Laundry mat was clean and service was nice. Only downside is no coin machine to get quarters. Im from upstate NY and the price was a lil higher for what Im use to paying. Other than that its a decent place

I was there on Saturday at 11am, and asked the employee to drop off but every time she replied rudely that she was too old to work there she said I cant get my clothes until Monday morning,, and every time I go there she is The old woman over there I know shell make up stories for me to refuse to wash my clothes,,, There is the girl who works on Saturdays, shes cute, gorgeous, beautiful in the way she looks and treats the customers,,, Ill go back there and every time I see the old woman not doing her job Ill Giving one star and a negative comment,,, If the old woman does not like her job, it is better for her to sit at home and leave the opportunity for someone else who needs work,,, It is strange to go to work and do nothing but collect your pension at the end of the week.

The owner or worker is absolutely rude. Usually a laundromat has a coin machine and detergent for purchase. When I asked she was incredibly combative and flung money and detergent at me. Incredibly rude and disrespectful. Apparently they dont care about business or the customer.

I would give this place negative stars if I could. They don’t have a change machine & was annoyed when I asked for quarters. The old lady that works there is EXTREMELY rude to not only me but the ladies next to me. First time being here so I didn’t know they had “personal dryers” as she put it. Maybe they should have a sign instead of having an attitude and when I asked her about where I put the quarters she said “ME, you give them to me” in a sassy tone then walked away after & pushed the ladies next to me cart out of her way. Even that lady said “Wow, she’s so rude!”Would never recommend, rather wash my laundry in the tub.

Extremely rude. A place shouldn’t call themselves a “coin laundry” and then be condescending and annoyed when you ask for change in quarters. I was very polite and this woman’s customer service was deplorable. I finally had enough and told her I was going somewhere else. Her response was “good.” Considering we’re in a pandemic, you’d think business owners would be more gracious and accommodating to someone whose willing and able to spend 20 dollars on four loads of laundry. This place doesn’t even deserve one star

I have been going to Shelbys laundromat for years Chevrolet and the rest of the women are absolutely wonderful I got my laundry up there weekly they folded them nice and it’s a great laundromat

The staff was friendly helpful always on time with folded clothes shirley offered to iron couple shirts told her its just fold

I come here once a week to do my laundry i like the lady shirley she is kind and friendly to everyone i could go to any other place to do my laundry but love talking with her she is a hard worker the place is clean and everything works well i will come back every week and all the help there our also friendly thank you and have a blessed day

Owner is rude. This one is right next door to me but I will drive to the next closest laundromat instead.

After a few visits we have to be honest.... This laundry mat is less then a mile from our home and we choose to drive 6 miles to a competitor mat. The staff durring the day was really rude on more than one occasion and the place needs cleaned! Theres no change machine. Now the change wouldnt be an issue as they do give change. How ever no more then $10 at a time.

The place was dusty/dirty. The old woman in the front desk was unwelcoming and rude. She seemed bothered when asked for quarters said she didnt have any at first (what kind of laundromat doesnt have quarters?) then magically she found $30 worth, always with an attitude, sorry you yous dont have a coin changer... Not recomended at all/find another laundromat. ❌❌❌

I had to wash one of my larger down comforters in one of the big machines recently. I found the establishment to have pleasant and nice, helpful employees. In my opinion customers need to be courteous to staff if they expect courteous treatment in return. It is expensive to run a business and I would imagine that a laundromat has high overhead fees and relies upon people using the washers as well as the driers. They also have a lease obviously because they rent space in a commercial strip mall location. At my visit I witnessed the owner assist (very patiently) an elderly lady whom was very confused about something. He appeared to be quite worried about her and he made sure that she received the help that she needed. He even called the police to make sure that she got back to her correct assisted living facility. The public can be so harsh and critical on some businesses. I have been here a few times and the machines always seemed to wash my items thoroughly and the staff was very pleasant. They have a TV and magazines in there also.

I love Shelbys! Its been my saving grace multiple times throughout the years. Affordable, clean, and the staff are helpful!

Half the machines are out of order, and the dryers get super hot but there doesn’t seem to be good air flow so it’s hard to know when the clothes are actually dry. Also every time I’ve been there the employees kept walking back and forth passing me in the narrow aisle (3 feet wide at most) even though using the other empty aisle would have kept us 6 feet apart.

