Usually buying tires is not something you want to do on a Saturday morning, just something you have to do. However, John over at Mavis made it painless experience. I got a full set of tires at a really great price. Everyone one was pleasant and very efficient and I was done in a reasonable amount of time. I will most definitely do business with this Mavis location (Hwy 20 in Conyers) again and recommend them to my family and friends. Many thanks to John and his staff.

First time visiting this business. I had never heard of Mavis, and I wanted to give them my long term business. Todays tire installation appointment did not go well. I confirmed the appointment and that the tires were in stock a few days prior only to have the techs searching for them on Saturday. 30 minutes into my scheduled appointment I am told it could take up to 3 hours to get my tire install complete. I took my tires to be installed elsewhere. When time is of the essence businesses must do better. I would love to have spoken with a member of their leadership team.

Great service and very professional!I had to get my brake and oil fluid change. I also needed new brake rotors because they were wearing down. It was a smooth process and they explained everything very simply. I really appreciate the help.

I went to this sore 3 timesfor 2 mores of my tires. ( They only keep 2 in stock at time.) I bought 2 and needed 2 more. I went 3 more times for the other 2 and they still haven’t received them! They created a work order, set an appointment and STILL no tires after I arrived!Idiots! Don’t even bother here, there’s another location a few miles away, if you need this company go to Iris Drive! I am in awe at the level of service I received at this Mavis location! I typically get my tire and maintenance work done here anyway, but this time was the ultimate display of going above and beyond! Im recovering from a foot surgery and cant currently walk, but needed my tire replaced. So, I had my car towed to this location and they literally took it from there, making it SUPER easy to still get things done for my car while Im down. The staff was very communicative from the moment my car arrived, to the ordering and arrival of the tire, and the completion of the work. Once it was ready for pickup, I explained that due to my circumstances, I wasnt able to pickup my car today and had to make arrangements for either the next day or have a tow truck come to pick it up to bring it back to my home. The manager, Will, gave me a call back and offered to bring it back to me since I literally live right around the corner from the shop. This level of service and convenience was beyond thoughtful, especially since he wanted to help me avoid paying a towing fee. I really cant express my gratitude enough for this!!!! Thanks Will!

I needed new brakes and my neighbor told me to go to Mavis Tires in Conyers near Chase, Target, and Publix. She raved about the customer service and work quality so I decided to go. Im sooooooo glad I did! It was so refreshing to receive such good service in the Conyers area. John and Carlton are superstars! Very unprofessionally run location. Didn’t have anyone who says Upfront and when they were there present they payed mor attention to the phone. Had a 11 am apt., currently it is 2:30, they told Me 1.5 hours stores on but hasn’t been aligned. When I have looked in the shop many time, 3-4 of the same people always outside smoking not working. There have been two women that need get sainted fro the waits they have been through.I will not ever comeBack to the Conyers location ! And doubt I will the Covington location after this

If you want to take your vehicle to a place and be sold items that you do not need to fix your vehicle then take it to Mavis Tires & Brakes. This is one of the most terrible repair companys to take your vehicle to have repaired. My wife has a 2005 Chrysler 300 Touring. Her steering wheel started to shake I took it to Mavis Discount Tire on Iris Drive in Conyers, Ga. I was told she needed new tires to stop the shaking and it cost me $499.80. 2 days later my wife and I got the Covid-19 Virus. So 3 1/2 weeks later I was able to get back to normal life and drove my wifes car for the first time since being repaired. The steering wheel was still shaking and boy was I mad! The same day her air condition stop working. So I took it back to Mavis to let them know my wifes steering wheel was still shaking and have the A/C repaired. I was told by someone behind the counter that they do not have an A/C man but the Mavis store on Highway 20, Conyers, Ga. does. So I went there. There I was told the reason why my wifes steering wheel was shaking her car needed some front-end work done. After that front-end work was done the shaking of her steering wheel stopped and her A/C was repaired (for an additional cost.) It cost me $717.00. Now I really felt cheated for being diagnosed for something that did not fix my wifes steering wheel problem. I called Mavis customer service 3 times and was hung up on during one of those. And I sent a contact message on their company website page. Finally, I got the Conyers, Ga District Manager, and was told by him that he will contact me whit a solution in a few days. A few days have passed and gone. Now with this terrible situation happening to me, I have come to the conclusion that If a So-Called Trusted Company District Manager lies to you and does not stand behind their store managers mistakes, what does that say about the owner. Consumers is this really a place that you would want to take your vehicle and (TRY) to have it repaired. NO!!!!!! Please dont waste your precious time or your hard-earned money with this terrible place.

I was told when I arrived for my appointment that the tires I had ordered were not available. I was offered a different set at a slight increase in price then was informed the price that I printed out from my online reservation did not include taxes and fees. Very misleading company to buy tires from.

