Loved this place and if I could rate it more than 5 stars I would. Not only are the people here extremely professional, but their work is work you will not find anywhere else. Got my boyfriend a haircut here and he absolutely loved it. Actually changed his barber to this barber shop after his amazing experience. He comes here religiously for his haircut and tells me that he stays shocked at the fact that both Francis and Mikey do such amazing work. Definitely people you can trust with your hair.

Michael is a great person. He gives great haircuts, and is super chill to talk to. He makes sure your comfortable and gives you exactly what you want and doesn’t over do or under do anything. I’ve Been getting my haircut from them for years now. 10/10 recommend.

Francis took care of my husband and she did wonderfully. She was friendly, quick and professional. Her cut was clean, precise and thorough. They are honest people and she even changed the appointment since I booked it incorrectly. The room is a little small and they have people take off their masks while getting cut, so just keep that in mind during COVID season. They dont pack out the room, but they do multiple appointments at once, so theres a chance someone else will be in there with you. 10/10 would recommend!

My experience with Grind Hard Barbershop simply put, it’s a 20 out of 10! The owner has really created the best luxury experience without the exorbitant price tag. The location is perfect, the online appointment only setting is magnificent, and the HAIR CUTS are second to NONE! Every time someone compliments me on my haircuts or asks where I get mine, I proudly and confidently refer them Mikes Grind Hard Barber Shop. Lastly, always ask about his annual packages!!!!!! Mike is awesome. I love the online system for scheduling appointments and the crazy number of services he has to offer, but more than anything, the guy knows how to fade me up. I can be pretty picky when it comes to my haircuts, but Mike consistently leaves my head feeling fresh and the hair even looks good a week after hes cut it. Even crazier, Ive never had to wait. I hung in there for a year calling and trying to get an appointment and then waiting up to a few hours in person. Grind Hard and the barber, Michael, showed excellent end-to-end service unmatched in this area of Miami. I found them through Instagram and was intrigued. So I booked through their online system where I was able to make an appointment with Michael. When I arrived to my appointment the place was spotless clean and I was received with a warm welcome and a great atmosphere... which was definitely unlike the “boiler room” energy I find in virtually every barber shop. I was instantly led to my seat and I showed Michael what I wanted and he went straight to work. The small talk was also great and he seemed like a bright and cultured guy really focused on making me feel comfortable and relaxed. However, the most important thing is that my haircut came out super fresh and he also shaped my beard to look on-point, exactly how I wanted it. I recommend this place a hundred times over as this level of care and detail is unmatched in this part of Miami.

I think the most difficult part of writing this review is deciding which compliment to begin with. I’ve been going to Mikey for close to 2 years now and can honestly say that I’ve never left with a sub-par haircut or experience. His attention to detail and the client are impeccable, and truly something that has been lost with the majority of the barbers in Miami. His barbershop has also changed what we’ve come to expect in Miami, as you no longer have to go dreading into a barbershop hoping to find an appointment and/or arguing with the other clients waiting to see who was there first. Mikey has implemented an online scheduling service that completely eliminates that hassle and you almost always come in at your designated time and immediately go to the chair. As for the experience itself, Mikey is very easy to talk to and helps pass the time with interesting conversation, and with the laid back atmosphere in the shop you also leave very relaxed (with a great cut!) I would highly recommend anyone to give him a try and see what a true haircut experience should be.

Originally the Coral Way location was perfect, a very sound home-styled appeal that just grabs you and automatically makes you want to change your barber and commit to the growing shop. But with the relocation the shop has entered a belittled state, from the claustrophobic size you can literally reach with both arms and touch both sides of the room in 180 degree angles. The parking although may appear to be relatively more convenient that sadly is not the case in the Gables location. The parking happens to be tiny if you happen to be picky and cautious with your vehicle do not even risk leaving your car there as the parking spots are literally centimeters away from the swinging doors of someone parked next to you.Additionally, there tends to be homeless people who look through your windows so do not leave any valuables in your vehicle or else! With the so called improvement came ridiculous prices ranging from originally $15.00 to $20.00 to than $25.00 and now we find ourselves facing a once again infected business owner by the greed that tends to saturate the contemporary owner in a market that is pretty tough. Though Micheal began as a humble, nice, amusing barber as his business began to grow his greed did as well, and the greed once again led someone down the wrong path in his case now into a closet sized shop which he in-turn now charges $30.00 for haircuts to make up the money to pay that high rent in the Gables (which is actually more on the ghetto-side of the block). With my discontent with the way he is running his business I now find myself relocating my haircut needs to Razzle-Dazzle it is down miracle mile, for a similar price, safe parking, and you get refreshments along with a hand massage for the same price.Horribly discontent with Grind Hard Barbershop which ironically does not GRIND HARD!!!!
