Fast, courteous, affordable and great attention to detail! The basic cut is $13 dollars and theyll even trim your beard if you ask nicely. I was in and out in 15 minutes and it looks great. Highly recommended.

Been going there for a while now, father and son haircut bonding time. Today, 4/10/21approx 10am, I left there location very disappointed. For some reason the lady decided to skip my position in line. She acted like she didnt see my clear written names NOT crossed off and still offered the next guy his haircut. After I called that out. She asked who I was on the list and admitted she didnt see my name and was only asking the next gentleman if he was waiting for a special barber in mind. Ill give her the benefit of doubt but respectfully decline the service after catching this, was not professional. We all wait patiently in line for our haircuts, i dont think its ok to be skipped.

Mindy was my go to and she’s lovely.She takes Venmo for convenience and the prices of $11 a cut are just unbeatable.(They are open during COVID and they take theirs health and customers VERY serious. )Don’t waste time just go, won’t regret it.

For the price you can get a haircut that usually would cost $40 anywhere else. Good line ups and can easily do fades and tapers. Going for something extra? Probably better off somewhere else. But the price for one of these cuts is truly quality and affordable

Probably the best place to get a same day haircut in all of Newport/Costa Mesa. Never had a super long wait here and they can always do a solid fade in less than an hour.

One of the best barbers in the area for a cheap,fast, and modern haircut. Fades cost 11 dollars and you will be out in under 30 minutes. There is generally a wait but they are open later on weekdays which is less crowded then the weekends. Remember they are cash only, and dont skimp on the tip since its such a deal and they are very talented.

A good, quick and inexpensive cut; staff is also nice and polite. Small place though and about 4 seats for waiting so if theres a line, might have to stand. But again, fast but well done cuts so waiting isnt long; 10-15 minutes for a couple people in line.

I have been to a couple 5 star barbers in my day. I paid 5 star prices too. I like Today Barber because I can get a simple haircut at a great price ($11 at time of this review) in a reasonable time (usually 30 minutes or less). I rarely wait more than 15 minutes for the next available barber, but clients can wait for a specific stylist if they want or make an appointment (costs more). Most of the barbers are Vietnamese and are a delightfully happy group. I have had my hair cut by almost everyone in the shop now and never been disappointed. So yes, I have been to 5 star barber shops. Even though I am giving them 4 stars, Today Barber remains my simple barber of choice in Costa Mesa.

Only time I’ve been disappointed with this place is when COVID began and I couldn’t get a chop. I’ve been coming here at least monthly for 5 years. I’ve gone to the $50 places and those “hair stylists” don’t compare to the performance that today’s barbers give.

Have been going here for the last 5 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Anna, Phillip, and Antoine do a great job and I always leave satisfied.

Bad customer service this time. They had no way of attending customers. I waited over an hour to get a haircut because they kept forgetting my place in line. They let at least 6 people go ahead of me who got their later than I did. The younger barber took 3x as long as everyone else because he would talk for 40 minutes while giving a haircut. The older workers have a great work ethic but I would definitely not get a cut from that younger guy if you dont have over an hour to spare.

Mindy is the best. Each time I go into she becomes a little more proficient at my cut. I am in and out within 10 to 15 minutes. This place is a great value at $9.00 per haircut, great values are getting harder to find these days in the OC.Tip her right and get the royal treatment.S.

The McDonalds of the barber industry. Quick and cheap, if thats what youre looking for. The woman cutting my hair asked what I wanted and interrupted me halfway through saying oh OK, I understand then proceeded to cut my hair wrong and too short/uneven and it looks really choppy. Probably good barbers but they will expect that you want the same undercut everyone else has, even if thats not what youre looking for. BE CLEAR with them what youre looking for.

Walked in, and was sat in a chair within 2 minutes of entering. The guy that cut my hair (didnt catch his name) was friendly and incredibly fast. When someone moves that fast with a razor, you kind of get scared that theyll miss something, but NOPE. This guy gave me the best, most accurate haircut Ive ever gotten in my life. I will be back and will tip well to cover the CHEAP $11 haircut.

This place is great Phillip did amazing on my hair today. I was a walk in customer and desperate get all my hair chopped off. Awesome service and everyone inside was incredibly nice. You cant beat the price at $9 for a regular hair cut. I also heard two people coming from a more expensive spot to get their hair fixed. I will definitely be coming back here for haircuts from now on.Update: Place is still legit!Its in a shopping plaza right next to the Crossing huge church seems to be plenty of parking and they get people looking good in and out pretty fast so walk-ins get seen fast
