10 minutes looking at it before announcing entire system shot and he could show me where coils appeared burned and entire system (less than 20 years old) needed to be replaced. He quoted $7200 and $6900 if they could start the install the next day. He then charged me the standard $80.00 service call feed. I had Texas AirZone come in for a second opinion. Within 5 minutes the Texas AirZone tech had found a blown fuse and a rodent chewed, shorted wire. Cost of repair $125.00
