Treated my 13 year old daughter today with a gel manicure. I waited outside in the parking lot due to covid and crowded waiting area. When she was finished she called me to come around for her. She asked me to see her nails and that they didnt look right. The gel polish was not applied right and left ridges and bald spots on her nails (see photos). I immediately went back in to the salon to ask about them. I asked the man upfront to take a look at them. He agreed that they werent good, however placed blame on my child that she didnt say anything to her nail tech. I reminded him that she was a child and I paid $40.00. He became belligerent and turned his back on us talking to his client about us negatively. I was very disappointed that he chose to act so unprofessional and basically dismiss her even after he saw the shotty work. I have been going here for years for services and I will never go back after today. SHAME ON THEM FOR TAKING ADVANTAGE OF A CHILD!!!

I am not a difficult person and definitely not a difficult client but if I pay you for a service I expect exactly that and if there is a issue I expect you to resolve the issue in a timely manner .Never have I ever experienced the level of unprofessionalism that I have experience today nail technician Rose from friendly nails on 701N in the food lion plaza also known on Instagram as Rose.nailedit delivered horrible customer service I got my nails done on July 13th the very next day my thumb nail broke and had 2 cracks in both ring fingers I am not ruff on my nails by the way soooo I messaged her and she told me to come 30 minutes before closing and she would take care of me so I went on my lunch and waited a entire hr. For my nail repair which I didnt get repaired because I was on lunch and had to go back to work. messaged her again for a appointment to receive a repair and she responded again to come a little before closing which does not work for me because I have a hectic schedule and cant just waist hours our my day with no guarantee of service I need a designated appt. So then two nails start lifting its just getting worse as the days pass so again I message her and no response so of course I go down there to talk to her in-person shes not there out sick speak with Father/owner he makes appt for Thurs 3:15 this is Tuesday mind you I already message her Monday no response so finally today I get a message telling me that she is not able to honor our appt because she is sick I tell again about the lifting nails and the pain they are causing me her response is she can have someone in the shop soak them off and refund me half my money 🤔 I proceeded to tell I dont want a refund I would like my nails fixed she then says well she doesnt want the same thing to happen again so soaking them off and refund half my money is the best she can do🤷‍♀️ so I simply state they are only a week old if thats the route she would like to take I would like a full refund of my nail services she then proceeds yo tell me the shop doesnt do any refunds at all do she was doing me a service to refund me half I told her that that is so unprofessional that she should stand by her work and take care of the customer mind you I was never rude stayed professional the entire time she still refuse to fix my nails or give me a full refund at this point its the principle Im not pressed for money I just wanted you to do what was right in the end I told her to keep the money its not worth going back and forth over but a WARNING for all that do business with her and that facility you are just a number the have no ethics or customer service

Somehow, I came here for the first time on a very busy Friday afternoon. I decided to wait it out, and was glad I did. The young man who did my pedicure took his time and did a good job. Ill be back.

Myself and my niece went to have our nails done together. Had to sit on completely opposite sides of the room which kinda defeated the purpose of having them done together to spend time with each other as she lives 4 hours away and only gets to come down a few days a year. Her nails alone were 50$ which I thought was crazy for what she got. Weve both had broken nails, and chipped paint within a week of having them done.

Me and my Daughter went for a girls day to get manicures together. Wanted to get them done at the same time but it was really busy so kinda feel like my nails were a rush job, so that the woman could hurry and get to my daughters after mine.Its a week later and they look cracked. My daughter enjoyed the experience. Dont recommend bringing kids on busy days. The nail tech we had was very nice. Good prices.

I have used this nail salon for over 2 years now and I absolutely LOVE it. They are very professional and do my pedi and mani just like I request. I have gone to MANY places in the past and I usually never do reviews but I think Friendly Nails deserves this! Thank you Friendly nails for the many years of great service you have provided me with. It was my first time going there today, overall my nails turned out pretty okay. Ive seen better but they werent the worst. Ryan did my nails, he was very friendly. This was the cheapest Ive paid for nails in a long time. I was satisfied overall.

We went for my 6 year olds birthday. They did a great job. It was exactly how she pictured it. The cost was low the the quality was high!

I want to start of with Linda my nail technician was very nice. However, that does not compensate for how horrible my nails look. I wish I could add a picture to show the extent of how messed up They are. I went in for a full set with gel polish. My nail length is now uneven, my cuticles look terrible, the acrylic is bumpy and uneven that was placed on the nails. They are shaped oddly- I told her square. The polish has bubbles in it, because the curing process for the gel application was done incorrectly. And I asked her several times to fix it, but she was not comprehending what I was saying. I am livid right now. Now, I am going to have to waste even more money to have my regular person in a different town fix them. I should have never tried a new place. Lesson learned.

The best pedi and manicure I have ever had. Tammy was awesome.

I’ve always gone here and never had any problems they were always the best but this last time I went they rushed through my nails and didn’t do all the steps they needed to considering my nails haven’t been done in weeks they just rushed through it. I haven’t had my nails done a whole week and they feel as if they’ll pop off if I do the simplest tasks. I feel like they gotten sloppy and just try to rush through their clients

My niece had a pedicure here a few weeks back and had to get SURGERY! She had complained at the time that the nail tech nicked her right big toe and she jumped it was that bad. Two days later her toe is so swollen!!! She tried natural remedies and ended up having to take a course of antibiotics and that didn’t work so she had to get her toe nail surgically removed! This has been the worse place! They didn’t even discount or refund her when she told them at the time. And she went back up there after surgery to say something and they still say it’s not their fault! I think they just want to avoid a law suit!

Staff are friendly and good at what they do. Salon is very busy most days... so best to call ahead for an appointment when possible.

Always get my nails done here.. Great place.. Good customer service.. Make sure u got there early because it gets very packed and u will find yourself waiting. Did it once and learned my lesson. 😃

The first two times I did the dip powder it was good. Even though they charged me the same price and it was a fill in. The third time I went the lady was horrible and I dont think she ever done a dip powder before. My nails were broke a lot easier and one nail had a bump on it. I dont want her again if I return. She also charged full price.

Just went there for the first time and Im VERY happy! Not only are the prices fair but the man who did my nails did an AMAZING job! Im more than satisfied 😁😁🤗 I will be going there from now on 👌😎

The worst place ever... Some of them dont even have the licence . They dont have the professional attitudes and the tools are not sanitized in the right way. If you are lucky enough to have the right nail technician to do your nail, if not it will be a big waste of money and time and end up in SURGERY.

Ive been in there many times and used Diane, always had a great experience with her. I have been in 5x lately to get my nails done and they always say call for apt which Ive never had to do even though I may have to wait a lil bit. I called this morning and they said come on in its walk ins on Saturdays so I go in and the owner gets in my face and asks me if my job is his problem in front of everyone!!! Very unprofessional and rude

One of the only places that you can go for a mani and pedi and the staff doesnt talk around you. They are FRIENDLY and very attentive of you. From calling to schedule an appointment to the moment you leave you are being taken care of. I drive 45 minutes for my appointments. I dont trust anyone else! If you are lucky enough to get an appointment with Nikki do so. She is my FAVORITE!
