The Barbers has been around since the 90s and the price has gone up twice. They are a no-nonsense shop with great barbers. Youll get a simple, clean cut for $10. Tip your barber and they will appreciate it, ask for Dean (nickname: Chicago) and tell him David sent you. He gives great textured haircuts that make you look like you paid 5 times as much. Cash only. Closed Sunday. Busy Friday and Saturday. No frills, no thrills. Bazooka gum for your kid, and Suavecito (Santa Ana based company) hair care for your grooming needs.

DO NOT go to Ramiro. Does not pay attention to detail and amateurish ability. A lot of FAKE reviews recommending him, he does horrible skin fades. There’s waaaay better barbers at this place that makes it 4 stars, but the dude at the end is bad.

Barber was shown inspiration picture of desired boy’s haircut.... agreed that barber was able to replicate and kept on messing up and ruined the kids hair. Disappointed and frustrated.... don’t accept responsibility if you can’t perform it. Be Honest don’t use paying customer to learn how to cut.

The worst experience I ever got. The guy was so mean he didn’t even listen to what I wanted to do and when I told him that he cute too much he got nervous at me. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

Great barber-shop ambiance!

I want there to get my haircut I explained to the guy who cut my hair how I wanted to cut i emphasized it do not shave the back of the head just turn around the sides and the back bottom leave the rest alone I even show him a picture and he start buzzing my head all the way up on the right side and I told her no dont do that he wasnt paying attentionso he was going to leave my head crooked by not shave on the other side I said you cant leave like this is you already screwed up so go ahead and shave the other side now I gotta let my hair grow out and Im a professional person Im a public speaker / on different television stations and he totally messed up I cant speak for everybody but one person like they say can run it for everybody, he was the guy with the ball head and this is back and November to the end and my hair still hasnt grown back yet it should take six or seven months to grow backI would never go there or recommend anybody going there much more better places around pay attention I give this a thumbs down when somebody cut your hair they need to pay attention cuz your hair cannot grow back fast

Excellent and friendly customer service

I relocated to the OC and I typically stay with 1 person for my haircuts. I have to say after several testing I ended up here at the Barbers and out of the several options have stayed with a barber named Kelly. Communication is key as well as they learn your hair growth. Dont base everything. First time out and make sure you communicate clearly! Place is great and cant beat the price!

I have been coming here for about a year now. I moved out to Costa Mesa last year and needed to find a barber. Found this place since its the closest to my house and found Dean. Dean has now been cutting my hair for about a year now and does a great job and surprisingly remembers you and basically everything you tell him about you. I will keep coming back as long as i live out here.

Had to go a more well known place to have my hair fixed. They did not speak English and when I asked if I could see how much he was taking off he said do you not trust me I asked for a trim. i dont know why but he started shaving the left side of my beard off. I felt embarrassed in front of everyone but I had to ask him to stop and I left
