I was a little nervous about a new hair stylist, but Im glad I tried Floyds 99 Barber shop! Anita P. was friendly and she really listened to me when I told her what I wanted. Ill definitely be returning!

Nidya makes this place. Always professional, always on time, and always cuts my hair the way I like it. Hands down the best barber in town. If you want to look good and feel good, have her cut your hair.

This is not a good place for haircut. I would not recommend. First, they demand your phone number or email so that they can spam you, and they do not take no as an answer. No spam = no haircut. Quality is mediocre at best, stylists probably work very long hours and they have no energy left to do the job right. There are better and cheaper places than this large chain.

I so genuinely wish that zero stars were and option. I have never left a review before but the haircut I received was so egregious I felt I had no other choice than to leave a review. I honestly may shave my head. I attempted to show the stylist the haircut I wanted. Mind you these were pictures of previous haircuts I had already had so they were completely doable. After seeing just one picture they decided they knew what I wanted. I wanted a tapered/blended cut I received an absolute botch job and have never been more disappointed with a haircut in my life.

This was my third time here. It was my first time booking through Google reserve and the booking process was easy and quick. My stylist was personable, kind, and professional. Our conversation was great, which seems to matter alot after a pandemic lockdown and barber shops opening closing opening and closing. I hope the business is more stable for all you barbers out there!

This was my first visit to Floyds and I will for sure be back. The atmosphere is great (music and decor) and everyone was nice. Holly H. Was my barber/stylist and was really super helpful. Their pricing is clear and you know what to expect. While they arent the cheapest cut, the price is fair for what you get and like I said, Ill be going back. Plus, I feel like high quality service, like what you get at Floyds, is worth it. If you are looking for a really chill place to get a solid cut, Id highly recommend it.

Time & Money to SpareIf you get a beard trim, they will charge you extra if your barber is slow. I got a basic hair cut, was not offered a hair wash or hot towel as other reviews mention. I was pleased that there was no wait, I spent 70 minutes in the chair and was charged $36 for a hair and beard cut. I had to go to the bathroom and wash all the hair off my face and clothes.The decor and employees give this place the vibe of a old tattoo parlor which was fun.If you are in a crunch for time, Id recommend picking someone other than Toni.

I told the barber from the start that i wanted to comb my hair back. Once done he said that it wouldnt work because it was too short. I thought whatever i can try to style it at home. Once i got home i realised that the hair cut is not balanced at all. A solid 1/2 inch longer on my right side.Not real happy that i tipped him 50% for what i tboight was an ok haircut

Love The Environment! All kinds of Artist are put up on the walls! Giving it a unique style that most place cant match. The Haircut I got was Perfect. Once done I also got a hair shampoo wash so I could be ready for the day amazing work!

I was running 5 minutes late to my 4:00pm appointment and I called to let them know. They cancelled the appoint and told me she had an appointment at for 4:30pm however I scheduled an hour appointment. Thanks for nothing.

This review is mixed because I had a fantastic experience with my hairdresser, Julie, but a somewhat unpleasant experience with the manager.Prior to getting my haircut, I made an appointment over the phone and notified them that I planned on donating my hair. They told me that my haircut would be free if I donated my hair. I asked if there were any guidelines to qualify for the free haircut and was told that I just needed to bring my own supplies (hairbands and plastic bag) and mail out my hair to the organization of my choice.I ended up getting a fantastic haircut with Julie. She was a fun person to talk to and was really sensitive about the fact that I was cutting a lot of hair off. She listened to my concerns and gave me the exact haircut that I wanted! I would definitely go back to her again.When I walked to the front desk after my haircut, proudly holding my hair donation in the plastic bag, the manager said, $35 please. I explained to her that I called ahead of time and was told that my haircut would be free if I donated it. Then she said, its only free if you donate through us. She then said it was required me to fill out some paperwork and asked to collect my hair so she could send it to Locks of Love. I told her that I wanted to send it to Pantene Beautiful Lengths instead since they give out their wigs for free to cancer patients instead of selling them like Locks of Love. The hair dressers at the studio even warned me against donating to Locks of Love. The manager said she would look into it but still required me to fill out a form. Im reluctant that she will actually look into donating my hair to the place of my choice.In retrospect, I probably should have just paid for the haircut and donated the hair myself. However, my main concern was that the staff were not on the same page about this hair donation policy, which made an already sensitive situation even more nerve wracking. However, I absolutely love my haircut and would totally recommend Julie.

After years of bouncing around to different barbers and salons I can finally say I found my favorite spot to get a haircut. They are all super nice and you even get a shoulder massage! No other places Ive been over the years comes close to this place. If you havent been, check it out!

I had long hair and decided to try a new hairstyle, cut off a good chunk of my hair and decided to donate as well, because of my donation the shop gave me a free haircut 😊, I did not expect it when I went to the cashier and was ready to pay, but I tipped my stylist very well. My stylist was very nice, patient and and worked closely with me on getting the style I wanted. I love this place, definitely awesome customer service 👍👍

My stylist Jessica is very friendly, professional, and willing to accomodate your directions. If you arent super sure about this place, pick Jessica. I have always loved this barber shop. Its such an accepting and trendy place, and the atmosphere is unmatched. People dont normally think of a barber shop for things like color work, or womens hair cuts...but they do it all here!!

Kelly was amazing. For $24 I got a haircut, texture, free shampoo hot towels after my neck shave and a hot towel on my face during my shampoo it was definitely the best barbershop experience Ive ever had.I highly recommend them

Horrible attitude i went there with my 1 year old daughter and son 5 years after searching on the map for a barber and once i reached there the customer service took him like 10 min to talk to me and after he finished what he was doing he just said u have to have an appointment like thats funny he didnt see that am carrying my daughter or my son just acted like am visting a doctor so i left and I WILL NEVER COME BACK THERE AGAIN NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL when the customer service is bad so what about the service itself

Ive been to the floyds in Huntington and had a good experience. I feel bad leaving a bad review and tried to convince myself it wasnt that bad. Honestly though the more I look at the cut the worse it is. Ive grown my hair out for 6 months and just wanted a trim. The barber took of nearly 2 inches off in the back. Left side was left a half inch longer over the ear than the right side. Im honestly livid that know I have to grow my hair out all over again and wait another 2-3 months to get where I was and pray that whatever barber I go to (which will not be the floyds in Costa Mesa) wont screw it up again. In the meantime I have to endure an awful haircut.

Today was the last time of many that I was passed up in line. Others were walk in clients just the same that arrived after me but were helped first. Great haircuts, but long lines, and overpriced for the terri customer service.

This place is no better than super cuts except you pay more for bad hair cut. I was here almost 4 weeks ago. The girl who cut my hair had no clue what she was doing. I had a ton of hair that wasnt cut. The line wasnt remotely straight either. I wrote a review on yelp and someone from the shop messaged me asking for my information and that was the only thing I heard from them. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I was debating whether or not to write a review since I got my haircut 2 weeks ago. To begin with music is too loud, I had to wait for a while and when I did finally get in the chair the barber Aundra H. did not listen at all to what I told him and he took almost an hour for a simple cut. I will most likely not return here because of Aundra or Dre H. He doesnt listen and takes too long. If I do return I will not get my hair cut by him.
