I was in Killeen work at Ft Hood. I needed to have my rear hatch door gasket replaced. Fast Lane evaluated my problem and got the replacement part from Austin in two days. The work took less than two hours, including an oil change. The service and the people are great.

My Miata had a rattle in the engine compartment. It wasn’t engine or drivetrain related, and try as I might, I couldn’t locate it. The sound was so annoying and I was embarrassed, the sound said, “beater” and Ai didn’t like it!The Fast Lane tech got to work, and within 20 minutes, had identified and removed a broken exhaust clamp bolt!I was allowed into ‘The Pit’ to see exactly where the bolt came from, thank goodness it’s nonessential, no need to replace, just a removal.Kudos to another satisfying Fast Lane experience!

With frequent moves, it’s very hard for my family and I to find a reliable and honest auto mechanic, so this is the place to come. I have been to other places near Fort Hood and they have been the only ones here to actually help. The team there is very professional, and very good at what they do. The repairs to the vehicle were done correctly. I had concern about residual codes appearing, and the team offered to take a look and tried to rectify the situation. The attention to my concerns are much appreciated.

Have been using them for 1.5 yrs to service & care for my 2018 Ford. Now have 65000 miles on it. Always easy to deal with & understanding what Im talking about. No reason to switch. Being a senior & a retired auto tech, I like the way Im treated. No over pricing or problems, work is ALWAYS first rate.

We are new to the area and I wanted to give a locally owned place a shot over an oil change chain. I was excited to go to a shop with great customer service but this was not it.I came in this morning and asked if they had an appointment for an oil change and the guy behind the counter said Nope, internet is down and then just stared at me. I was waiting for something like, we could do it in an hour, 2 hours, tomorrow, next week, like a normal place that wants your business... but we just stared at each other....I said okay, thank you very much and left. Wont go back again.

I came here a few months ago. Never again!! And before you say the service isn’t listed under my name it’s listed under my stepdad‘s name. We brought my car here to get diesel flushed out the tank. There shouldn’t have been that much left. They charged me $1,500 to get it flushed and when I get my car back there’s still diesel in the tank. $1500!!!! Wasted! It was in the shop for about a week and a half, just to still have diesel in my car. And on top of that Darren or whatever his name is, has a very bad attitude and is very rude. You would think that you would be nice to the customers if you want business, guess not

Great place while getting an alignment the technician found a bone mistake walmart made when mounting my new tires 2 years ago when they put my front tires on my rear rims. They were able to do an alignment and fix everything else for a fairly reasonable price. Will definately go back

I took my vehicle in for an oil change and they noticed a large leak in my valve cover, they had the parts and fixed it the same day (on a saturday) I dropped it off at about 9 am and they had it all done by 1230. Theyre pricing is incredible. They have a very fair labor rate and wont gouge you on parts. Love this place

I needed an oil change for my mothers vehicle so I called to check hours and was told as long as there by 6. Perfect as I work out of town. I arrive at 537pm and the guy is sitting legs propped up on the desk. There were no customers at the time. There was no greeting of any sort. I ask where do I need to pull the car around to and his reply was its too late for an oil change, we close at 6. I will never recommend them with how unprofessional they are. I went to Valvoline who also closed at 6, but they fit me right in. They were nice and professional, but most importantly the oil change took all of 10 minutes and they were still able to close at 6.

Paid $1700.00. Waited almost 2 months for my headlight to be put in(Told me they couldn’t find the right headlights that matched ), and an oil change. THAT’S IT. Upon letting the car sit for so long, Jake told me that my battery was shot and was 3-5 yrs old and that I should replace it . However, I bought it last year at Autozone and it was still under warranty( NOT 3-5 years old). I let my husband deal with them at this point as I am pregnant and stressed. They told me my car was finished that weekend and when my husband and I went to grab my car, we had them replace the old battery with our new one and we realized it still didn’t start . Went back in and they didn’t charge a diagnostic fee (even though they tried to for $110 more)because they admitted to blowing fuses and also admitted to jumping the car several times and OBVIOUSLY we knew AND they knew that it wouldn’t start on THEIR BEHALF. Jake told us they would replace it at no cost and told us our battery terminal was loose and starter needed to be replaced . After some skepticism we paid for that to be done as well . Jake texted me and told me that it would be done Monday, however I checked Tuesday with Darrin and it was NOT ready again because they ordered the wrong battery terminal for my vehicle . Called Wednesday to ask for another update and Darrin asked a coworker the status and I heard the coworker say they ordered the wrong starter ! Get this, I called Thursday and Jake said they were waiting on a FUSE! Wow, the inability of and lack of communication is this shop is unreal ! I let my husband call to tell them to get my car the heck out of there as I am pregnant and stressed or with them . They got my car running that day BUT my radio no longer worked (due to fuses of course). So after getting halfway down the road I called and DARRIN answered and was RUDE as heck to me and said I must have broke it before I brought it in (almost 2 months ago )! I went back to the shop,Almost in tears from being frustrated and they sent Bobby out who found another fuse blown ( WHY DIDNT THEY REPLACE IT BEFORE WHEN THEY ARE THE ONES RESPONSIBLE)?? They fixed the one they found and my radio still didn’t work !! Jake told me they wouldn’t help me (only with free labor )with the radio despite it working beforehand and was very rude ! They wouldn’t cover the cost of the fuse or the radio IF HIS TEAM PERMANENTLY DAMAGED IT . Bobby the tech admitted to the shop having communication issues and others being rude to customers. He also told Jake that they blew the main fuse and other fuses were blown.Bobby apologized for how Darrin acted towards a customer who paid 1700 and waited almost 2 months to have their vehicle back just to find out there were more and more problems and excuses. I took it to another shop and have paperwork saying they didn’t change out all the blown fuses despite Darrin saying they “only” blew 2 fuses, despite taking it back, and despite Jake saying they would get the fuses DONE . Also I got an oil change that costed $70 and they didn’t check or fill my fluids and also didn’t provide me with a sticker . Excuse after excuse and lie after lie. Jake Dewald takes no accountability for his workers messing up, just gets online to argue with customers who leave bad reviews . Instead of training staff and REALIZING what’s going on in his business he has their back and argues with customers. Bad for business.