First time using this laundry mat and would not recommend it. The elderly women who works early afternoon was very rude and bossy telling me how I need to do my laundry. I went back and it mustve been shift change because the next women was also not the friendlest and when I asked for help as far as amount of minutes and temp to use on the large dryers, acted as though she had no clue. Ended up spending extra money on multiple dry cycles as well.

Do not use this laundry facility not one of the 4.00 over sized washers work there is no signs on them so you find that out the hard way . The front loader 2.00 one is full of mold . The facility is poorly maintained washers full of water, dog hair or animal hair in them im pretty sure someone only collects the over priced machines and leaves i needed to wash my hands in the bathroom and the faucet moves 😅 Im pretty sure it is not attached . I warn you go somewhere eles do not waste your coin here . One of the washers does not move the agitator so I am doing the washing for the machine I just put 2.00 in .GOOD LUCK

Laundromats arent cheap anymore. I had to do five loads and dry them and that ran me almost $25. Okay in emergency which is what I had but not something you want to do all the time. Contrary to all the reviews I did not have any problem with the staff. They were just fine. However there are a large number machines out of operation. Go early to avoid the crowds

Overall a good laundry service

I have never been to this laundromat, and will never go now. I called a few minutes ago to find out pricing, and to be sure they have large-capacity washers. When I asked Do you have large-capacity washers?, the woman said, rather rudely, Well, we dont NOW - theyre all full. That is all I needed to know to stay away. Very disappointing.

We washed 2 plastic bags of microfiber towels for only $2.75. No drying as we didn’t want to. It took 30 mins. You can change dollars to quarters at the spot or bring your own quarters. The machines only take quarters.

My personal experience was not good, I could not do everything I wanted to do as there were not enough large capacity washers avaible. About 30 - 40% of the equipment in this establishment was out of service. I will find another place to go.

Service is horrible. Attendant was extremely rude and disrespectful when I asked for change to wash my clothes. She responded with an attitude saying Are you washing here. I replied back and said thats what these bags in my hand are for. She proceeded to slam the cup on the counter with the change in it. I told her she didnt have to slam anything with an attitude and to give me my money back. She threw my $10.00 on the counter. I said I dont deserve to be treated like this. I serve my country. With an attitude she responded saying well so do I. I dont appreciate her attitude at all and how she treated me.

Im always on the hunt for a good laundromat when I need to wash my king-size comforter. I dont really understand all the good reviews because this place definitely needs some maintenance. Several machines were out of order. Of the 22 dryers, 4 were Out of Order. Of the 12 standard washers, 3 were Out of Order. They only have five commercial machines...three smaller ones and two larger ones...and 1 of the larger ones was Out of Order. Even the pop machine had an Out of Order sign on it.This place needs some attention...a repairman to fix the machines and someone to do a deep cleaning.I think Ill go elsewhere next time.

My dryer went out a couple months ago, so since this laundromat is right down the street I decided to give them a try and just wash clothes at home and run over and dry them there. Went in yesterday, and after I loaded my 3 loads into dryers, the employee informed me they have a new policy that they are now charging a $3 per load dryer fee on top of the quarters you use to dry the clothes for people who dont use the washers as well?? Said they are losing too much $ for people just using the dryers? Nothing posted about this anywhere in the facility, the place is very small and dirty, and honestly the past couple months I went the few dryers that actually were in working order ate well over $3 extra dollars in quarters without me saying a thing. I will not go back!!! Very disappointed!

This was my 2nd time here and I had a ridiculous experience. The owner was there and told me it was 3.00 if I just wanted to dry my clothes. ON TOP of the quarters i used for the dryers. Ive never heard of such a thing! It gets worse...he later comments that I have a lot of laundry to which I reply 3 kids and a husband will do that to you and this arrogant s.o.b says to me 3 kids... together? And gives me a creepy smile. What kind of business owner talks to his customers that way? I will NEVER go back! If I could rate you 0 stars I would.

CHEAP AND DIRTY SPOT if you must go I understand but if you can go somewhere else it would be better . Half of the machines washers and dryers dont work its very small and the guy is always eyeing the people, one of the dyers has a pipe in it. There is a 24 hr laundromat on Sunbury Rd next to Kroger much better if you have to wash late.

I have been coming to this location for years, because of the friendly staff and needless to say I was not let down on my last visit. I must say that the facelift is wonderful and I was so surprised at how clean it was. The staff is wonderful and we laughed and chatted the whole time, making a daunting task just that much more bearable. Thank you for your services! We shall return again!

