I had my brakes down. So then I began to hear a scrapping sound. I called the Manager Mr Donovan, he told me to bring the car back. He then proceeded to fix it. It works wonderfully now. Mark the clerk has a positive attitude. Both him and Donovan along with the mechanic who fixed the brake the first time were all very helpful. Thanks Guys.

I visited for brakes and the service was superb. My brakes were squeaking but the service guy said it was just the quality of the brakes but I have thick brake pads so my visit costed nothing. It’s so hard leaving a car service place and paying nothing 😲. Definitely a reputable place although this was my first time visiting this place but will definitely be back.

The appointment was at 1:30. By 1:50 no one had apologized or even acknowledged that the time was missed. There is no waiting area. The guy that checked me in looked at me like I was crazy when I showed him what was due at this visit and then said dont they do this stuff with the oil change. So I went right next door and pulled almost directly into a bay at Express Oil Change.

This is hands down my go to repair shop. They are truly all about repairing your vehicle, and NOT swindling you. They do what it takes to fix your vehicle. Why are they so good? They have a master repair technician who does all of the complicated & difficult repairs. He also supervises the other technicians who do the easier repairs and regular maintenance like oil changes. This is a great way to operate a repair shop and it produces high quality results.

I’ve taken my car here for years every time I need my tires changed. And every time depending when I get in there it always comes out within the hour, the only thing is that they used a impact on my locking lugs and they damaged it a bit but it was quickly resolved the next day.

Bring your car here if you are happy to leave it for at least 4 days for a common repair. They often only have one mechanic on duty. Ill go ANYWHERE else.

My experience with Pep Boys has always been a great even in these hard times. Especially during the pandemic and the election. Ive been kinda scared to have service done on my car during this period. To be clear about what I mean, theres been so one trouble in race relations due to the election which made it hard for me to take my car in for service and on top of that there is the Corvid threat that cause some people to not ware a mask. So I went and the service was great they made it possible to make some repairs and I really do thank them for that. I will return for my auto needs.

Yesterday I brought my car to this location to get my brakes done, and buy tires & etc. This was exactly at 1pm, but at 5pm I received a phone calling stating “ I am sorry, but we’re unable to work on your car due to only one mechanic at the shop .” This is still unbelievable to me, and the worst service ever. Then the guy that came into the store hours after me was able to receive the service for his truck. Please help me understand how someone that comes after me get service, but I didn’t ? Why accept cars if you’re unable to complete the service? I’ve been coming to this location for a couple years now, and at the old location. After yesterday you’ve loss one loyal customer, and I’ll make sure my family will stop coming as well.

Tiffany and her crew did a great job. I just hate that they have to work July 4th (until 6😢). Everybody needs a break. I hope these tires last the duration of the warranty.

I purchased 4 new tires from this location and the same day my low tire pressure came on and they didn’t put air in the tires. I had to put air in the tires that night and the light still didn’t go off because they also did not reset the TPSM system. To have paid almost $500 I expected the service I paid for to better. Now I have to drive over an hour to go back to this location for them to fix. I will never go back to Pep Boys again.

This is the slowest mechanic shop I know of. If you love waiting youll love pepboys in conyers. The best part of waiting 3 hours on an oil change here is that for 2 and half hours your car wont be touched. Dont touch this place with a 10ft pole. Youll be told and hour no matter what your getting done. Most unprofessional shop Ive visited.

I visited this location twice within the past year, each time I have received excellent service. My wait time was very reasonable and the price match was a great deal. This location will be my first choice going forward; the other business (GY) has lost another customer.

Had an appointment scheduled, brought my own tire and brand new parts for my rim (which is aftermarket). Only to have the manager tell me they have to order the parts and tire to warranty the work. I asked if I could opt out of the warranty, and he said no. So this place is essentially running a racket. I took it around the corner to another national brand tire company to which they gladly installed my new brakes, and tire. Good luck staying in business pep boys when you turn customers away who are literally spending hundreds of dollars on service.

He was very helpful asking questions about the problems I was experiencing and listening to my issues. As a woman, its hard finding places to get my car serviced that I can trust. This is not one of them. I feel as though my lack of car knowledge is used against me.

I took my car in over the summer about my brakes! They told me I needed calibers and it would cost me $680 to repair. I told them that I didnt want it replaced at that time. I began to look up the price of calibers for my 2002 ford explorer. The average cost per caliber was $40-50 dollars. I then consulted my ex husband who built ford cars and he told me the likelihood of my needing calibers is very slim. So I took my car to another place only to find out that my brakes were fine. I only needed the front brakes cleaned. My rotors was fine as well. When I think about the fact that they lied to me to get money out of me, Im pissed to say the least! I like honesty and you will have a loyal customer if you are honest with me. I will never take my car or recommend them to anyone else

These folks take hours to do the almost simple repairs. I came in to get my oil changed and tires serviced and it took 3 hours. Save your time and go next door.

