First time getting a gel manicure since I needed something quick. Danny was amazing! A little confusion about what I wanted but super efficient but also quality as well. He asked me every step of the way if I was satisfied and did a great job. Would go back again!

Scheduled pedicure appointment in advance. I arrived ten minutes early to my appointment and was directed to sit in a pedicure chair to wait. I sat for over 35 minutes without a tech acknowledging me. The pedicure tub was not even filled while I waited. After 35 minutes I left without service. I understand staffing may be low, but they need to adjust appointments and cancel if needed. Will not return.

This was my first time at this nail salon and I was very satisfied! I had Thomas as my nail tech and I showed him a picture of what I wanted and it came out nearly identical. It was more expensive than what I wouldve expected, it was really worth it (I got a full acrylic set with french tips and matte coat so I did not expect it to be cheap anyway). This was easily my favorite set of nails Ive ever gotten done!

I got dip with tips. And i tell you it was the best! They look so good. They make my hands look so skinny!!!!!!! I am in love. Will be coming back in 2 weeks.

This place was friendly. I’ve never been to salon and my nails came out perfectly. Shape was on point and they were quick. Thomas stayed late and I still didn’t feel like he rushed but did the BEST job! Thanks

My first time here I had to wait for about an hour to finally have someone start on my nails even though I had an appointment. I went back because the employees were nice & it was clean. I tried to reschedule an appointment today because I had something come up that i didn’t want to be rushing to, they told me if i canceled, i couldn’t book with them again. So i kept my appointment because between the first experience and now it’s been good. I go there today and i was waiting for 25 minutes even though I had an appointment. I ended up just walking out so I wasn’t late to where I had to be. They guy didn’t even seem to care. they don’t schedule appointments well and i will not be going back.

Please do not get acrylics removed here. I had a technician literally rip my acrylic nails off and make my nails bleed. I tried to reach out to the business both via their text service and Facebook Messenger and heard nothing. I was being scolded for getting gel polish instead of dip on top of my acrylics while they were being removed. I was wincing in pain because they were not removing the nails crrectly and the guy just kept yelling at me to the point where I was speechless and left the salon in tears. Please do not waste your money here please visit a salon that actually cares about their customers, I highly recommend lacquer gallery.

The main thing that disappoints me about this salon is the fact that appointments do not matter at all. I’ve gone to this salon several times hoping that it will change and maybe they were just busy the previous time but it’s just not the case. I have sat 30+ Minutes and even an hour once before anyone even spoke to me. Not to mention their prices are outrages for really average services. $65 for a gel pedicure? $40 for a regular pedicure + 15 for gel... I’m no mathematician but you get the point. I will not be returning to this salon. Seriously, save your money and most importantly your time.

Love this place so much! Every technician I’ve had has been awesome. I never feel like they’re rushing and I always feel like they don’t let me leave unless my nails are perfect- which they always are. Best place around.

Although they were running behind, and a lot of people were waiting I never felt rushed at all. The pedicure was one of the longest I’ve had and the gel mani was perfect. My nails look great. A little pricey but worth it when they are taking their time.

After almost 5 minutes of explaining and agreeing with the technician of what end results I would like I still had to correct the work being done several times. While getting my full set I asked for rounder tips, thinner acrylic coat, more narrow nails, smaller tips (French tips) and also asked to change the color of nude being used as I did not like it but was told that I had to use that specific one or I wouldn’t receive the results I wanted.. which makes absolutely no sense but I went with it as I was already very frustrated and just wanted to get home for my birthday gathering. After my first hand was completely finished I wasn’t pleased with the results but I had to get home. When I was being checked out my total came to $77 which I was in complete shock as I was told a full set was $40 plus $5 for a shape. I was then told I was charged $15 for gel which I DID NOT ASK FOR and definitely WAS NOT TOLD I would be charged for. I knew then I wouldn’t return. I got home and realized my nails were completely ruined and I got nothing I asked for. I called back to schedule to get my nails fixed and when I came in i got dirty looks and very rudely asked why I left if I didn’t like my nails the first time, rudely asked what was wrong with my nails and the manager continued to speak to the employee that was doing my nails so that I couldn’t understand and they kept holding my hand up and looking at it which was all very humiliating. I understand some technicians are at different levels and can do different quality of work but for me to go about the situation the way I did and get terrible treatment back was very uncalled for. I’ve had issues in salons before where I have to return to get things fixed but never was criticized for it and it was more of a shock to me as the first day the manager told me if there was any issues they wouldn’t hesitate to make it right but just don’t offer refunds which I said was perfectly fine. If anything makes you not chose like salon let it be that i’m not the only comment that they use gel without your confirmation to make your total $15 more expensive.

