I can honestly say that Ray is the best barber I have ever come across. I am 23 years old and for the majority of my life I have always hopped around from barber to barber because I have always been unsatisfied with my haircuts. That all changed once I met Ray. From day one he made me feel comfortable, always asking me what I wanted first and then giving his input on how I could get exactly what I wanted with my features. His stylist skills are impeccable yet he can give the perfect fade. He is truly an artisan of his craft and that is why I continue to go back to him every two weeks.

Mr. Ray is GREAT, weve known him for years. He had to move his business butt his work is so good we just had to follow him. He can do Caucasian hair and African American hair of all types. I recommend him to anyone who needs a professional cut, dye, or wash or tape.

If you like to or need to have a personal relationship with your barber, upperkutz is the shop you need to be at. Book appointments easily through booksy, so you can have your time whenever you need it. Ray (the owner & barber) is not only great in conversation but also a master with your hair. Cant beat it. Personalized care and if you finish your cut but think something needs a little tweek or want to change something about it believe me when I tell you Ray wont let you leave until your 1000% happy with your cut.

Ray from Upper Kutz is terrific with my two teenage sons haircuts. My oldest is quite picky and had a difficult time finding the right barber, but Ray hit it right from the beginning. We were super happy with the look. Ray is also punctual and always has a great disposition. We have been going to Ray for about 6 months now. Thank you Ray!

I found Upper Kutz late in 2014, and all I could say is WOW. They have recently moved further away from their old location, but it doesnt matter. Its worth the drive. It has always been in and out service for me every time I have gotten a hair cut, versus other barbershops in which you would typically have to wait. Rays attention to service is outstanding, there has never been a moment in time where the service has been bad. No matter what, I will keep coming back, highly recommend on my end.Thank you for the service Ray

This barbershop cannot keep any barbers!!! I moved here about 4 years ago and has been going to this barbershop out of convenience. Each time I find a barber to cut my hair just the way I like, the owner get rid of them without any explanation. If you are the type that needs one barber to stick to, this is definitely not the place for you. By the way, Yelp is very misleading putting just their recommended reviews on the main page.

I recently moved to the area and I honestly just went to this barbershop because of the proximity. However, I will keep going back because of the great service. I loved the feel of the place, its like no barbershop I have ever been to, and I could not be happier with how my haircut came out.