By far the worst pep boys to go to to receive any mechanical work done!! I had a sensor put on to only receive the same code a couple of weeks later for them to tell me the part is good disregard the check engine light now a few months later the same code is up and now the car is hesitant and misfiring and that is a symptom of a persistent problem with that code and pep boys first act like they didn’t remember fixing the Sensor $750 job then says I’d have to cover it out of pocket again!! No no no the worst pep boys do not take your car there for any engine work!!!!

Went to change my master cylinder, but they told me that all break system needed to be replaced. They wanted to charge me $1300 total and it would take a week for them to get the parts. I decided to go straight to John Miles (my car is an Oldsmobile), took them 3 days and charged me only $800 because ONLY the master cylinder needed replacement. Also about a year ago my vehicle was acting weird, they kept it for a whole day and never figured out what was wrong with it, they told me that the car was fine and it probably had a little water in the gas tank, I took it to another shop and it turned out to be the 7x chip, it was completely fried. I used to like this place a lot back when it was big 10, now I am rather pay a little more for more professional service.

Unfortunately, the Visit today at Pep Boys wasnt so good. The customer service was horrible INSIDE. However, the service guy I dealt with outside within the work area was super pleasant. I needed something super simple as a TIRE CHECK. Was asked to go outside to wait & shell send someone out shortly.....THAT ended Up me being straight -forgotten about. But then when asked one nice Service Tech for help, he quickly assisted. But honestly, I only Needed a lil guidance to handle myself. And I did. So overall, mission Accomplished. Im just relieved I didnt keep standing out there like a Model about To do a Pep Boys Commercial for 🆓....😂😂🤣 IJS

Very nice people. When the part arrived it was the wrong one and would take 3 hours to get the right one so they arranged for a free ride home and back so i would not have to wait and they did that without my asking.

They surprisingly provide very fast service. We were in search of a battery. The dealership was asking for over $300 with installation and NAPA wouldnt touch it because it was a newer vehicle. So we ended up going to Pep Boys. make sure you as well get us out in a timely fashion and answered any questions that we had.

I thought cars only catastrophically break down on road trips in horror movies, but when my water pump seized up and left us stranded in Conyers at 5:30 pm on a Friday, the folks at Pep Boys made me feel like I was stuck in a Hallmark channel special instead. They were super friendly and helpful in a stressful situation, helped us keep the cost of repair as low as possible while ensuring all necessary repairs were done (we still had 12 hrs of driving to go!), got us back on the road the following afternoon as quickly as possible, and were friendly and easy to work with through the whole process. All in all, these guys made our break down a surprisingly pleasant experience.

Entrance employees were present but lazy in their greeting. They didnt seem to enthusiastic about assisting customers. The shop was really dirty, not well presented. Prices were not as competitive given surrounding competition.

Ive always had excellent service and the crew is courteous and professional. I service all 4 of my vehicles here. I have used other Auto Service centers around Conyers for comparison, but I keep coming back to the place that has my trust and makes me feel comfortable.

I have a 2003 Mini Cooper S. I recently had bought parts to have the clutch replaced. Another shop was going to do it but couldnt get me in no time soon. I called Pep boys back and received a quote to have the job done. I dropped my car off on Sunday afternoon, and was told it would be ready on Tuesday. I called Monday to let them know everything the needed was in the car. I called Tuesday around 11 to see what time it would be ready and was told, they were not going to do the job. After being on the phone in disbelief for a minute, the guy then tells me someone called you. I told him that no one has reached out to me and I even called and spoke to someone the day before and nothing was said. Needless to say after scrambling to find someone to do the job and having to leave early and pick up my car, I kindly informed them that they will not have to worry about me paying them another red cent for any services, I will take my business elsewhere.

David, Nick and Brantly treated me very well. Even the follow-up offer of future help was fantastic. However, they lied to me about fixing my truck. 6 months later the ac was blowing hot again. I used a uv light and found a hugh leak in my main ac line. I ended up taking it to Covington Ford who fixed it for a fair price. I wont be shopping with pep boys anymore. They did refund some of my money though.

If a no-star was a rating, I would have given them that. We all know cars can be problematic and run into a few problems here and there but Pep boys definitely isnt the solution. Firstly, their customer service sucks, the worst Ive ever seen and even Walmarts better lol. Ive been there a couple of times but my last visit definitely was the LAST. They have very expensive prices and take forever to work on your car even if an appointment is scheduled. Look away guys. There are better places out there that can fix your vehicles BETTER and CHEAPER.

Very dissapointed!!! I went in for a normal oil change and have been going to pep boys on hwy 78 for years. I always paid the same price but this particular day a mid aged Caucasian woman told me very stern and rude that i would have to pay an additional 40 bring my service to 85 dollar. I was the only person in the store and she never looked at me or seem intrested to know how she could either help me or investagate the problem. Its cliche but felt very racist and hatred towards africian American people as i am. I will not b giving my business to pep boys and will also be spreading this experience.

They found the problem that kept me changing out my ball joints every year. The first in 5 years and only charged for the oil change, not for the tire rotation or for the diagnosis.