Chose this place because it was a good walk from campus and loved it. They did an acrylic fill in and it was so well done. Loved the color the employees were nice and my nails look amazing.

Got a full set of acrylics done and am disappointed. I left looking like I already had half a week of grow out by my cuticals. Then she flattened the whole nail, so theres no structure keeping it stable. Not only does this mean lifting will be worse, but my natural nail is now taking the brunt force of any and all pressure, so its painful as well. I use to do nails, so I suspect they didnt think Id notice. Im not saying this was the worst nail job ever (their facilities are clean and cute and the work was done fast) but I do recognize common tactics to make sure your clients have to come in more often and pay more to get a balance or even replace whole nails regularly. Hopefully not all of their artists are doing this, and I hope the ones who are stop, especially since theyre increasing their prices.

I am still in shock.I am not from Ohio, my sister and I are visiting and we decided we wanted to get our nails done. We looked at Amelias website and review thinking that the prices were more expensive then we were use to but, we thought with all the positive reviews and decent prices (compared to some others) we would try it out. I asked for an overlay with gel polish and I did have dip on my nails. For those of you who dont know what this is, its just acrylic on your NATURAL nails THATS IT. The lady asked me to pick out my color and sit. The color I picked on the color palette looked like a holographic white with blue in it. As the man was putting the color on my nails I realized it was not the same color I asked for but I felt like I was in too deep to say something so, I let it be. I went up to pay and he told my total was $76.00 (before tip)...I was a little confused so I asked what I got. He told me: $40 for pink powder full set, $15 for gel, $10 for dip removal, and $5 for special nail shaping....he then proceeds to say I am sorry I forgot to say something in the beginning. I understand the dip removal but being charged for a full set when NO TIPS were added onto my nails, and then an extra $15 for gel? I basically walked out paying for a full set and a gel manicure all while not even liking the color on my nails.This is ABSOLUTELY ABSURD.If you plan on going here, I wouldnt but if you do, I STRONGLY suggest asking what you will be charged for BEFORE they do any services on you.To Amelia Nail Spa: Shame on you for the poor descriptions on your website and for not SPEAKING up and telling your clients what you will be charging them for.

Paul did an excellent job at my first appointment here! I rarely ever get my nails done and was not very knowledgeable about all the options. Paul did a great job at explaining the differences in nail options. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he made them look exactly the same. I was very impressed and will definitely come back!!

There were perfect in their service. They are excellent regarding their covid cleanliness. Very customer oriented. I will go back after today, being my first time using their service.

Terrible experience at this place. No one spoke to me when I entered. I waited around for another customer to tell me where to go to sign in and wash my hands after continuing to wait for 15 minutes the lady asks me if I was waiting, asks me what I need, I tell her a fill in and she says ok. Waited longer for a guy to ask me if I had an appointment then let me know they wouldn’t be able to assist mw. Rude, terrible unprofessional experience. I will take my business elsewhere.

My friend used this nail salon and had a very horrible experience. The staff was actively discriminating against her and she was not heard when she voiced her concerns. Do not recommend this salon.

This was gonna be our first time going here my daughter scheduled appointments for us. Graduation day not only were not open, they didnt even call us to say they wouldnt be open. I would have gave them a lower star but it wouldnt let me.

