For several years we have had numerous HVAC folks here to diagnosis and fix the problems with our aging Lennox HVAC system. No one except Home Comfort was able to actually fix it! Wish we had found them first (so much for internet searching...) The previous highly rated companies we called wanted to sell us a new system or charged us for time without actually diagnosing and fixing the existing system issue. Home Comforts technician Dan had to come out a couple times to get to the root of the problem (recalled thermostat and bad motherboard) but he found and corrected the problems! The system now works perfectly for AC and heat. We will never call anyone else. Highly recommend this company!

They did a great job, very professional! On time, and enlarged my all of my intake duct to match the new unit. This was during the Covid pandemic, so supply and labor shortages caused the installation to be pushed out but they were able to get a unit that fit my needs and installed it when they said they would.

If you have had them install any sort of new unit in your home and them claim to have pulled permits for the work; I would strongly encourage you to call your county and make sure they actually pulled the permits you paid for. My husband and I had several heat pumps installed in our home and just called the country to confirm they pulled permits, only to find out they have not pulled any permits. And this is after them verbally telling us they do pull permits and charging us for it. Now we have to figure out how to correct their mistake because we are in a flood zone. So please learn from us and double check that the appropriate permits have been pulled!

During an extreme heat wave is not the time for an air conditioner to die. But, ours did and its hard to imagine the number of service calls that went to Home Comfort. But, those folks bent over backwards to help us get up and running again. Service above and beyond the call of duty. We will remain customers forever.

Customer service is seriously lacking. We had a technician out to our house to fix out gas fireplace, only to be told they needed to order a part and they would have to call once the part was in to get scheduled for installation. After almost two weeks I called to follow up asking if the part was in since we still hadn’t heard anything. The lady that answered said let me check I will call you right back only to not receive a call back. Someone finally called back the next day saying ohh we just got tracking info and looks like your part will be in Thursday and we will do installation on Friday. I asked was the part just ordered when I called you guys and the lady tried to cover and say oh no it’s been ordered but we just got tracking information (which was an obvious lie). The lady said we will keep an eye on tracking and if it is not going to be here Thursday we will call and get rescheduled but if you don’t hear from us before Friday we will see you for installation. Low and behold the part was not delivered on Thursday so at the time the tech was scheduled to be there I got a call saying sorry we have to reschedule. I told them to not call me back till the part was in and mind you it was supposed to be delivered on that day (Friday). Well Monday and Tuesday go by and still no call that the part is in so I call back and they say oh yeah part came in Friday.. so why didn’t they call to schedule??? This isn’t the first time we have had follow up issues with them but it surely will be the last would not recommend and will not be using them in the future.

Fast,efficient. Best part is the system installed has fixed the huge issue with air flow. Before system was installed my had cold areas. Couldnt get house warm. System installed is amazing.

We had our gas fireplace cleaned and serviced, The technician (Christian) was very professional and personable, He did an excellent job on a fireplace that had not been cleaned in a long time. We really appreciate a company is prompt and provides excellent services. We highly recommend this company.

My husband and I chose Home Comfort after trying out several other Salem area heating and cooling companies. We found their pricing more reasonable and never had problems with misdiagnosis or repairs that didnt work. Technicians have always been very personable and informative, looking out for you as a customer, and suggesting things that could save you money or extend the life of your system. Im not sure of their size, but they have a small company feel, with many long-term employees and none of the sales hype of some other companies. During the worst of the summer 2020 wildfire smoke, the air quality was so bad that my husband and I were afraid of the health effects of driving from Salem to Home Comfort in Dallas to purchase a MERV 11 furnace filter. Home Comfort arranged the delivery and installation at no charge with one of their technicians who travelled our way on his way home from work. It was hugely helpful to us and speaks to their exceptional customer care.

