My wife can always tell when Mouse cuts my hair because he keeps me looking fresh_hes been cutting my hair for over 20 years but living far means Ive had to use other barbers in the past. I dont make that error anymore. Pep, Carlos, and the other barbers are great as well. They are stacked with talent at this shop and I suggest you call ahead for an appointment as they are usually booked.

A man and his barber are a sacred thing. We cant just let any schmo at the Hair Cuttery cut our hair fellas. This place is the best in Miami period! Mouse has been cutting my hair for about 20years and he is the best. As a matter of fact, all the barbers have legit skills. From Pep to Juanca these guys are great. If you want to debate sports this is also the place for you. Do make an appointment and bring cash.

Dont be fooled, this is the typical garbage barber shop with zero customer service. This place was recommended to me by a close friend. I called at 7:30pm to confirm whether or not they actually close at 9pm. It took 3 calls with no answer before some guy picked up who sounded like he might be speaking the English language. His reply when asked what time they close? Uhh 8 oclock 9 oclock... Since my little boy needed a haircut for his class pictures, I decided to head there despite the Hialeah R2D2 who had answered the phone. When I arrived there were 4 guys currently cutting hair. So we sat down. 2 minutes later a guy asks whos hair were cutting. So I tell him its for my son. He proceeds to tell me theyre about to close and as I scan the room the barbers are doing the universal sign for were not cutting hair anymore.So I drove all this way to be told that the shop actually closes at 8 and not 9 like the Google information clearly states or what the mentally handicapped guy who picked up the phone said. Oh, and the guy who walked in after us was greeted and asked to hold on for his cut. So dont be fooled, this shop is no different than any other of these places run by kids with no idea what customer service means. If you have kids and they dont need to have dumbass lines in their head, youre better off taking them to hair cuttery where at least they have to act like they care.

Homebase is one of the best barbershops I`ve had the experience to go to, everything from the detail of how the shop was layed out, to the polite culture of the barbers at hand, I forgot to mention I am not from Miami, not to mention that I am african american not that it matters, its just that the previous barbershop I attempted to go to turned me away because I am an african america so I called homebase barbershop prior to coming because I didnt want to experience the hurt or anguish from more rejection based off of my race, homebase barbershop told me they didnt care what color I was, they take everybody . The barber was very good cant remember his name, but he was bald headed he sat on the right side as you walked in, in fact as I looked around everyone (all the barbers ) were good, didnt see anyone in the chairs as well as leaving the chair with nothing, but an outstanding haircut God Bless you all Homebase.