Got both a pedicure and manicure, with only gel polish on my hands. Spent just under $100 for the service and my manicure looks weeks old. Not only is the price per quality poor, but while I was getting my nails done my nail tech kept calling a male nail tech over, saying something, and laughing until I had to interrupt and ask if there was an issue, which of course there was not. Im from out of town so I didnt know any better but now I do, for better quality and a more respectful experience go somewhere else!

Um usually this is my favorite shop but umm sadly I really don’t know how I feel about my experience today... I usually don’t like to be a bother and give constructive criticism because I truly like to just trust the process and let the tech do their job but today I noticed that my nail shape was slightly off from the rest and just wanted to give feedback on it but it was immediately shut down by the tech... I think it is because it’s a Friday and they are busy, which I understand, so he was in rush to get to his next client but him rushing caused him to not really pay attention to the lack of similarity to my other nails... my favorite thing about this shop is that they take their time and pay attention to detail but today I got the opposite so I’m just kinda disappointed...still gonna come to this shop just wanted them to do better but I lowkey got scolded for saying something and it made me feel really uncomfortable to be scolded for pointing out a minor flaw..Like....just wanted the shape fixed 😕so I’m conclusion, great shop but just pray they aren’t busy or in a rush lol...might not get the same great quality as if it’s a calm Tuesday..

First off this is the second bad experience I have had here. The owner is always very unprofessional and down right rude. I decided to give a second chance because maybe they were having an off day. I asked if they did chrome nails and the owner said we dont know how do to them or waste our time doing them. So, I decided to go with french dip. I am aware that french usually costs more but I was never made aware of that. I told the nail tech doing my nails that I would like a thin white line and he simply kept ignoring me, my nails are also way too thick especially for dip and the shaping is very uneven. The atmosphere was very uncomfortable and unprofessional and I will not be giving them a third chance. I highly recommend going somewhere else. They only care about how much money you are spending!

This was hands down the best nail salon experience I’ve ever had!!! the space was very clean, their COVID procedures were very good (two hand cleanings required upon entry), and the quality of the entire experience was awesome! i got an ice dancer pedicure and Roland did an awesome job taking his time during the pedicure and providing me with perfect nails! also, the massage chair was out of this world! this will definitely be my go to nail spot in Columbus! such good value for the quality of service

Best salon in Columbus. I moved from Dayton and have been on the search for a good salon. I’ve been pretty unimpressed by many in the city. Stumbled upon this salon after having a terrible experience from a different nail tech not from the salon and they were nice enough to fix my nails at a very fair cost. The tech even stayed a little after they closed to do me the favor- soo nice. The massage chairs are awesome and the staff does an excellent job. The pedicure chairs have the plastic covering on them so they’re very sanitary and thorough. Above and beyond service! They have won a loyal customer in me! I really won’t go anywhere else to get my nails done in Columbus anymore. Highly recommend.

I was here on a work trip. I am always weary about going anywhere but my salon back home however this salon is great. They do have a parking garage literally right next door, Amelia nails will validate the parking ticket for you. Paul did my nails and he was absolutely amazing, professional and did amazing work on my nails. I am so happy with them. This is the top rated nail salon in Columbus with reason. My nails were done to a mere subpar standard. The prices were ok and there was no wait but they really shouldn’t even call it a manicure. All they did was glue on and paint nails. No file, no cut and never did my cuticles. At other nail salons they give lotion, massages and maybe even a finger soak but this place really did the absolute bare minimum, while still charging 40$. The man doing my nails was on his phone and was not welcoming at all. One of my nails is also very crooked. Will not be returning.

I always get exceptional treatment here! My nails always look great and hold up well. I get acryllic with gel and they really look great when I go back. The only reason I need to return is to get them filled in not becuase they start looking ruff. Ive never broken a nail from here and the gel never peels or pops off. Im a nurse so I wash my hands a lot and can be rough on my nails but Amelia Nail Spa can do a beautiful job to keep my nails looking great!

I wish I could give Amelia nail salon 10 stars!!! My bridal party had the best experience at a nail salon I have ever had. We booked our party with many last minute changes and a large group and they were extremely accommodating, efficient, and provided excellent service. They brought us wine and were an overall extremely fun group. Cant wait to go back!