Overall they were very professional, timely and thorough in the research of the most effective and frugal choice for our system. I would happily hire them again and wish I had the first time I installed my HVAC/heat pump. Will

The first technician even called another one out of Dallas so I wouldnt have to wait as long. Technician arrived and efficiently found the problem and we were up and running again in no time! Ive used lots of different companies for my heating and heat pump maintenance and I wasnt completely happy with any of them. Then it was time to replace them I got serious and interviewed lots of companies. After an exhaustive search, I chose Home Comfort. They did an impeccable job.Since then, Ive used them for my yearly maintenance, and their techs are always on time, personable, professional, dont bother me too much, know what they are doing, deal with the mess in my garage without complaining, and this time even replaced a part under warranty. You just couldnt ask for a better company.

Having recently moved into our new home, we made an appointment for a service call on an existing furnace and to have questions answered about the gas fireplace. The Home Comfort representative was courteous in answering all of our questions and concerns we had about the fireplace, and he got it up and running for us. We are very pleased with the service we received and will continue to have them back for annual maintenance check-ups. We would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

Everyone I have dealt with at Home Comfort is polite and friendly. I am less impressed with my heating and air conditioning. My home was built in 2015. I signed up for the Home Comforts yearly service. The unit worked well until the yearly service a year later. It took two follow up visits to get it running again. The following winter the heat quit the first day of the years coldest week. I used space heaters for days while waiting for service. The unit failed again the first day that I needed the air conditioning. And a year later when the outside temperature was 30 degrees. Next time my heat failed and I was given a service appointment 10 days out. Last season they changed out a part that had been faulty all along. So far so good. I do now own three space heaters, an electric fan and three battery operated fans.

THE MOST outstanding experience ever experienced. The staff at Home Comfort are personable, professional and very professional. The installation of our Mitsubishi Mini-Split heat pump and free standing gas stove was seamless and extremely convenient. I can wholeheartedly recommend this company and its staff to anyone looking for HVAC services!

After a stressful search for the right company to replace my aging furnace I was recommended Home Comfort Inc in Dallas by a co-worker. A few phone conversations later I agreed to purchase a complete new system from them. This included a new gas furnace and a heat pump. All of it installed was almost the same cost as other companies wanted for just the furnace installed.They came out today to install everything. I was extremely impressed with the quality of work and the installers willingness to explain everything to me. I am a do-it-yourself kind of guy and ask a ton of questions. They never hesitated to answer them or get annoyed at the guy watching over their shoulder.I would highly recommend Home Comfort Inc for anyone looking for HVAC work.

I am a local home builder. Several years ago on Christmas eve the furnace in my personal home failed. My old hvac company could not respond to my calls. I then called Home Comfort, [who didnt know me at all], and the owner, Joe came out and fixed our system so we had heat for Christmas. They became my new company, and I am so glad they are!

These guys are amazing. During the heat-wave this last summer, my furnace gave out. The temperature of our upper floor got up to 89°F. A friend referred me to Home Comfort Inc. and they were able to install a new Lennox furnace on the SAME DAY!!! They sell quality products and provide professional service. They are the only HVAC company I will ever use again.

I felt fortunate Pete from Home Comfort came out to examine our A/C unit’s lack of performance. We’ve been in a 10 yr old home for less than 1.5 yrs. I had a tech from 2 different companies visit before. One last summer and another the day before Pete w/ Home Comfort came out. Tech last year was on site maybe 45 min & changed my filter and said he adjusted the cooling a bit for $172 and we experienced no performance change. This week another tech visited and said in our dual zone unit, a damper wasn’t closing but that I’d need to have a Lennox dealer come visit because they didn’t have repair manuals for Lennox, and fortunately they didn’t charge for my visit. That tech said Home Comfort was a Lennox dealer, and I called and had a tech out the next day. Pete was onsite for about 3 hrs doing a thorough diagnosis and told me my unit is a bit undersized for my house size and that I actually only had a single speed unit whereas the tech from last year said I had a variable speed unit. Pete discovered a mistake in my wiring and was able to increase the air CFM by 2.25 fold! And he only charged me the $90 diagnostic fee. That very evening my upstairs temperature was 3 degrees cooler on a day it was 95 outside.Pete reflects well on Home Comfort Inc and I would recommend him again and again.
