He was up front about what needed fixed and totally discussed the costs with me. He even made sure I got safely to his shop by telling me what to check before I left and how to tell if it was safe to drive there. He never once tried to push me into repairs I didnt need.

Overpriced to change a orifice tube i agree to a 65 dollar diagnostics not 341 dollars. To change a orfice tube and fill with freon and six lil screws for my grill isnt a big feat to get to it took me 20 min to change it and thats including taking the grill off and putting it back on i agreed to you diagnosing not fixing it wich you guys apparently already had done and it didnt help when you were also a lil rude and constantly hung up on me i did get a lil loud but im hard of hearing but you hanging up on me was made it worse. You need be nicer to customers. Not ignorant

This shop is run by a very experienced person. They do good, timely and honest work. The prices are reasonable. The only reason I didnt give them five stars is because the place is not easy to find and the facilities are not inviting. Still, it is a good alternative to a dealership.

Im late on my review but I had taken my husbands 2003 Jeep Liberty in and John was amazing. I usually feel intimidated talking to mechanics mainly since I dont know much about cars. John was very thorough with his explanation on what was the issue and the prices were very reasonable. You can tell he loves what he does and takes pride in his work. I will definitely be going back for any future car issues/maintenance

John and Kristy were Very friendly, great customer service. They do quick check and do the test drive with you to find the problem and explain you everything whats going on with your vehicle. Kristy even gave me ride home since I have to leave my car for 2/3 hours to change front wheel bearing. Totally worth it and they fix cars in reasonable cost.Ill be definitely going there to repair my vehicle and Ill highly recommend to others to go there to fix their cars as well.

Absolutely amazing! they always are able to do a quick check of anything I need on my car. John actually showed me I needed to have a belt replaced. I had no idea and even the dealership had missed it on my last oil change. I was in and out in less than 1 hour. Great customer service! Reliable trustworthy repairs at a reasonable cost. Having been to many places in Copperas Cove for repairs, this has been the best! No pressure about how badly the service needs to be done, and no follow up problems, like the check engine light popping right back on. I will definitely use them again!

Great mechanic and reasonable prices. I took my vehicle in for brake repair and they not only solved my issues but also let ne know of other repairs that would be needed to have my vehicle running better. They didnt try to force to make any repairs that where not needed but informed me off ongoing problems. I will be returning to them for all and any future repairs.

Purchased a new radiator online & after two attempts to get the old one out, finally gave up and priced around, got anywhere as high as 250 just to take the old one out and put the new one i purchased in, finally came across Precision & Tony quoted me at $75, took it down there as soon as I got off the phone at about 9 or 10 AM, was told id have the car back by the end of the day, but it was done by 2 pm. Tony is a real friendly guy, very welcoming and honest. This will definitely be my go to shop for everything from now on.

I took my husbands car here to be diagnosed and fixed. There was a gas leak and the car would only start sometimes. I was told by another mechanic shop that there was low compression on the 1st cylinder, and nothing more about it. Well I left the car at Precision and they called me a few times to let me know how things were going and what they found. The shop that diagnosed the low compression couldnt have been more wrong. All it took to fix my husbands car was 15.00 in parts and the rest in labor of course. Precision Automotive worked in a timely manner and the cost was way lower than I was expecting to pay. The employees were very friendly, and I will not be taking my vehicles anywhere else to be fixed.

Just returned from there. 1) I found out about this place by posting on a FB group I needed a mechanic. The owner, Johns, wife responded and told me I should come for a free diagnostic that they offer. She told me their hourly rate and since Im near flat BROKE I said I probably wouldnt be able to have the work done there so I wouldnt come. She told me it didnt matter to them and I should go ahead and come. He would likely be able to tell me whats wrong and Id know where to go from there.That was a KIND offer so I went ahead and went (even though theyre 20 minutes away). Sure as the world, the car didnt act up for him so he just kept on driving it and driving it trying to re-create what I was telling him was happening. It finally acted up and so he returned to his shop, popped the hood, and shook my air filter. Sure enough it was loose. He tightened the screws and my issue was fixed! I then asked him about my windshield wiper that wasnt working and he looked at it, printed out pictures of the part Id need so I could understand easily what was broken, called a dealer for me and when the price was crazy (nearly $400 for a wiper part!!) he gave me a sheet with a list of junk parts sellers and circled the ones that deliver to him. He also checked my oil, and transmission fluid, searched for oil leaks and vacuum leaks before he let me go. All for free. That said, he just seemed to really KNOW cars, and if you can find a mechanic that KNOWS cars, instead of one that will waste your time and money throwing parts at it... it makes a customer out of me. Ill gladly take my car there for every future issue. Thanks John for all your help today!

My Tundra broke down in KilleenWhile DRIVING, my Tundra started to shut down, gages went awry, lost power and it sound like it was trying to start and turn over on its own. while rolling to shut down.Had it towed home. Then it was towed to a Big Name Dealer in killeen.Big Name Dealer said I needed a new battery and a fuel pump that came with a price tag of $1,400.+My instincts said NO...LEAVE! and my account said Not any time soonI paid the Big Name Dealer for the Diagnostic. I notice on the bill it said they had to put gas in my tank. I had anywhere from 1/2 tank to 3/4 of tank when she shut down. (draw your own conclusions)Heard about Precision Automotive Component and that John is a honest an excellent mechanic and a straight shooter.So, I had my tundra towed (again) to Precision Automotive Component.John was very nice said if it is the battery and fuel pump itll cost around $800(less than $1,400.+...right) said hell order the part, BUT will do his own Diagnostic check.Well, Im expecting to still pay more than I could afford....John calls and says this what they found..Your battery was drained, so we charged it fully. Check the cables and the cable from the battery to the power box was just nasty and cruddy. So we cleaned them real good. Your truck turned over without a problem.Then we check the fuel pressure and it was fine. Tony took it for a test drive and nothing appears out sorts. pressure was holding and good, battery is still charged and good but your tires were really low on air. So we put air in.Checked fluids and everything looked good.So, we charged your battery fully, put air in your tires and cleaned all the cable connections. So far, everything is fine. Your truck is ready and the total is $112.50I said What!? Needless to say I kept registering $1,112.50 and repeatedly kept saying Whaaat!?He had to repeat himself several times to me...lolCouldnt believe it !! A mechanic that is more about helping and HONEST with people...(I know,right!)So I paid them, gotmy truck and ...I felt really blessed.SOoo, I write this review a week later to make sure my truckis still running.Guess, what.... it is. No scarey loss of power, no bouncing gages and it isnt trying to restart while driving.Yes, I would recommend them!!A Big THANK YOU to John and Tony....andThank You Kangy for recommending them.