UPDATE: Emma did my pedicure - and despite it being about a year, remembered me! She was very kind and exclaimed it was nice to see me, which was very touching. Plus, the pedicure itself was excellent - with her attacking my very neglected feet and turning them from hooves back into those of a ladys. And the hot towels were back!!!!Coming in, Id asked about a full set in addition to the mani pedi I had booked. I was assured this would be entirely possible.Hai(sp?) was very fast and efficient - although his needing to serve as receptionist, with frequent phone calls and ladies streaming in, did interrupt. If one is in a hurry, this may be be bothersome, however.So why didnt I rate it as excellent? One was the constant interruptions. Not a problem, but not ideal. Second was being asked to sit next to some who would have been like 2 away, not 6. Twice! (I felt bad saying anything the first time as the lady was African-American, and I didnt want her to think that was the reason.) Anyway, when I protested both times, I was accommodated by being seated at least 6. Third, I had made an appointment originally for a mani and pedi, but was not seated at a pedicure station, which has the massage chairs. Fourth was not disinfecting a chair some had sat in seconds before me.From start to finish, I was there about 3 hours. Most was being attended to, not waiting etc._______________________________Thomas is professional, efficient, and fast. A full French tip set was done in 45 minutes!The pedicure, done by Emma, was also very nice. No hot towels, though, because of COVID-19. I think the price was a bit reduced because of it, but not by much. The chair massage is almost worth the price of the pedicure - quite invigorating!Shop is very clean. There are partitions between the technicians and patrons. Everyone is appropriately masked up. I felt very much like Thomas was taking the disease seriously and trying to keep everyone safe.Because of that, no receptionist - and one must sanitize, check in (on a keypad), then wash hands for a minimum of 20 seconds. People with appointments cant come more than 5 minutes early!

I live about a half hour away but make the trip here for my nails and pedicures! Great service and atmosphere and I’m always thrilled with the finished result! Definitely recommend😊❤️!

WOW!!! Im very disappointed in the service that my daughter and I received. Very disrespectful 😡!!!!!! When you are charged almost $300 for 2 ppl you should receive what you want. But we did NOT !!! Plus, in big hurry to get rushed out. Manger was gone so I guess the client isnt important when the manager is gone . They DID NOT be forthcoming on their prices. Plus, this is the best part they thought we could not understand what they were saying about us. But Im fluent in THEIR language. Wow......I would not ever have gone if I thought that we would be over charged nor talked about. Plus, we cause them to work late and the one girl had plans. So she found it ok to talk trash, over charge and not give what was requested to nails. I was told she didnt do designs. So I guess it mad it ok to over charge myself and my daughter. Which her stones that were done by another person fell off not even 8 hrs after being done. Im sure alot of clients would not go if they could understand what they say to each other about the client s they are working on.THEY ARE WORTHLESS!!!!

I loved Amelia Nail Spa! I decided to try it for the first time this past weekend and was extremely pleased. It has a very modern look inside and is very clean. I wanted dip nails and they had a ton of colors to pick from. My nails turned out great and no detail was missed. I would definitely go back and recommend it to everyone!

Love it here. Recently switched to Amelia’s from a different nail spa and they are not only cheaper, but they’re also incredibly friendly and incredibly good at what they do. Love Amelia! I get the dip powder manicure and theyre the best in Columbus that Ive found. They last for 3-4 weeks, have an incredible amount of colors, and I rarely have to wait to be seen. Excellent service, I love Amelia nail spa!

I have been to many nail salons in Columbus, but this one is by far the worst. The prices are expensive to normal, but I cant seem to get over how unprofessional the staff is especially the owner. I have never seen an owner disregard and disrespect not only customers but also employees in the manor he did. As for the nails, you 100% do NOT get what you pay for. For gel and a pedicure it was super overpriced and tbh my nails and pedicure looked like I did them. I wont be returning and advise others to take your money and business elsewhere.