Ive been coming to this location for about 3 years, since it was a Kauffman Tire. Between two work trucks and two personal vehicles, Ive been here easily a dozen times.The employees are courteous and knowledgeable. One thing I like about this Mavis is that they actually call you when your work is done or theres an issue. Ive had bad experiences at other places in the past trying to track down tech(s) or ask about the status of a job. Their customer service is fantastic.Their prices are reasonable, and well worth it. Ive never had an issue with the quality or timeliness of their work. Overall, this is by far the best auto shop/tire place Ive ever used. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I was glad to have set up an appointment and see Mavis Tire on the same day. I was assisted by Will, the store manager to run through the reason for my visit. I explained that I got a flat tire and needed a new set of tires rather than just one. To determine the right size tire for my car we went and took a look outside. He also took a look at the flat tire and said that it had been because of my wheels being out of alignment which was a service I intended to get prior to my appointment, however I received some good information about how regularly you should be an alignment and that was appreciated. When we came back inside he gave me the out of door price for 4 new Black Lyons tires, alignment, and windshield replacement since they were running a deal for 17.99 per wiper. That came out to a grand total of 587. I then asked about military discounts and he denied me because I was not my parents who both served this great nation although I had my military id with my name on it. However I still proceeded with the services. He had let me know that there were 3 cars ahead of me so it will be a minute which is understandable so I waited. About an hour later, he calls me up and says he needs to show me something which indicates that there was a problem I didnt expect. He showed me that my lower control arm was loose and showed himself. I appreciated to see the looseness because I knew it could affect my safety behind the wheel . He came to a brief overview of the car part but he never explained what it did beside that its car part that is connected to your axle . I then proceeded to look at prices for it and he said its 311 in addition to the 587 totaling up to about 900 for a college student. He said I wanted to let you know before I put on the tires. I said let me make a call and I will get back with you before you complete anything. I called one of my family members who was a mechanic just to confirm the accuracy and the integrity since this was my first time coming to Mavis Tires. My uncle then asks to get a video of the loose car part . I ask Will and he takes me to see my car again and the part is barely loose anymore and even states in the video Its kind of hard to get it loose again . At that point I started to question whats going on because it was 15 minutes later . What could have changed if my car was left untouched. I then ask for another few moments to process everything and in the meantime I have not authorized him to go forward and as I saw more customers I figured they would start on other cars instead of waiting for me to authorize this extra service. I then decide to forgo the whole transaction and go somewhere else. I tell Will, Ive decided to forgo everything and come another day since my car did not have any tires on them . He then responds and says Well Ive already put on the tires. I was shocked because I had not authorized anyone to do so . I hadnt even authorized or mentioned whether or not I was going to add the lower control arm since he needed to do that before he put on my new tires. I felt bound and trapped. I then explained to him that I would have appreciated it if he had waited to put on my new tires . He doesnt address that so we go into talking about the alignment . He says well since you are doing the control arm add on I dont feel comfortable to do the alignment and doesnt further explain. This was not what I wanted . I had explained that if the alignment is what put my car in the shop, why would I get new tires to be placed on without an alignment ? Afterwhile, he charged me a grand total of 472.50 only including the 4 tires, warranty for the tires, computer balance package which he explained was labor and the 2 weather blades.

This facility is great. Clean and professional looking with a staff that compliments the store. John was great at sharing with me what he saw defective and/or end of life on the vehicle. The other Mavis Tires & Brake facility in Lilburn @ 4135 Highway 78 needs to be closed. I will never return to the Lilburn site after the half baked service they did on my car - that the Conyers facility had to clean up after.

Shout out to the staff @Conyers Mavis Tires & Brakes!!!! They were very accommodating and managed too squeeze me in on a very hectic day. My brakes and rotors were in a very bad way...could have caused an accident...Thank God for the technicians!! Also a very special thank you to John...you are truly the Bomb.com...lol!!! My Ford Flex hasnt handled the road this great since I bought it!! Amazing job guys....Customer 4 life and have already recommended several more new customers to you guys!

I just had my tired plugged today and my experience was great. The customer service was top-notch which was truly appreciated. Everyone I spoke to there was gracious and polite. Since I take care of my mother, I dont like leaving her for too long. They made sure I wasnt waiting for a long time and I was able to get back to her in a decent amount of time. I went to see these guys about my low tire pressure light that has been coming on for at least half a dozen times this last year. Usually everyone just puts air in them for me but this time they found a small nail and patched/plugged it for me. I truly appreciate their customer service and will definitely be back!

On August 27th I had a flat tire on my way yo the dealership for my annual maintenance service. My husband was able to make it too the dealership. Our Service Rep told us about Mavis Tires and we call and spoke with John Stewart. We told John our situation and asked could he delver the tire too the dealership. .His manager told him he could drop off with a delivery fee which we were happy to pay. Thank God for John. He was professional and courteous. Because of John, we purchased 2 more titles.

Friendly and efficient. When making plans to get your work done, go early or you will need to wait your turn. This is usual for any car service, they work on cars first-come first-serve unless their scheduling department (which is not located there), tells you it will be quicker not knowing there are 10 cars ahead of you already there at the garage. They will drive you to your home, if it is an all day job. Very nice. They keep an accurate records, no matter how long. Those records are priceless for me.

1st thing on a Sunday morning I needed a tire fixed on my vehicle, I came into Mavis they got me in and out of the store with in less than a hour and fixed my issue. Great customer service and great guys inside the shop and at the front t desk definitely coming back with any tire issues I may have in the future.

Dropped my sister off today 11/5/2020 to get the breaks fixed in one of our cars. I had low tire pressure in one of my tires and decided to use the free air machine to put air in it. One of the customers kindly approached me and helped me check and put air in all 4 tires!!!! I wish I had looked at the guys name tag. Very nice people.

The first time I visited this Mavis my experience was horrible. I had an appointment and still waited for 4 hours. This experience was a much more pleasant one. John took me right back fixed my problem, communicated an update with me and got me out of there quickly. I was very pleased. Highly recommend. It makes a big difference when you have that open communication.