Good place to go if needed laundry done or have them do it for you. Clean area with many washer and dryers that are time efficient and run well. Plenty of area to fold laundry too. I was very pleased with my first visit.

This place only has five industrial washing machines and six or 7 old fashioned agitators. It is incredibly crowded with only six or seven people inside. Very very small place. I drove 20 min out of my way to come here because of the reviews. I cant say anything about the service or the quality of the machines because I did not use them. But it really was a big disappointment when you have to do 8 pillow cases filled with laundry.

SMH... The people that gave 4 and 5 stars did you go to the same laundry mat I want to. Very old equipment half of the washers and dryers is out of order. They have 1 king size washer and it sound like its about to take off smh. The dryers gets luck warm. Tomorrow I have to find another laundry mat to dry my clothes because the dryers didnt get hot..I have only one good thing to say Lady on night shift was very nice My first and my last time going there.✌

The attendant was very friendly. Helped me with the door, suggestions on a dry cleaner, and several great restaurants in the area. The bathroom was clean, and the childrens play corner was neat and tidy. Several machines were out of order but plenty for the loads I need to do.

Shelby is really sweet and professional.I always get my big duvet and comforters washed here.It’s small, nothing fancy but very effective.

They capitalize on your misfortune of having a broken dryer by charging you a FEE of $3.00 to dry because you didn’t wash there.I left with dryers available for use because of this ridiculous policy.Turning down customers and money, not great business! Thanks for nothing!Rude!

Been coming here for a few years now and I love it. Friendly staff. Best time to come is on Fridays. The women who works on Fridays is always very nice and helpful

I had a ton of laundry to do and to save time from doing it one load at a time at home, I decided to come here. Most of the machines did not work or had signs on them indicating that they were not working properly. The washers I did use left my clothes soaked even after the spin cycle and then took over an hour to dry in dryers that barely got warm...forget about this place.

Very friendly staff, machines do the job well, they do have change for larger bills, however the only problem I had was the price for the 1 larger machine. Other then that this place was very clean, pleasent to be in, smelled great and I would recommend this to others.

NEVER coming here again. Wish I could rate 0 stars. I am a grown adult who has been doing laundry since I was 10. I know what I’m doing and understand things like the limitations of a washer and dryer. Besides the ancient machines, most of which are out of order, tiny room, and overpriced wash and dry cycles, THE number one reason I will not be returning is because of the incredibly argumentative, rude, and aggressive attendant that stalks me like a hawk for no reason. For being there maybe 15 minutes to drop off my things, I had been scolded about how my loads were too big and I wasn’t allowed to use xyz machine and was pressured and scolded into using the most expensive machines about 6 or 7 times. Again, let me clarify, I am a SANE and EDUCATED adult who is fully aware of what “too big of a load” is and do not need to be repeatedly lectured on a task I am not performing incorrectly. First and foremost, I should not be dropping 20 dollars to do a couple loads of laundry; that is flat out ridiculous, let alone be made to feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome the entire time I’m trying to do an already arduous activity. I would literally rather wash my clothes in my bathtub at home than EVER come back and deal with that horrible woman ever again.

The elderly women are very rude. They roll their eyes at non-english customers trying to get coins for their loads. Sad to see the very little patience they have with the customers bringing them business.

I was easily able to twist-squeeze a cup of water out of a towel that had been in a lightly-loaded wash/spin cycle. Half the dryers got hot, but the other half only got warm, requiring more cycles and money. Sickly and surly teen tending the place (do you want a sick person doing your drop-off laundry?). And to top it off theres a sour wall of smell when you walk in the door -- perhaps caused by all the high school football uniform washing they do (nasty). The only customers theyll get with this setup are those that are desperate and find other laundromats are full of people already. Yep, I was desperate -- another laundromat a few miles away was packed, this one wasnt, and I was on a tight schedule. I wont be back, desperate or not.

I immediately felt welcome when I walked in the door. The facility is clean and the employees very helpful. I would definitely come again if in the area.

The man at the counter - the owner, is unnecessarily abrasive, rude and arrogant. Quite surprising, considering his machines are all run down, old and weathered ! Doesnt care much for foreigners or his employees, from what Ive seen. will not be going back.

Warning! Dont come here to do your laundry, you will lose all your change because most of the machines dont work.The sad thing about it is i told the attendant and she dont believe me. She said i probably pressed the wrong button and she let other people used the dryer. I come here alot so i know which machine works.