My cousin and I were desperately looking for a decent nail salon with good pricing, and this place is definitely it! A great value in a convenient location. They were very thorough. They did my nails exactly how I wanted them. This place is clean, the way isnt very long. I am very pleased with my nails! And im definitely coming back.

WE LEFT! I had an appointment, waited for over 40 minutes, and not one person ahead of us looked even remotely close to being done. While we were waiting, the owner answered the phone, and told a previous client that it was HER fault that her nail chipped, then hung up on her!On top of that, this place charges the employees if they don’t put back nail polish.Very strained atmosphere.It was stressful, and no one there was happy to be there.Go elsewhere!!!!YIKES.

One of the best nail salons I’ve been to. The interior is clean and modern. The nail technicians are each friendly and professional. I had made an appointment to get my nails done for my wedding, and was very pleased that I️ did!

I was able to make a same day appointment and was seated as soon as I arrived. Kevin was fantastic, listened to what I wanted and did a great job. I can imagine after work and on weekends it might be a longer wait. Its a beautifully kept salon.

Terrible! Walked in at 255 for a pedi and gel change...young man was nice but didnt know what he was doing....took him til 415 to finish pedicure...he wasnt able to shape my nails at all. His coworker had to help. The manager watched all of this and never said a word. I left without completion of my nails. When I went to check out the manager then spoke up to tell me how much I owed. Trust me, this is not the spot to go!!!

After requesting my pedicure he performed the service. When it was time to pay, I mentioned that he didn’t perform all that was listed on the menu for the pedicure I choose. He then informed me that they do not offer some of those things due to COVID-19 but he didn’t tell me until AFTER the “service” was completed and the specific pedicure I requested could have been edited prior to giving me the menu. After two days, my polish began to peel as well.

The quality of the the work was excellent. My nail technician took the time and care to handle my cuticles, which I specifically asked for. The manicure was perfect! I didnt give 5 stars because I thought the services were overpriced.

I’ve only been to this salon a few times and my most recent visit was the last straw. The woman doing my nails cut them so far down on the sides that I had to pull my hand away because she was literally cutting into my skin (kind of like when you pull a hang nail too far down). She seemed confused when I told her she was cutting my nails way too short. She did this on at least three other nails after I repeatedly asked her to stop and just file them. My last nail is cut so far into my skin that I ended up leaving with the gel already lifting because there was barely any nail left to file on that side (as you can see from the below picture, as well as my pointer finger that she cut into). Upon leaving, I was given a $5 discount and told someone else could try and fix the nail. Needless to say, I did not take them up on that offer. I recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Went for the first time after leaving a different local nail salon I had been going to for years and I could not be happier with my decision. My dip lasted 5 weeks without chipping or breaking! Highly recommend this nail salon!

I went here for the first time because its extremely close to where my boyfriend lives - literally a minute walk - and I was not disappointed! It was a Friday around 11 am, and I was immediately taken care of. The nail tech didnt try to pressure my into getting anything more than I wanted (gel polish, no mani) and was very attentive about making sure the gel polish fully covered my damaged nails. Not to mention, it was pretty quick, extremely clean, and all the staff were super friendly. I will definitely be a return costumer!

I will never go to another Nail Salon again! He knew exactly what I wanted, and even did a shape(coffin) that my previous nail tech said woudnt look good on my fingers... needless to say, that was a lie! My nails look great, clean place, nice people, 10/10 would recommend.

As Ive never been to a better nail salon! I made an appointment, which they honored. They were so quick and efficient & The gel color last to over 2. 5 weeks and thank you! Thanks a lots!

Im so happy I came to this place on a whim decision. They were such a quick and precise. My cuticles were beautiful and the polish was perfect :)!! !! Amazing place :).

This review is long overdue but I came here a few weeks ago to get my nails done for my birthday back in Feb. This salon is such a fantastic SPOT. Ill be going back to her from now on. And the product is very great!

Nice efficient nail salon. I was able to walk in, get a quality $18 basic manicure and walk out in about 20 mins. She even offered me a glass of wine which I happily accepted. I’d go back here again.