My father has spent alot of money there, and they still cant manage to fix the leak. If seals need changing, then CHANGE them. Dont take veterans money and then give them the run around. I would give 1 star if I could.

These gents got the ride in and out in record timing at the best price Ive ever had for an oil change. They also do part installs and custom wheel alignments for people with sport setups. So glad to have found them in the local area. Professional, clean, restrooms and waiting area are rather large with the ability to watch as they work if thats your thing. Stop on by, the ratings dont lie.

Not impressed! My daughter took her car there and was told an $800 tune up would fix her old car. Well it didnt, as a matter of fact it came back with two new problems. Hes charging her $300 more to, again, fix the problems. So, what do you think? Is $1100. a good deal for a tune up, you be the judge...... Well here we are a couple weeks later. Is the car fixed no! You should have just told her you couldnt fix it and not to waste her money if the car is to old. not supposed to be able to overheat anymore but you forgot to tell the car that cuz it thought it overheated yesterday.

Have gone to them a few times now. I usually work on my own stuff but its good to have a trustworthy and knowledge mechanic. They have proven to me multiple times that they care more about quality than money. Could have charged me more a few times but the team there truly cares about the customer and their well being. Highly recommend them for those who arent very handy with a wrench as well as those who are. I truly feel you and wallet will be in good care .

The men that work here are such gentlemen. They’re very respectful, welcoming, easy to talk and get along with! I love that they bring you in to look at what they found before and after the fix. And they’re so helpful when it comes to prices! They’ll give you all the options they offer and really try to work with you. One of my favorites places along side the one between the post office and Carwash here in cove. Couldn’t ask for better service.

Good clean and professional shop. Waiting room was spacious and bathrooms were clean. You can even watch as your car is being worked on as well.Customer service is spot on, in how they deal with issues or with their regular happy customers. They can take you in and most times try their best to get you in without an appt if the need arises (brake issues etc).Alot of other people trust them and are return customers, there is a reason for this, just read the other reviews for proof!

Went in to get my brakes done and was out in a couple hours, even without an appointment. Staff was knowledgeable and professional and the waiting area was clean and comfortable. I also noticed that the mechanics went out of their way to explain important details to customers BEFORE any work was completed. They even went so far as to physically show customers issues with their vehicles. I will definitely be using Fast Lane in the future.

These guys are awesome! I went in on Friday after work because my brakes sounded like they were rubbing. They did a free brake check. They showed me exactly what was wrong (left front brake). So they replaced the front brakes, got my oil changed, and new windshield wipers. I loved that they didnt try to up sell me. I added the other 2. I was out of there in just under 2 hours. Also I loved that it was very clean even the bathroom. With Covid-19 around, that is a plus. I also got a follow up call to see if everything was going well. Needless to say, I am very pleased. I will definitely be going back when necessary.

After reading the good reviews online I requested a quote for our ac issues. I was quoted a price for the ac service, which unfortunately I do not have proof of as the message was deleted by the sender, and then scheduled to bring it in. Called us back later that day, saying all good come and get it. Claim to have addressed and resolved our AC blowing hot issue, said they changed the cabin air filter ($50) and that it should resolve the AC problems. Diagnostic done and the results just mentioned the spark plugs cylinders needing to be replaced, nothing else.The AC blowing hot has NOTHING to do with the cabin air filter, and the problem started again, also overheating. Brought it into Meideke and the mechanic there checked our cabin air filter, said there is NO WAY it was replaced a month ago, even with 2500 miles driven, the air filter was BLACK.Lesson learned, thanks for living up to the bad reputation of mechanics taking advantage.

For both of our trucks oil service, they have always been the cheapest and most thorough. They do not try to nickle and dime you for added services or persuade you that your vehicle really needs such services. During this visit, I had them check my 2 batteries in our 1 ton and our scheduled oil change. Sure enough, one of those batteries were done. They explained that these batteries do not come cheap but to my surprise, they were cheaper than all other shops, franchise or not. Kyle was our technician and he did an amazing job with a thorough oil change and had our battery replaced within minutes!!! They honor and respect the military and gave me a discount in the end!!!! Im not sure about the other mechanic shop around in Cove pertaining to fair pricing. But Fastlane auto prices are very fair. The professionalism of the entire staff makes you feel valued not only as a customer but also as a person. Their work quality is fast and accurate. If their is any work that is recommended that you didnt anticipate they will let you know about your safety options prior to just doing the work and charging you for it. Jake at Fast Lane was a savior!I had drove from San Antonio to Cooperas Cove to purchase a vehicle however, I had some concerns prior to purchasing it and needed to access to a vehicle lift (lowered muscle car)I rolled up to Fast Lane on a late Monday afternoon just minutes after closing. As I walked-in a gentleman seemed to be closing the books for the day and looked like the only person around. He greeted me and I apologized for being “that guy” and explained my situation. With a positive attitude and smile on his face Jake said let’s take a look Sir.He crawled under the car for a few minutes with a flashlight and then said let’s put it on the lift and see if we can take a better look and address your concerns. While on the lift he discovered some minor issues I was unaware of yet, deemed the car safe to drive.With Jakes help I was able to get the seller to work with me on the price and drive my “new to me” car home — with peace of mind. These guys really helped me out big. After finding out I had failed my inspection they let me know what was wrong. Without having to set an appointment he let me talk to the Head mechanic and he suggested they open the hood and check out the issue. After just about 10 minutes they figured out it was just a simple little wire that was loose and they help me fix it and go on to pass my test.This really helped me out huge as I needed it done that day. Really above and beyond.

Brought my truck in for hub, rotor, and brake service. It was making a noise, and was told it was not good. After the service, my truck is now amazingly quiet, and smooth driving as well!! I had ran over a can of black spray paint. It sprayed on my new car. I was very upset. I went to Fast Lanes to see what they can do. They got some cans of degreaser and got it off. They are awesome. Been going there since they opened. Wouldnt go anywhere else. Always very pleasant when you walk in. Give they a try.

So I had a not-so-great experience with Fast Lane back in December and it left a sour taste in my mouth. The owners were very helpful and got the situation controlled. They obviously take great pride in their business and customer satisfaction is a must with them. After several months, I decided to come back. Holy cow! Big difference. The employees are amazing and seem very trustworthy (I am very paranoid about other people being around my vehicle). Jake is amazing and has excellent people skills. He even remembered who I was, which is not very common. The prices are higher here bet worth it when you have the excellent customer service.

A great new business making a name for themselves. Fast lane is in a convenient location and in walking distance from a subway. Marcus and Alex were very helpful, they took me out to my car to explained to me what they were repairing and the prices were fair. The only part they didnt have in-house arrived in 20 minutes or less. The business was clean and comfortable. I will definitely be coming back.

My husband took his 08’ Jeep Wrangler there today. Service was great! Marcus was able to help us out tremendously. He was very knowledgeable with all the questions we asked. The price for service was insane! We had spent triple the price at other shops around town for the same service we received here. Also the 2 year nationwide warranty is an incredible steal. They were very professional and helpful. When they say that you will be under their warranty, they mean it as well. I had an issue with my newly replaced brake pads and rotors squeaking, and they ordered new parts and had them in by the next morning, and they were able to resolve the issue swiftly. Marcus and the Fast Lane Auto staff are the best in the area. I am also pleased with their prices. They actually took the time to find and fix a problem that couldnt be fixed by other auto shops. Fast Lane is amazing! I went in for an oil change and my radiator started leaking after they finished. They gave me a new radiator at no cost to me and gave me a ride home while it was being fixed. Amazing customer service at its finest. Its hard to find this kind of service these days. You guys rock!!

Fantastic experience. Called several places to get a second opinion on issue with my car and decided to go with Fast Lane since the service over the phone had been pleasant and professional and the prices affordable. Took my car in and was pleased to find I did not, in fact have an issue. They took the time to make sure their assessment was correct and only then did they call to let me know that my vehicle was ready for pick up, let me know all they had done and what the real problem was, Marcus helped us in both instances and has been exceptionally professional and pleasant. 10/10 will be taking my vehicles here from now on as will my in laws. I have been taking my vehicles here since they opened approximately two years for oil changes and inspections. Always quick and always polite.

Had a front end alignment done, steering wheel was not centered, did not grease any of the front end. Got oil change on another vehicle, they tore apart air filter to sell me a new one. $108 oil change. Not reliable, certainly not trustworthy. Crooks.
